In this final oracle, Isaiah prophesies of a time when the Lord would destroy the great economic power, Tyre. Eventually, He would restore the city and give it the opportunity to give Him the honor and glory He's due, but they didn't—at least not willingly. God always gets the glory, even when we try to keep it for ourselves.
