2025 Lenten Series, Session 2 - The Seven Last Words of Christ | March 18, 2025
The 2025 Lenten Series is “The Seven Last Words of Christ”.
Fr. Joel will offer a series of reflections exploring the theology, context, and significance of the Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ from the cross and how these words resonate with us today.
“Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”
“Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
"Woman, here is your son.” … “Here is your mother.”
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
“I am thirsty.”
“It is finished.”
“Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.”
The series runs for six weeks on Tuesdays during Lent, from 6:00 PM—7:15 PM in the Parish Hall. There will be a sign-up sheet for light refreshments. Nursery is provided.
If you are unable to attend in-person, the series will be made available online on our St. Luke’s podcast, “Faithful Echoes”, and our website, Facebook, and YouTube pages later in the week.
