Today is day 346, the gift of giving, from Acts chapter 20, verse 35 from the New Living Translation. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus. It is more blessed to give than to receive. God has called you to not only receive gifts, but to be a gift to others. When you give your time, when you give your resources or encouragement to someone, you reflect his heart to the world. Giving isn't about the amount, it's about the attitude. A generous spirit brings forth joy to the giver and to the receiver. So today, what I want you to do is find a way to give. Whether it's your time or a word of encouragement or a resource to someone who needs it. Ask God to use you as a blessing. Pray with me. Father God, thank you for giving so generously to me.
