Our homes are meant to be places of peace, rest, and safety. Yet sometimes we may feel concerned about the pressures, worries, or challenges that can affect our households and families.
In this episode, we take a moment to pray for God’s protection and covering over our homes. Prayer can be a powerful way to invite peace, comfort, and a sense of spiritual reassurance into the spaces where we live.
This short prayer is meant for anyone who wants to pause, reflect, and ask for God’s presence to surround their home and the people within it.

You need God to cover your home. Well, let's pray about it. Father God, we thank you so much for who you are in our lives. Lord, we need you to cover our home, God. Cover our sanctuary, cover the place where we lay our heads, God, the place that we raise our children, the place that we come in and commune, Lord, when all the chaos has gone on in the world. The one place we take comfort in, God, to find you, to talk to you, knowing that you are here with us. Lord, we ask that you just cover our home, God, from the front to the back, Lord, up down each and every door, each and every window, Lord, each and every room, Lord, each and every place throughout our home, Lord. We're asking you to cover it right now under the blood of Jesus, allowing no demonic energies, no person, no thing to be able to come in and disrupt the flow, God. Lord, we're asking that you put a hedge of protection around us, Lord, as we enter into that door, Lord. May you wash away all the cares of the world, everything that has gone on. The home be a place that we find refuge in. May it be a place that we just come and lay our heads down. We leave all the outside noise there where it's at on the outside of that door, on the other side of the door, Lord. We leave it there and we walk into this place that we have created, a place that you have given us, a place that we share, God, with our loved ones. No one be able to come and disrupt that, Lord. We're asking you to cover us all inside a home and outside of home, Lord. We cover each and everything, God, under this roof, Lord, knowing that it is all protected by you, Lord. But we are not attached to things, God. But we just want this place to be a place of rest, God, that our family could come in and we can live out our years here, Lord. We just come in and just be at rest and be at peace, Lord, knowing that you have got us covered, Lord. And may no amount of anybody, no amount of hell be able to disrupt it, be able to come in and shake up anything, God, because we know that you are our covering, you are a hedge, and we know that you will forever keep us in perfect peace. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name we pray, amen and amen. Always remember just to cover your home and go around and anoint it. If you got some anointing oil, go and just anoint the door post, hallelujah. Because we remember the story in the Bible now, how they anointed it, hallelujah, and they was passed over in Jesus' name. So make sure you do that if you haven't already done it. Okay, and trust and believe God. Now we attach to things, but we trust and believe that God will keep us covered in and out of our home, right? In Jesus' name. All right, you be blessed.
