#LonelinessBusters is a podcast where I talk to founders, researchers, policymakers, investors, community builders and more, on how to build a more connected world.

It all began with a click.

I posted my personal blog "Let's rethink social" and woke up to a million views. When I got thousands of personal messages from those who wanted to help, I realized 2 things:
1. People care deeply about the issue of loneliness and social disconnection.
2. People want to help but don't know how.

So began my quest. I had 200+ conversations with experts, founders, researchers, doctors, teens, retirees, parents, grassroot leaders and community builders. They challenged me, inspired me and blew me away. But I know I am just getting started.

This is my attempt to lift the veil, break the silos and inspire more entrepreneurs, researchers, and community builders to join the "loneliness busters" squad.

1 in 2 American adults are lonely today.

We need all hands on deck, now more than ever.

Can social technology can be wired for kindness and helpfulness, instead addiction and negativity?

This week I talk to Boaz Gaon, the Founder and CEO of Wisdo Health. Wisdo is a healthtech company providing social health solutions to those who need it the most. Wisdo provides 50+ Peer Support Communities where people can engage in secure, confidential, and anonymous conversations to foster emotional support. Since launching in 2018, Wisdo has connected over 1M Americans with people who’ve been in their shoes and provided clinical referrals when it matters most.

Prior to founding Wisdo, Boaz was an award winning novelist, playwright and journalist. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics. He is the author of seven produced plays, two novels and three non-fiction books. He received a Fullbright award in recognition of his work in theatre.
