Welcome to the so hard podcast. I am Justina Victoria. I am a psychosexual expert for men and couples, which is a fancy way of saying that I help men and couples resolve issues like performance anxiety, erectile dysfunction, relationship issues, dating issues, and trauma. And I do work with clients one-on-one, um and I also have my program called erect, which is for anybody suffering from performance anxiety or erectile dysfunction. And you can find that information at the link provided in this episode's description. I am super excited about today's episode. um We're going to be talking about supernatural, but science backed facts about the heart. And I can promise you you've never heard this information before, unless you are really deeply uh into meditation and spirituality and neuroscience, um you have definitely never heard these amazing facts. Every single fact I'm going to share with you today is backed by science. It has been clinically observed and repeated over and over again. And you can find the sources to what I'm sharing with you in the episode description. So let's get into it. We're going to start with number one. The heart has its own brain. I love this fact. I just think it's so amazing and it makes so much sense based on our own human intuition and how we've always described our relationship with the heart. So in the 1990s, researchers at the Heart Math Institute discover that the human heart contains an intricate neural network, over 40,000 neurons that can sense, feel, learn and remember. This cluster of neurons is now referred to as the intrinsic cardiac nervous system, or simply the heart brain. Your heart is a neuro intelligent organ. It holds memories, it processes information, sensory information, and it communicates directly with the brain. But here is the most amazing thing is that the heart actually sends nine times more information to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. so the main connection pathway is through what's called the vaguest nerve, and this is the body's largest cranial nerve. This is the nerve that I work with in my practice and I teach my clients about in order to help them regulate their stress response, cure erectile dysfunction, uh work with PTSD, like pretty much everything I do in my work with my clients centers around learning and implementing various specific exercises in order to regulate the vaguest nerve. So this vaguus nerve acts like a fiber optic cable between your vital organs and your central nervous system. And it goes up into the brain into the brain stem. So 80% of your vaguas nerve fibers are aernt, which means that they send messages from the body up to the rain, so the rain only asc sends about 20% information downward, okay? So the heart's messages have a direct influence on different areas of the brain. So the first one is the amygdala, which is our emotional reactivity and memory. The second one is arthalamis. That is the filter for all sensory input. Next, we have the hippocampus, which is long-term memory formation, and the prefrontal cortex. And this is where we are logical, we're decision making, we have intuition, we have moral reasoning, we're creative. We think about things. It's sort of like us. It's who we are. It's our personality. So the heart literally shapes how you think, feel and respond to life. So when your heart is stressed or incoherent, it floods the brain with signals of danger, right and that will trigger mental fog, anxiety, dregulation, chaos in the brain, but when your heart is coherent, meaning that you you're not producing any stress hormones, your your emotions are stable and elevated, It tells the brain, hey, we're safe. It communicates safety to the brain. So your heart doesn't just feel emotions, right? Which a lot of people don't even realize the heart feels. It has its own nervous system. It has a neural network, right? And what neural networks do is they retain information and memories. And so the heart feels and the heart thinks and it sends nine times more information to the brain than the brain sends to it. And so this is where we have to kind of stop and think like, wow, you know, this isn't just like, oh, somebody isn't saying like, oh, I felt it in my heart or I knew it in my heart or, you know, it's not a poetic statement. It is a neurobiological accuracy. And so, you know, mystics across time have always considered the heart to be the seat of higher consciousness. And now neuroscience is catching up to what these mystics have always known, right? The heart's not just an organ that pumps blood through your body and keeps you alive. It is intelligent. It is aware. It is intuitive, and it is inter dimensional. So we're going to get into that in a few minutes and that is going to blow your mind. So I'm going to teach you a little something before we get into number two so that the rest of this podcast is going to make sense to you. You're going to hear me talk a lot about coherence versus incoherence. And I want to explain what this means so that when you learn these facts, it really impacts you. It's really like, oh my God, wow, that's amazing. Okay. So we have to have that kind of underlying understanding. Otherwise, this stuff won't land as powerfully as it can. So coherence is essentially the measurement of HRV, your heart rate variability. And if you're into fitness or maybe you have like a fit bid or or a ring or a whoop, you may know that these different devices measure your HRV. And sometimes you'll hear in fitness circles that the higher your HRV, the better health you're in. That's not so accurate. The HRV is kind of a measure of your autonomic nervous system, how well it's functioning, but it's also the it's measuring the space between each heartbeat. and it's measuring the shape of your heart wave, okay? So when we are disregulated, meaning that the body is producing stress hormones, even the tiniest bit of stress hormones. And remember, when we're producing stress hormones, we are feeling anything that doesn't feel good. Right? It could be the lowest level of irritability or feeling tired or hungry or it could be like you're really pissed off or you're super afraid of you're having a panic attack. Like the range is massive. The body is producing stress hormones. Those stress hormones cause the heart's wave to become incoherent. Meaning the space between each beat becomes sort of unpredictable, could be a little bit longer, a little bit shorter. It's just it's incoherent. It's disorganized. And the wave that the heart is producing becomes very jagged. Okay? So when we go into what's called heart coherence, coherence, heart and brain coherence, you'll hear these different um labels for it. What that means is that each space between every heartbeat is equal. And the wave that your heart is producing has become very smooth. So instead of these jagged ups and downs and ups and downs, it becomes equal. The wave pattern becomes incredibly smooth and very regulated. And there is a consistent, smooth pattern. So when you're incoherent, when you're in dysregulation, your heart waves are erratic. They're jagged, they're spiky. They're all different kind of peaks and valleys and and there's different spaces between each heartbeat. And when you get into coherence with the bodies not producing any stress hormones and we're feeling an elevated emotion, the heart waves smooth out. They become very organized, very harmonious. And this is super important because what Heart Math Institute found is that we have a conscious effect. We can have a conscious effect on the way that our heart is operating, on the way that the heart is signaling and and messaging. All of the organ systems in our body, our nervous system, our brain, um it has a very powerful impact on our stress hormone production and how we feel on a daily basis and how well we can handle stress. So we can consciously affect this by creating what's called brain and heart coherence. We can actually purposely create this. This is a skill that we can learn, but we have to understand what it is in order to begin practicing. So to recap, okay, when I talk about heart coherence, bring coherence, your HRV, what I'm typically talking about is the ability to go into a very harmonious state where the heart is producing very harmonious, smooth waves. If we're talking about brain and heart coherence, that's where we're actually sinking our heart waves with our brain waves and they're becoming very smooth, very harmonious. And if we're talking about HRB, we're talking about those waves. We're talking about the quality of those waves. So you can be in an incoherent state where you're producing disregulated emotions. You're producing stress hormones. The heart is becoming you the heart waves are becoming very jagged and disorganized. Brain waves are not synched up with the heart. The brain waves are becoming very disorganized or you can have coherent HRV, and that's where everything is super super harmonious and the body is functioning optimally you're feeling elevated emotions. The brain is informing the heart in a very safe way. So let's go even further. Okay? So this is our second fact. The heart emits the most powerful electromagnetic field in the body. This is so, so cool. So now we're going to move a little bit out of the physical realm and we're going to talk about the energetic realm. Remember before I said something about the heart being interdimensional? So you may not have even known that we as humans produce electromagnetic fields. We do. The brain produces one. The heart produces one. We're obviously going to talk about the hearts today. But the human heart is the strongest generator of electromagnetic energy in the body. The electric field it produces is 60 times stronger than the brains. and the magnetic field is up to 5000 times stronger than the brain's magnetic output. This magnetic field radiates outward in 360 degrees, kind of like a donut all the way around you, and it can measure up to 10 feet outside of the body. So this is super exciting if you know what a magnetic field is. So magnetic field is a field of energy that carries and receives information, so it sends and receives information. So I want you to think about, you know, your Wi-Fi router. You cannot experience the energy coming off of that in any one of your five senses, right? If you didn't even know what Wi-Fi was and somebody put you in a room with R router and told you, oh, that's a magic thing. It's sending and receiving information, like, you know, at the speed of light, you would be like, um, I don't get it. I don't see anything. I don't hear anything. I don't feel anything. I think you're crazy, right? Um, but what your router is doing is essentially the same thing that our magnetic field does. And that is send and receive information. We'll get a little bit deeper into that in our next fact, um but keep that in the back of your mind. So our electromagnetic field is affected by what we're feeling. When we go into dysregulation and incoherence, what happens is our magnetic field shrinks. It actually comes super close to the body. When we are in when we are in coherence and we are not producing stress hormones and we feel safe and all of our needs are met and we're feeling elevated in motion, our magnetic field expands up to 10 feet around us. And the rhythm, the frequency of that magnetic field, becomes organized, it becomes smooth, it becomes harmonious, okay? And this is a bioysical state that harmonizes the brain, the nervous system, hormonal output, and even DNA expression. So people think that their genes, whatever genes you have, you're stuck with, let's let's figure out what kind of genes I have. Oh my God, I have the breast cancer gene. Let me chop my tits off. So I never get breast cancer. That's not the way it works. So genetic expression is based on how coherent versus incoherent you are. This is literally what signals genes to start creating proteins. and you can have proteins that create Alzheimer's or you can have proteins that create optimal functioning in the body. They're all based on the bioysical, biochemical, an energetic state coherent versus incoherent energy that we are producing at any given time. So your heart is not just beating, right? It's not just pumping blood through your body. It's not just holding onto information, right? Or sending messages to the brain and to the organs in your body. It's also broadcasting information and receiving information from the field around you. So everything that we perceive as nothing around us, like dead air, dead space is what we call the field of consciousness. So if you think of like everything in the universe, every bit of space in the universe is like the cloud. It contains information. It contains energy. It contains frequency, and frequency is just information. If you have the correct ah device to download that information, you'll be able to have access to that information. And so, you know, if going back to this idea of the Wi-Fi, if you didn't have a phone or a computer, you wouldn't be able to access that information. And so the heart is capable of accessing really infinite amounts of information if you know how to use it right. So your heart is a living transmitter. It's really a transducer because it sends and receives information. And it's sending a receiving signals from what mystics and quantum physics call the field. So if you ever wondered what manifestation is, this is it. We get a vision in our mind and we go into a coherent state where we're producing a very coherent magnetic field, and that magnetic field is sending that information out into the greater field around us. This is literally the science of manifestation. So let's go on to number three and this is going to bring this full circle around for you. It's going to help you to understand what I'm talking about with information around us and sending and receiving information and what the hell are you talking about, Justina? So the heart consents the future before it happens. The Heartmath Institute conducted one of the most revolutionary studies in intuitive biology. Participants were shown randomized images. Some of the images were just super neutral. They could be like landscape or furniture, whatever, just neutral stuff, or emotionally charged images, like accidents or like sexy images or some kind of trauma. and the order was selected by a computer, so it was randomized by a computer in real time, and they were not preloaded in there. Okay? So participants sat in front of the computer and they were hooked up to a couple different um instruments to record what was going on in their bodies and and within their heart. And what happened was that the participant's heart rate, an autonomic nervous system began to respond four to six seconds before the image appeared. Specifically, their heart reacted, not the brain, and this is known as presentiment response. The heart seems to have access to nonlocal, nonlinear information, meaning it's tapped into this field of information where past present and future exists simultaneously. So people would sit down at this computer and the screen would be blank, and then an image would pop up. during that time that the screen was blank was when their body, their heart would respond to the image before it came on the screen, so if ifil was an emotionally charged image, the body would start responding four to six seconds before the image even appeared, and they have repeated this as over and over and over you can check it out in my sources in the episode description. So this is one of the reasons why we just know when somebody is lying, when some sometimes we know like something doesn't feel right. Something's going to go wrong, like something bad is going to happen. Or like we even know something's something great's going to happen. Like we we wake up on the right side of the bed and we're like, I don't know. It just feels like a good day today. um your heart is literally feeling the field. It's it's reading the unseen data um before your brain or your eyes even have the chance to analyze that information. It's really, really cool. Now, it works much better when we're coherent because our field is expanded out around us and it's you know, the further our field is expanded, the more energy it has to send and receive information. So you'll find that when you're most regulated is typically when you get those downloads, when you just have this moment of clarity that comes out of nowhere. It's like a lightning bolt. You just realize something or the solution to your problem appears or you have this intuitive feeling about someone or something. It turns out it was right. You can actually practice that that is a skill. So the next one is heart coherence creates miracles and the mystical. So when people enter deep heart brain coherence, and if you've listened to my previous episode on sex being a portal to higher consciousness, I've talked about this a little bit. Your body begins to exhibit signs of heightened electromagnetic harmony, which can then push the brain into what's called a gamma brain wave state. And that is where the brain is producing very, very fast brain waves, but the brain waves are hypercoherent, hyper organized. And when we reach this state, this is where people experience spontaneous remission from physical illnesses, they can they can literally go into remission overnight instantaneously from terminal cancer and Parkinson's and all kinds of amazing crazy stuff. This state also allows us to have mystical experiences um downloads and even past life recolle recollections. um We can also experience sacred geometry or the feeling of God, an extreme paralyzing levels of unconditional love, of elevated emotion in these states our heart will produce 200 times the normal amount of oxytocin, and oxytocin is our love hormone. It is our bonding hormone. It is, in my opinion, a master hormone that is um has an inverse relationship with our stress hormones and allows us to feel incredible elevated emotion, incredible harmony and regulation with on our brain and nervous system. Yeah, heart coherence leads to mystical experiences and miracles that I have experienced myself and have witnessed with my own eyes. This is one of the most amazing supernatural truths about the heart that I just think is just amazing. So the next thing I want to share is Dr. Joe Depenza's study on heart coherence and immune function, so Dr. Joe and his research team from the University of San Diego conducted a study with a group of participants attending one of his advanced workshops, and what they were taught was how to create and sustain a state of brain and heart coherence. And so they did heart focused awareness, slow regulated breathing, and generated elevated emotions like love, gratitude, appreciation, joy, compassion, and they practiced this for 10 minutes, three times a day for four days. Okay? 10 minutes, three times a day for four days. Okay, before and after the workshop, his team collected blood samples from the participants to test immune markers. So what they measured was immunoglobulin A, IGA, IGA is an immune protein, and your body's first line of defense against viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens. It's produced in the mucosal lining, in your respiratory track, gut, eyes and mouth, and when IGA is high, your immune system is active and strong, when IGA is suppressed from chronic stress, poor sleep, or emotional dysregulation, you are far more susceptible to illness. So what they found, after just four days of this consistent practice, participants had an average of 49.5% increase in IGA levels. Their immune system function went up fifty percent, fifty percent. You can't get that from any supplement. You can't get that from any medication. Like that level is extraordinary. And in some of the individuals there their IGA increased by as much as hundred percent. So this increase happened without any medication, diet change, nothing. All they did was three times a day for 10 minutes go into heart coherence. So when you're living in stress or fear or survival mode, your cord is all level rise, and that has an inverse relationship with your immune function, so your immune function goes down. Why is that right? The reason is because that if a lion is chasing you, okay, this is the nervous system only has four tools to save you from any perceived threat. Run fight freeze or play dead. energy function changes in the body based on whatever tool the nervous system is using to get you back to safety. It doesn't matter if you lost your job or your girlfriend's being a dick to you or a lion is chasing or somebody broke into your house, the nervous system only has four tools run fight freeze and play dead. So if you're running from a lion, a.k.a your cord is all or your stress hormones have spiked. You need blood and energy going to your arms and legs, not to your immune system. That little bacterial infefection that you're trying to fight off right now, not important. We need that extra energy into the arms and legs to run and fight from this predator. When you come back to safety, you can fight the bacterial infection off. But right now, most important priority, getting back to safety. And so that's why when we go when we start to produce higher levels of stress hormones, our immune function comes way down. And then when we start to create more coherence and we teach the body that it's safe by feeling into the heart connecting with the heart, feeling elevated emotion, practicing that several times a day every day, the brain's getting the message. Everything's good. We're safe. And now cortisol can come down, adrenaline can come down, and immune function can come up. So the way that your heart is functioning, the way it is is the way your nervous system is functioning, the way your nervous system is functioning is going to affect your digestive track. It's going to affect your assimulation of nutrients. It's going to affect how your immune system is functioning and is going to affect how your reproductive system is functioning. I talk a lot about this in my other episodes where I'm on about a rectile dysfunction and performance anxiety and stuff like that. So when you shift into a state of elevated emotion, your body switches out of survival and begins to regulate repair and defend itself more effectively. Gratitude is literally medicine. Love is medicine, elevated emotion is literal medicine, and we're just talking about one thing we're not even talking about the effect on healing your brain function, healing yourself from trauma from PTSD, from OCD. We're not talking about gene expression. We're not talking about how the gut functions. We're not talking about interpersonal relationships. We're not talking about manifesting. We're not talking about like there are like the heart is at the center of everything, literally everything. So if you master your connection to the heart, you're going to see your life absolutely change. So now let's uh let's learn how to go into coherence. It's actually super simple. If you're not driving, I want you to stop for a moment, sit down, close your eyes. And all I want you to do is just start taking some nice, deep, slow breaths. And keep breathing, nice slow breaths, nice deep breaths, and all you're going to do is place your attention, focus, awareness on your heart. does feel your heart as strongly as you can possibly feel it. If you need to place your hand over your heart, you can do that. If you need to tap your chest, you can do that. Whatever helps you get your attention and focus on the heart. And now you're going to think of something that makes you feel good, happiness, compassion, gratitude, excitement, joy, contentment, peace. think of a memory from your past or an idea in your future that just makes you feel good. and you're going to keep focusing on your heart, but you are going to also feel this feeling that you can imagine whatever you need to imagine to conjure up this feeling, like keeping your attention and focused focus on the heart. And that's it. If you can sustain that for five minutes, 10 minutes and do that a couple times a day, you will be building the skill of creating brain and heart coherence. and maybe you'll get a little mystical experience in your life or a miracle or a manifestation that you desire. I hope you enjoyed this episode. This is something I'm very, very passionate about and I love to teach if you want to get in touch with me, um you can find me on Instagram, the dot justina.
