Welcome and Celebrating 100 Episodes

Billy Boss

Welcome back to the Billy Boss Show and well well wow. Today is no ordinary episode. In fact, today we are celebrating 100 episodes of truth, of healing, growth, self-worth and transformation. 100 episodes of raw conversations, monologues and dialogues. 100 episodes of rising through the pain. 100 episodes of choosing courage over hiding, of healing over pretending, and certainly love over fear. And honestly, what a joy it has been. Now many of you would know that this show was born from lived experience, from heartbreaks, from healing, from the moments that tried to break me or almost break me, and from the deep decision to turn pain into purpose, into power, into mission. And now here we are, celebrating this incredible milestone together. So whether you've been here with me from episode one or this is your very first time listening to Billy Boss Show, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for being part of this moment. Thank you for showing up for yourself and thank you for being part of a community that is choosing truth, that is choosing freedom, that is choosing confidence, that is choosing deep self-love and certainly self-worth. And for some reason, I am a little bit emotional. It's a huge thing for me. We also started this journey with boss confidence. Now we are Billy Boss show, and who knows where this will take us. But the best part of this all is that the focus is always you. Your journey of transformation and growth. Your building blocks of confidence, you returning to yourself, you uncovering the truth, who truly you are, you finding out how amazing you are and how deserving you are. That is the main focus of me being here. So this hundredth episode is very special. It's a celebration and at the same time it's also reflection. But most importantly, it's a reminder that healing is possible, that growth is possible, and the life that you dream of is so possible. So I want you to take a deep breath. Certainly, I need the deep breath right now, so let's take the deep breath. And I'm inviting you to open your beautiful hearts, as always, and let's celebrate this powerful moment together. Imagine learning to truly trust and believe in yourself. Imagine rising above self-doubts and knowing deep down that you are enough exactly as you are. Now imagine showing up as your most authentic self, the person you were born to be. If you're ready to be, do, and have more, more love, more joy, more laughter, both personally perfectionally, you are in the right place. I'm your host, Billy Boss, and you're listening to the Billy Boss show. You know, when I started this show, I was terrified. And yes, I'm using here catastrophising language. In fact, I also do have an episode on catastrophising language that we might use and what to do to reframe. However, I'm now aware of it. But honestly, when I started this journey off having my own podcast, I was terrified. I remember thinking, who am I to do this? Who am I to speak about healing when I've been so

The Life You Dream of Will Not Meet the Version of You Hiding

Billy Boss

broken? Who am I to teach or share about confidence when I've spent so much of my life being afraid, afraid to show up, to speak up, to be seen? Who am I to say anything valuable? Who am I to empower anyone to be and do and have better being so imperfect? Who am I to speak with a stutter and being dyslexic? So it was all about who am I to do this? I was really in a deep doubt and questioning my own abilities and my own self worth. But I've learned something profound over these hundred episodes and I want to share it with you today. Hear me out. The life that you dream of want me the version of you that's hiding. And I'll repeat this again. The life you dream of want me the version of you that is hiding. And I didn't start this podcast because I had it all figured out. In fact, I started it because I was done pretending that I did. I was done with pretending, showing up in a form that it was not true to me. So here is what hundred episodes have taught me about healing, about confidence, about self-worth. And I want you to really hear this because this is the medicine or one type of a medicine. So lesson one healing

Healing Is Not Linear, But It Is Possible

Billy Boss

is not linear, it is possible. It's very possible. Now, if you're in a season where healing feels a little bit slight to you, where you've maybe taken two steps forward and then three steps back, where you maybe thought that you were past something and suddenly it comes roaring back at you. That's not a failure. This is the journey. And welcome to my world. How many times I've taken two, three, five steps forward, fallen back ten. That's not a failure. That's the journey. Now, over these hundred episodes, I've heard from so many men and women who thought that one setback meant they would lose all the progress. That one difficult day meant they were broken again. One moment of fear meant they'll never heal. But here's the truth that I have learned. Healing isn't a straight line. It's a spiral. And at times it can be a huge spiral. You don't go from broken to whole. That would be a great pathway to go, but you don't go from broken to whole. You go from broken to aware, from aware to willing, from willing to choosing, from choosing to changing. And sometimes you circle back, not to the beginning, but to a higher understanding of yourself.

Your Past Explains You, But Does Not Define You

Billy Boss

So every setback is just your soul asking you to go a tiny bit deeper, to understand yourself more, to love yourself more frequently. So if you are struggling today, if you feel like you're moving backwards, let me just remind you that you are not. You are actually becoming more aware of what needs to heal. And awareness is where transformation begins. So never give up on yourself, not when it's hard, not when it's slow, not when you can't see the progress yet. Never give up on your amazing, beautiful self. That will be for my lesson one. Lesson two. Your past may explain you, but it certainly does not define you. I have shown up so many times in my life where I felt that my past defined me. I was ashamed, I was fearful, and that's why I was hiding. But remember that your past may explain you and why do you do and show up the way you do, but it does not define you. So I was born in Serubia, raised in Bosnia, and I carried trauma, shame, and a deep belief that I wasn't enough. So for many, many years I thought that my past was my destiny. I thought that the pain that I experienced was proof of who I was, which was broken, damaged, betrayed, and beyond repair. But then one day it hit me. My past didn't make me who I am today. My response, on the other hand, to my past is what makes me who I am. Over a hundred episodes I've learned this applies to every single person listening right now. Whether you've experienced trauma, heartbreak, rejection, loss, or simply the weight of believing the

Self-Worth Is Something You Remember

Billy Boss

wrong thing about yourself, your past is not your prison. In fact, it's your curriculum. You are not your parents' mistakes, you are not your ex's abandonment, you are not your failures, you're not the things that people said about you when they didn't understand you. You are the woman who is choosing right now to rise above it all. And you are the woman brave enough to look back and say, This happened to me, but it will stop now. It will not happen through me. I will not pass this pain forward. I will heal it. Now that is who you are. Not what happened to you, but what you are choosing to do about it. The lesson three that I've learned through my hundred episodes is the self-worth is not something you earn, it's something that you remember. So this one changed almost my entire life, and I do believe that it will change yours. Certainly it can change. So for so long, I thought self-worth was something that I had to achieve, that I had to earn it, that I had to be perfect enough, successful enough, maybe thin enough, looking some certain way enough or good enough. I thought when I build my business, then I will be worthy. When I find the right partner, then I will be worthy. When I finally get it right, then I will believe in myself. But that's a lie that most of us have been told, or that we are holding on to that. When I do this or when I achieve that, that's when I'm going to be worthy. And here's what I've learned over a hundred episodes of deep conversations, research, my own transformation, that your self-worth was never given to you by the world. And it was never taken away from you by the world either. You

Telling the Truth Is Where Freedom Begins

Billy Boss

were born worthy. You were born enough. You were born with inherent value that has absolutely nothing to do with your achievements, it has absolutely nothing to do with your appearance, it has absolutely nothing to do with your relationships or your bank account. The problem is that somewhere along the way the world told you otherwise. And you believed it. But self-worth isn't something that you build. It's something that you remember, it's something that it's part of you, it's something that you do reclaim. And no one can take away your self-worth. Every time you choose yourself over people pleasing, you are remembering your worth. Every time you speak your truth, even when your voice is shaken a little bit, you are reclaiming your worth. Every time that you say no to something that doesn't serve you, you are honoring your worth. And every time you love yourself fearlessly, exactly as you are, you are remembering that you were always enough. So stop waiting to be worthy because you are already worthy. The work isn't to become worthy, it's to believe that you always have been. So that's for my lesson three. Lesson four that I have learned through this journey is telling the truth is where the real freedom begins. This is where my truth framework of transformation came alive. I will never forget the moment when I decided to stop hiding. I was tired of pretending, tired of performing, tired of being the version of myself that everyone else needed me to be but me. And when I finally told the truth about my past, about my pain, about my mistakes, and about who I really was beneath the mask, something extraordinary happened. I became free. And I'm inviting you to become free. So over a hundred episodes, a lot of coaching, a lot of mentoring, I've watched this happen again and again. Women sharing their deepest truths, women owning their stories, women saying the things they've been afraid to say for years. And do you know what happens? They heal,

Small, Brave Choices Build Confidence

Billy Boss

they transform, they rise. Because the truth is the antidote to shame. Let me say that again. The truth is the antidote to shame. Shame thrives in secrecy, it survives in silence. But the moment you speak it, the moment you own it, the moment you say it out loud to another human being, it loses its power over you. So the truth isn't always easy. It's raw, it's messy, and it can hurt. But it's always where freedom lives. And if you feel this rawness, if you feel this messiness, if you feel hurt by saying the truth, welcome to my clubs. But this is where freedom lives. And I'm telling you this right now. The version of you the world needs is not the perfect version, it's the real version. Who truly are you? It's the version willing to be seen, the version brave enough to be wonderable, the version honest enough to say I didn't have it all figured out. That's the version that changes lives. That's the version that inspires others to do the same. And with that, welcome to my lesson five. The version of you that you dream of becoming is built through small brave choices. Here's the hint small brave choices. How many of us would be all or nothing? I'm just reaching for high. I'm just reaching for something big. I'm just reaching for something that's out there that I can't really even think through properly. Here's something that I want you to be real honest about. I didn't build this show because I woke up one day as a polished, perfect, confident podcast host. In fact, it was all opposite. I build this show by making one small brave choice. And then another one. And then another one. So the choice to show up even when I was scared, the choice to speak, even when my voice shook, or even when I could not put sentence together. Sometimes I would show up and I would even have my framework for episode. And I'll just go over and over and over, and it took me sometimes 10, 15, sometimes 20 times to just make that full sentence. But I showed up. The choice to be real even when it felt hard, the choice to keep going even when no one was watching. So just making these small brave choices. So 100 episodes later, this show exists because I never gave up on my dream. Was it perfect? No. Was it polished? Never. Did I always have my confidence present? No. And I'm talking to you right now because I want you to know that your dream is not waiting for you to be perfect. It's waiting for you to be brave

Billy Boss

and show up. You don't need to see the entire staircase. You just need to take the next step and then next step. You don't need to have it all figured out. I never did have all figured out. Day to day I'm figuring it out, but you just need to be willing to figure it out as you go. And you don't need to be ready. You just need to decide that ready is something that you become through the action, not something that you wait for. Now the woman you dream of becoming isn't some magical version of yourself who appears one day. She is built through small choices. She's built through daily decisions to believe in herself a little bit more than maybe yesterday. She's

Keep Going, You Are Becoming

Billy Boss

built through investing in herself to show up for herself. She is built through honoring herself. And every time you're choosing growth over comfort, you are building her. Every time you're choosing honesty over hiding, you are building her. And every time you're choosing love over fear, guess what? Again, you are building her. Every time you choose yourself, you are building her. You are building you. And let me just remind you that she is worth every brave choice it takes. There is so many more lessons that I can share with you. But I chose and I picked these five lessons that for me in my reflection stood out so much. So healing is not linear, but it is possible. Your past may explain you, but it does not define you. Self-ruit is not something you earn, it's something that you do. Telling the truth is where real freedom begins. Boom. And last but not least is the version of you that you dream of becoming is built through small, brave choices. So as we celebrate hundred episodes, I want to say this to you. If you're in a season where healing feels slow, my friend, keep going. Keep going. You are becoming. If you're carrying the weight of your past, put it down. It's not your identity, that's your story. And you get to decide what happens next. You are deciding next chapter of your life. How is that going to be for you? Now, if you've been waiting to feel worthy, stop waiting. You already are. Right now, exactly as you are where you are, you are worthy. Now, if there is a truth that you've been afraid to speak, speak it. Speak it. Say it out loud. Share with someone. Freedom is on the other side of that vulnerability. And if you're not quite sure who to share your truth with, please invite me on that journey. I am here for you. And if you have a dream, if there is something in your beautiful heart that's been whispering to you, do not give up on it. Not when it's hard, not when it feels impossible, not when you can't see how it will happen yet. Don't give up. I didn't give up on my podcast. I didn't give up on this incredible journey. And look where we are now. You don't know where your brave choices will lead you. But I promise you this the life you dream of is waiting for the version of you willing to fight for it. So choose healing, choose truth, choose yourself, choose courage, and choose to never ever give up on your dream because you're worthy of everything you've imagined and more and more and more.
