The Diary of Real Britain
I'm a 57 Year old Disabled man. I have worked for 37.5 continuous years. This Podcast Chronicles the struggles I have while making the journey of life. From putting food on the table to looking after the car and cat. From doing the shopping and going to work. From going to the gym and socialising. And carrying out my political activism. I then keep the Diary of Real Britain to tell people of this journey. To tell them of the Britain I live in.
The Diary of Real Britain
Episode 63 Monday 17th March
Monday. Today my wife had another blood test at Newmarket Park and Ride. We were here some time ago and we waited for a long time. But today thankfully was a short wait. Then home and we did the usual activities. Tuesday. Its off to work again. Its a repeat of last tuesday as activity remains quiet. Its strange as the day is warm and sunny. At the end of the day I go home and in the evening I relax. Wednesday. If this carries on there will be no diary as there will not be anything to write. So home and cook the works food. Thursday. Gladly its a quiet day as I feel very tired. Friday. I am now starting to regret my decision to have my annual leave at the end of April as I am now getting very tired. At the end of the day I hand in the keys and off home. Saturday. After another delayed gym session as its at 2pm and only for 45 minutes. Then straight home. Sunday. The usual Sunday politics on the T.V and then off to bar hill to do the weekly shop. Then home. Then help to cook the Sunday Roast.
