NOW 002 - Be like the flowers
Welcome to Nuggets of Wisdom (N.O.W.) where I share short insights, thoughts, and perspectives -- little nuggets that are helping me in the hopes they'll enrich your life in some way. 🥰

Flowers don't choose to open or close based on who walks by.
They boldly show themselves without caring who’s looking.
If that makes someone sad or upset, too bad. The flower doesn’t care.
The flower stands up tall and shines brightly anyways.
If you’re dimming your light to make others comfortable then you are doing them a disservice.
By choosing to shine bright, by choosing to be your FULL self, you may just inspire them to shine brightly too.
And if they get upset, it’s because you are shining a light on the fact that they are dimming themselves to fit in.
Keep your light on.
Be like the flowers and show yourself in full bloom, regardless of who walks by. Unapologetically.
