Speaker 2:Today is Day 207, morning Mercies. We'll be in Psalm 143, verse 8 from the New Living Translation. Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Hey, it's Saturday, and welcome to Weekends with Lauren. Let's take a breath together, because sometimes the hardest part of the week is just making it through all the noise to get here.
Speaker 2:Psalm 143.8 is one of those quiet verses that feels likea sunrise for your soul. It reminds us that God's love shows up first thing, before the to-do list, before the decisions, before the questions. His love meets us in the morning, fresh and faithful, and the psalmist's response is so simple, so real. I'm trusting you. Show me where to walk. That might be your prayer today too, because, let's be honest, some weeks leave us a little lost. We don't always know what step to take, but God surely does, and he's not hiding his path from you. He promises to guide those who give themselves fully to him. So this weekend, let it be simple. Start your day by listening. Let his love be the first voice you tune into. Trust that he's already making a way. And remember you don't have to figure it all out. You just have to walk with the one who already has. Let's pray, God. Thank you for meeting me in the morning.
