I'm a 57 Year old Disabled man. I have worked for 37.5 continuous years. This Podcast Chronicles the struggles I have while making the journey of life. From putting food on the table to looking after the car and cat. From doing the shopping and going to work. From going to the gym and socialising. And carrying out my political activism. I then keep the Diary of Real Britain to tell people of this journey. To tell them of the Britain I live in.
The Diary of Real Britain
Episode 65 Monday 31st March
Monday. Even on Mondays now I am tired. But its only a few weeks now before annual leave. Its the usual routine during for the day. Tuesday. Another dry day but chilly! Very unusual. Very quiet still and the buildings remain clean. Wednesday. Today we get piad but my supervisor is very angry on what he has been paid. He is very angry! Other than that everything remains quiet. Thursday. After yesterday it is very quiet. No tourists. I go home on time. Friday. At last the end of the working week. But I am extremely tired. I hand in the keys at the end of the day and go home. Saturday. Another much reduced gym session due to me being very tired. Then straight home and the rest of the day is spent relaxing. Sunday. The usual format, sunday politics on T.v. Then off to bar hill for the weekly shop then home. In the evening I help with Sunday Roast.
