Hello friends.
Welcome to season two of the attempting motherhood podcast. You may have noticed a few changes around here. We have a new podcast cover. Please let me know what you think about it because. Taking pictures of yourself alone in your house always feels really awkward. Or at least it does for me.
And I have a lot of exciting things planned for the season this year. Let's break some of them down.
I want to jump in and say to those of you who have subscribed. I thank you so much. If you share episodes with friends, that is how this podcast grows. And by this podcast growing,
it means I can get more incredible guests to come and speak to us. And.
Let us learn from them.
And all have the ability to continue to create this podcast.
So to those who have subscribed already, I thank you so much. It makes more of a difference than you realize. If you haven't subscribed yet, please, please do. And another way that you can help us grow is by simply sharing this with a friend. Pick any of the past episodes that you think they might enjoy?
ShareLink and. Little by little, our community is going to grow.
Let's jump in and talk a little bit about 20, 25. We're almost through January, which feels wild, but.
Here we are.
I launched the attempting motherhood membership last week. It is live. I am so excited. So you may know that last year I had a group coaching program.
And the membership is essentially the group coaching on hyperdrive. So yes, group coaching is an element of it. It's a big element of it. But it is me putting all of my ideas, the ways I want to support you. In one place. So not only do we have group coaching there's body doubling sessions. There's.
Monthly Q and A's, there's also a Q and a forum to me.
So if you have a question you don't want to wait until the monthly live Q and a pop it there. I am happy to answer it. And then of course, because community is. The biggest aspect of us navigating and thriving as.
Neurodivergent mothers. There is a community hub. There's a space where you can connect, talk to message with other neurodivergent mothers. Learn from them as much as if not more than you're going to learn. From me.
In addition to that there's workbooks there's templates to help you manage life because don't, we all need as much help as we can get. I know I am one, let me just be a hundred percent transparent. Everything I create. I create because it's something I need. And then I just think, oh, I should share this with other people because if I need it, surely other people need it.
And if you. We're interested in intention. That little aspect is not going away. In addition to the workbooks that live forever in the membership, you are able to have access to them in all of the different topics. Anytime you want. Each month, we're going to pick one of those workbooks and go through in a live call.
We'll break it down. All elaborate. I'll give you any new information that I might've learned recently. And. You have, this is the important part. , you have the opportunity to ask questions, to get clarification. To put whatever this topic is into your own scenario. And get a bit of guidance on that.
And here's another aspect that I think is so cool. I get it. I live in Australia. My time zone does not. Fit everybody's time zones. We're also going to have what I'm calling community hangs, essentially. It's member hosted body doubling. So if you live in the UK and you want to do a body doubling session at 1:00 PM. That's a little bit hard for me, cause that's like midnight.
My.
It means you simply let me know, I'll put it up. And then anyone who wants to join during that time is able to, so you still get the benefits of body doubling, even if you can't make. The sessions that I host inside the membership.
And because I cherish you guys as listeners so much as a special.
Thank you for listening to the podcast. I've created a code where you get 20% off your first month by simply using the code podcast at checkout. Now you'll notice when you go to attempting motherhood.com/membership. Of course, of course, that link is in the show notes. You don't have to remember it. I got you.
I know your working memory. Isn't great. Cause I have the same line.
But you will notice there are two tiers. I am trying to make this as accessible as possible. So the connect tier that is. You get access to the community, to the member hub, you get access to the workbook, to the life admin templates.
And you're able to still connect and learn. And then you'll also see the coach and connect tier. That is where you get the live coaching, the body doubling the workbook lives, the monthly Q and a all of that plus everything that's in the connect tier.
As I said, I have tried to keep it as accessible as possible. And I also understand that not everyone wants group coaching. You might just want access to the community. And the workbooks. And the life admin templates. I get it. That's okay.. The upside is that you get a seven day trial. Yes. In addition to your 20% off for being a podcast listener, of course.
So whichever option you choose. You're getting a seven day trial.
Hop in there. Have a look around. I joined some of the live sessions. And of course cancel anytime you want. It's month to month. You can cancel it before the seven days is over. If you get in there and you go. Um, this is not so much for me. No hard feelings.
Now I apologize if that just seemed like the world's longest commercial, but. It's obviously something that I have put a lot of time and effort into. I've been working on some of these aspects for over a year. And I am so glad that it's all now finally seeing the light of day. I'm so excited to branch into this.
Form of being able to support other neurodivergent moms. And help all of us.
Feel a little less, like we're drowning.
And as far as the podcast goes, Let's break down what 2025 has in store for attempting motherhood. The Aud way.
You've all said, you have asked, I have heard you, you want more? Short. Episodes. I get it. The issue is I really struggle to be succinct. And that struggle is intensified when I have a guest. So you're going to get the best of both worlds. I'm going to do solo episodes that are short. They are on one or two topics.
We're just going to break stuff down. If you follow me on tick talk and you see how I go through things, essentially it'll be like that. But slightly elaborated.
Which means then the guest episodes are going to continue. To be that slightly longer form. I try and keep them around an hour, but come on. Some of the guests are just so amazing. I can't cut it down any shorter than what they are.
But if the guest episode is super long, I'll try and do part one. In part two. I know that some people look and they see an hour 15 episode and they think that's just too much. I am trying to meet you guys where the requests are at. Giving you some shorter episodes and some longer ones. I have a lineup of, again, incredible guest.
And some that I'm hoping. To get.
And a way you can help me get those amazing guests that are on my wishlist. Of course we've already talked about subscribe.
Share this with a friend. And if you haven't please leave a review
because that's another way that you can let someone know how good this podcast is and how much you enjoy it.
And a little request from me to you. If I have not already asked too much.
If you follow somebody, if you listen to another podcast and you think, whoa, that would be a really good guest. Message me.
I'm on all the social medias at Sam attempts, motherhood. There is also on the bottom of the podcast. Show notes, a feature that says, send us a message. It's one way. So if you want me to contact you, please put your contact details. But you can just drop the name of a guest that you would love to hear in there. I get a message sent. And I'll get to work, trying to get them on.
And land that person that you want to hear.
I have promised to try and keep things short. Of course. So that's a little bit of what's to come in 2025.
Keep an eye out for the next episode, that's going to drop.
And as always, I thank you for listening.
