Buckle up, because this episode dives deep into bizarre dolphin stories, wild conspiracy theories, and what it really means to look the part versus being the part — with a splash of biblical wisdom, of course.
What is your moon minute? It's raining, we need moisture.
SPEAKER_00That it was dry and we needed moisture. Did I say that last week? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Um, you can't install my thunder.
SPEAKER_00That's okay. Welcome to your new creation podcast. My name is Amy. I'm here with my husband.
SPEAKER_04Jason.
SPEAKER_00Jason. Are you ready for this week's story? Yes. Now, I think you know a little bit about this week's story because this is actually like, it's not like an old story. This is like current affairs. I'm just going to give you the facts and then you can decide what you believe. Now, I present this for educational entertainment purposes only. I'm not saying this is real. I'm not saying it's not. I'm saying that you have to decide. Are you ready? Yes. So a man in Florida was found wandering on a shoreline. He was sunburned, dehydrated, and drawing what appeared to be architectural blueprint prints, architectural blueprints in the sand. When authorities approach him, he reportedly said, They made me do it. They took me underwater about 40 feet down, and they're building something. The officers asked him, Who is they? To which he responded, dolphins.
SPEAKER_01Did you do the next story?
SPEAKER_00No, I didn't tell a story about the dolphins last time. But I did show this to you on TikTok. So you have some foundation of the dolphin story.
SPEAKER_03That's wrong.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it wasn't me. It was another wife who tells her husband conspiracy stories that she learns on the internet. Now, listen, this was not just any dolphins. These were bottlenose dolphins, and they were an organized group of dolphins with leadership. And according to the man, the leader's name was Gerald. So Gerald was in charge. And Gerald actually provided a way for him to breathe. Like they don't know if he gave him an air bubble or what, but he said he could breathe underwater because of Gerald. Now, here's where it gets interesting. I actually think it's pretty interesting, but the man described an underwater city in progress where there were structured zones, residential, communal, even recreational. There was coordinated movements, like roles, like assignments, like a construction team. And when asked why he didn't resist, he said something that honestly raises more questions than answers. He said, You don't question Gerald. Gerald's like a mob boss. Listen, but I don't, is it? You decide. This is a real story. So he said, I couldn't escape. I was trapped. You just don't question him. Now, which suggests what? Influence, control, communication that we don't understand. He said that he would communicate with them, but not with words, but with clicks. Okay, now listen, before you write this off completely, there's a couple things you need to know. Dolphins are highly intelligent. They believe that they're the second most intelligent mammal next to humans. They're socially structured and they're known to communicate in complex ways. In fact, like there's been a handful of dolphin trainers who've worked with dolphins for like decades and decades who've come out and said, like, yeah, I totally believe it. I could totally see how a dolphin would do this. I'm not kidding. Like actual dolphin people said that. Now, what we already know about dolphins is they coordinate their hunting. They recognize themselves in mirrors from other dolphins and have been observed interacting with humans in ways we don't fully understand. So there was actually a CIA project that involved dolphins. And they were trying to get dolphins to be able to gather intel and come back and tell the military about the intel. And so they had a group of people that were working with the dolphins, but do you want to know why they had to halt the project?
SPEAKER_03Why is that?
SPEAKER_00Because the one of the females that was in charge of the project fell in love with one of the dolphins.
SPEAKER_04You know, let you tell stories and then you kind of go high and right on us sometimes.
SPEAKER_00All right. This is that's true. Look it up, do your own research. You don't have to believe me. Now, do you think this story is ridiculous?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00But the real question is what if we don't fully understand what's happening beneath the surface? You know, there's more of space that's been explored than our own ocean. It's like what, 8% of the ocean? Could Gerald and the bottlenose dolphins have a city 40 feet under? Maybe, but guess what else happened? Just this past week, 44 bottlenose dolphins showed up on the beach in Florida dead. Why? Some people think it's that the intelligence agencies who don't want us to know that Gerald is real are going around and just killing bottlenose dolphins.
SPEAKER_02Well, wouldn't they be smarter then?
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Then they get killed by a bunch of CIA guys or something.
SPEAKER_00What if they what if they're they trust humans? I mean, then they'd be doll dumb dolphins, but still. Anyway.
SPEAKER_03There's like 40 dolphins.
SPEAKER_00Now 44 dolphins. 44 bottlenose dolphins have shown up dead. Also, too, there's been boats and helicopters circling the area where this man said that he went underwater. I'm not. Look it up. You know, people say it's a hoax. They say there's no evidence. They say case closed. However, would they tell us if it was real?
SPEAKER_01Or would they just say you don't question Gerald? What are your thoughts? I do not think it's real.
SPEAKER_04I do not think Gerald's real.
SPEAKER_00Listen, I did some actual research on this. And there's a lot of people that are like, it's a hose, it's satire, it's not real. And then there's other people who are like, I don't know. It was the dolphin trainers that kind of had me like, because they all were like, yep, absolutely. And then like the woman fell in love with the dolphin, and they had to halt like the CIA operation because of it. I wonder what Gerald looks like. Is he bigger than the other dolphins? Is he littler? Because listen, maybe I'll tell you what, you'd think that he was bigger, but that doesn't always how it works. There was a group of like seven dogs in China that had gotten stolen from their homes and they were being sold at the meat market, and they escaped the van and they were walking back to their home, and there was like a German shepherd, and there was like a mastiff, and you would think they were in charge. They weren't. It was like this little Corgi thing that was actually in charge. That was the alpha of the group. And they got all got home back to their houses safely. The Corgi made sure of it. So you would think that Gerald would be. That was on CNN, CBS, ABC. You can't deny that one. Now, Gerald and the man, the architect. He was an architect. Did I tell you that? The man who went underwater?
SPEAKER_04He said he was drawing architectural.
SPEAKER_00But he was an architect. So you can like that's what he was trained to do.
SPEAKER_04Maybe they needed him to design like a cool building or something. Right.
SPEAKER_00Like they're not gonna. I mean, maybe if they needed some woodworking done, they might take me, but I don't think they're gonna take me for architecture.
SPEAKER_03They'd have to get in a car and drive here to Wyoming near a bottom of water that would support dolphins.
SPEAKER_00True. And I doubt if we were visiting, they would know that I did woodworking. I don't know. I don't know what the dolphin networks are like. Maybe they tell people there's actually a dolphin right now who's traveling up a river trying to get to the Great Salt Lake right now, as we speak. Dolphins be wilding right now.
SPEAKER_04Where the Great Salt Lake is in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's going up a river trying to get there.
SPEAKER_04Like from an ocean?
SPEAKER_00Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Quite a bit of a trip.
SPEAKER_00I will link that story in the show notes. All right, are you ready for our verse?
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes, very much so.
SPEAKER_00Our verse has nothing to do with our story today. Does have to do with Passion Week.
SPEAKER_02There you go.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So in the morning, as they were returning to the city, Jesus became hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, May no fruit ever come from you again. And the fig tree withered at once. And I always wondered what this story meant, because like it was a fig tree, and sometimes fig trees don't have fruit, right? Sometimes fruit trees don't have fruit. And I thought, well, why was Jesus so upset about this? And I recently heard it explained, which all of the pieces started to fall into place, is that with fig trees, if there are leaves, then there would be fruit. So when he walked up to it, seeing leaves on it, he assumed there'd be fruit on it, because that's what the tree was communicating is that hey, there's leaves, there's going to be fruit. But when he saw there was no fruit, he saw that the tree only looked like it should have fruit and didn't have fruit. And the lesson behind it is that it's for us. How many of us try to put our best foot forward, try to be that person, try to be the quote unquote perfect Christian, as it said? How many of us shine our shoes and put on our pretty dresses to go to church, especially with Easter Sunday coming up, right? We we look the part. But if there's no fruit behind it, and what are the fruits of the spirit? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against those things, there is no law. And so that's the fruits of the spirit. So if we look the part, but yet there's no fruit behind it, like that's a that's a rebuke from Christ of saying if you look like you're faithful, you look the part, you look like you know, a person who has these fruits. But then if you just look the part but there's nothing behind it, in the presence of God, we wither at once. That's the point of the story.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's that's really good.
SPEAKER_04Like so, and I was like, man, that needs to be said for sure again. And so people can hear that. And I, you know, there's the people that don't know him, and there's the people that do know him, and there's the people that have accepted him as their Lord, but that demands a response, it demands a change, and that does not mean that I'm getting it right or you're getting it right. It just means that there has to be a change, there has to be a willingness to start changing things and to start trying to walk that path. We always talk about the recovery that he has for us, not our path, not the path we were on, not when we when this happens or when that happens, not when we do this or don't do this anymore. Like it's it's where he meets you at, and that's where that change begins at. And I mean, to truly submit your life and your will to him. And it that's a really cool message for this week.
SPEAKER_00I think for me, I think for me, when I growing up, and even as a new Christian, as an adult, I would go into churches and I would see people in the part and I would think, man, they've got it figured out. Like they've got it all together, you know? But that one doesn't equal the other. And the reason that the fig tree wilted is because it couldn't stand the test in the presence of God. Because humans may go to each other and they may believe when they see the leaves that, oh, there's the fruit there that must be there, right? But only God has the way to search our hearts and see if it truly is. And so it's not about fancy clothes or shine shoes or looking the part, right? It's about a relationship with Christ. It's about when we do lack joy, love, peace. Where do we search it out? Do we search it out through God? Do we search it out through Christ? When we are lacking things like patience, kindness, goodness, are we seeking Jesus as the example of how to do that? Gentleness, self-control, faithfulness, all of those things are hidden behind the leaves. And so maybe the whole point of this is don't judge a tree by its leaves. Well, last week we did boundaries. I got to teach last week.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you did. You did an amazing job. And I and it was so funny because when I set all the uh slides up that you hadn't done it since like March 25 or March of 25. And so it was kind of cool, like we almost came back full circle another year to do it. But I mean it was so good because there was a lot of people that hadn't heard it, you know, and obviously there's some people online, but I mean there's a lot of people that were present that night hadn't heard it. And then honestly, I've heard it I think at least three times, maybe more. And it was still good for me to hear. Like, and and so and obviously you you'd uh change some things or updated some of the some of the stuff. And it but I mean, still was really a good lesson on boundaries and how important those are in so many relationships and so many different things in our lives, and just how people think, oh, we can't do that. But truly, but you need those in your life, you need to have boundaries, or else we're just all over the place in our in our personal lives, in our spiritual lives, in our physical lives, you know. So it's such an important uh topic, and I'm I'm glad I'm so glad you taught it, and it was really well received, so it was good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and the five T's that you talked about, although I'm not gonna go with like trust, trust, truthfulness, transparency, tenderness, and time.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and that's really good in relationships to think about those things. And are we giving those and are we getting those in those relationships? And if we're not, then what's what needs to happen, I guess, too, is one of the things you talked about. So yeah, it was a really cool lesson.
SPEAKER_00What do we got coming up next week?
SPEAKER_04Uh we're going back into the lessons, and we'll I don't know what number it is, but it is give. So it's one of the final ones because they talk about giving back and like those final things when you're called, you know, to to walk this out, you know, like the final lessons of the high center twelve step plus the principle eight. So it's a really cool, uh it's a cool one.
SPEAKER_00Awesome. All right, you guys, if you want more of us, you can check us out on Facebook at Celebrate Recovery at Emmaus Road.
