With over 50 years in the poultry industry, starting on his family's Center Fresh Egg farm, he's a vital figure. Dooyema chairs the Iowa Egg Council and serves on boards for the American Egg Board, United Egg Producers, and World Poultry Foundation. He was inducted into the North Central Poultry Association Hall of Fame in 2024 and actively supports international missions providing eggs globally.
