So while I think that having a website is incredibly important, regardless of what platform you're on. It is no secret to people who know me. That I prefer WordPress. So today we are going to talk about just a couple of the reasons why I prefer the WordPress platform above all others. My name is Glennis read. I read and I'm going to be your host of the visibility method. So two of the biggest reasons why I love WordPress are you get to self hosted. You get to decide where you're going to host where your website's going to live and essentially decide on how fast a server you're going to put it on. With site speed and performance being so critical to rankings these days and to just user experience in general, I see this as a key. If you were hosted somewhere like Wix Weebly or Squarespace you're on their server, you're kind of stuck with their configuration. And don't have a chance to improve it. If you need to, yes, this is essentially paid a play cause you can pay to be on faster servers, but why wouldn't you, if you have that option? The second biggest reason I love WordPress is that you can have. Offsite backups. I have your website, mate. And you may be saying to me, well, Glenna. Why is this important? So a few days ago, one of the website platforms went down and so all their people's websites were down until they got it fixed. Luckily it wasn't down for a long time. But let's say that you're on WordPress hosted at host a and host days. Server blows up. And you have had offsite backups made of your WordPress site. You can, within a matter of two or three hours, have your site uploaded at host B. And bring it back online. You don't have to go through all the worry and expense and everything of having your site redone. Because there wasn't a backup or you're depending on somebody else to fix their problems, whether it's software oriented or hardware oriented, you are in control. Is this going to cost you a little bit more? Yes. Is this worth it for peace of mind in the long run? In my opinion, absolutely. I want to know that if something happens. To the server I'm hosted on that. I can be up and running. Quickly. And not stressing about how can clients find me? How do I get them to know what happens? And so from a business decision,
