So have you ever wondered what the difference between Google Ads and Google AdSense is? Welcome to the Visibility Boost. My name is Glyneth Reed, and I'm going to explain it for you. Okay, so Google Ads is if you are paying to market your business, in the Google search results or display or remarketing. Essentially Google ads, you're advertising your business and you are paying Google either per click, per thousand display, whatever. Google ads sense is when you are letting other companies market their website on your website. So you are opening up your website to allow ads on it. And then if people come to your website and see these ads for other companies and click on them, you will make a penny or two. So which one's right for your business? If you are a service business or selling products, you probably want to be using Google ads. You want to market your business, pay to play, pay to show up in search engines. Google ads makes the most sense. If you have a blog or a lifestyle blog or any kind of website where people are coming to it a lot, but you're not necessarily just selling a service or a product and you don't mind having other advertisers have their graphics on your website and you want to make money through that route, then Google Adsense would make sense for you. Now, you may be saying, can I do both? And honestly, I would not run Google Ads to a website that also has Google Adsense ads on it. And the reason being is, let's say that you're paying to advertise your business and somebody searches for you and in the search results, they see your ad, they click on your ad. So you have now paid Google that cost per click. They come to your website. But if you have a other company's ads on it. They may get distracted. Click on that ad, which may get you a penny or two and may go do business with these other companies. So, not the outcome that you had expected. So, I would do one or the other, but not both. Questions about whether Google ads or Google ads since works for your business. Feel free to reach out to me@glenysatthevisibilitymethod.com. I will make sure my email is in the show notes.
