Straight to the Point was founded by Zainab, Latifah, and Hadja—three young Black Scottish women passionate about representation, cultural identity and community empowerment. Having grown-up in Scotland and experienced first-hand the lack of visibility for ethnic minority voices, they created this platform to be the change they wished to see.
M I S S I O N
Our mission is simple: to amplify the voices of Black and ethnic minority communities in Scotland. Through story telling, dialogue and cultural celebration, we create a space for those under represented to be seen, heard and valued.
V I S I O N
We envision a Scotland where every young person, regardless of background, feels represented, empowered and connected. By centring Black Scottish identity, we aim to challenge norms, spark honest conversations and build a more inclusive cultural landscape.
