Ryan Bennett
Ryan Bennett is Vice President of the Farm Program at the American Humane
Society, the 150-year-old organization behind the "No Animals Were Harmed"
mark at the end of movies. He leads American Humane Certified, its farm
animal welfare certification program, which certifies more than a billion
animals a year across nine species and audits farms, hatcheries and
processing plants in multiple countries using independent third-party
auditors. Before this he spent eight years as Executive Director of both
the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Poultry and Eggs and the International
Poultry Welfare Alliance, where he helped build the industry's Key Welfare
Indicators framework. He holds an agriculture degree from Kansas State
University.
