Throughout the Gospels, there are moments where Jesus spoke strongly to the Pharisees and religious leaders. These moments were not simply about criticism, but about calling attention to hypocrisy, pride, and the difference between outward religion and a sincere heart before God.

In this episode, we reflect on the moment when Jesus rebuked the Pharisees and what this teaches us today. His words remind us that faith is not just about appearances or traditions, but about humility, sincerity, and a genuine relationship with God.

Sometimes these passages challenge us to look inward and ask ourselves if we are living out the heart of what Jesus taught.

Take a moment to listen and reflect on what this message might reveal about faith, integrity, and spiritual growth.

Jesus rebukes the Pharisees. And as he spake a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him, and he went in and sat down to meet. And when the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that he had not first washed before dinner. And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter, but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also? But rather give alms of such things as ye have. And, behold, all things are clean unto you. But woe unto you, Pharisees, for ye tied mint and roux and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment in the love of God. These ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Woe unto you, Pharisees, for ye love the uttermost seats in the synagogues and greetings in the markets. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. So I have read Luke chapter 11 verses. Yeah, it's a thunderstorm my side, but verses 37 through 44. As always, you can leave the word pray or prayer in the comment section below or in the DM, and I will send you a prayer request form where you can send me your prayer that you've been praying to God, and we can pray on it together.
