76: The Pitt Recap - Reflecting on Season One

Kalissa Georgia Kramer

This is Hannah and Issa and Sarah and, um, we've been talking about the pits so much. I know. I've been waiting for this. It's so good. Yes. But it sadly ended. Well, not just for the season. Just Yeah, the season. Season. They are, they're already starting season two. Mm-hmm. They're trying to work really quick'cause um, the demand is there. Yes. Oh, for sure. I wanna keep the fire burning. I feel like they should have been filming and speaking of fire filming this whole time, it's gonna be about, it's gonna be around 4th of July, so everyone's like, oh my gosh. All the fire, you know, the 4th of July. Yes. Traumas that's gonna happen. I know there's gonna be a firework incident. Yes. I just know it. Which interestingly enough, um, all of the new, I think they're doing it in July because all of the new doctors start in July. So, oh, that's like the, their year rotation. So if you're a new doctor, I didn't know that. So they always say like, be super careful at fire 4th of July. Otherwise you're gonna be intubated by someone who's had five days of medical school. Oh, geez. Yeah.'cause it's like they're newbies. Oh. So be careful. Yes. But we already have all these new doctors, so maybe this was like. July 1st. I can't imagine they would add more new people. Yeah. I have so many, many storylines already. Yeah. Yeah. Kind of. They left some of it unopened. We didn't get to see Collins at the end of the I know. I'm curious what that's, I really thought she'd like that just ended, I thought she'd come back. I thought she'd be like, oh my God. I just, you know, woke up from my nap. Yeah. And had like 50 missed calls and I'm kind of 50 voices. Well, he told her to turn off her phone. Yeah, he did. Yeah. But like the fact that she didn't even like, oh shit. Yeah. Do you guys think that she had a thing with Robbie? Yes, definitely. Yes. You think so? Yeah. Mm-hmm. There was definitely some tension, I thought in the back of thought when she was talking about having a baby prior, a long time ago, I was like, is that Robbie's baby? That she, oh, heck yeah. You think so? I thought it was, yeah. That was the five I was getting. It was kind of hinted that, like that. Mm-hmm. Because he, he kind of was like surprised, like. Like, I felt like he was about to ask, like, was that mine? Is it my baby? Yeah. Oh yeah. Totally got that vibe. A hundred percent. Yeah. I wanna, I'm gonna probably rewatch like episode one. Yeah. Really? Yeah. Yeah. Now that you know everybody, it's a little easier to follow. I mean, even the last, because then I'll be able to see, um, who was a drug addict doctor. Banks, red band, Langdon, Langdon. Oh, maybe I'll see more like his skittishness or like, you know. Yeah. But Chin, but Chin, I dunno his name. Langdon. Okay. And I was just about to make the comment, like even in our episode that we covered earlier, we didn't know the names of all the doctors and now we know all the names of the doctors except bunch. I still dunno em, oh, there's some names that I, um, the mean new resident and no clue. Oh, come on. Ponytail girl. Yeah, black ponytail. Oh my gosh, it's been a minute. Oh, Whitaker. Yeah. Whitaker. No neck, no chin. Yes. Yeah. Okay. Don't have Sarah roast you? Yes. Yeah. I'm not saying that he's ugly by any means. He just has like there's from chin to neck, there's not a lot happening there, you know? Yes. And he actually has an accent. Really? I heard found that out during some interviews. British, yeah. Cool. I love a British accent. Strong British accent, but I'm like, dang. Yeah. Hundred times hotter. Instantly. Yes, instantly. Okay. Love that. For, if you look up all of their headshots though, like. Of the cast. Have you done that before? Mm-hmm. Like they are really attractive actually. Like, they kind of like, not dumb them down, but like play them down when you're, but when you're a nurse working 12 hours shift or a doctor working 12 hour shifts, like, it's not like you're putting on a full face of makeup here. Exactly. Yes. Yeah. Which I really liked, um, the redhead nurse because I felt like she was just like, live in that, the one with that ankle bracelet. Red banks or red banks? Mm-hmm. What was her name? I mean, can you even recognize her? Wait, black ponytail? Yes. No, it's um. Breaking Bads. Daughter King. She has autism? Yes. I don't know her name. Taylor Dearin? No. Dr. King. Yeah. Yeah. Dr. King. Is that her name? Okay. Yes. Yeah. She's cute. Mm-hmm. Yes, know Wiley, can we just start at the top of my notes and, yeah. Work? Yeah. Sarah's got some thoughts and Yeah.'cause if I didn't write'em down, I would've forgotten. Yes. I should have taken notes. Yes, I am. Well, we'll discuss when I start talking then. We'll, yeah. Yes. Okay. So this is spoilers, obs. So go watch and pause here and then come back. Um, so the whole mass shooting thing, what the heck? Mm-hmm. I was not expecting that. I wasn't expecting that many tragedies because I don't knows True. When they were summarizing it, I thought there were more people killed. Yeah. Because I feel like there was more pe dead people, and then they're like, there were six casualties and it's like. Didn't they wheel half of them in already Dead? Yeah. I'm just like, what? Yeah. So I feel like there was more, I feel like the numbers kind of got skewed a little bit there. Well, I think maybe it was too because so, so many people left for surgery. Mm-hmm. That like, I think in your mind that seems like they're dead. Yeah. Or something.'cause they just disappear. Yeah. I dunno. I dunno. I felt like a lot of people got hurt and I just, um,'cause we've seen so many mass shootings. Mm-hmm. And it's always maybe like three people or four. Like not that die. Yeah. Yeah. But not that many like, oh, it just grazed me. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. You know, I was expecting more like,'cause it was at a music festival, a lot more stomping. Oh yeah, true, true. Because, uh, trampling that, uh, Travis. Scott Concert Astro World. Mm-hmm. That they just kind of hide under the rug. Right. A lot of people got hurt, but they were all like stomped on. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So that's what I, I was expecting more of that. What a way to go. I know, right? Oh yeah. I wish they would've wrapped up some of the storylines, um, because like, um. The, the, you know, ponytail girl? Mm-hmm. God, what's her name that's gonna drive me nuts. Black ponytail girl. Black ponytail girl. Um, she did the iboa or whatever that she wasn't supposed. Yeah. Mm-hmm. She wasn't supposed to on that one patient. And I feel like we were so focused on that patient for so long that, and then it just, she was just gone. Mm-hmm. She like, it never ended. That's what I mean about the surgery thing is like Dr. Santos. Yes, Dr. But then again, it's also like. Once those people leave your ER to go to wherever, that also happens. They just disappear. They do. Um, so like, it is realistic for, you know, or like the clown guy with the bullet in his arm, right. That got the IO by Whitaker so bad. Oh my gosh. I've, oh, I've only ever had to put an IO in one awake person. And that was tragic. That was awful. That was, they literally like, screw that into you. That's your bone. That's bonkers. Mm-hmm. I hope I never ever have to. Oh my gosh. And then the girl that I don't know how to describe her, she did it in his eyeball? Yes. Ah, to like relieve the pressure. Remember that guy? Yes. The old guy. The like, Ooh. Yes. He'd be seventies guy. And he like, she had to like release the pressure behind his eye and so she just like drilled into his Yes. Was it his skull? The bur hole? Yeah. What? Yes. Yeah. That was pretty wild, bonkers. But it does get. Like crazy like that. Mm-hmm. Like there are no rules. Like when he came, I must have missed that moment. Yeah. Probably on your phone. Pay attention maybe. But, um, the only time I saw a bur hole was Grey's Anatomy, when there was that huge car wreckage. And Izzy Stevens, I mean this guy Yes. He was dying. Yes. And he was like smashed between a car and she's like, okay, help is on the way. Help is not on the way. Yes. Um, and she's like, let me relieve the pressure. So she like had to do it herself. Yeah. And you know, he, I remember that. Yes. He was literally smashed. It was like there car, it was like that, or he was gonna die anyway. Yeah. But it, and they talked her through it on the phone. I think Derek talked her through it on the phone. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. I've never seen that, but, wow. Early Grey's Anatomy. Mm-hmm. Yes. Was, well, Izzy was still on, so obviously the original cast. Yes. Mm-hmm. Can you imagine the PTSD. Huh. Not just from the people who like were there at the event. Mm-hmm. And we kind of saw that with the lady, the mom, you know? Mm-hmm. Um, with the hand thing, but also like a patient. Yeah. The doctors then. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Covid was as traumatizing for a lot of people, I'm sure. Yeah, yeah. Mm. There were was a lawless land. Mm-hmm. There were people dying left and right. Mm-hmm. Um, like I would say that a lot of medical workers really related to, and I'm not comparing covid to a mass shooting. I'm sure there's a lot of differences, but some people really are traumatized by covid that same way. I think the hysteria is where the, the like connection is. Yeah. Like people get hysterical over. Mm-hmm. These mass casualty or Yes. Or mass issues like shooting type of situations or fires or whatever. And then it's a similar situation with like the Covid stuff when there's like a disease that's rampant and Yeah. Stuff like that. So, and it's scary in that, you know, a mass shooting isn't contagious. Mm-hmm. You know, someone comes in with a bullet wound. There is an end to that, even though it's, and you can take, you can take care of that patient without worrying about bringing a mass shooting home to your family. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. But with Covid mm-hmm. You had all of that fear of. If someone's vent pops off, you run in the room quick to literally save their life without any gear on. Mm-hmm. You pop the vent back on and you come out, then you have to spend the rest of the day wondering, did I just kill my grandma because I brought Covid home to her? You know what I mean? Yeah. So it was, it was a lawless land. Mm-hmm. Very scary. Yeah. I would love to get another one of my covid nurses that I worked in the ICU with and do, uh, like a podcast on that. That'd be interesting. Yeah. That'd be like such a, because I mean, I didn't see that. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So what we saw was, um, the aftermath of Covid. Mm-hmm. Yeah. You, uh, no hair, I mean no public service for three months. Mm-hmm. So hairdressers, tattoo artists. Maybe tar, uh, I know hairdressers we had wait three months. Mm-hmm. And then, Ooh, after that it was just anytime anyone coughed in the salon. Yeah. Everyone's like, yeah. Ugh. It was just awful. I feel like it's still kind of like that a little bit. Mm-hmm. Not to the same extent, but I do feel like there's more awareness around that stuff now than before. Yeah, definitely. I still see people wearing masks. I think it's a polite thing to do if you're sick. Mm-hmm. And you're in public. Like I don't look at people wearing masks and be like, wow, you are a chicken shit. Yeah. Like I look at people being and wearing a mask and it's like, thank you for respecting me enough to. Cover yourself while you're in public. If you have to be in public while you're sick. Definitely. Airports. You see a lot more people wearing masks. Yes. Mm-hmm. And you know, they may look fine, but like, it's so hard, you know? Yeah. The scene bother bothers me to cover it. Oh, I guess you're, you went on a different path that was going on, but like the, it bothers me that during those times you couldn't like. Interact with people and see them. Mm-hmm. Like there was so much taken away from the human experience of just like being with people during that time. Mm-hmm. Just because of the mask itself. Yeah. Where like you're limited to just like two inches of space between their eyes and their, like the top of their nose type of thing. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. It just takes away so much of the, I don't even know. Humanness. Yeah. Yeah. And I think, I feel like that was one of the biggest, like saddest. Things for me during that time. Yeah. Well, um, hairdressing, like they had to wear a mask while we were cutting their hair. That was kind of hard.'cause usually I could look at a person and be like, how are they doing? Mm-hmm. And all I see is just dead eyes. Right. And I'm like, good. Yeah. Can you just pull that down first? A second? Right. Yeah. And that was so frustrating, especially how hard it would be for people. Hard of hearing. Yeah. Rely on lip breathing. I was just gonna say. It was so hard to talk to people because I frequently look at people's mouths while they're talking.'cause I just feel like I can't hear that well. Yeah. I swear I could never hear anybody. I'm like going deaf in this ear. So I'd have to like go down to their low and be like, what'd you say? Yeah, right. Yeah. It was difficult. It was difficult. Yeah. It's like talking to people behind a plexiglass wall. Mm-hmm. You're just like, what are you saying? Mm-hmm. Yeah. It's difficult. I mean, they still have, um, that at everywhere. Tons of places. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I mean, good for them on that end, you know?'cause you never know what someone has, or some people are spitters. Yeah. Got you. Yes. Okay. So let's go back to this. Yeah. Back to the pit. Next thing on my list. Um, and maybe we should talk about this first, the whole relationship that Robbie has with, it's not actually his stepson, but like the girlfriend's son. Yeah. His previous girlfriend's son. Um, and then he was there at the shooting. Mm-hmm. The stepson basically. Um, and he was nicked in the leg, is that right? Mm-hmm. And then the girlfriend was shot mm-hmm. In the heart. And so the, this stepson's girlfriend was killed. Mm-hmm. And there was a whole huge, yes, there was a whole huge scene between Robbie and this stepson. Battery. Exhausted. It was full. Yeah, but it's exhausted. That means it's too hot. I mean, it was too hot. Pause, Issa. Let me just, oh, it's off. Anyway, we're still recording so that's fine. So we're limited to one video per sesh. Yeah. Apparently with this camera. Oh yeah, that's good idea. So anyways, we just, we've just lost our video. I was like sitting at like my thigh. Yes. We just lost our video, so we're like, you know, whatever. But, um, forgot what I was saying. Oh, the girlfriend thing. Yes. And so then there was this whole huge issue between. His son and Okay. I thought you were giving me those, rolling of the eyes about the situation. Okay. I'm sure he was traumatic, but like yelling at your dad, like you could have done more like, right. I'm like, I was like, seriously after, but you gotta remember he's 17. The other doctors were like giving Robbie crap about using extra resources to try to save this girl. Mm-hmm. And were they giving him crap? I think so, yes. The guy, the guy, the paramedic, the like trauma doctor from the field. The medic, yeah. Yeah. Was like give, he's like, okay, like you've done this, you've done this. Like you have to move on. Yeah. Yeah. And so I don't know. And then like, okay, so what I had written down was Robbie's breakdown. Mm-hmm. That whole situation. Well, and I. I mean, you forget that he's, we, it's supposed to be the whole day. Mm-hmm. The series is just a one day. Mm-hmm. And he was working on the anniversary of the death of that one doctor. Mm-hmm. Yeah. So that pulls in the Covid thing too, again. Mm-hmm. Because he was basically having flashbacks, the whole se this whole season, he's working on an anniversary death date. Mm-hmm. And then on top of, you know, everything that all happened and then Right. New students. Mm-hmm. Yes. Stressful day to begin with. Mm-hmm. Yes. Uh, and he had a total mental breakdown. Yeah. And like sat in the morgue with all the bodies and just like cried, sat in the same room that that doctor died in. Yeah. Mm-hmm. So like all the fields are just coming. Yep. Yeah. Yeah. So I was just like, the sun, I'm like, really? I mean, just stop like you. I know. But in that situation, it's so hard to say like what You're kind of emotional. Something so tragic, but then again, teenager, like I'm thinking back to Teenage Hannah. Would I have been like this? Yes. Hannah would've been a freak. Oddly. I would've been a freak. I'm sure. Yeah. That was like your best friend or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He just lost potentially his best friend. Mm-hmm. And. I just don't think that he can be faulted for anything. I think they were both very raw Oh, yeah. And vulnerable at that particular moment. Mm-hmm. That it just broke down. Yeah. And it just sucks that it happened to be on that specific day. Yeah. Everything like that. Yeah. I was surprised how he didn't pull himself together and it took Whitaker to come in and kind of like, yes. And I was like, I wrote that down. Mm-hmm. I thought Robbie was like. Stronger world. Stronger than that. Stronger Mind. Mind. Yes. But for him to just be like, no, I quit. I'm done. But I think like he held it together that whole entire day. Yeah. And so for Hi. Like that was just like his breaking point. Yeah. And I think we're human. Yeah. And we all have that breaking point. And that was his. Yeah. Yep. I think if his son was just like, you know, thank you dad for trying, I think maybe he wouldn't have Yeah. Had that. But like, um, the son's emotional. Dad's emotional. He's overtired, overworked, overstressed, overstimulated. Mm-hmm. And then on top of that, but then Whitaker says like, I didn't think it was the most, I mean, it was probably the most realistic thing someone would say, but not like a, a really good pep talk. Like, Hey, Dr. Robbie, you're doing so, you know. Yeah. He's like, get up and do this. We need you out there. Yeah. But that's what it is, like when you're in a trauma situation like that. Mm-hmm. Yep. Like, you just have to fight or flight. You need to do this type of thing. Yeah. But I thought that, I wrote down that it was really sweet. A Whitaker of all people, you know? Yeah. After Robbie spent, you know, there was a couple times where Robbie kind of picked him up mm-hmm. Through his little snafus along the season. Yeah. So I thought it was, it was, it was sort of a full circle moment for no Chin guy to like come in, sorry for him to come in and like, and you know, like sort of not fix the situation, but to. Just sort of wrap it up and it like ties their relationship kind of in a, like a sweet little bow. Mm-hmm. So I thought that was really nice. I thought it was kind of interesting how he was so paranoid about, did you hear anything about me? Mm-hmm. Like, did you hear that I broke down? Mm-hmm. One of the night shift nurses said that. Who brought it up to him? Was it Langdon that threw it in his face? Yes. Langdon did. Did Which honestly, I just, I talk about him. I am, I was so annoyed about him. Ugh. I'm like, really? Yeah. Really? Yeah. Oh, that pissed me off. Yeah. What did you think about, like when you saw him come in? I would've been annoying the call. I would've been annoyed like, you are not supposed to be here. I don't know if you've been taking something. Yeah, yeah. But could you have turned him away in that kind of situation? Yeah. Yes. Yeah, absolutely. I would've called the cops and be like, this doctor is stealing narcotics. Yes. From patients. I don't know. I'm really curious if he took something because he could be high and you don't know that he didn't check because it was such a like, no, I would've been pissed if I saw face. I feel like I really need to know more about the situation. I'm really interested to see how this whole thing is gonna unfold between them. Next season, I think he's gonna be out. You think so? And they're not gonna say anything. I feel like it'd be crazy almost for him to not be there. Yeah. What's interesting is they had this same exact conversation with Noah Wiley's character, Dr. Carlton when he was on er. I've been noticing that they're like his character. He was a doctor who was addicted to pain pills. Hmm. And they, all of the doctors cornered him and said, you have two choices. You go to rehab or you go to jail. Which one? Wow. So that was his character in ER all those years ago. And then now he's Noah Wiley. Who's Robbie now, who's having the same conversation with Dr. Langdon. So do you think that was purposeful, or do you think that that's just a natural, um, storyline for a show like this? I think it's a natural storyline because it's just, it would probably happen. I have personally worked with. Several nurses who have been accused of wrong or right convicted of stealing drugs from patients. It's a very real thing. From patients? Yes. Oh yeah. Not just like out of the medicine bag or whatever. Yes. From patients, you know, they could like, you know, accidentally over do it and be like, oh, I accidentally and just take whatever. Yes. Nurse Jackie, that was a whole series about nurse Jackie. Mm-hmm. That she was an addicted nurse. Wow. But she, like, under the radar, no one knew. Wow. So it's, it's a real thing and I'm really glad that they included that in the storyline because it's, it happens. Yeah. Wow. I really appreciate how there's very limited sexual contact on this show as well. Yeah. Versus like Grey's Anatomy or like the Pulse. The whole thing is just about people having, getting dirty with each other in the hospital, guys. Like I, I get that. That's part of probably how, what it is in real life. Yeah. But also like, can we just have something that's not like disgusting all Yes. Yeah. Yes. Says the person who reads so much, but that's so different like. That's so different. You go into the hockey players are supposed to learn how to play hockey well, they already know hockey. That's the whole point. They already know hockey and they're the best at it. That's why. But you go into that kind of situation with like reading a book about it and you know that that's what you're getting into. Yeah. When you watch a show, especially like a show, that's a drama, drama, drama show. Like it's not. My first thing to be like, okay, I'm gonna have my eyes like blasted by sexual content every five seconds for the next hour every week. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. It's just, it's, to me, that's so different. I was just watching this TikTok and this nurse was like, he was saying how Grace Anatomy meet. They're just so over, you know, they just, I don't care about who's sleeping with who. Right. And he said when he was a nurse at this one hospital, there was a tunnel underground to go to the other hospital. Mm-hmm. That. I think abandoned or hot. Wow. But like, people were like, oh, it's haunted over there. Oh, it's people just having sex in the hallway, and that's noise. He was like the tunnel. And he thought he heard ghosts. He heard, uh, ugh. Oh, ew. And he's like, oh my God. It goes, but then he like walked a little further because he is like. It was hilarious. In the video, he's like, you know, I don't have a high chance of like wanting to live, so of course I'm gonna figure out what's going on, observe what's going on. And he said he saw a cafeteria lady being Eiffel towered by like two guys. And then he went to the cafeteria the next day and he was served by Eiffel Tower Lady. Oh. He's like, oh, oh, good gracious. Ooh, we need a, that was more than I, wow. Need to know. I just, it had like 1.1 million likes and everything, so, oh, sorry. It was just kind of a funny like, get it girl. Wow. Wowza and then like the search bar, it was like Sabrina, because I guess she does a song, it's called Juno or something. Yeah. Uhhuh. I You ever tried this one? One? Uh, yep. Okay. Make me wanna try some new positions. Oh, so maybe if I knew the song, I wouldnt understand. Yes. You ever tried this one? This one, and then she poses different at every concert and she a sexual position. Yeah. So then the. The search was Sabrina Carpenter being Eiffel Tower. Oh yes. And she like showed it and I'm like, oh my God. Yeah. Like, what is this? But that was the point of the, but see, I didn't know the song. I didn't know the lyrics, so I was always surprised like why she was doing all these sexual gestures on stage and people were just going ape shit over it. It was like the song That's part of the song. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe I'll have to listen to the song and be like, it's actually an okay song. Mm-hmm. I don't mind it. Oh my God. I'm obsessed with busy woman. Oh my God. I know. I don't, so in the first I feel like it's okay. I don't know this. No, it's so good. Okay. So the, the first video I came around and I said. I didn't want your little bitch ass anyway. And you guys both looked at me like, what the hell are you singing in the camera? In the video? I cut it off the first video that we did. Oh, really? Why? Why would you do that? Because it didn't make any sense. That could have been a fun teaser, you know? Yes. And now you're like. Yes, I get it. So like I, I bought like a old school Bluetooth radio. Mm-hmm. I have it on my counter, my kitchen counter. I was gonna ask you, is that the Magnolia Collection? Yes. Okay. I saw that at Target and I was like, Ooh, this is really cute. Yep. And then you sent that Snapchat or whatever. I was like, oh. So I'll turn on my, you know, turn on my Magnolia, Bluetooth. Speaker, I'll blast. Busy woman as I'm like cooking in the kitchen. Mm-hmm. And I'm like, ah, this is just a vibe. It's, I love it. I love that you get to buy whatever you want.'cause I told Calvin I wanted a Bluetooth speaker and he took me to Target. And this, I, I appreciate it because I did really want one, but he was like, so you can get a pill or you can get this one and that's it. And I was like, what if I want something that's cute? And he's like, no, he's kind of stingy. He is stingy. That's ridiculous. He's kind of a butt. But I do appreciate it because. Pills are nice and they do last well. So pills. Mm-hmm. A Beats pill. Oh. Not like pills, like medication. Pills. Pill. Like a Beats Pill. Pill. Yeah. You got a Beats pill. Yeah. Nice. So I did appreciate it. Yeah. I'm not complaining much, much. I just want the cute aesthetic. I, that's what I'm saying. You should have got,'cause it would've matched your kitchen. I know. I literally was looking at it on the shelf and I was like, oh. Just, just because I was also looking at a record player that also had Bluetooth compatibility, so it couldn't play Bluetooth and you could play a record on it. I wouldn't have any space for that. I would love that. I wanted it so bad and it was only like$65 and I was like, Calvin, but he was like, dude, no. I was like, why? It would've actually aesthetic of your house. I know. I really would've. I just don't have the counter space for that dude. I have no counter space that this is whatever. Anyways, moving on. Um, okay, so this is, I'm gonna move to my last one. First, the medic doctor was an amputee. Yes. I, it kind of makes like, do you think he served. AB a hundred percent. Remember he always said on the line, on the front line, on the line, on the trauma. We used to, this is like easy Crike kid. And then it totally made sense to me like why that was sort of brought up. And so I'm curious like if he's gonna be in the next season. Oh yeah. He seemed like a really interesting character. Yes. Everyone makes all these thirst videos for him. Like they just thought he was the Hobbes. Yeah, he's cute. Yeah, he's, he's okay. I mean, I think you have to be that age to be attracted to that age, but so we are to, I'm not Noah Wiley old people. Noah Wiley's hot. He is. Oh boy. He's super hot. Mm-hmm. Hannah loves old people. Yeah, she does. I just appreciate, you know, a gray-haired man. Craig's starting to get gray in his beard. Cute. I love it. We're gonna be old someday. Don't make that face. Ew. A good thing we're not on camera. Yeah. Ick. Ugh. I just thought that was a really fascinating, like addition to the storyline. Mm-hmm. And I'm curious if they're gonna do something else with it. Mm-hmm. Or if that was just like. Added into it basically to sort of like, so bring together this whole like amp Ute TI Right. Kind of picture that they made about him. Yes. Having all this field med talk. Dr. Jack Abbott. Abbott, Dr. Abbott. Yes. Dr. Abbott. Show me his picture. Oh, it's, yeah. Show me his, see his little picture? Not This is a really Oh, he is, he he's been in a lot of stuff. Yeah. What has he been in? Um, um, his name is Sean Hati. I don't, I don't know. TA Sea. You should look him up and see what he's about. Movies and shows. He is been on Animal Kingdom. Southland Chicago pd, Chicago PD Alpha Dog. Uh, a lot of movies I've never heard of. Mm-hmm. And that's saying something. I think he was in Chicago, PDs was pretty popular. I think he, that's probably what I know him from. Mm. Oh wow. I get those little, like snippets of the shows on TikTok and stuff. No, these are very old, like two thousands stuff. 1997. That's old stuff. But, um, okay. Let's go to another surprising part. Sorry to interrupt you. You're good. The ending. Okay. When Black Ponytail Santos follows no, chin up the stairs. Yeah. And then she totally like that. She walks in and he, she finds him just like in a random hospital room. Yeah. Like banging out on, sorry, not grossly on music. And she's like, dude, do you not have a place to live? And he's like, no. And so now he's gonna go live with her. Yeah. She totally liked him from the beginning. I'm sure they have. They're gonna have a little something going on. Oh yeah. I don't think so. I think so, because they do have some interesting tension. They have a strange dynamic. They do. Yeah. Because she keeps calling him huckleberry, and it's like, how could you possibly be attracted to someone who has such disregard for her? Unless that's her thing she likes to her. You know, that could be, that's like a little, she's like, you know, back in the day when little boys would like little girls and they would be mean to them. Mm-hmm. I don't like that. That's like that kind of situation. I don't like it either. But that's like that kind of situation. Yeah. And it does happen. Yeah. So that could be just her processing. Yeah. Hmm. I do. I just thought that was such an interesting, another, another weird just random thing to like throw in there at the end and just be like, Hey, just come stay with me. Right. He's like, I've got no money. And that, that's fine. Yeah. I'm just very curious what it shows where this is going. It shows is that, you know, she was so mean to everybody. Mm-hmm. But that's obviously, uh, front a front. Mm-hmm. Yeah. A tactic. Mm-hmm. And she like really is lonely. Mm-hmm. Um, maybe no one really puts up with her because they don't like her and like, she is gonna be working in this space for as long as she can. Yeah. She's gotta make some friends. Yeah. Well, and we saw that, uh, we saw that sort of dynamic again when she was taking care of that blue guy. Yeah. Mm-hmm. She really does care. She does. And she's the one who brought the whole drug situation to Robbie. Yeah. With the butt chin guy. Yeah. You keep finding good points. I mean, you know, like, I don't like her because I do think that it's, it's part of her for annoying. It's a front, yeah. But I do, you know, she really does care. I don't think she can hide that forever. Mm-hmm. Like, she doesn't, she doesn't want the patients to get better just so that she can be right about something. I think she wants them to get better because she does have life experiences that like mm-hmm. Changed her fundamentally. And so I don't, she wants to like, avoid that maybe for other people. You know what I mean? So I don't know. Yeah. And for her being, I mean, she looks young mm-hmm. To have like all those experiences. Oh yeah. She's another person that I was surprised by her headshot. Oh, interesting. Um, are we gonna put these in carousels, Michelle? Yeah. Okay. Don't, lemme forget.'cause I will every time and then I go back and listen and, and Hannah's like, we should put this in a carousel. And I'm like, oops. Didn't do that. Issa Brianne. Ooh, that's a nice name. Yeah. Issa, where is she from? Issa. Oh, I guess that's like she sounds or something, right? Isn't that her name? Issa Ra. Oh, who's that? Like, look at she a singer. Doesn't she? Just like, she looks the same. No, she looks literally the same. She, she kinda looks the same. Kza. I feel like she looks nerdier and she looks she's top. Oh, she looks nerdier. Yeah. Yeah, she does. But that's just I think part of like, oh, here, here. You here pretty. Oh yeah. That's Gorg love her in her red lip. She kind of looks like the girl who does my eye lamination. Mm. Okay. Okay. I have a thing where I wanna find everyone's doppelganger. Me too. Yes. If it's a real person or an animation. Yes. Yes. A hundred percent. Yes. I don't look like anybody. Yes, I'm sure we do. I'm sure you do. Just gimme a minute and I'll just, yeah, it might have to be a cartoon.'cause a lot of people look like a lot cartoons in a good way. Yeah. But yeah, usually I'll just be out and about somewhere and then I'll look over and I'll be like, that is so and so's twin. Yes. And it's not always from front on, sometimes it's just from the side. Mm-hmm. So happened to me the other night actually. Wow. We went and saw some, a band at Sports Page and we were with some people that we knew from high school. I looked over and I was like, and I was tapping the our Calvin's friend and I was like, oh my gosh. That looks just like you over there. Yeah. Happens all the time. Love it. Okay. You guys said I do. I do. I do that with movies and you know, TV shows. I'm like, that looks like that's all I do. And then for me in that situation, usually it is that person and it's just, I didn't realize that it was the same actor. What else you got? That's all I have on my list. Okay. That was pretty good. Yeah. Pretty good. Uh, let us know what you think about the pit. Yeah. Have you watched it? You'll love it. What you think of the season final? Are you excited for, for next season? Yes. Yes. Yeah. And yeah, tell me what you guys think about the season finale. Because I anti climactic. Yeah. And I liked it. You did? Yeah. Because it di you know, it like a good closure so I That's true. Can get ready instead of like, I mean they were cliffhangers, but it still does lead you up, I think, to the next season with those couple of things. Mm-hmm. I don't know. I'm, I'm definitely interested to see where the next season goes. Now, because of this, I'm so excited they're gonna, it gonna be more relationship focused or continu. I think it's gonna be real world stuff because it sounded like. What's really happening in healthcare right now, politically, I think they're really gonna try to bring that into the show. Like, you mean with like the nursing shortages or like nurse, like pay stuff or what? That's, that's all it said is that they're really gonna try to be realistic and so I'm kind of worried because that's why I was so turned off by Grays, I think, I don't know. If it was realistic or they're just really like blowing things out of proportion. But I'm like, um, I come to watch TV just to get away from reality. Right? Yeah. Please don't bring a lot of reality in. Yeah. See, this is, so I'm, see this is the thing where I'm talking about like in a book, it's different because you're going into that knowing it's fake when it's fiction, right? Mm-hmm. But in a TV show. You're like, is this gonna be based on real life? Is there gonna be some sort of like, reality mixed in with this? I think so, and I don't about that, so I hope they do it better than Shonda Rhimes, because I think Shonda Rhimes was just, um, a lot of one sided, um, on some stuff, and I'm just like, okay, you're playing the story line too much. Mm-hmm. Like, but, but then again, I don't know. Mm-hmm. But then again, it's also just, it should be a TV show and just, so that's where I'm just like, uh. If it's done well, if they do it. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know how to word it. Like too much fact. Too much fiction. Yeah. Just like criminal minds, like it's just a TV show, but a lot of it's based on real life. Yeah. But that doesn't necessarily feel like things are fake to me. Yeah. It feels like those situations could happen. Maybe not exactly like that, but like those situations could happen. That's what I like about SVU. Me too. Yeah. Yeah. I think they have a pretty healthy mix of like the case that's going on and the personal lives of the officers and stuff. Yeah. So, so I, I'm curious to see that's been done well, yeah. How they're gonna do this. Mm-hmm. Me too, because I like a little bit of both. Mm-hmm. But don't just do so much, but I don't wanna be bombarded Yeah. With like, personal information and personal content. I wanna still like, have that like er. Mm-hmm. So. And they did a great job with victims, was great victims and doctors and the relationships between them. Mm-hmm. Yep. But then onto the next thing. Onto the next thing. Mm-hmm. Yep. That's how it is. Mm-hmm. Okay. Well that note, okay, this has been Hannah and Calissa and Sarah. Bye.
