I'm a 57 Year old Disabled man. I have worked for 37.5 continuous years. This Podcast Chronicles the struggles I have while making the journey of life. From putting food on the table to looking after the car and cat. From doing the shopping and going to work. From going to the gym and socialising. And carrying out my political activism. I then keep the Diary of Real Britain to tell people of this journey. To tell them of the Britain I live in.
The Diary of Real Britain
Episode 64 Monday 24th March
Monday. After the excitement of the past few weeks today is back to the usual. I deal with the paperwork and Social Media. Then after lunch i hit the gym. And then to the supermarket and home. Tuesday. Its another week back at work. Its a bit weird Its again another lovely glorious day. But no tourists. Oh! well at least the buildings are clean. I end the day and head for home. I sit in the evening and relax. Wednesday. Another day at work but I am tired already even though its day 2. That holiday can't come quick enough. Thursday. Another bland day. So there isn't anything to write about. Friday. Thank god! its the end of the week. because its so quiet on the round. At the end of the day I hand in the keys and head for home. Saturday. Again a much reduced gym session and then home and have the rest of the day to relax! Sunday. The usual Sunday politics, weekly shop at bar hill, home. And then help with the Sunday Roast.
