19. Make Jesus Christ the Focus of Your Life with Heidi Archer
1 Nephi 1:1 helps Heidi strive to be a better mother! When she reads this verse she thinks of her own goodly parents and their amazing example. She is grateful they taught her and her siblings about Jesus Christ and His gospel. She's also grateful they taught them how to serve others, be honest, humble, responsible, kind, and to do their best. As she became a mother she knew that if she modeled her parents example that things would be okay. Then the unexpected happened and she became a single mom for seven years. Those years were hard, but as she focused on the Lord she was guided and strengthened and able move forward in faith. As she looks back she is grateful for the progress she made and the joy she felt as she relied on the Savior!
My closing thoughts I talk about how the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are preparing for the Lords second coming by building temples.
