This message from Luke 11:5–13 encourages us to pray with confidence and expectation, trusting in the goodness of our Heavenly Father. Through the parable of the persistent neighbor, Jesus teaches that prayer is not simply about persistence, but about approaching God with bold faith, believing that he hears and responds to his children.

Too often, our prayers are limited by small expectations or uncertainty about God's character. Jesus invites us to ask, seek, and knock with confidence, knowing that God is not reluctant to give good gifts. As a loving Father, he delights in meeting our needs and giving us exactly what we need most.

This message challenges us to pray bigger prayers, trust God's promises more deeply, and approach him with greater expectancy. Because God has already demonstrated his love through Christ, we can come before him with confidence, believing that he is faithful, generous, and always working for our good.
