The MAK Podcast — Too real for the faint-hearted, too funny for the boring.
Welcome to The MAK Podcast, the audio equivalent of kicking down the door to a late-night hangout where nobody pretends to behave. It’s music, madness, and mouthy opinions — all thrown into one glorious, unfiltered chaos. Expect Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, and Alternative tracks that slap, paired with conversations that definitely weren’t cleared by any legal department.
We’re talking social and political commentary with a side of sarcasm, sports debates so heated you’ll think someone owes someone money, and life philosophy that might actually fix you… or break you. Either way, you’ll laugh. Probably too hard.
For listeners 21–55 who are tired of polished nonsense, The MAK Podcast is your sanctuary of reckless honesty, questionable wisdom, and jokes that will absolutely get someone in trouble.
It’s wild. It’s messy. It’s for entertainment purposes only — seriously, don’t quote us at work.

Before we drop something special, we had to check in with the family.
This episode may be light on topics, but it’s heavy where it counts.
Asaad the Artiz opens the show by reflecting on the unexpected backlash surrounding a recent “Poorly Ran Franchise” segment and wrestles with a tough realization: friendships aren’t always as unbreakable as we believe. It’s an honest conversation about loyalty, perception, and why even the strongest bonds can be more fragile than we think. Trust us—you’ll want to lock in for that opening.
From there, we get into:
• The controversy surrounding “Dr.” Cheyenne Bryant and the debate over the legitimacy of her doctorate.
• The long-awaited YG vs. The Game conversation.
• Our personal Top 5 songs from both artists.
• And to close it out… some NBA talk, including the shocking possibility of LeBron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers.
A shorter episode, but one filled with conversations that’ll make you think while setting the stage for something even bigger.

Microphone check one two what is this? This is the macro top two talking so authentic. What's going on with your swag?
SPEAKER_07I'm good. I have no complaint. I got to hit the river today, so you know. I'm feeling good, feeling great. How are you? That's my signature.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Um I would say I'm kinda in the realms of feeling a great disappointment.
SPEAKER_07A great disappointment?
SPEAKER_06I've realized how friendships are fragile. They're very, very fragile. Um and I kind of sit here upon reflection because something in uh my personal life that's related to this podcast has happened, right? So for those who are new here, um do understand the only time where this show is when I'm really speaking from a real perspective and real life things when I start off at the top of the show with the real life feelings, thoughts, and emotions, right? Um when the music starts after the intro hits, you know, and I do the whole all the thoughts, views, expressions of energy, that's when the BS comes along, and you know that I'm being facetious and you know just playing around. Joking. Unless you're using real topics. Unless I'm using a real topic. And then, you know, and you can tell by the tone of my voice, you can tell by the energy that's behind it, but when I'm being for real and when I'm just playing around, right? So this correlates to the infamous delusional Debbie topic I uh we we covered a few weeks ago uh well over a month ago.
SPEAKER_07Like two, three episodes ago.
SPEAKER_06No, no, episode 46?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, 46.
SPEAKER_06A few, like a lot has happened since then, right? Right. So that leading to some real life ramifications.
SPEAKER_07Well, I mean, they are people who were spoken about on the pod, so it's not like Did I use their names? No, but you didn't use real actual.
SPEAKER_06I used a real event, I told the truth. Yeah, so about something that really happened. And if and I'm just shocked at the lack of accountability on their end.
SPEAKER_07Well, you know, I I can't speak for one of them, but the other one, I kind of see where she might be coming from.
SPEAKER_06I totally wholeheartedly do see where she's coming from. I understand Debbie's scene. I understand Debbie's perspective for sure.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, because it got downplayed a little bit with it, but we we won't we I do see where she's coming from.
SPEAKER_06I do see where she's coming from. I do. In the regards of her energy towards Harold. Yeah. Right? Which is why that's what that's where I'm coming from on that aspect. Like and Harold is on my top. Yeah. Crazy.
SPEAKER_07Now, why is Harold so upset though at the end of it? Okay. Well, what do you think anyway is that?
SPEAKER_06There's a there's a few things that I think, right? So the thing that he is citing is that I threw him under the bus. I am trying to figure out how he drawn to that conclusion. It wasn't me who aired out business that weren't mine onto a group chat.
SPEAKER_07No, I do agree. I don't think you were wrong for bringing that up because that's not okay. You know, I mean it happened and it happens a lot.
SPEAKER_06If he would have pulled me to the side and had a private conversation between him and I, I agree with that. And all of that was laid out on me, and then I brought that onto the podcast. I he is 110% vindicated. It definitely was posted for more than one person. It was definitely public now.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's a public thing now at all.
SPEAKER_06And and and to certain regards, that that extends to Debbie as well. Like she took a matter that was supposed to be between her and I, and a matter that was completely made up, by the way, and she caused a scene in public. So y'all out here making things known to other people. That but you guys are upset at me for making things known to other people. So it's just the the the lack of accountability on both their ends is disappointing. But it's just like, you know, like, and I get well, well, I get what they're coming from with me, like, oh, you're saying it on the radio, you're saying it on your podcast. A podcast, which in its respects is not like, shout out to all the listeners. Love y'all for sure. But it's not like this is tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands and millions of listeners tuning in here. And especially locally. Not a lot of people listening locally. So it's just like, okay, so who am I really saying this to? I'm saying it to all my folks out there in Dallas, Texas, Flackstaff, Arizona, shout out to Chicago, Illinois, shout out to like tons of cities. We have some nice markets, aren't you? Tons of cities that's not here and that have no idea who Debbie is or who Harold is. Right. So there is, there's no reason to get that upset about it.
SPEAKER_07I mean, you gotta live in the world.
SPEAKER_06And the fact that a lot of inside, like some people just, you know, again, they're ruled by self-righteousness, ego, and hurt feelings.
SPEAKER_07Well, I do have to say, I don't know, but I think he might be a little hurt. But I He's tripping. I do think that it's it has to be said that y'all two did, y'all were talking at one point. It was a back and forth type of thing and hanging out with delusional Debbie. So I I think that's where the issue came in to make it, you kind of it seemed like it was downplayed to where it wasn't that deep for it to go there. It was on my butt but it started out like it should have been. I seen some receipts, I ain't even gonna hold you. I did. Because the conversation between y'all two did seem like y'all both were trying to lock in on each other for a little bit and see if something could be. Let me stop you right there.
SPEAKER_06Let me stop you right there.
SPEAKER_07Because I seen your messages too.
SPEAKER_06Okay. At the first, wait, wait, wait, what message is on text message?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, like the way y'all was conversating and stuff. Like, you know, she's like, if I'm delusional, then why were we talking like this? Dog, what? I mean, I don't want to put it out there like you don't care, but I missed a few messages. I want to see you. Those are definitely on your end.
SPEAKER_06Okay, for sure. Now on that end, on that end, at first, oh, because I that that part was music.
SPEAKER_07And then I did see when it started going down and you said that you felt like um, you know, you was only getting like, you know, one day type stuff.
SPEAKER_06True story. Because again, how it just originally started out with, right? She was going through something in her personal life that was like, you know, very tumultuous, right? And I was just here for, hey, let's just be homies, let's be friends. I mean, I got you. I was a basically a free therapy sessions for a girl.
SPEAKER_07I don't know, no. I seen the messages, bro. Okay, no, no.
SPEAKER_06Let me let me tell you, let me let me tell you, let me tell you where it all switched, switched around. Because you did like her a little bit. At first. At first. No, at first it was just cool. I was dealing with a two-month-old and a three-month-old. Yeah. I'm not sure. So I was just I was simply just cooling. And I had a lot going on in my situation, and I still got a lot going on in my situation when I am just cool.
SPEAKER_07Well, then you should watch the way that you change it.
SPEAKER_06Okay, but let me let me come on, let me let me know. I'm gonna listen.
SPEAKER_07Hey, we in this together now.
SPEAKER_06Now, the thing switched up when she started showing, calling me her boo thing, hugging on me, kissing on me, etc. etc. etc. And I'm like, oh, so this is this out of out of the blue just turned over here. Okay, so you know I mean, like, all right, this is interesting, and I don't know how to react to it, but other than like, all right, let me check it out and see what the thing is, see what the deal is, right? And the only reason why this is a thing to begin with, was somebody else in the chat who don't really know me from a personal level because we're uh because he was new here. Um, and you know how I like to joke around with the Dr. Umar's Black Queens Forever Snow Bunny sometimes. Right? Yeah, black Queens Forever Snow Bunny sometimes. Yeah. So he's over here thinking that I'm like, you know, kind of dogging on white women in XYZ. And then he sees me and Debbie out and about, and he's like, oh, doo, hit the phone, expose him. Oh, like like, you know what I'm saying? Like, like, you know, like he caught he caught uh uh Dr. Umar or some stuff like that, say, oh got him. But I'm just like, okay, that's he's new here, so I'm just gonna show him the all the grace in the world. He really don't know what I'm just kidding around to be facetious. So I let that slide. While that whole video was being dropped from his end, Harold is quiet as a church mouse. Didn't even say anything until weeks later.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_06And that's when I started to pull back from Debbie when uh Harold was like, yo, we got history. Okay. X, Y, and Z, here's like, you know what I mean, just running through the timeline. So I'm like, oh, so okay, homie might feel a certain way about me talking to Debbie now. Okay, so let me pull me.
SPEAKER_07No, you can pull back and let me pull back.
SPEAKER_06You know what I mean? Because it's not that deep for me.
SPEAKER_07But it seemed like it was way deeper for him.
SPEAKER_06It seemed like it was because why you were dressing the group chat with like that. Yeah, yeah, just to make sure. You could have just pulled me to the side, like, hey, bro, me and her got history, X, Y, and Z. Okay. I would have totally backed off and left it where it's at. But he didn't do that. Okay. My thing about Harold is why you are not pulling me to the side and have these conversations with me.
SPEAKER_07Right. Because now you want to put you to the side and have conversations.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, oh no, no, no. He he we had a conversation, and guess what he did? Dropped the conversation we had, our little conflict, and dropped it in the group chat. Oh, wow. And the chat's been silent since.
SPEAKER_07Because what do you expect?
SPEAKER_06Because what is he doing? Why why he's not understanding the fact that, dog, if you continue to make things public and make things to people's business that should not be their business, of course I'm going to respond by making our business known to people who don't really care.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So that's my thing, bro. Like, you could have told me all the dirt, all the gossip, all the tea to the side, and I would have never brought him up on the pod ever. But he chose not to do that. And he is not taking accountability for being like, yo, I'm a grown man in my 30s. Why am I dropping all these photos and videos into a group chat?
SPEAKER_07Exactly. And and uh honestly appreciate you for that because I mean, why are you doing that? Like, we're too old for that.
SPEAKER_06We're grown in our 30s.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, what are you trying to prove with that?
SPEAKER_06What are you trying to prove to a bunch of dudes that you don't just met, don't really hang out with, yeah, and you're trying to oppress it by doing what?
SPEAKER_07You're putting claim on someone who like you're not even a relationship.
SPEAKER_06And you put a claim on someone that you're talking greasy and crazy about at the same time. Oh, it's so what CDC Herald is bugging.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, you can't play both sides now.
SPEAKER_06You cannot play both sides. You take the side and stay there. Yeah, dog, and it's not like we're not having this conversation to the side. Right. In private between him and I, and then I come and take this out and make it public. That is throwing you under the bus. Yeah, and that because your goofy self decided to drop and air out everything in a group chat. You obviously don't understand group chat etiquette. If you want things to be private, keep it out of the chat. Keep it out of the chat, bruh.
SPEAKER_07Keep it out the chat.
SPEAKER_06So it's the fact that he did not abide by just grown man rules. Yeah. There's a lot of photos and a lot of videos that I have that are promptly in their in the hidden and would never see the light of day. Why? Because I'm a grown-ass man in my 30s. And you know that's not what we do. That's not what we do.
SPEAKER_07That's not what we do, okay?
SPEAKER_06So like like when it can like with and when it comes to Debbie or anybody else that I've talked about in this podcast, people are making it seem like I'm in my feelings. No, this is just hilarious to me, and it's content, and I can make it funny. Yeah. To me. Well, you know. So it's just like it's just a fact, and and and it's not like I'm lying. It's not like I'm on this podcast lying to everybody. Right. I mean, I tell lies after the intro. That's when I'm lying. That's crazy. But but like, no, no, no. But like on real real topic time, man, like I'm extremely disappointed in the fact that this friendship has dissolved due to his delusions.
SPEAKER_07And maybe in his mind, he thought that the group chat was sacred. You know what I'm saying? Maybe he felt like what stayed, what happens in the group chat stays in the group chat.
SPEAKER_06I understand that too.
SPEAKER_07You know what I'm saying? Like my channel. I totally get that. Because that could be where the energy's coming from versus it being like, well, you know, he should have put you inside me.
SPEAKER_06I'm in four different group chats.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_07And you ain't never had no issues till now.
SPEAKER_06Never had any issues. I've been in four different group chats. And even I'm aware of the fact that, hey, I whatever I say or do in this group chat, I could be held accountable for at any given moment.
SPEAKER_07Any given moment, yeah. Yeah, because you know you know how people do.
SPEAKER_06Because I know how people are, I know how screenshots work.
SPEAKER_07Right, especially if it's some good uh messy good tea, especially if it's some messy good tea.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, so I I I do. So I get that, but like there is no sacredness. The only sacredness there is is when there's a private conversation happening between you and a friend.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, and so there's a private.
SPEAKER_06A private conversation. Yeah. A conversation that you and that person are just having just you and that person, it. Right. You can come and talk to me about anything, and it won't it won't leave.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_06It won't leave out of my mouth. But if you're gonna make it into a public forum, releasing information on a public forum, i.e. a group chat, you're goofy to think that is sacred grounds. Yeah. As a grown man in your 30s, that's I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_07I don't understand that. That's what he thought though. That's from the way that the energy seems to be, I feel like that's what he thought it was like person B, something personal. But I mean, at the same time, when you drop in personal information that's supposed to be kept to yourself, you really do want to share with everybody. So, you know, I think he should just think twice before he does something like that.
SPEAKER_06You should really like sit and reflect. And then you're gonna call me, call my phone on my line. My roommate was there listening to everything. I was there. Getting, yeah, getting hype.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I heard it.
SPEAKER_06Calling me everything but a child of God.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god, bro. That that part was wild. I'm like, do you want to talk or do you just want to, you know, tell your own.
SPEAKER_06He wants to get physical.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I don't think it's that deep.
SPEAKER_06I don't think it's not that deep. It's not that deep. It's definitely not.
SPEAKER_07But first of all, she y'all not together, bro. Y'all not together.
SPEAKER_06So that is another theory. Maybe you really do love this girl. He probably does. And you're you just haven't faced that reality yourself. And that's not my responsibility. You know, it's not. You could have been a man and be like, hey, man, like to keep it around to keep it a buck, man. I really, really do like her, man. Like, you know what I'm saying? That's how he should have called her. I really am like, you know, kind of hurt that y'all two are are were talking or whatever the case may be. Because, you know, X, Y, and Z.
SPEAKER_07He even could have been like, after he did it on the podcast.
SPEAKER_06And you're mad at me. And then listen, I invited him on this podcast.
SPEAKER_07And that's what I was about to say. I want y'all to know that these these folks have been invited to clear their names. You, y'all have everybody conversation they want to have with you.
SPEAKER_06Whatever conversation, because it's just this is a public conversation.
SPEAKER_07It's not a one-sided thing. I need y'all to know that. That's it.
SPEAKER_06It's not a one-sided thing. I'm not going to be hopping on this microphone and be like, oh, yeah, just me talking, and that's one side of the story, and that's it. I invited everybody that's been mentioned on the show to come on this show. Right. So I don't want to hear that part. Yeah. It's an open imitation. So, so, but like, you know, going back, it's like, bro, like, you could have told me, like, you love this girl for real, and and the reason why you're mad at me, because the girl you love is furious at you in all the rights in the world she should be. Yeah. Yeah. It's furious at you, and you thinking that it's all my fault when at the end of the day, I'm not the one who dropped all that information to a group chat.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And I mean, if you dropped all that information on me directly, solely, just between me and him, that would have been one thing. I would have never even mentioned homeboy on this podcast. Right.
SPEAKER_07And you know, honestly, um, I had no idea who it is still, you know what I mean? Yeah, nobody knows who this dude is. Only you can expose yourself with this, you know what I'm saying? Like, and that's what he did. I know who the girl is, and you know, I'm you, but other than that, like, only you can expose yourself with this game. Only you can expose yourself, man. That's why code names were used for this.
SPEAKER_06Exactly. Yeah, I do, I do. He's like, oh, cops is being called, bro. Cops are being called for what, eight.
SPEAKER_07Cops being called for what? Oh, because you should have never dropped that if that's the case.
SPEAKER_06That's the case. But even if even if that's the case, bro, like, voice of proof evidence.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, ain't nobody's finna blast you like that.
SPEAKER_06No one's gonna blast you like that, dog. I don't think that's neither say me. Because I could have really blasted it out. I don't think the cops and screenshot everything and they dropped everything on the stories.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, you could have. I could have done that. You could have done that to be like, am I the bad guy? Or you know what I'm saying? You feel what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06But no, I and even till this point, even dude, even homeboy is furious at me, I'm still keeping the G and keeping things quiet, keeping a lot of things that I should be saying to myself. If we're gonna be testing characters, bro, don't even play with me.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, see, I don't think you like, like I said, uh in in the case of him, I don't think you are all the way wrong as far as it's like. Doug, I'm not wrong at all. I mean, I just I say all the way wrong because feelings are hurt, and like I say, I pr I'm pretty sure he just felt like that group chat was just supposed to be sacred, I guess. But outside of that, um, I don't know, like, you you held him accountable for it. Like, you said on that part, it wasn't cool that he dropped that shit.
SPEAKER_06It wasn't cool, dog.
SPEAKER_07I think that's a lesson that needs to be learned. Like, if that's cool. Like, you're the type to do to do that, then. If you did it in a group chat with a bunch of moths, like it's no telling how far you would go with that. How far? I don't think you were wrong for saying anything like that. I'm sure that the police is not gonna go that far. But hopefully they'll learn a lesson from that and you know, keep like, it's it's a beautiful thing when a woman allows you to have them type of moments with her. So why would you want to share with a lot of people? Why would I? And then get mad when somebody else get witty. Like, honestly, you can't put stuff out like that and think that motherfuckers ain't gonna black.
SPEAKER_06They ain't about to be like, yeah, you know what I mean? You know what I mean? Or do what I did and share the story, and then here you are being the perpetrator of everything in the story. I would have never known about anything if you if your thumbs wasn't that loose and you try to just drop everything.
SPEAKER_07Loose thumbs is crazy.
SPEAKER_06Loose thumbs is nuts. And bro, and like again, you did not tell me directly. Yeah. And that just reminded me of another story, real quick, about my boy Fino Bambino. Shout out to him.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Love him still to this day, but like even he was kind of crazy. He looked like um okay. So last last year he was going through a personal situation with his uh, I believe now ex-wife. Oh man, sad to hear that. I know, sad to hear that.
SPEAKER_07I thought I seen their picture. I thought they was all in love.
SPEAKER_06Me too. So the ex-wife messaged me telling me, hey, you know, we're done. I'm like, oh dang, that sucks, man. Like, I was really rooting for you guys. XYZ, but hey, man, we uh I hope you know you guys both heal in time and move on, and everybody's happy.
SPEAKER_07I can hear now thoughts and prayers.
SPEAKER_06Thoughts and prayers. Guess what she did? She went and told Fino that I was trying to get at her. And guess what Fino did? Believed her.
SPEAKER_07You can literally show him where she hopped in your end.
SPEAKER_06No, and compared, and like no, and compared to me, a man who had like at that time, known him for like 10 plus years, never lied to him once about anything.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy.
SPEAKER_06He never caught me in a lie, never said a lie. I don't believe that. And why would you why would you believe someone who you yourself admit have lied to you time and time again?
SPEAKER_07He really divorced her. Or she divorced you, whatever.
SPEAKER_06Whatever the case may be, y'all ain't together because of the lack of trust, and you choose.
SPEAKER_07Maybe he was just lashing out. Because that's crazy work. Now, if he was do better, bro, you know good and well, he wouldn't do no junk like that.
SPEAKER_06Dog.
SPEAKER_07You would not do no junk like that.
SPEAKER_06To someone I've never been attracted to, never will be attracted to.
SPEAKER_07You already done been down that lane with my boy, like, y'all not married. That's sacred. Like, I ain't gonna be like, Like, that's crazy, man.
SPEAKER_06I'm looking at both these situations like dang, our friendship ended over jungle fever. Sad.
SPEAKER_07It's wild in these streets. Jamanja. All right, man. Oh man.
SPEAKER_06Now let's get to the show. Let's get it. Cause that's funny.
SPEAKER_04Let's go.

SPEAKER_06We're gonna get some potty right after this, man. We're gonna get to it, real quick, real quick, real quick, right. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, y'all. Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to yet another episode of the Night Like I'm the host. I'm your host of some of the artists alongside with a big star of the show, Big K, Big Tree, Chemistry is in the building, man. Shout out to everybody's listening right now.
SPEAKER_01Shout out to all the haters, shout out to all the lovers and everybody in between.
SPEAKER_06This podcast would not be it if it wasn't for y'all, man. Let you guys know that the thoughts, views, and opinions are for entertainment purposes only. Until it easy. Until it ain't. And I ain't mad at it. We're gonna keep it extra channel. Uh, brought to you by Empowered by Fueled by, sponsored by, created by Rood Music Entertainment and partnership with Kou H A L P Arcata, 94.7 FM Community Ford Radio, broadcasting live from the what? Cream Marine district here in Arcata. Yeah, man, shoot, we're gonna get to it, man. That was a good man. That's how I feel about fucking still dumbass Harold. Your boy dumb as hell. Alright, man.
SPEAKER_07Um run up on you in the street. Man, okay. Hey. Cause you know he's gonna be locked in on this one.
SPEAKER_06I mean, I really hope he learns and reflect, man, but we ain't talking about that right now. Man, we we good, man. That was the top of the show. Now it's time for the bulls. Yeah. All right, man. What's what's on our hearts and minds right now? What topic are we thinking about?
SPEAKER_07First of all, I just seen something that I gotta share. Okay, let's go. I don't even know why I said I seen this, but law, some things you gotta keep to yourself. Yep. So you know DJ Envy that be with Charlemagne the Gall Breakfast Club. Uh-huh. This man said his wife had to show him how to wash his book properly in the shower as a grown man.
SPEAKER_06How do you not know?
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_06I mean, there's a lot of things grown men don't hear. I get it.
SPEAKER_07You know, it's someone that, well, you know, it just the thought of it is like, she probably kept getting, he probably kept getting out the shower. She's like, it smelled like he just used the bathroom still. I don't understand. But why would you say that on air for all these people? I don't know. I just I just seen it and I'm just like, okay.
SPEAKER_06Man, I think that we are truly in the weirdest and weakest generation of men in history. Yeah, I think so. I really think so. Like, no, I really think so. Because again, the things that we are witnessing and seeing in real time in comparison to the generations before us, yeah, I mean, yes, it hasn't been a perfect run by any stretch of the means. But I'm in a mind growing up as a boy, like when we when we become men, the the rules are different, things are different, we have a sense of growth and maturity and leadership about us, right? And to see that not be the case with men who are in my age range, yeah, and men who are just like one generation before me, and the generation after me, what is going on here?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, the disconnect is real.
SPEAKER_06The disconnect is so real, because I'm trying to understand.
SPEAKER_07It's really because, you know, things have to be taught, things have to be passed down, and a lot of men, I can't speak for all men, but a lot of men aren't growing up with strong father figures or strong examples. So they go to the internet to learn, or, you know, they keep it all bottled in, and then when they let it all out, it's just an emotional reaction that is too big because they never let it out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_07So I do think that plays a part. We just gotta figure something out, though, because our boys, our men, they do need some help and direction and guidance, I feel.
SPEAKER_06They really do, man. And it's just like, you know, I've been blessed with, you know, I mean, again, not having a father in my life, but it still has some good figures to do. Yeah, that makes a difference in real life. In real life. Yeah. I'm looking at these old black men in their face, and I'm hearing every every drop of gem, every drop of. Every drop of crazy stuff that you know not to do. Not to do, right? Because they give you that too. They do. And it's just like, yo, man, it just like and just seeing their their friendships, right? Yeah. Last decade. I'm talking 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years. And they told me, man, the reason why their friendship is so strong, because they keep two things to themselves. What's going on in their pockets, that's important. And who's in their bed and whose bed they're in. They keep those two things on a lock and key. And I really feel like, dang, this generation, we do too much talking about that. We talk about what's going on in our pockets too much. We t and we pocket watch too much. The pocket watching is nuts. And we do the comparison to the pocket watching, and we feel the type of way that somebody, uh, somebody else is making more money than I do. You know what I mean? And the and the whose bed that we're in, and like in who's in our bed, we do uh clearly do more gossiping about that.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Than women do.
SPEAKER_07But that's because y'all always act like y'all didn't. The barbershop wasn'thing but a little gossip spot either. But the barbershop ain't like that no more. It's the barbershop. That's what I'm saying, though. Maybe we barbershop need to get back to that. I feel like that was a really sacred place. And I and I get to say the best of both worlds, because I used to get my hair done, but I also rock a lineup. And so being in the barbershop, I've heard some some gems, I've heard older men correct the younger boys when they were coming in. Exactly, coming in house. So, like, that needs to be brought back. Maybe barbershop meetings with men and something should be orchestrated or done.
SPEAKER_06Or just like an in-person type of thing. Like, let's not leave everything to the internet or on the internet, like again, oh yeah, we gotta do it.
SPEAKER_07Or ask questions. Like, if you don't really understand what's going on. For real. Or how you're wrong in the situation, but you know. I mean, honey, we just gotta hope for the the the best at this point and just love who loves you back.
SPEAKER_06I mean, no, no, no, no, no, no. We have to demand better from each other. Yeah. We have to like, you know, again, and not fold or crack or like, you know, retur or respond in a very immature fashion when we're getting called out on our stuff.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, you I mean, yeah, exactly. That's what I'm saying. You feel what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06Like, bro, like, like we we make jokes about women dodging accountability. I haven't seen a lot of men out here in this world dodging accountability left and right, too. And it's kind of nuts to me. Yeah, it's not a worse. Anything that I say or do, you can call me to the front and center and I'm gonna explain to you, hey, this is this is why, but hey, you're right, I did do that. Yeah. My bad. If I hurt feelings or if I insulted somebody, I apologize. However, I'm speaking from truth.
SPEAKER_07Your true.
SPEAKER_06My truth, my perspective, and it could be wrong.
SPEAKER_07I'm like even or it could just be from your perspective, which is how it starts off, but it's like that's why I always do like try to see it from other folks' way, because then it it really lets me know, like, okay, well, I seen it from their way, but it still doesn't change how I'm feeling about it. I see it. Or if I see it from their way and it changes how I feel a little bit, then I'm like, maybe I should take some back.
SPEAKER_06I really don't understand how much I'm by myself and how deep I look at things from everybody's perspective, even given the situation like we we talked about before the show started. I was really doing everything in my might to see things from a homie's perspective, right? And I get it. It's a group chat, supposed to be sacred.
SPEAKER_07Perhaps.
SPEAKER_06Perhaps.
SPEAKER_07It just depends. I mean, I think that I know. But he's some group chats aren't supposed to be sacred.
SPEAKER_06Some aren't, but it's clearly communicated against everybody in the group. Hey, yo, you know, anything that is said in here cannot leave the chat. Yeah. There was never that establishment. There again, I'm in four different group chats.
SPEAKER_07Has anyone else in that chat felt like you went wrong or said anything?
SPEAKER_06When I say everybody's quiet as a church mouse, everybody's quiet as a church mouse in that one. But in the other groups I've been in, when we first started the group, everyone talked about it. Hey, hey, and if anybody we are adding in, it's a new guy, let them know these are the rules.
SPEAKER_07Okay, and see that's what matters then. X, Y, and Z.
SPEAKER_06And I'm like, okay, cool. I've been invited in a couple group chats, and this and the the chest, other chest that I'm in, they was like, hey, yo, keep it in here.
SPEAKER_07So maybe with this chat that you're in and with everything happening, you should drop some ground rules. Going forward, I think ground rules need to be dropped because they weren't dropped in the beginning. I think you should do that because then that way, some some structure can be put into the city. Exactly. And then accountability though is still the thing.
SPEAKER_06Accountability, though, because in the other group chats that I'm in, right, we they're they're telling the business. You know what I mean? But like, you know what I mean? They're telling everything, just saying everything, right? But like, I'm in a group with like, you know, some older men, I'm in a group chat with some younger dudes, and I'm in a group chat with dudes my own age, and I got this group chat that's a little reasonable. Yeah, that one. Yeah. Right? And they all be like, yo, man, we're not dropping nudes in here.
SPEAKER_07I mean, I think that should just be a thing, though. Like, that should have been an unspoken spoken.
SPEAKER_06That should have been an unspoken spoken place. But I ain't little boys, no more. We're not little boys. Yeah. Even the younger dudes don't even, not even on that type of time. That's respectful. So that's respectful and stuff like that. So it's just like, you know, I get it if it's like, you know, if it's that laid out, but my my but my boy. Like, I'm not, and I'm not even an admin of that group. I'm not even the admin of that group. So the admin should be like, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_07So I feel it though. Like, you know, that's what I mean. I mean, I guess our men just they need guidance again, you know. They need guidance, man. But it's like to realize some mommy issues or something, because a lot of men, they like women until they don't. I'm telling you, they like them until they get, you know, whatever sexual things they want. And then after that, she's just not that interesting no more. They don't want to be around. Like, that happens all the time.
SPEAKER_06And that's crazy. And that and that is rooted to like some deep ass mommy issues. That's what I'm saying, though. But it's just like, and yo, it's crazy because I never really bought or subscribed to that. You feel what I'm saying? Like, I'm always like, no matter how left it goes, right? You can share a story, and all the stories that I've shared on this podcast aren't the most egregious stories I've been a part of. No. They're very light.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, they're very lighthearted.
SPEAKER_06Very much nothing burgers. Yeah. And it's crazy that people think that I'm like being salty or I'm hurt or X, Y, and Z. When I'm over here, like, it's not that deep. But hey, I I I'll play into it. I'll lean into it a little bit because it's a podcast. I'll lean into it. I'll be a little bit dramatic for sure. Right, right. But in real. A little extra. A little extra for sure. Because we're podcasting.
SPEAKER_07Don't get it twisted. Like, hey, that's what's going to happen. And it's going to happen going forward. Like, we're not, you know.
SPEAKER_06I'm pretty uh I don't know. I'll stop. I made a decision to exclude a group from my options. But most of my stories have been from those that optional group.
SPEAKER_07Just saying. We're not going to start just making up stories when we got real life happening. Because that's the thing about what we do. We bring our real life here with us. That's really true. We grow together. Yes, of course. I have people who tell me that they listen to it. And like literally, uh, one of my homegirls was telling me that was out in Portugal, you know, she's been going through a lot of things, and she was like, I listen to y'all podcasts, and because it makes me laugh, it makes me happy, it empowers me to push forward and keep going. And so we're growing together, and it resonates with them because it's real.
SPEAKER_06Dean, Dean, Dean, that is what we aim for here at the Mac Podcast.
SPEAKER_07You feel what I'm saying? We're not gonna like ever water it down too much.
SPEAKER_06We're not gonna water it down too much, man, and we might spice it up a little bit. But like I just wanna let people know, like, you know, when it comes to these little tips and these little stories, and you want to hold me accountable for it, you want to step into those seats stepping hind that mic and trying to call me. Make sure you're backed by three things. Don't no no. Make sure you're not emboldened by three things. Don't be emboldened by self-righteousness, don't be emboldened by ego, and don't be emboldened by pride.
SPEAKER_07You don't think you come off a little self-righteous?
SPEAKER_06Nope. You are hilarious. I come from straight logic, common sense, and facts.
SPEAKER_07Okay, they go that self-righteousness. But it's like a lot about just Huh Philosophy exists for a reason. True story. You know what I mean? We're philosophers. Exactly. So, you know, I just feel like, yes, it comes from that. That thing, them things matter. All those things are. Logic, common sense, and truth and facts. But everybody don't have logic. No. Clearly. Common sense ain't common. Clearly. And in this day and age, AI done messed up facts. Yeah. And people don't read or or comprehend or dig deeper to see things. Don't have the ability to research. So that's why you gotta meet people where they at something.
SPEAKER_06And do, and uh, people get mad at me for this podcast and don't even listen to the whole show.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, that's the thing. Okay, don't be listening to little clips and running with it. Because if you don't, you will, if you do that, you will never have the full context. You will never have the full context. Where the ending goes. Because it matters, you know, that doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_06Because if you're gonna get mad of a little clip or something like that, or you're or somebody out there just clipping a little segment that I said, like, the reason why the homie got upset, right? He sent me a little clip. I show you the clip that that, right?
SPEAKER_07And that was not the clip that you should have gone off of. It was more, but whatever. But just that one little clip didn't tell anything.
SPEAKER_06It wasn't it didn't tell the full story at all.
SPEAKER_07And like I said, I feel like we're gonna be able to.
SPEAKER_06Oh, and shout out to that homegirl who clipped it up though, and not only clipped it up but made it like a little uh post on Facebook calling me a princess. Love you.
SPEAKER_07I miss that. Damn.
SPEAKER_06Debbie's homegirl.
SPEAKER_07Oh, I miss that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but you know.
SPEAKER_07But if you're doing clips and stuff, can you go through and clip some more good stuff and send it to us? Because we with that. You know what I mean? You can even do some stuff to spark some. Kathy. Little rage bait, you know what I mean? Kathy. Kathy with a C. We're gonna do Kathy with a K. Kathy with a K. Oh, Kathy with a K.
SPEAKER_06Kathy.
SPEAKER_07Kathy.
SPEAKER_06Better Better clips next time.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, come on, come on with it. We love that.
SPEAKER_06We're gonna post it on Snapchat. Yeah. Make better clips. And we'll give you a shout out for it. And we will shout you out for sure. And if you want to, Kathy, you're welcome here on the show too. Um I don't know. I'll I'll I'll think about that. I'll think about that. They come in together, I guess. I guess.
SPEAKER_07Um what about, man? Look, I got a lot of I'm I've been on this entertainment news.
SPEAKER_06Let's get to it.
SPEAKER_07Cheyenne.
SPEAKER_06All right, now that's the one we need to talk about for sure. Oh quote unquote doctor.
SPEAKER_07Oh, you see, I did not say doctor. I I no longer say that. I call her by her name.
SPEAKER_06Isn't it funny that a few episodes ago, I hey, I I told y'all.
SPEAKER_07The way she's doubling down though, because they got the Netflix.
SPEAKER_06Double down, triple down, for sure.
SPEAKER_07She got these fake behind, uh, things behind her, even like, just stop doubling down on a lie. Like, what is the purpose?
SPEAKER_06Well, because again, marketing is paramount. When you're talking about it. But you're talking about helping mental health. Okay, yeah. And and again, from her behavior off camera and and what she says on camera, one can deduce that, yo, you're not a very good therapist or or you know me, or a good doctor, or, you know what I mean, you're a life coach pretending to be a doctor.
SPEAKER_07Man, look, I don't know. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06You don't need to be certified to be a life coach. You can share your experience and your theories and your perspective, and maybe that would help change or enlighten somebody. But when you're throwing it, I'm I'm Dr. King. I'm certified. I'm Dr. King. I can hop on him, hop on the camera and be like, yeah, I'm a doctor. Right. And say whatever you want. And say whatever I want. But can't back it up nobody. But can't back it up, not even in one hour.
SPEAKER_07Some dude coming out to Woodwork talking about he got a college that he opened up and she went there and they were able to work it around her time frame. I'm like, yo, boy, homie, homie, homie, homie.
SPEAKER_06You can't cape for that.
SPEAKER_07I mean, she's fine, bro. But I'm crazy.
SPEAKER_06You can't you can't cape for that.
SPEAKER_07You're not about to crack that.
SPEAKER_06You already protect yourself. Yeah, you ain't about to crack, homie.
SPEAKER_07At some point, somebody gotta hold her accountable for real.
SPEAKER_06But like, no, for real, it's gotta be like a problem. See, and that's why I try to tell you, man, pretty privilege is powerful. Pretty privilege is powerful. I'm trying to tell you, you could be the smartest in the room, but if you're the prettiest, you can get away with the city.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'll give you pretty privilege in her case because that's the only reason why. That's really what it is. That's all that is.
SPEAKER_06That's the reason why everybody ate up everything that she said, because she looks good and she speaks to me.
SPEAKER_07I don't think that's why everybody ate it up. I mean, we like I said before, I don't feel like why. But no vetting and no credentials. Who just jumps out there and says that there, and you know what? In the mix of me, if you're trying to make some money at the end of the day. In the mix of me saying this, I thought about like the uh the dude who said he was a dentist and was doing stuff in Atlanta and he really wasn't. So that 13-year-old dude? Yeah, like that was crazy, but people do just do that. But I like to think, no, and then I think that's why she got so far. No one would think you would jump out and say you're a psychologist and therapist and you're certified in this. Like these are words coming out of her mouth. Like, no one would think you would say all that and know you have none of that. She could have just jumped out there and just put her opinion out there and kept it moving.
SPEAKER_06And kept it moving, but nobody would really like paying attention to that because we have a lot of people out there in the world voicing their opinion and and and uh thoughts and progression. But then like they're gonna discredit it, right? Right. If you're if you're saying the same kind of views and opinions and and perspective, and you're saying my name is Dr. So-and-so, it just gets a different thing. People are gonna be like, okay, this is a doctor, but I don't see no degree. Yeah, we're smart weaknesses. But she's been on public Shannon Swab's show, Cam Newton's show, Joe Buddh's show.
SPEAKER_07But she's been on actual real mental health platforms.
SPEAKER_06And you're not a doctor. Yeah. You're just pretty and you're smart.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, you got some stuff to say. You've been through life. You know, be a life.
SPEAKER_06You've been through life, but like a if you listen to her perspectives, man, a lot of them seem to a a lot of them seem self-centered. Yeah, self-focused.
SPEAKER_07And a little bit of a lot of it. As albeit. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06As albeit.
SPEAKER_07So I just you know, I just want her to stop doubling down on it. Like, she should have stopped, but like I do. For the culture and be like, I messed up. That's what people do. But I don't want to be here.
SPEAKER_06People love to double down on things when they know they're in the dead. Deadest of ass wrongs. How many people that you have encountered in your real life who's been dead wrong, dead to rights, but they double down, triple down, quadruple down.
SPEAKER_07People do that. I mean, I know.
SPEAKER_06That's nuts to me. It doesn't make sense to me, though, right? That's nuts to me.
SPEAKER_07If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'm not going to double down on the way that's wrong.
SPEAKER_06I'm going to be like, oh. Well, that's that's what it is. Like, people could, like, you know, saying, go through this, even this situation I'm in, and be like, yo, sorry, you were wrong. You should not have been talking about that on the radio like that. I'm like, okay, why why wouldn't I? Why wouldn't I? Well, why wouldn't I not share a very weird experience to the people? It was a very weird experience. There was a lot of weird behavior. So I cannot speak on weird things that makes me feminine?
SPEAKER_01No, who said that made you feminine?
SPEAKER_06Oh girl. But you know what I mean? Like, but like that's crazy. I'm holding people accountable for the weird actions they actually did. And yet somehow I'm in the wrong because I spoke about it.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, and at the same time, see that doesn't make sense to me. That doesn't make sense. You know what I mean? I like I said, um Again, logic, common sense, and truth is what I operate about. But emotions are a thing. Yeah, agree. And that's another thing. Like, people's emotions do get caught up in things, and maybe they don't know how to exp ex what ex uh talk about it or express them or something, but I don't know, man. It's it's a it's a crazy time we're living in too, though. Because it's a crazy time we're living in. Emotion and logic, while they should go hand in hand, it's like they're getting misconstrued along the line somewhere. So that's scary. That's scary. That is very nice. But you know, just know that y'all, if you see Cheyenne out, she is nobody's doctor.
SPEAKER_06Nobody's doctor. Just call her. Hey, yo, C B. CB. C B. But no, like, people should not be like, you know, again, the scammers and boosters, bruh. Like, this is the era of scammers, and we have people in real life trying to scam. And I, again, what I said last time on this subject. Vet. Do your research. Really look into whoever you're on the screen, whoever comes across your screen. They're talking some stuff and they're saying, oh, I'm this, that, and the other. Do your research before you fully subscribe to whatever it is they're saying.
SPEAKER_07If you feel like they're speaking to you and you want to follow that to the end.
SPEAKER_06To the end. You have to do your research and vet.
SPEAKER_07Because you're going to end up crazy just.
SPEAKER_06Betting is important. The vetting process must come back. Yeah, yeah. Especially in this day and it has to, in this day and age, you got to verify everything.
SPEAKER_07Anybody can be anything without any credentials, any backing up to it. So definitely vet. Do your research.
SPEAKER_06Do your research, people.
SPEAKER_07It is fundamental, believe it or not.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, people don't like to read.
SPEAKER_07It's nuts. They got audiobooks now, so like get over it. Get over it. Yeah, for real. Okay, do some.
SPEAKER_06Do some research.
SPEAKER_07What you got on your mind though?
SPEAKER_06Um The versus. Oh, yeah. Of all verses.
SPEAKER_07Oh, not of all verses. Not of all verses.
SPEAKER_06That versus was a it was okay. It was a hot mess. It was a hot mess. But it was entertaining as all hell.
SPEAKER_07And I like the passing of the torch that uh the game did to you.
SPEAKER_06And I really think that wasn't a versus, that was more of a YG celebration show.
SPEAKER_07It was more like it was bloods and them coming together. Yeah, it's not coming together.
SPEAKER_06No, no, no. But like my whole thing is, bro, okay, so game, game to me, has always been mad underrated. Yeah, I agree. I believe he's always been super underrated as an MC, as a lyricist, as a performer. Yep. Because, you know what I mean, like game always had that. I mess with him, but I don't kind of feel too. When he was out with G Unit Man, he was like one of my favorite uh him and him and Lloyd Banks to me. Those were my favorite members of the group because they were like Young Buck, too. Yeah, yep, Young Buck was cool too. But that was like those are my two dudes. And game, man, again, documentary, documentary two, 2.5, documentary three, LAS. And he dropped my body. My dude has hits on hits on hits, but in that versus, he was not bringing out the hits.
SPEAKER_07And that's why I was like, he's doing a passing of the torch.
SPEAKER_06Because game could have I looked at game discography. My man has an abundance of heat.
SPEAKER_07That is going out that can stand the test of time with YG's joint. Like YG got some fire joints too. Don't give me wrong.
SPEAKER_06No, my G My Crazy Life is a classic album, for sure. Start to finish. Man, when my man down that whole bottle of tequila and started freaking on that mid girl.
SPEAKER_07I said, all right, somebody gotta take that boy.
SPEAKER_06They brought a whole bunch of whole bunch of mid to the stage and game and game got the best mid. And they was on the stage fighting over the best mid. The best mid. That's crazy work, bro. My man was dry humping and everything.
SPEAKER_07I'm like, oh, you freak um. Yeah, gang was he was twisted, boy.
SPEAKER_06Oh man.
SPEAKER_07Twisted. But it was good, it was good. It was a good show.
SPEAKER_06It was a good.
SPEAKER_07Now you know they're gonna have to do the cryp next. Who's versus Snoop and Who? Snoop and Who?
SPEAKER_06Who's the new Crip that's up that's coming up? Exactly. I'm gonna have to revisit that. Yeah. Okay, because I don't know. We'll think about that. We'll we'll we'll we'll think about that. But it was it was a hot mess, but you know, it was a very hot mess, but it was a good show. Like it was it was an entertaining show. Yo, why gang members always gotta rep their blocks and say the what set they from every five minutes? Like, bruh, we we we get it where you from. We heard it 10 times. We heard it fifth. I lost count how many times they had to shout out the old block and say, but I get it. It's a game gang. Is it gang gang? Maybe I'll be back. I'm not mad at it, but God dang, bruh. We heard you. We know where you're from. We know what set you rap, but god dang. Just say your name over and over.
SPEAKER_07Man, you might as well. But yeah, I don't know. That means that's their thing, though. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06What's your top five game songs, the game?
SPEAKER_07Top five?
SPEAKER_06Give me three that you really liked off the top of your head.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god. First of all. Uh I don't know the names of them, so I have to get the names. Okay. I'm not about to do this with you. You go ahead.
SPEAKER_06Standing on Ferraris for sure. On me with him and Kendrick. I love that.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, that one. Uh uh, let me full.
SPEAKER_06Like his are cool, like Hate It or Love It was good.
SPEAKER_07Dreams was good. How we do, I like it.
SPEAKER_06I like my life.
SPEAKER_07My life was good. My life was good. My life is good. I'm trying to go. Yeah, Dreams was good. You said Dreams, Dreams was good.
SPEAKER_06But for me, I'm gonna have to say standing on Ferraris on me because my dude was really rapping on those two. On me for sure, because he was on there with Kendrick. And yeah, if you're gonna be on there with Kendrick, you better start rapping your ass off for sure. And he did that. On me, I wanna say. God dang, there's two more I know. I wanna say he got so many. He got so many. You know what? I'm gonna have to come back on this one.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, that's why I'm like that's not an easy one. Like the game really is.
SPEAKER_06Give me three YG songs. We got three.
SPEAKER_07Uh what's the one with My Ann? Uh yeah, yeah, yeah. My N. My end. Uh, what's the one he said? I'm a gangbanger. Uh My Hood. My ink. My ink. People help you out with that.
SPEAKER_01People help all over it.
SPEAKER_07They know which one I'm talking about. Um, but yeah, my end, um Big Bang. Oh, yeah. I like Big Bang. I like Big Bang and F is it the one with Nipsey. FDT? FDT. FDT. Like that one too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Um, it's gonna be Really B. Mm-hmm. Again, man, any any track where Kendrick is on it, man, it just brings out something different between the the main artists that's on the record. Yeah, like the awesome. YG really, really got into his bag on um Really B. Um that one is gonna be Who Do You Love? I do like that one for sure. Right. And B P T.
SPEAKER_07Okay, I'm gonna do that. Did you hear it? Uh speaking of YG.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_07He dropped a song not too long ago called Tiffany. Excuse me, um, speaking about his, I guess, encounter with a transgender woman. Okay. Um, he tells the story about meeting Tiffany at the strip club, and um, you know, they kicked in a vibe, and then they ended up ending the night together when they found out that that was a trans and it got violent. Definitely made a song about that he's about to drop.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. So that's gonna be interesting.
SPEAKER_06That's gonna be interesting because dang, man, that I mean God.
SPEAKER_07But I, you know, I can I appreciate the honesty because it happens.
SPEAKER_06Because again, that's just that's just it just leads to a very nuanced conversation, a very layered conversation that uh we just gonna have to postpone for that. Because unfortunately, folks, we ain't gonna be here for too long because we have a big episode coming up.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, so like we had to prepare for tonight, but it needed to push back. So we just, you know, this is like a filler until then because filler because that one is gonna be good, boys.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, the next one we got coming up, man, is gonna be a good one. I'm gonna be on the hot seat. Yeah. Apparently. Listen, folks, there is no hot seat for me. Every seat I'm sitting in is cool, comfortable, and collected. Like I said, if you're gonna bring receipt, make sure you have logic, common sense, and facts.
SPEAKER_01Self-righteousness.
SPEAKER_06Because if you're talking out of self-righteousness, ego, and pride, you will lose to me. And you will accept that loss.
SPEAKER_07I'm gonna let you just sit there with it. Because I don't know. I'm gonna see what the. Hopefully, the one person can come still. I think she'll be dope on here.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, that's the one person we really want. Yeah, that's the one we really want. I haven't gone whole life. I don't know why the other one wants to come, but it's okay.
SPEAKER_07Um, because you tried it, but we ain't gonna get into that. Oh, oh, oh, oh, okay. You funny.
SPEAKER_06That? Okay, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. When it comes to that, I'd have said I I know exactly what you talked about. I'm gonna clear that up real quick. And she ain't got and she ain't got no no. I'm gonna clear it up if she ever comes here, but I'm gonna clear it up. Okay, yeah. That'll be it. And she will have no ammo because I know the ammo that she thinks she's gonna be.
SPEAKER_07I do want to, I do want to hear because I've I've been hearing from both sides of it. So I'm like, at some point it just gotta be in the middle. So I think that's why I said I think the next one.
SPEAKER_06Because, like, okay, but like when it comes to her, she I I I wanna say that she is sided from past experience. Right? Those past experiences were me and her from our younger days. Like I was like 24, she was like 21.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it was you saying that that's her karma. Okay, but from 21.
SPEAKER_06No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's not where I was coming from. That's not where I was coming from. That's what it seemed like, but that's not what it's coming from. I was coming from a personality trait of hers that's been remaining prevalent through these years. Oh. Okay.
SPEAKER_07So hold on to that, because I'm trying to get both of them over.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, so whatever she is on, she is wrong. Well, we that's why I say we're gonna try to get it. So, yeah, folks, I need y'all to really come in and tune in and lock in for that show. That's why this episode is gonna be a nice, cool, little breezy one. I got what I needed to say, and we covered the main topic I wanted to cover on. Before we go, LeBron and Philly. How are we feeling?
SPEAKER_07Man, that's such a good team. They got my boy JB over there. The four of the five is making me cry, dog. Look. I ain't gonna hold you. I I'm I'm a Celsius fan all day over there. We'll never change. All day, every day. But you know what? But I'm dipping my big toe over in Philly a little bit. I'm telling you the truth right now. I'm putting my big toe in Philly a little bit.
SPEAKER_06Listen, man.
SPEAKER_07Just for the season, because I think it's gonna be a good season for the whole.
SPEAKER_06I will never, ever, ever betray my green and white. I bleed green and white. I'm still gonna rock with my green and white next season, but I'm gonna tell you what. Yeah. If Philly wins the title, I'm not mad at it. And they and they beat us to get there, I ain't too mad at it because I already know what happened.
SPEAKER_07That's what Chick is. Because that's what made Bryan go to Philly when he seen that JB was over there. J Dog, listen, man. He said that's a litified.
SPEAKER_06It was JB, Tyrese, and VJ. That's like uh Dog, if you're running the point for those three, my God. Yo, they're about to be they about to put up a hundred thirty plus points a night. They got 34, 34 televised games, and trust and believe. I'm watching every single one.
SPEAKER_07I'm pulling up.
SPEAKER_06Bro, it's like and the narrative is that LeBron is joining a super team. Mind you, this Sixers team has never made it past the second round. Yeah. The last time they won a championship was 1983. Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_07That might be a this might be another anomaly season then. What super team are we talking about?
SPEAKER_06They got a injury prone center who will be lucky to make it to the postseason.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_06And to the postseason, I listen. If I'm the Sixers, I'm telling Joelle, hey, yo, yo, I play like 40 games during the regular season. You know? Just so you know, let's be safe with you. You know, let's play play a few games in October, a few games in December, a few games in November. A few games in January. Then we're gonna wrap you up a little bit past All-Star weekend, just a little bit. And then when the playoff time, you should be good to go. Yeah. If I'm six weeks management, that's what I'm telling you. That's how you make it. Because we cannot have you starting every single game from the jumper. No, that's how you mean. That's not going to happen. That's not happening. Something is going to happen to you. Your pinky toe might get chopped off. Who knows? Ain't no tailing. Cannot have you. So if we got a healthy Joel, a LeBron still being LeBron, JB, Tyrese, and BJ. Oh, but they're bench. Yeah. I'm looking at, and you know what I saw. You know what something I saw that kind of like shed a tear in my eye, kind of broke my heart at the same time. What?
SPEAKER_02They got Drew Holiday. Drew Holiday. You want to go to the Sixers, bruh. And that's the same Drew Holiday that got us. R Chip.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, like I said, I got my big toe over there a little bit. I'm always. I might have a whole foot in here. Yeah, I know. I'm inching, cuz you see I ain't pulled my pinky, I put the big toe. Because I already know I think the season's gonna be interesting.
SPEAKER_06It's gonna be great because we got a lot of new design. We got the snow time in LA. Oh, yeah, I know, man.
SPEAKER_07It's snowing in LA.
SPEAKER_06It's snowing in LA. So I'm like, it'll be funny to be in LA in Philly. That'd be a hilarious farm, but I ain't gonna go that far. That ain't gonna happen. It's snowtime in LA. That's not gonna happen. Nah. Austin Reed is not gonna get y'all.
SPEAKER_07I think uh San Antonio will come back with a vengeance this year. We shall see. They got the same squad, right? They ain't got no same. Yeah, no, they ain't really changed too much.
SPEAKER_06It might be OKC might be.
SPEAKER_07They got a chip on their shoulder too, so you know.
SPEAKER_06That's gonna be an interesting season. We just gonna be in and out of it. We're in the east, and the east has gone infinitely better. Yeah. Kawhi back to the Raptors. The Magic are doing well. The Hawks are coming through. The Hawks, no, the Hawks are making moves, okay? The Heat with Giannis and Bam.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, the Heat is gonna be interested in the wild.
SPEAKER_06I don't know how my Celtics are gonna make it through the East.
SPEAKER_07I don't know, bro. That's why I said I think this, like we said, it's gonna be a rebound.
SPEAKER_06I don't know, and I'm highly nervous. We're gonna tune in though. I used to be so comfortable with the Celtics these past five, six years. I mean, we've been spoiled. I feel like we've been mass sported spoiled. We only got one championship. I don't know how spoiled we're gonna.
SPEAKER_07That's what we mean with that. But we've been mass sport.
SPEAKER_06We've always made conference finals appearance, finals appearance, and the championship and all that stuff. Going to the second seed in the East last year. But we got beat by who? Philly. Disgusting. Um, ugh.
SPEAKER_07Now we're about to see this again. Oh god, Braun, I know, that's why I said I think I feel like Philly finna go crazy though. Because Braun going, he's trying to go with a ring. That's like his thing. He's leaving with a ring.
SPEAKER_06He's leaving. That's like, bro, he's Braun is leaving with ring. He's like, yo, I'm only getting paid $8 million. This is chump change to me.
SPEAKER_07That makes him play even harder. Because now he can just be the best player he wants to be playing. He can do whatever he wants to do.
SPEAKER_06He can do whatever he wants to do. And the fact that we have this dude in his 24th, about to be 20, he's about to play 25 years in the NBA. It's never hurting.
SPEAKER_07But he's smart. He's 45.
SPEAKER_0645 is good. No, no, 25 years. It's a good time. It's a good, you've been playing basketball for a quarter century. Right. I've been defending this dude for 25 years as a Celtics fan. That is nuts to me.
SPEAKER_07That's so wild.
SPEAKER_06And these puddings and these Jordan fans and these Curry fans that's been throwing me fits for 25 years.
SPEAKER_07Ain't Draymond born in Philly, too.
SPEAKER_06No, Draymond's beside the Warriors ain't gonna do nothing, dog.
SPEAKER_07I knew that. I was like something about that.
SPEAKER_06The Warriors had the same squad they had last year. They made zero acquisitions this offseason. So they just all then Steph, Steph, Steph, Steph, come to Boston. Yeah, all man.
SPEAKER_07We will love you over here. Come where you need to be at.
SPEAKER_06Come to Boston, man. We'll give you Peyton Pritchard uh a few number one, a few first round picks. Let's come on. Come on, though. Hey, man, go to state ain't doing nothing. You already did it in the goals. Yeah, you already did it. Like, what else can you do? What can you do? Come to the east, man. We need you. We need you. But like, no, the rumors are saying that he's about to he ain't happy.
SPEAKER_07He ain't happy. I mean, would you blame though? They're not even building nothing around him to push him for it. Absolutely. To like excite him.
SPEAKER_06Well, you know. Yeah, man. But it's gonna be gonna be a good season, man. Shout out to all the offseason changes and shout out to Bron, man. I hope you I hope he wins. I hope he go out on top, dog.
SPEAKER_07I mean, for real, though, I mean I thought honestly. I'm no hater at all. I would love to see that. I'm I'm I'm him leaving with a ring. I think.
SPEAKER_06I'm not a Braun sexual, but LeBron James is my favorite player. Yeah, he is your favorite player. But you've never ever swayed from that. Never swayed from that. That's my favorite player.
SPEAKER_07Celtics are my favorite team. Say favorite team. Obviously, my favorite player.
SPEAKER_06But LeBron is my favorite player of all time. He's number one in my book. Yeah. In a lot of people's books, Jordan's number one. And that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_07I think Jordan.
SPEAKER_06It's 1A1B. For me.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'm about to say I don't think it's a good one. It's one A1B different time. Yeah, it's one A.
SPEAKER_06It's two different timelines and everything. And these dudes my age be praising Jordan. I'm like, bro, you're younger than me. You didn't even watch Jordan play. Right.
SPEAKER_07Jordan would not be happy with the way that this game is played. Oh, absolutely not.
SPEAKER_06Real quick before we get out of here, man. I'm gonna tell for those who are out there be like, oh, Asad is always on his feelings on the podcast. I'm gonna tell you what I'm in my feelings about. Oh Lord. I get in my feelings when I look into my bank account and I see a number there I don't like I don't like, amen. I get deep into my feelings then. Amen. I get deep into my feelings when I see the Celtics choke another playoff series. Amen. Get deep in my feelings. I get deep in my feelings when I see the Ravens choke a playoff game. Y'all formerly the Cowboys. I do not get in my feelings about it. But let me take that back. I get it. I get in my feelings when I lose a friendship with another brother. That hurts a little bit. You know what I mean? Because as black men, man, we gotta like at least.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, keep the brotherhood, you know. And I I I honestly feel like it shouldn't be um over friendship-wise. It shouldn't be, but you know, if it is what it is, it is what it is.
SPEAKER_06If it is what it is, it is what it is. But it's just like, dang, man, I uh that's just that's that just that gets me out.
SPEAKER_07It's okay to hit refresh in any type of relationship, I'm learning. True story. You ain't gotta um control alt-delete, but sometimes a refresh is needed.
SPEAKER_06Hey man, but you know, some people that takes uh maturity, yeah, that takes growth, that takes accountability, that takes uh listening to understand rather than listening to argue. Yeah. So we'll see about that. Anything else on your mind, real quick?
SPEAKER_07No, I think I'm pretty good. Um you know, make sure that we treat each other good as best we can. Anybody that you call a person in your life shouldn't feel like a job. Um, yeah. And life is beautiful.
SPEAKER_06Life is friggin' beautiful.
SPEAKER_07All right, shout out to this uh full moon coming in energy renewal. Like it's supposed to be like a renewed energy moon. So if you've been feeling like a lot of things that you thought you, you know, needed in your life that you know doesn't serve you anymore, it's probably being recycled, reused, and removed. And that's all right.
SPEAKER_06I agree with that. I agree with that, man. All right, y'all, man. We we we we're out of here, man. Thank you for joining us. This is oh, oh, this is Mike's attitude and knowledge. This is music, art, and culture, and this is making audio classics. Thank you for joining us on another episode of the Mac Podcast. I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy talking to y'all. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and I guarantee that you are an ours. And a word to the wise, don't let wins be the relief and losses be the tragedy. What is simple, what is easy, are rarely the same. A wise man can play the fool, but a fool can never play the wise man. And last but not least, no amount of money in the world has ever bought you a second of time. So spend yours wisely. We are out of here, man. Next week, huh? Hey, hey, hey, hey, next week, man.
SPEAKER_07Nobody ducking and dodging.
SPEAKER_06No running. No running. You know what I mean? I said your name too many times in this podcast.
SPEAKER_07And I've been ready. I mean, I I'm tired. I've been ready. The seat is real cool over here. Oh, God. I better bring the heat when she called y'all. I thought I really put it in the middle. This seat is so cool over here. We're gonna make that happen though. We're gonna stay on it.
