Have you ever asked yourself "who even am I anymore?" Whether life threw you a curveball, you're stuck in survival mode, or you're exhausted from trying to be everything to everyone, today's reflection on Ephesians 2:10 offers powerful clarity about your true identity.

Diving into this transformative verse, we discover what it truly means to be "God's masterpiece" and why this description matters so much for our daily lives. The world constantly tries to define us through external factors—our jobs, relationships, appearance, or past mistakes—but Scripture reveals a much more profound truth about who we really are.

The phrase "created anew in Christ Jesus" isn't just beautiful language; it's a revolutionary statement about your worth and purpose. When we understand we're designed on purpose, with purpose, and for purpose, it fundamentally changes how we navigate life's challenges. You'll be encouraged to silence the competing voices that attempt to define you and instead embrace the liberating truth that your identity isn't something you earn—it's something you walk in.

This episode offers more than just spiritual comfort; it provides practical insight for reclaiming your God-given identity when you feel lost or forgotten who you really are. Remember, you're not truly lost—you're just being reintroduced to who you've always been in Christ. Listen now to find clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose as you embrace your identity as God's masterpiece.

Today is Day 131, walk in Identity. We'll be in Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 10, from the New Living Translation. Hey, there, it's Sunday again. Thanks for coming back for Weekends with Lauren. Let's get honest for a second. Have you ever asked the question who even am I anymore? Maybe life threw you a curveball, maybe you've been stuck in survival mode, or maybe you're just tired of trying to be everything to everyone.

Speaker 2:

Ephesians 2, verse 10, says for we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. That word masterpiece, it gets me every single time. It means God didn't just tolerate me. He designed me on purpose, with a purpose and for a purpose. The world will try to define you by what you do, who you date, how you dress or what you've done wrong. But your real identity, it's not found in labels likes or your latest mistake. It's found in Him. So if you've forgotten who you are, let God remind you. You are His, you are chosen and you are handcrafted and set apart. You don't have to earn your identity, you just have to walk in it. Let's pray, god. Remind me who I am, not who I've become under pressure, but who you say I am. Help me silence the lies and walk boldly in your truth. In Jesus' name, amen. Now listen to me. In Jesus' name, amen. Now listen to me. Don't forget you're not lost. You're just being reintroduced to who you've always been, in Christ. I'll see you next weekend. That's all for now.
