Speaker 1:From Psalm 31, verse 15, from the New Living Translation my future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. Sometimes life moves so fast that it's hard to catch your breath, let alone think clearly about what's ahead. The future can feel exciting or terrifying, sometimes both, but Psalm 3115 gives us something solid to stand on in any season. My future is in your hands. That means your timeline isn't random. Your next step up isn't to chance. Your purpose, your provision, your protection, it's all being held by the same God who made the stars and knows you by name. Even when enemies surround or anxiety creeps in or life feels like it's unraveling, your future hasn't slipped out of his hands. You're not drifting, you're being carried.
Speaker 1:The psalmist wrote this from a place of distress. He was being hunted, chased, worn down. Maybe you're not running from enemies, but maybe you're running from fears, from deadlines, from pressure you never asked for. Even so, your future is still safe, still secure, still in his hands. So today, take a deep breath and remember the weight of tomorrow doesn't belong on your shoulders. You are held by the one who already knows what's ahead and has already made a way through it. Pray with me, father God. Thank you that my future is not up to me. It's in your hands, hands that are steady, wise and full of love.
