Join us as we welcome Anshu Gupta, the visionary co-founder of Goonj and the man known across India as the Clothing Man. In 1999, Anshu left a promising corporate career to address a glaring gap in development work: the basic need for clothing. Along with his wife Meenakshi, who co-founded Goonj, they started with just 67 items of clothing from their home.

Over the past 24 years, Goonj has grown into a transformative force impacting thousands of communities across 27 states, addressing issues from water and sanitation to menstrual hygiene, education, and disaster response, redefining the culture of giving and disaster preparedness in India.

Anshu's journey is marked by numerous accolades, including the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award. His latest initiative, ‘Gram Swabhimaan,’ focuses on restoring dignity and self-respect to marginalized communities. Beyond their work with Goonj, Anshu and Meenakshi are celebrated speakers at global forums like TED and the World Economic Forum.

Anshu is also a poet, photographer, and the host of ‘Adda with Anshu.’ Their storytelling and innovative approach to social issues continue to inspire and mobilize action.

Tune in to hear Anshu Gupta's incredible journey and insights on making a tangible difference in the world.
