Let me help you embrace each day with faith and wisdom, Ready to feel inspired. Let's get started. And now. Weekends with Lauren.

Speaker 2:

Today is Day 208. The anchor still holds. We'll be in Psalm 125, verse 1 from the New Living Translation. Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion. They will not be defeated, but will endure forever. Hey, it's Sunday, and welcome to Weekends with Lauren. Let's start today with a simple but strong truth. If you've put your trust in God, you're more secure than you feel. Psalm 125.1 compares those who trust in the Lord to Mount Zion Unshakable, immovable and enduring.

Speaker 2:

That's not based on our strength. It's not because we never waver. It's because God doesn't. He's the anchor holding us steady when everything else tries to pull us off course. Life has a way of shaking the ground under our feet Disappointments, delays, unexpected turns but trusting God doesn't mean the shaking never comes. It means we don't fall apart when it does.

Speaker 2:

If your world feels unstable today, take heart. God hasn't moved. Your footing in him is still solid, and when you stand on his promises, you're not just surviving, you're enduring. So breathe deep today, let your soul settle. You are planted in something stronger than emotion, stronger than fear, stronger than circumstance. You are rooted in the one. You cannot be shaken. And let's pray Lord when life feels unstable. Remind me that you are not. Help me stand firm in your promises and trust you when everything else feels uncertain. Anchor me in your truth today, in Jesus' name, amen.

Speaker 2:
