This message from 2 Kings 20:1–11 explores what it means to trust God through every season of life. As King Hezekiah faces a life-threatening illness and an uncertain future, he responds by turning to the Lord in honest, heartfelt prayer, demonstrating that faith brings every fear, question, and burden before God.
Hezekiah’s example reminds us that trusting God does not require pretending everything is fine. Instead, we are invited to anchor ourselves in our identity as God's people, bringing our deepest concerns to him with confidence in his faithfulness. In every season — whether marked by stability, uncertainty, or renewal — God remains present and worthy of our trust.
This message challenges us to consider where we turn first when life takes an unexpected turn. Rather than placing our ultimate confidence in our own understanding or the wisdom of the world, we are called to seek the Lord, trusting that he is faithful in both seasons of hardship and seasons of blessing.
