We shouldn’t have to be extraordinary to be recognized and acknowledged, yet despite countless examples of impact and influence, so many of the stories of racialized people in Canada’s history have been omitted in our education curriculum. Cinde Adegbesan, Nicole Dodd and Pam Tzeng are working to change that for current and future generations of our province's children by calling on the Minister of Education to alter the curriculum and address racism in schools across Alberta through their work on the Alberta Antiracism Education Advocacy Initiative.
