Lesson 7: God's Love is Faithful with Dr. Jeff Warren

Park Cities Baptist Church

In the face of tragedy and heartbreak, we're reminded of the profound truth that sin is serious, but salvation is stunning. The book of Micah serves as our guide, showing us how God's holiness confronts our brokenness, yet His love restores us. We're challenged to consider: How do we navigate life when everything seems to be falling apart? The answer lies in recognizing God as our refuge and strength, even as mountains crumble around us. Micah's prophecy paints a vivid picture of God's judgment against injustice, but also offers a glimpse of a future where swords become plowshares and fear is replaced by peace. This vision of restoration isn't just a distant hope—it's a call to action. We're urged to 'do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with our God.' But here's the crucial insight: we can't fulfill this calling through our own efforts. Only through a relationship with Christ, who perfectly embodied these qualities, can we truly live out this transformative way of life. In our grief and struggles, let's remember: God is with us, He understands our pain, and He invites us into a deeper relationship with Him.
