20. Following Jesus Christ & Keeping His Commandments with Padma Randall
2 Nephi 31:10-13 has been a very important scripture to Padma since she first started learning about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. She grew up in India and belonged to a strong Lutheran family. She first heard about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from her Uncle who moved from India to American Samoa to work. He and his family were taught by Latter-day missionaries and joined the church. When he came home to India and taught Padma and her family she felt the power and truthfulness of his words! She learned from 2 Nephi 31 that she needed to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized by immersion and keep his commandments, so she chose to be baptized! She had to overcome a lot of hardship, but as she put her faith in the Lord He guided her every step of the way. Jesus Christ and His restored gospel has greatly blessed her and her family's life!
