In John 2:12–25, we see that only the gospel of Jesus—the true good news—can save, as Jesus confronts corruption in the temple and reorients worship around Himself. This passage reveals His call to holiness, His authority as the new center of worship, and His ability to discern the authenticity of our faith. Ultimately, it points us to the truth that salvation is found not in religious systems or outward signs, but in Jesus alone.
