Ready Set Collaborate with Wanda Pearson
Reflecting on a Journey of Growth, Faith, and Transformation with Wanda Pearson
Join me for a heartfelt reflection on the incredible journey of the Ready Set Collaborate podcast over the past year. This special solo episode peels back the curtain on my personal path from a childhood marked by abuse and being told I would amount to nothing, to becoming a three-time author with a fourth book on forgiveness in the works.
The power of collaboration has transformed my life in ways I never imagined possible. From my first collaborative book "Audacity to Shine" to my personal memoir "God's Grace Through the Fire: From Struggle to Triumph," each step has reinforced that we should never limit what God has planned for us. I share vulnerably about how faith carried me through my darkest moments and built the confidence you now hear in my voice each week.
We revisit some of the most impactful conversations from the past year – from Evie Fleming's holistic connection wisdom, Matt Dillingham's financial mindset revelations, and Dr. Calvin Ellison's insights on personal transformation and legacy-building. These aren't just interviews; they're part of a movement where strong, resilient individuals come together to have raw, real conversations about everything that matters. As we look toward the podcast's future, I invite you to share which episodes touched you most and consider joining me as a guest or sponsor. Remember, we're in this together – collaborating, elevating, and moving forward in our purpose.

Speaker 2:Welcome back to the Ready Set Collaborate podcast with Wanda Pearson. It's your girl, wanda Pearson. Here and today we're doing something a little different. It's just me, and I want to reflect on what I have been going through with this amazing journey and having this podcast. What I love about this is actually connecting with you, connecting with our guests. We had some incredible guests on here and I can't believe it's been over a year since I've been doing this podcast. I just wanted to come back and reflect on some of the episodes that we had. All of them are great episodes, but can you believe how many powerful conversations we've had, from entrepreneurs to authors?
Speaker 2:And I am an author and I want to tell you I am writing another book. My last book is God Scrapes Through the Fire, from Struggle to Triumph. I'm going to talk about that more and my next, fourth book is going to be about forgiveness. That's the thing that we struggle with and what I went through as far as my childhood growing up with abuse and thank God that got me out of that and to be able to do what I'm doing today. When someone tells you you're nothing, you're not going to be anything, you have to believe God is always with you, have trust and faith in God and know that he will pull you out of any situation. And me, as a little girl, I didn't have that confidence. But now, as you can see, I built that confidence for being on doing my podcast, writing three books. The last one is my book is God's Grace Through the Fire, from Struggle to Triumph. And my first book was Audacity to Shine, which was something that I said I would never write a book and I have to say that seeing Nicole Henderson call me and say God told her to call me to be part of that collaboration book. I love the title Audacity to Shine. And then my next book, collaboration book, was actually the Impact of One Voice. Aubrey Robinson had called me and asked me that I want to be part of that book. Never Say Never. And that's actually the title that I have in that book Impact of One Voice. Never Say Never because God has a plan for you and God's plan for me was to write my own story, which is God's Great, through the Fire, from Struggle to Triumph, and now he's pushed me to do my fourth book. Also, I'm excited to have been the top 20 author with the author all-stars with Tariya Avant. I'm grateful to do that. I'm going to be in it again on 25, 26. I'm going to come back to you in September to say start voting for Wanda Pearson. I would love your vote, but that's what we're talking about.
Speaker 2:Like I said, going from entrepreneurs to authors, to nonprofit leaders, to community builders, every single guest brought their own special fire to this space. I still get chills thinking about some of the stories that were shared and the wisdom drop and the connection spark right here on this podcast Connection Spark right here on this podcast. Make sure you follow and share and also it's on YouTube and subscribe Ready Set. Collaborate with Wanda Pearson, because you don't want to miss any episode. Every Wednesday I drop a new episode and some of the guests that's on here is just dropping nuggets as far as education, empowering us to be able to go forward, and that's why I want 2025 to be a year that we reflect and we empower and do better and be able to be confident in whatever our passion is to achieve in life. It's been a journey of learning, growth and transformation for all of us, and I want to highlight a few episodes that really stood out and left me and many of you reflecting on just how powerful collaboration and connection can be.
Speaker 2:My first one is Elevating Connections with Evie Fleming. Wow, wow. Evie taught us the importance of connecting to ourselves, both physically and spiritually. Her insight into reflexology and yoga brought such healing energy, reminding us that we're not just not our minds, but our bodies and spirits as well. I love how she talked about aligning all parts of us to live a harmony, and for anyone looking to find balance in practice, this episode was a game changer. Make sure you reach out to Evie Fleming. She's on all social media.
Speaker 2:My next one was transforming financial futures with Matt Dillingham. Now let me tell you about Matt. From his military service to mastering credit and embracing accountability, his journey to financial freedom was inspiring. It was very inspiring because I didn't realize he was in the military, so he taught me a lot of things here. Matt taught us that transforming our financial futures is not just about numbers. It's about mindset, and that is so true. It's about mindset. He helped us reframe how we look at money and how we take control of our own financial health with confidence. If you missed this one, I highly recommend you going back and listening to it. It was so powerful.
Speaker 2:Reach out to Matt Dillingham, and then my other one that I had recently and this is a recent podcast is Empowering Personal Transformation with Dr Calvin Ellison. Dr Ellison brought so much wisdom and heart to the conversation. We dove deep into community engagement, health and the legacy we're each building. He spoke about not just taking care of ourselves, but leaving the legacy that uplifts others and stands the test of time. His words reminded me of how important it is to build from a place of purpose, and I know so many of you walked away with a renewed sense of your own personal power and mission. Make sure you go back and listen to Dr Calvin Ellison and reach out to him.
Speaker 2:These are just a few of the standout moments, and I have so many more episodes that you need to go back and look at, but there have been so many more that have touched me deeply and I hope have touched you too. It has truly been a space for growth. We're here, we're out, we're here, we've been laughed. We laughed, cried and had our perspectives shifted. Ready Set.
Speaker 2:Collaborate isn't just interviews. It's about creating a community, a movement. Women and men like us, strong, resilient, faith-driven women and men can come together, share and support one another. It's about lifting each other up and having real raw conversations about everything that matters. As we look back on some of these incredible episodes, I can't wait, but excited for what's next. We're just getting started. Make sure you follow me, because that way you get all the new episodes that comes on here. I have some great ones that's coming up as well, and I'm so thankful that you along with me, along with the ride with me, it God. I'm getting emotional here. I've got more powerful conversations lined up, more insights to share and more opportunity to collaborate with incredible people who are changing the world, just like you.
Speaker 2:Before I sign off, I want to hear from you which episodes made the most impact on you. Which guests did you connect with the most? Speaker 2:I'm always looking for guests, but I'm also looking for sponsors as well. Sponsoring an episode for a month my marketing manager. She can actually put things on your about your business. We have a lot of good things. As far as, if you want to be a sponsor, reach out to me and let me know. Wanda, I want to be a sponsor on your Ready Set Collaborate podcast. I would love to have you.
