Well, welcome everybody. Hello. We're back. It's been. 84 years. We say that every time, but it is not gonna be 84 years anymore. We'll have a semi consistent schedule after this. Yeah, because Calissa is going back to night shift, baby. I like how you talked about yourself in third person just there, but also Lady of the night coming in, lady coming, coming in, snaps for that baby. Um, so back to three 12 hour shifts a week. That's gonna be so nice. It's gonna be. So what, what made you,'cause before you were a Monday through Friday. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. What didn't you like about that? Eight to four, right? Eight to four. Monday through Friday, 6 45 to three 15. First of all, not a morning person. Um, yeah, like not a get out, weren't you just at the late, at five, at five 30 this morning? Guess I was girl. Good. We'll get to that. We'll get to that. Yeah. We'll, yeah. Yes. Fitness is a whole subject, subject of itself, but um, yeah, we, we've all got stuff to share. It's. Just did not fit for me. Mm-hmm. And, um, management, my team is awesome. If I had the best chance at success at being a leader in the nursing field, I had it. And I have had it shout out to that group. Yes. Shout out to that group. Yeah. Um, they, I was so well supported. I was not overworked, I was not, you know what I mean? Mm-hmm. All of the things. And it just wasn't for me. The actual physical sitting in an office was not for me. And I worked my first night shift on Sunday night and I had a sweet old lady and she was so sick, and I just spent so much time just loving on her and getting her warm blankets and getting her her fentanyl and all of the things, and I was just like, this is what I'm supposed to do. Yeah. So that's, so you were behind, you were mostly behind a desk? Yes. Okay. Correct. Which, like crazy. Wanted to get your hands dirty. Yes. So to speak. Okay. Hopefully not like dirty. No Dirty with gloves. No poop with gloves. Gloves with gloves still. No, but that's, you know, that's what you notice, like, yeah. Mm-hmm. Okay. That's my bread and butter. Yep. She's a physical worker. This girl. Yes. Yeah, that's, that's lady of the night stuff. And um, I had an interesting revelation as well. I have told you guys before that I've kind of been off the flight nurse brain. Mm-hmm. I don't even know if I've, that's even come up because I've been off of it for so long. We've definitely talked about it because, but it was a while, probably a year ago. It's been a while because I've always had like this one specific fear of this one specific instance. And anyway, I was chatting with a friend who was asking about a friend to see if they would be, uh, a good flight nurse candidate. Hmm. And she's like, you know, I'm so surprised I haven't seen your name come up in the application. She's currently a flight nurse. Mm-hmm. And she's doing a part of the interviewing and stuff. And I'm like, first of all, that was like such a compliment. Yeah. Of like, like she was asking you why you're not. Yes. Okay. You have to be like top tier for that kind of stuff because it's so high pressure. And I'm like, I didn't realize that I had like an in there. Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. But she's like, yeah girl, you would do totally rock it. And I'm like, what's their shift schedule? Like 24 hours. Okay. But like once a week? Uh, twice a week. Twice a week. Oh, that's okay. Yeah, so usually like 48 hours a week, that's not bad. Yeah. So that means what? What do you do? What, what is that? You literally go on a helicopter and you have like, so you're, when someone's being airlifted? Yes. That's you. That would be me. Oh, wow. So definitely keeping my eyes open for jobs as far as that goes. They say it takes an average of seven to eight interviews before you get your first lightener position, and I've had four negative interviews. Oh no. Wait, and I, what, what does that mean? Negative, not gotten the job offer. Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. So definitely considering that part of my life again and seeing if that's something that I'd wanna look into in the future. Ooh, that's like crazy. Yeah. To think about. Yeah. So, um, doing some like low key prep work on the side for that. Maybe getting my CFRN again. Mm-hmm. Activated. Um, it's a big test. A big class. Yeah. So just kind of keeping an open mind as far as that goes. I was really scared of one specific point, which is intubation. Mm. Which is when you put the tube down someone's throat. Uhhuh. Yes. And being in charge of that and means like. Managing all of the people that are involved in that. Absolutely. And you have to be the expert in the room in that. Right. Woohoo. And I've never done it before, so ever. No, you've never done Oh, well I've been a, I've been a part of the team. Right, right, right, right. Many, many, many times. But you've not been the leader, not been the person putting the tube in. So scary. I know. Because when I think when someone's being airlifted mm-hmm. Like that's a very serious, that's high pressure. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. That's crazy. I've been at the hospital, been the nurse receiving the airlifted patient. Okay. So you have like the flip end many times. Yes. Especially when I worked in Mason City.'cause patients would fly in there right? Right. All the time. And then come to the ICU U Okay. Or we'd be flying patients. I've been caring for a patient who's going to be out. Okay. So, so yeah. That's So the patient, the patient's situation isn't really come to your mind, like it doesn't scare you. It's just, it doesn't scare me as much anymore. It's just, it's just taking charge and taking the lead. Yes. Yes. And hearing. Someone who I've worked, I honestly haven't worked that much with her, just have that impression of me that you could totally do this. You're capable. Yeah, you are capable. Yeah. I was like, wow. That is just the confidence boost that I needed. I feel like. Plus it be. I don't ever wanna be in this situation personally, but I just wanna experience Calissa as a nurse. I know Sarah well. Well I'll Melissa, care for me. I'll throw you down the stairs. Oh no. Hopefully Alyssa see's fine. I broke my leg and need you, girl. That's what I want. I just wanna know what it's like to be cared for by Calissa. Well, a same like I would love to be a student in your classroom. Mm-hmm. Okay. You know what I mean? Just like experience you in the different context. I think we could do it right now, girl. Yep. Yep. So, and Hannah, you can cut my hair anytime. Sure. I know she does cut my hair. Yes. So I thought you gonna say you wanna see me on the other end of pickleball? Oh my gosh. We should play together still. Oh my gosh. Yeah. We, that needs to come up. We'll have to talk about that later. Yeah. Pick ball during our, our exercise segment. Yes. Yeah. Yep. Yep. Should we go there? Yeah, we can. We can. Mm-hmm. Let's talk about it. Yeah. Exercise. I feel like we need to catch up with you because we see each other, we talk to each other. I know. Go to have not seen you in a a while. I know. I know. And why is that? If you wanna start there. Why is that? I hurt myself. Mm-hmm. Well, I don't think you hurt yourself. I don't really know exactly what happened. Like it's very common in pickleball to have knee issues. Yeah. Just with like the stopping, starting the quick movements, like side to side stuff. And so my knees had been very sore and it was just like. That's just part of it. Like I have tennis elbow, you're just sore and I'm overweight. So like, it just, I think, compiles on top of like regular soreness. Um, and so then a couple weeks ago, gosh, it's been like three weeks, literally. Like three weeks. I know I'm, I'll get to the depression part of that, but like. I was sitting on the couch and my legs were kind of folded up this next to me. Yeah. Like this, right? Yeah. Laying down on the couch with my legs like tucked next to me. So like, like this? Yeah. My one knee is like inverted. Yeah. Towards my body. Makes sense. And Gus, my big boy Gus. Mm-hmm. He's a big boy now, and he came and he was like leaning on my leg that was inverted. And I don't know what happened, but the next morning I woke up and I could not walk. I was in so much pain, excruciating. I have never been in so much pain. Oh no. So much pain. And you didn't hear a snap or nothing? I didn't hear anything at the time. Like I had regular soreness that I usually have when I sit like that. Sometimes my knee is sore afterwards, but like stretched it out, felt fight afterwards. Went to bed later that night. Totally fine. Woke up the next morning. Thought I was dying, thought I needed to have my leg amputated. It hurt so badly. Oh my gosh. And like sometimes it would get better and then all of a sudden it would be terrible again. And I, excuse me, flame, probably it was, and my leg would swell and like it was literally above my knee all the way down to my toes would feel like just tight. And oh my gosh, it was terrible. Thinking about it like makes me feel a certain way, but it's been like three weeks and I spent the last two of them in a brace and not playing pickleball and. I think we're finally on the, the up and up, like we're getting there.'cause I, this weekend and yesterday didn't wear my brace and by the end of the day I just had like, manageable pain. So I was like, okay, I think we're, we're gonna get there. Like it's, we been three weeks and probably it'll be three or four more before like we're back to normal. But yeah. What did the doctor tell you to She didn't tell me anything. She basically just told me to wear the brace. And I think part of it too is just we don't have insurance. We use it like a health share. I'm sure she doesn't want me to have to pay for the imaging for that'cause it's expensive. Mm-hmm. Does she want you to like, uh, do I never called her back closer. I never called her back. Okay. Oh, you know me. That was a message. You know me. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's not. I really like, I really like her. Okay. And I totally understand the way you're like, I'm called her Max. No, that's just a me issue. I, there have been many times. I've gone to the doctor for something and they're like, oh yeah, so call me back in a week and tell me how things are going. And then I just don't, yeah, because I hate phone calls and I hate gonna the doctor and I would rather just suffer and die. Oh, Sarah. So that's just a me issue and I don't know. But yeah, so. Because I haven't seen Sarah. I think it was like four days in that week. And I'm like, where is she? Mm-hmm. And Calvin would always make jokes like, oh, she's a Crip now. And he would just like, he thought it was just joking of like Crip or Crip dancing. Like crippled. He crippled, not like Crip, like the gang, but like he clarify. Yeah. Just in case he would like played it off. And then I know because he thought I was making it up, he thought I was exaggerating. I was like, I'm not, I'm literally couldn't get outta the bathtub. Couldn't get in and outta the car without crying. Oh my gosh. Because like, just lifting my leg, trying to bend it, trying to unbend it. That was the worst. Yeah. Couldn't take my socks off. My dad brony helped me take my socks off and put my socks on. Wow. Like, had a hard time putting underwear and pants and stuff on, like getting, I had to have Calvin help me put my brace on. Like it just, yeah. But he was just playing it off like he was nothing. And then when I saw him that pickleball, he's like. She hurt her knee and like she's like crying every time she walks and I'm like, Calvin. Mm-hmm. You keep playing it off, like whatever. Mm-hmm. She's really hurt. Mm-hmm. And so then I had a message, Sarah, I'm like, tell me exactly what happened. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Those conversations need to happen in our group chat, so I can also stay in the loop. So yeah. Okay. Sorry. Yeah, well, I mean like that's okay, but this is content because I didn't know you were hurting that much. This is content baby. It's content baby. Well, and because like it didn't affect anything that we had going on. So I was just like, Hmm, okay. Well I don't know. But yeah, I had a really bad like depressive episode on Wednesday, crying and just like, I sat in the bathtub for like three hours that morning. Just depressed. The next day after your leg? No, this was like two, this was literally last week on Wednesday. I just like sat in the bathtub crying for like three hours. So I was like, well, it's really hard'cause we've talked about the issue, the mental issue that comes with like food. And like eating and being overweight, and then to find something that's active that I've enjoyed for the first time you does. Mm-hmm. In like 15 or 20 even years. Yeah. And I'm like, man, I do this every single day for hours every day, and now nothing. Yeah. And I'm like, I can feel myself being depressed, eating more. Not having motivation even for just like regular life things again, and I'm just like struggling. I'm gonna quote legally blonde when she's like. Exercise gives you endorphins. Yeah. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don't kill people. Yeah. It's like that's probably what you were missing is something. Yeah. Yeah. That's how I felt with my shoulder dislocation. Yeah. After I played, you know, I did that in pickleball. Yep. And I was very, like, I didn't, and she was only like 11 days. Right. Is that what you said? Uh, what, 11 days that you were out, um, from pickleball. It was like a good two weeks. Yeah. Yeah. But I was like, what am I gonna do, Nick? I know I found something I love and it hurt me. Yep. And he's like, you just kind of have to either work around it or maybe Yeah. He can relate. Yeah. He's the king of that. So he's the king of it for you. For context, he has torn his pec bench. Pressing. He's torn. His knees gonna do juujitsu, you know, but uh, he's like, you either work with it or you quit. And I'm like, I can't quit. I know, like. So, um, yeah, just a lot of pt. Yeah. Like doing all my PT exercises. There's still sometimes where it like kinda wobbles out, kinda weird. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, can't do that. Mm-hmm. So I feel like I'm limited, but I try to play a different game. But I do feel like I've also noticed speaking on that, playing a different game. Mm-hmm. I've noticed that like, there have been good improvements, I think in your game though, because of that. I know. So like you found the workarounds that work for you? Yes. Yeah. So like. Sucks. But also it's been good. Yes. Like over hand swings where you bring your mm-hmm. Like volleyball. If you were to spike a ball, I'm too scared to do that.'cause I'm afraid I'm gonna rip out my shoulder again. So instead I just try to play a really low game. I like to stay at the net, keep everything low. I try. Mm-hmm. And I think sometimes it works, but then there's other people who like to slam right at your feet. That's me. I like to play a hard game. Yeah. And Sarah, I like to play back. When we played together, she was the overhand hitter. Mm-hmm. And I was the, I'm just trying to get the ball over the net. Yeah. I'm the run around person, but everyone misses you at pickleball. They ask me all the time, where's Sarah's Sarah? Where's your Sarah? Where's your friend? Where's your partner? That makes me feel a little better, but Yeah. Yeah. And well, I was talking to one of the ladies at. The one over there. Across, yeah, across in the other town that we play at. Yeah. And she was like, well, she can always just come here and I'll walk with her. Aw. And we can walk together. That's really nice. And I was like, you know, I think she really needs to come here and just. Everyone, the atmosphere know everyone literally misses you. And then I've thought about it, but one of the ladies, it's like embarrassing too. Just FYI. It's not. No, it's not. It's embarrassing. But no, because they've all, there's 80-year-old people playing there and they're doing fantastic. And I've 30, they've had back surgeries. One lady just came back from a hip surgery, she's like, I haven't played and oh my gosh, six months. So like she's going through hip surgery. Yeah, knee surgeries. They've all had it once going through cancer. Oh my gosh. Yeah. I mean, so like play against him, but like they understand like they're not gonna judge you for that. Yeah, yeah. But they really do ask about you and they're like, where's your one friend? I miss her. Ah, do, I'm a loud player and I know it bothers some people, but I just can't help myself. I do. Oh, she is like, it just always made me laugh. I'm like, I'll tell her that. That's so sweet. And I was like, no, because when Sarah isn't there, like there was like one week I'm like. Pickleball kind of sucks. Like the vibes are just different when you don't do it with your friends. No, it's like I'm, it's totally different playing with like, I'm glad we started together. Yes. But it also can go, are you Sarah or Hannah? I know, which is crazy. We look nothing alike. Hannah, like, come on. I've gotten told multiple times that we look like each other, and I'm like, that what I've got. And I'm like, are you crazy? Excuse me. Hannah's literally brown. Brown and Sarah's past, like she, she has dark hair, dark eyes. A medium skin tone and I'm like so white you guys could not be more different. Like it's crazy, but I get a lot of messages that like people are like, oh, I know your voice, but I cannot tell Santa Santa and Har I heard that too. They're like, sometimes I think Sarah's Hannah. And I'm like, really? I don't think we sound alike either. I don't know, but, but I think when, like when our personalities are, I think are very similar. Yeah. In some ways for sure. That's what. Some people are like, oh, they're both kinda loud and seriously innovative and I think we, we feed off each other, which is kind of sometimes good, sometimes not good in certain situations. So, yeah. But it's a lot. I'm still glad we started together because I think I wouldn't have had the, the butt to continue. No. If we weren't there together. No. Yeah. So I messaged Sarah when I saw Parks and Rec flyer and I was like, Hey, do you wanna try this with me? Aw. Yeah, but the ladies were very nice. They were, they were very patient with, with us. We still play with them sometimes. Oh yeah, we still do. Yeah. Um, she invited us to go see. Devil Wears Prada. Devil Wears Prada. I want the second one. I'm excited. Yeah, that'll be good. Because May is this Friday? You guys have read Verity, right? Speaking of Hanaway. Yes. And that's coming up. Did you see the trailer? Did you see the trailer? I didn't see the trailer. I was waiting, I did see the trailer. I didn't even know what the book's about, but that looks like a, is it a horror thriller? Yeah, it's like a. I wouldn't say it's hor. Yeah. Suspense would be suspense. Thriller. Yeah. Yeah. And it's a Colleen Hoover. Yeah, it is. But listen. Okay. But no, people think that someone else wrote that book because apparently the voice is very different from all of her other books. Absolutely. Okay. I've never read any other books, get Colleen Hoover so many times and I cannot, but very, I hate that book up. What exactly I, where I was when the plot twist happened, like, oh my gosh, that was good. I really did like it. Hannah's just like, what? No, I saw the trailer and I was like, I think, I think you'll like the movie. Well, obviously, yeah, but I saw the movie trailer and I was like, this is a Colleen Hoover book. I know, know The voice is so different from, it ends with us. Mm-hmm. Yes. Cvis, I'm like. Huh. Mm-hmm. So, I'm excited to see the movie. Yes, I know. Me too. It'll be good. I, I really do wanna prepare. Let's go together. Yeah. Maybe I'll drive over here for your fancy movie theater. See? Okay. And you've never been to our movie theater? Yes. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Okay. I'm excited. Fun Girl Day. I'm excited. Wooo. We'll make it a whole day. We can like see a matinee. We can play pickleball that day. We really need, we do need a whole day. We do know we always do pickle ball in the morning. Lunch. Yes. And then we can see a matinee movie. Yes. Yes. Photo shoot. We need some new updated pages. Yes, we do. We do. We do. We do. Yes. Yes. Okay. Thank you. That's I was trying to do, I can't do it. You can't roll your, your well. It just gets, are you serious? That was pretty good. Can't believe I just did that. That was pretty good. You can roll, can't you? So then I just go, oh, you can't pur like a cat. Oh, see this. It's the same. Let's talk about cats. Oh yeah. I've been following your Facebook posts about those pretty religiously. Just FYI stalker. I know because for some reason you never come up on my timeline, Hannah, but Calissa comes up on my timeline all the time. I haven't posted. Oh, okay. Well maybe that's why then. Well, I just, yeah, so from your, your, there's so many different ways that we can go, but you said cats. So now I'm gonna go to cats. Cats, because you guys saw my list of stuff to talk about it. When you originally sent this in the group message, I thought you meant the musical. And I was like, mm, no, I don't know about this. No. But then I, I tracked a every song and the music, memory, memory, moon. I only know that because of School of Rock. School of Rock, yeah. Miranda. Yes. Cosgrove. Cosgrove. Yes. Have you never seen that? I've seen it, but she stands up and sings in class. He's like, who can sing? And she's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Which, like, that was totally a put on like that movie. Yeah. Bad at bad, um, voice. But Age of 17, that's where, what introduced me to Stevie Nicks age of 17. Oh, the song? Yeah. When they're in the diner. I see. That's like the one. Gotcha. Gotcha. Yeah. Gotcha. And I was like, oh yeah, what is this? Mm-hmm. Fantastic. YouTube it and I was like, who is Steven? We saw them in concert like 10 years ago. What a rabbit hole. 15 years ago. Yeah. And cats. Cats. Okay. Okay, continue. Sorry. So Mama Cat. Brought her babies over to the egress window at my parents' house. Mm. My parents. My parents. Your mom. My mom's house. My dad's dead. Anyway, it still counts. Still counts. It does, yeah. Anyway. Do ever just, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't do that, but. I can imagine that you would. Yes. Um, so the egress window, it's like way down. It's like eight foot down. Oh my gosh. Yeah. There's like a ladder to get down there. How'd she get in there? Yes. I have no idea. And she had four little baby kitties. Ooh. Um, this is not apparently her first litter, I would imagine, according to the lore of the neighborhood. Ooh. So, uh, but this is the first litter that will be saved and she will get spayed. And the kittens will get spayed. Oh, nice. Oh, that, that'll be so much better for the neighborhood in general. Yes. Yeah. So very excited about that opportunity. Yay. It's just looks like a such a pivotal part in their lives. Like think of like what if she hadn't come to that egress window, like where she would just be, keep spitting out babies and the babies would spit out babies and yeah, they just running feral, but now they'll have a real chance at a really good life. So I'm just so excited. One of'em has a, you're fostering little eye infection. Foster, you're fostering Yes. Fostering all four. Four. Yeah. Because all four. Well, didn't you say you quit the foster game and then was it this litter that came in that turned you or was it the one before This litter. Okay. Yeah, because they're in our garage. They're in our attached garage. We don't have'em in our house, but we go out and visit'em every day. Bring the mom food and water. She's still feeding'em. And um, they're so cute. That is cute. They're so cute. And the boys just love'em. And I love that I'm teaching them. Empathy. Yes. So many aspects of life. Yes. Yeah. Of just like, like I, I went in the house yesterday and they didn't want to come out and see him because they're kind of like over it or whatever. No. And so I went in the house. I'm like, guys. One of the babies is sick and they all just tear into the garage. Oh. And it's like you when a mama bird, it's just an eye infection, but it'll be okay. They always get eye infections, but they are so gross. Like, I'm gonna get this wax out of her eye. And he like sat there and gently massaged the kitten's eye until like, and he's like, we gotta get her medicine. I'm like, I'm gonna teach you how to do the medicine. You have to do that. There could be a future vet in your house right now? Yes. Yes. So that's sweet. Anyway. Loving the kittens. Loving the cats. It's such been, Craig and I talk all the time about how like such a good addition it was to our family. Yeah. With like mittens and fern and boots and we just, we just thought about, I thought it was gonna be like, you know, everyone was gonna cry. Like, I want her. Yeah. I thought you were gonna run into that problem a lot. Well, that's how you got the last two cats that you have. Craig was super stick on Fern. That's the second one, right? That's the third one. Oh, that was the third. Okay. Because Fern went to an adoption event and Craig's like, we're lost without her. Oh. Because we call her our shitty kitty.'cause she always comes and visits you when you're in the bathroom and she'll put her little paws up on your underwear while you're sitting on the, the top. That's so funny. Cute. So Fern in the bathroom, kitty. She's just protective when you're pooping. She, she's looking out. She is. She's so sweet. And Craig's like, I just miss her. So like, okay, well we can't let her go again. I told you that Nick and I were thinking about getting a cat shut up. Yeah. What I mean, just because of your stories and everything. Yes. Yeah. And then when we go over to my sister-in-law's house, she's got like 12 animals in her home. She just added a turtle. Oh gosh. Yeah. But she has a cat and my youngest always like, while all the kids are playing together, he's always in the corner with the her kitty and just sits by her and just pets her. And she would always send me a photo and she's like, I think. You need a cat, like cash only wants to play with a cat. Yeah. So I talked to Nick about it and I was like, you know, Issa's family actually really love their foster kitties. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So we went to the Humane Society and we were looking at all these kitties. We went in the kitten room. Oh my God. We were attached. Overwhelmed. Yeah. It's so fun. Mm-hmm. And then, you know, we filled out an application and everything, um, but after we got home, Nick was super. Eye rich, eye itchy eyes. Yep. Red. They were watering like crazy. He's like, why are my eyes so itchy? Mm-hmm. And I was like, I think you're so allergic. There is a dose factor to it. He probably, if it's not a super bad allergy, he could have a like form a tolerance Yes. To your cat. That, and if he's not, it could also make it worse because Craig has had allergies to cats. Carver had Cal allergies to cats and. He like if Craig, if the cats are like really shedding, like right now they're really shedding with winter because they're getting rid of their fur. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Craig is a little bit stuffy and kind of eyes watery, but other than that he was like very allergic to cats. And now just the dose of cats and his interaction with the cats. Mm-hmm. It's not a problem. Yeah. So it might just be because you were literally attacked, uh, you have so many cats. We, we were petting a lot of cats and we were like in the cat rooms and everything and it was kind of overwhelming. And you know, the place called us. They're like, yeah, you're approved. Which I thought was kind of crazy because everyone in this town hates that place because they feel like nobody can get an animal question that just has to do, I think with this kind of person. Huh? That has to do with the person, I think. I guess. But I, you know, some of the questions were like, you know, if the cat were to jump on your table, what are you gonna do? Yeah. I think they just wanna know how you were gonna train it, how you gonna discipline it, right? Mm-hmm. They don't want you to write. I'm gonna hit it every day. I'm gonna, and shove it into water, gray water garbage. Yeah. No. Yeah. But then some of them were like, um, if you guys were to move or pass away, who's gonna get this animal? Mm-hmm. And I was like, oh, I've got sisters who would happily take another animal. Yeah. I got a brother who would happily take another one. Like he would take cats. Yeah. Nathan's got cats and dogs. Really? Okay. Oh, I thought he just had the dog. Mm-hmm. Or two dogs. He's got two dogs. Four kitties. Oh boy. Okay. My one sister-in-law, she's got, she added a gecko and a snake. Yeah. She has three dogs or something. Doesn't, she's got two dogs. And then my other sister, she's got three dogs, two cats, turtle. Yeah. What's one more? Yeah, literally once you get to a point, it's like, yeah, whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I mean, that was our cat journey. Oh. And we just, you know, I thought about. Just wanted like a little bed by the plants. Mm-hmm. And have her just sit up there and sleep. Yes. And Nick's like, you just wanna plant. I really did. I mean, cats are really nice. Companion animals. Yes. Yeah. They're not like overbearing, like, well I guess they can be like dogs. They're, they're so low maintenance. Like, yeah. Granted we have automatic feeder automatic water. Mm-hmm. Automatic kitty litter box. But like for the most part, they're not constantly like a solo maintenance. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Boots me out at me this morning at like five o'clock.'cause our door accidentally shut. Somehow in the night, so she couldn't get out. That was about the most attention I've paid to her in 24 hours. Yeah. Like not no attention, like required. If not, you know, of course we love our cats, but like for the most part, they don't require, like dogs do. Like you have to be let out, you have to walk him, you have to. Baxter is up my butt all the time. He follows me around, which I love him. He's, that's my dog. He follows me around, like every time I get up, he's there and he is staring at me and watching me walk, and then he follows me in the other room and like mm-hmm. So. Does he ever get, does he ever show like his protective side if like you and Calvin play fight, does he Not anymore. When we first got them, yeah. Bees used to be like my attack dog. He would bark at Calvin and pretty, he was a chihuahua and so it was pretty funny. Oh yeah. You should tell everyone that they're tired. Oh yeah. We had bees and he was a little, he was, he's what? He was what was called a deer leg chihuahua. So they have really long legs, but the small little body still, and he looked like a literal bat. He had, he was black and he had the ears and like the dark eyes and like the long nose and yeah, he was so cute. And he was my little baby, but he was naughty. Aw. He was very vindictive and like angry when we would, I don't even like keep him away from us. Yeah. So like if we had guests or something, like I would put him in his room and then he'd pee on the floor and he was just very chihuahua. So he would go outside and then would be too cold, even though it was 50 degrees. And then he'd come back outside and pee on the floor. So he was very naughty and he got really old and he just, yeah. But we have Baxter and Olga still Baxter's like a little terrier. Mm-hmm. And he's so sweet. And Olga's getting, the cops called on her. Olga. Yeah. Did I tell you about that? No. Okay. Olga is getting the cops called on her. Okay. My little 12-year-old. She's 11 and a half. She's an old lady. Okay. She can hardly stand up on her own. She is a, she's a Saint Bernard. Saint Bernard. Oh my gosh. Big old dog. She's Saint Bernard. So she's a big dog. She's got a big bark. Yeah. Okay. And I think, I never hear her bark. I think part of the issue is that she scared them. Hmm. I don't think the barking was as much the issue as it was maybe that she scared them. Your dog scared this neighbor? I think so, because when I, so we're like, well, let me tell you the story and then I'll tell you whatever. Okay. Backstory? Yeah. So. When was this? Two weeks ago, maybe right before I got injured. Maybe three weeks ago. A few weeks ago. You were still, yeah. You were still, yeah, a handful weeks ago. Cop comes to our door and we're like, what's going on? What the heck? So I get a text'cause Calvin's home and I'm at work and he's like, cough just came Animal control. Someone called the cops on us because Ulka was barking in the backyard. And I'm like, what? And you've lived in this home for, we've lived here since we bought our house. Yeah. Like this was our first house. Yeah. Started our family here, had our dogs the whole time. Been there 11 and a half years at this point. Never an issue. Never had an issue. There's been, there's some rental properties around. No one's ever said a word. We've talked to our own actual neighbors and we're like, Hey, has this ever bothered you? Do our dogs bother you? And they're like, no, no issue. We've never heard'em. Blah, blah, blah, whatever. So we get this call and we're like, well shoot. Okay. And so we just like let it go and we're like, okay, well, we're just aware of it. So maybe the weekend passes. And then Monday I get home from work. I let her go out, let her in probably 10 minutes later, and then five, 10 minutes after that cop shows up at her door again and they're like, Hey, this same lady called the cops on you again. And I'm like. What, why? And they're like, they say that she's out there barking in the backyard at for 15 minutes.'cause the law is apparently that they can only bark 15 minutes in 24 hours. I'm like, I'd be calling the neighbors every day. And I was like, first of all, no.'cause I was literally standing there and when she barked to come in, I went and let her in.'cause that's how she tells us she's ready to come in. She stands to the door, she barks once and so then I go let her in. And I'm like, that didn't happen. She was out there barking for sure.'cause there were some kids two yards over that were playing and they were loud and she heard them. She saw them. She was barking at'em. Yeah, but that's her yard, like of course she is. Yeah. She's a freaking dog. Like what do you expect? Oh, okay. So we're talking to the cops and he's like, yeah, she says that you let her out too early, seven o'clock and you let her out too late, eight 30 and that like her baby sleeps during the day and he, she barked and it woke her kid up from a nap and her husband works nights and she barks and it woke her husband up. And I'm like, how's that my problem? Yeah. Yeah. She's a dog, she's outside. It's daytime hours and you live in town. Let her do her business like she's a dog. That's her yard. Yeah. Let her chill. She's been, this is her yard for the last 12 years. Almost like, leave her be, and he's like, just so you know, if she has to call again, she said she's gonna press charges. Yeah. Against a dog. I didn't know you could do against us. And so we've spent the last however many weeks going outside with her, limiting their outside time. And we bought them muzzles, we bought them training treats. So we're having to try to retrain them at 12 years old. Oh. And I'm just like her. They're sad inside now because their outside time is restricted. Like we can't leave out there unattended. This is what I think of she is, I think of the Peter Pan dog nana. But I do understand that she's a big dog and her bark is scary. And if she has a, a small child. I can understand maybe how that would've scared the baby and like maybe that scared the mom and that's why, I don't know. You live in town. I, but I know, and I'm just like, they don't bark excessively. Do they bark sometimes? Of course they do. They're dogs. They dogs. It's not excessive. Yeah. So, yeah, I don't know. Yeah, that's, I know. So Nick wanted to, you know, drive by that house every day. And we do just squeal his tires. We do drive by every single day. Do you know day? Do you know who it is? We have a pretty good idea based on the description of just like the way that the cop came and he was like looking at our backyards. Yeah. He's like, oh, you backyards aren't even connected. They don't even touch, like, you can't, I can't even see her backyard from here. And I was like, Hmm. So I would just Interesting, interesting. Have her call a third time. Waste their time. I know, but I, so we, I I don't even understand how that would work, because you'd have to have evidence, right? Yeah. Like if she filed against us, she would have to have e evidence that it happened. Yeah. Otherwise it would be dismissed. Absolutely. So I'm kind of like, is this just a threat? Like should we even bother a threat? Like It is, it's a threat. I just, and the fact that she can't even this grown person, a grown adult who can't talk to another adult. And have a, an adult conversation. Dude, we have Facebook Messenger these days. Just send'em a message on Facebook. I know, that's what I do. Dunno. With our neighbor, it's specifically, so we're like, we have an idea and we've talked to a few neighbors and like, Hey, do you know this person? Like, is this, could it be this person over here? And they're like, I don't know. I don't know.'cause it's a rental house over here. So they're not connected, but So if they're in a rental house and they don't have the time to, yeah. Go to court and Yeah. But we've asked, we asked the cop to like give the Lady Calvin's phone number and we were just like, Hey, like if there's anything we can do to work out a better schedule, like if there's certain days that, or certain times of the day that like, you don't want her out, we'll do our best to try to accommodate that. Like, yeah. We wanna be a good neighbor. Yeah. But she's also a dog and she has to go outside. She needs to do business outside. Yeah. So can you go out there with her and just film whole? We've whole thing. That's what we've done. That's what we've done. And then if she says, oh, this date, you can be like, that's what we've been doing actually. Yep. Look at her. That's what we've been doing. So I have stopped doing this because it's been so long at this point. It's been like three weeks ago, but I think Calvin still does when he takes her out. Yeah. He still videos. I would her time outside. Yeah. So that seems, I'm just, I'm so. Over it at this point. I'm so annoyed. And then along with all of your other last two to three weeks drama. I know. And it's just stupid. Just a crappy three weeks. Yeah. And I was like, I couldn't get in and out of the door for a little while. Watch, because it was actually you screaming, getting out of the car. Ah, literally. And she was like, that person's duck. Literally. Yeah. But we, oh, Calvin said that he heard her outside talking to her kid and she was really mean. Aw. So we're kinda like, Ooh, she must just not be a pleasant person to, to know or be around. Well, and then like. To have your ear out constantly for something to be constantly looking for the bad. Yes. That's one thing I'm taking away from like my time in management is like, right. You can be a manager that constantly looks for the good. Yes. And celebrate people. Yeah. And bring that up. Or you can be like the someone who constantly looks for the bad and it's so exhausting. I've been that person that's constantly looking for the negativity. Mm-hmm. And nobody wants to be that, I think For sure. Or be around that. She's just a miserable person. That's well seems because. She's putting all her time and energy on a dog. Yes. When maybe the husband is sleeping in when she's been up all night with the baby. Yep. Yeah. And then he takes it out on her. I don't know what it's, she takes it out on the kid. Yeah, kid. You know, she blows a pot and she takes it out on the neighbor's dog. She's like, my whole life is a wreck because of that Neighbor's dog. But it's really, it could be the husband, but it's made me super aware of what's going on in the neighborhood in terms of dogs. Mm-hmm. And I have noticed that there are dogs literally everywhere in this neighborhood that bark constantly. Oh yeah. The kids, which I've never noticed. Me and the kids, when we go walking in neighborhoods mm-hmm. There's a dog barking in a window or in their backyard. Mm-hmm. Constantly, constantly. Every time we are, we're just walking because that's a dog. That's a dog and they're protecting their property. They're like growling, almost growling. And so I'm like, I get it. She's. So I just, that makes me curious. Like someone started their motor motorcycle at six o'clock in the morning a couple weeks ago, and I'm like, I wonder if she called the cops on it. Did she call the cops? I heard a dog barking at like 10 o'clock the other night and I was like, oh, did she call the cops on him? I wonder. So I'm just like, the cops have gotta be so annoyed too. They have, have real lives to say. He was, I think Calvin did say we know him. Yeah. And he obviously didn't say that because he's professional. Professional, but um. Just sort of the exasperated of like, um, tone come on of his voice and his body language was like, yeah, this is obviously dumb. Yeah. So yeah. We've had a hectic couple of weeks. Yeah. So, yeah. Yeah. Um, I'm starting a family band. I say I need to know each person and what each person is doing. Okay. Um. Gannon electric guitar. Ooh, ooh. Because he's got the bangs for it. Ooh. Yeah. And he loves to look at me up through, like, through his bangs. Ooh. And he loves to like swipe his back. Very Justin Bieber. Very Justin Bieber. I love that. Um, so, and he's got the fingers for it. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. The long fingers. The super long fingers. Yeah. Perfect. Well, and he loves, um, danger zone. Mmm. That song from Top Gun. Mm-hmm. Ha. Way to The Danger, danger Zone. Yes. So that's gonna be the first song I'm gonna help him learn.'cause my favorite part, I took guitar lessons, obviously. Mm-hmm. I was in eighth grade when I started and I walked in and he, the first thing Dave said to me was, what song do you wanna play? There was no like book of like, this is how you play the ABCs. Mm-hmm. Like, I think that's, so I start stupid. Well, especially if you already, you know the piano, right? Isn't that what you said Craig does? Oh, Craig knows piano. Craig knows piano. Okay. So he could probably play guitar really easily. Yes. So Craig will be drums. Mm. Uh, Carver has chosen the piano. Ooh. So in Anders. He's there for the vibes. Tambourine there for the vibe. Tambourine symbols, egg shaker. Give him cymbals. Yeah. Egg shaker. But like, what's that? Uh, balaclava? Is that what the No, that's a like a hood. Um, that, that, whatever that thing is called. Let's give him moras. I'll, I'll do whatever Andrew wants. I love it. He is, honestly, he's gonna be the entertainer of the family as far as like singing front stage. Mm-hmm. Like shake it off. He's definitely like youngest child syndrome in that way. Oh. And so. I think that we are all taking lessons this summer and we're gonna have like musical Tuesdays.'cause I'm off on TU on Monday nights. So I'll have Tuesdays where Andrews goes to speech therapy or I'm gonna try to get him to like guitar lessons and piano lessons. Oh my gosh. And we are gonna have a musical summer. I would love to take voice lessons. Yes. Oh my gosh. If you find a good one. So fun. Yeah, let me know'cause I really wanna hear. Okay. I wanna hear your progress. Okay. Yes. And here's my thing, my issue that I have with my voice is I have so many voices. I can like mimic impersonate. Yeah. Impersonate. Oh yes. A lot of singers. Mm-hmm. But I don't have my own voice. Yes. So I wanna find like my own personal voice. Like I'm super into Ella Langley right now. Oh my gosh. Me too. No idea who that is. Yes. Um, you don't. Top of the charts. He's choosing Texas. I can tell by the way he's to stepping around the room. Is she country? Yeah. Yes. Okay. I don't, I don't listen to country. Oh. But she's, I just wanna be her. Her so bad. It hurt so bad, it hurt herself. I just wanna be her. I just wanna be her. Yeah. Cutter loves that song I love. And then I'm seeing like toddlers singing that song in their car seat and I'm like, that is my kid. And she is just so her vibe. Her whole, her hair actually her outfit. I just wanna be her so bad. She is known. I need to Google her. Hold on. She's known for like her bang. What's like Ella Langley ll her bangs. And then when you see I have good bang photos of her and all, I'm like without the bang glow up. I'm like the blow up. Where? Like search Ella Langley Before and after? Yes. Okay. She's beautiful. Beautiful. Are you looking at the, so beautiful. Are you looking at the bangs? I don't know what I'm looking at the bangs. I'm just looking at whatever. Just came up on Google. See? No. That's an old, that's an old her before. Okay. I'm just going to images. Okay. Her with bangs. Her with bangs, her with bangs. She looks like me from Secret Live and Mormon wives. Wait, that's too far away. I can't see that. I, it's kind of blurry. She hair. I feel like she just was very 2016 in the previous hair, very much changed her game. Like I think she is being absolutely absolute. I mean she definitely looks hot with bangs. Yes. I'll tell you that. She is a rocker. Oh my gosh. It's giving very like, um, seventies, like, um, Camaro pinup. Yeah. That's her, that's her vibe to me. I'm looking at this picture right here. Yes. She's like the fair faucet. You know, hair right now. Everybody. Yeah, she's the hair. Everybody wants, oh, this one. Ella Langley bangs. Yes. Her, Sabrina Carpenter has like the, you know, the Sabrina Carpenter bangs. She had her moment now, but her problem was that she was contouring her nose like a crazy person. Yeah. That was the issue with the before picture. But like I saw, saw, and she had no blush, which was again, very 2016, I saw her old makeup tutorial. I hate to see what she think when you look at me. Oh, what do you mean? Because you're like, she has no blush. I have no nothing. Well, but that's not what I mean. I mean, like she's full glam and she had no blush on. Oh, okay. It's, there's just a, okay. You'll have to watch. It's just not cohesive. Watch her old makeup, uh, videos because, you know, she very much used drugstore and a maybe a little bit of high end. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Um, that was before the bang moment. Mm-hmm. Yes. And now it's like, wow. Like she just looks like an entirely different person. And it really was just the hair and the wardrobe, but yeah. Mm-hmm. And she's an amazing songwriter. She plays her guitar, she writes her own songs. Not all of them, but she makes an effort. You know, some people just hope completely sing other people's songs. Yeah. Yeah. Um, just a huge Ella Langley fan right now. She's been top of the charts. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Okay. Interesting. The past three weeks, her choose in Texas video. Um, I think I was telling you Reese Witherspoon's daughter, wasn't it? She was the Oh, you were talking about that. It was the other girl, Caitlyn Butts. Oh, and the music video choose in Texas. Yeah. That was, I had no idea who you were talking about. No, it's Reese Withers, twin's daughter. Her name is, I'm gonna have to watch it. Ava, I believe. And then, yes, I do believe Ava's a daughter named Ava. Yeah. She had a, a really famous rodeo person. His name is JB Mooney. Oh. And I went on a rabbit hole on him, on TikTok. He won a million dollars because he was like the longest riding like, I think seven minutes. Wow. That's crazy. On a bull or a, I think it was a bull Bronco or whatever. It's, yeah. No, Bronco was a horse. No bull. I think pretty sure it was a bull was a horse. But everybody loved that. He retired that bull. Like after, you know, he won the million dollars. He took the bull home in its pasture, living his life. Wait. Aw, do. When you're a bull rider, do you bring your own bull? No, BYOB. That's really funny. Funny. No, I think they just, you know, if the, it's old, they might just, I don't know. Interesting. I don't know. I need to know more about bull riding, but everyone, you know, all the animal lovers we're like, oh, he got to retire the bowl. Mm-hmm. Just like he retired himself from rodeo. Yeah. But he was in that music video. I was like, huh. I had no idea. Yeah. And she's got a song out with Morgan Wallen right now, which she's toured with Morgan Wallen. He's a controversial character. I know, I've heard that. Yeah. So like now everyone hate when people are like, I like that song that he did with postal and everything with it. I think they forget like Johnny Cash went to jail and like, I think everybody's got like sort of a history about them. Yeah. And so like. You. I hate to be the person to be like, it was a different era back then, but it kind of was. It kind of was like social acceptability was way different. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. When we were kids and like, you know, I know the early two thousands they can try to cancel them. They can't cancel them. Yeah. They really cannot. It takes a lot more usually too. I have a lot of, I have a lot of respect for Morgan Wallen, just in his, again, songwriting. I'm kind of a songwriting nerd. Mm-hmm. I like to look at the credits to see who has written what and. And then he was just in Minneapolis not too long ago. I think. Like everybody was there for two days. Everybody was there. Really? My whole time. Like my whole Snapchat? Yes. Wow. Everyone was at Morgan Wallen. Wow. Yes. I mean, he went to the US Bank Stadium. Mm-hmm. I don't know what difference is. Oh, yeah. Where Taylor Swift was. Right. Okay. Yeah. So I'm like, he sells out arenas. Yeah, he sells stadiums. Stadiums, sorry. Yeah. He sells out stadiums, but he will not be at an award show. Yeah, he won't be nominated. Because specifically they don't, he's been interesting, canceled, um, well, he's, he said the N word. Yeah. Oh yeah. And then there was a time where the Tennessee, that strip where all everyone's country bars are at. Mm-hmm. He threw a chair off a bar and I think he hit somebody. Oh, that's not good. Um, he said some questionable behavior. Yeah. Not anymore than, like I said, Johnny Cash. Mm-hmm. Or other. Yeah. Had some extreme behavior for sure. During his time. I mean, for sure. The, yeah. That's not, that has, I think canceling people has nothing to do with holding people accountable, in my opinion. Yeah. So I, I don't know what they want. It's almost like a witch hunt. Two separate things. Yeah. Um, with, I gotta hate somebody. Yeah. I, you guys probably didn't watch Low Island. No, I don't have that. Well, should we get into a pop culture? I feel like we've got a lot Yeah. For this episode. About Did you, you talk, started to get into my health issues. Oh, okay. Well, let's. Let's pause and then yeah, we can do like however many episodes you wanna, we'll do like three episodes. Yeah. Whatever. Okay. This is, thanks for coming to part one. Yes. Yes. And, and.
