Speaker 1:

Hey, welcome back folks Back to Get Fit Message Fit Light Blueprint. My name is Dietrich Horsey and I'm going to get into how to get fit fast using topics that I'm really excited about because a game changer, especially for folks like myself and those who are 40 plus, especially women, who are not looking to get bulky but definitely want to get strong. So there's a guy that I want you to, and this is kind of a plug for him as well. You know, it's all good. Jay Benson talks about tempo training. Now, if you're someone who basically either thinks that you don't want to join a gym or don't want to be in a gym for long periods of time, or you don't know how to train, or afraid to train because of injuries past, present injuries or, as I said before, women who don't want to lift weights because you're afraid you can get bulky and your main focus is to kind of get strong, well this would have rubber meets to rope.

Speaker 1:

Now I'm a professional bodybuilder Back in the day, professional bodybuilding. I've done many different training methods and I trained hours and hours on in the gym, weeks at a time, months at a time, for years, and I came across and I've known about this method. I just didn't quite understand how effective it is until I start using it on and with my clients for the past, say, seven, eight months, up to maybe close to a year. So this is tempo training and the reason why I like it so much because it saves you time, Most important, because we all know time is important, especially as you have time to put it to everyone period. You care what age you are. You're going to realize it's important until you get older. But saving time, this method you basically have seven different exercises you need to do that you need to do and should be able to be done in no less than 30 minutes. This is full body I'm speaking of Now. You can break it up however you like to doesn't matter. This really just. I mean it comes down to just common sense training.

Speaker 1:

So the tempo method that Jeffries talks about, Jay Vincent, that is Jay Vincent talks about is stimulating the body to the point of absolute failure, but only one set. And I say one set meaning that you may have a warm up set or something like that, but basically just one set to absolute failure. And with that and I have testimonies already from some of my clients Karen is one. Allison is another, and he's a woman who has literally transformed themselves into. You know, seeing the strength go up, seeing the body change. I have a 72 year old client who says, you know, she's ever done any kind of dieting per se, but she's clean. I'm not going to say, oh yes, it's a miracle. You know, you can eat anything you want, but she's pretty clean and she does this three times a week and she's 72. And her body has transformed, not only just strength, but as far as definition and everything.

Speaker 1:

So what is this temple training? Well, let me give you the benefits, right? That, I feel, is probably the most beneficial for those who are listening, especially for women, moms, who need a lot of strength, especially if you want independence and you want to not have to have people carry stuff for you. Well, here's the deal Temple training. A quick example Say, you're gonna do a squat. If you can, You're gonna do that squat for, say, 8 to 12 reps until absolute can't do one more rep. Even if I tried, I can't do one more rep, that's it. And then, once you do that, you're going to another exercise. And the good thing about this doesn't really matter the order of how you do it either. It's just working to absolute favor. That one set and then you're done for that day. I mean done Now, Randy, you probably wouldn't know. Make sure you eat clean or stuff, eat better, but good, better, best.

Speaker 1:

There are different ways, people. You'll see people doing that. You'll see some people say, oh, I do temple training and they'll do it. Say they'll do like the slow eccentric but then explode up. That is great, that works too. But you want to get the most bang for your buck. I usually do it this way and I'm sure Dave Minson may have a different approach to this, but for my beginners I usually had them start with a four and four count, which means four counts slow down, four counts slow up, One set to a max. Now you have to figure out what your weight is on that kind of stuff. But usually for those beginning I'll do something really basic like a air squat, a body weight squat, Slow tempo up down, going to a push up or modify push up. Same thing four and four, and as time goes on I would add another second to that. Now, when you get to the point, that gets pretty easy. Then we start adding low to that right there. That way you're safe. Not to mention the tempo training Charles benefits is easy on your joints, Although the explosive exercise you see people doing I'm not calling anybody out but I will say like something you can reference it to crossfit explosive.

Speaker 1:

You know Olympic lifts and those are great for if you're going to do CrossFit, no question, that's what they do. You got to do it in order to basically be in that group. But there's a lot of injuries associated with that. There's a lot of sets done with that. There's a lot of time being taken away from your daily routine of life Been used for that Bodybuilding, the same thing. I used to be a bodybuilder, so I know Three, four sets, five, six sets, ten sets Arnold's book was like you know ten, twelve sets per body part. That's a lot of time, Not to mention it's a lot of wear and tear on your joints, ligaments connect the tissue, the whole thing.

Speaker 1:

So, with that being said, try the tempo training. If you want some assistance in that, you want to program, I will have programs set up that you can do yourself. I can do a self-program set up where you basically just download it and basically you have the exercise you need to do with it and how many reps, I mean how many sets, which is only one. I'll have that for you, probably before, probably sometime in the November, December. I'll come back and let you know. When it's up on the website, you can download it. But right now, and if you want more, more one on one stuff, more kind of a VIP kind of treatment, they can walk you through the whole process in a group. That is because I really can't do it individually, not unless you know whatever. No time, no time, no day for that conversation. But anyway, try the tempo training.

Speaker 1:

Look up Jay Vincent on YouTube, On YouTube, Instagram. My name is Deitcher Corsi. Try it again. T. You will notice the difference within a short period of time, without the wear and tear, without the extreme ongoing Now you will be sore Period. I'm going to throw that at it right now. You will be sore For the first few times you do it because it is high intensity. But again, it's only one set. So try it out. This is Deitcher Corsi, with Get Fit Methods, Fit Light Blueprint. Look forward to speaking to you guys soon. Be well One day at a time. Get fit fast. Have a great day.
