Day 140: Walk in Perseverance

Today is Day 140, walk in Perseverance. From Hebrews, chapter 12, verse 1, from the New Living Translation. Not every step in this walk will feel exciting. Some steps will feel like climbing uphill, other days you're standing still in the middle of a storm. But Hebrews 12.1 says let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. That's perseverance Staying in it when you're tired, trusting him when nothing is changing, and showing up even when you don't feel like it.

Prayer for Endurance

Walking in perseverance means you keep praying when the answer is delayed. You keep forgiving when the wound still stings. You keep honoring God even when it seems like no one sees it but Him. The enemy would love for you to quit right before breakthrough. But God calls you to keep going, not in your own strength, but in his. You don't need a second wind, you need the Holy Spirit's power to keep you pressing forward, because he's not just walking beside you, he's walking in you. So today, don't base your pace on your feelings. So today, don't base your pace on your feelings. Base it on your faith. Keep going. You're closer than you think. Let's pray, lord, help me to endure today when it's hard. Remind me of what you've promised. When I'm tired, be my strength when I'm discouraged. Be my strength when I'm discouraged. Be my joy.
