Weekly episodes encourage listeners to live life out loud, walking/living in the light, doing what the Lord requires of us in every area of life. What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.
Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".
To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.
Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

The Soulful Medicine of Laughter

Laughter offers numerous benefits for the mind, body, and soul. It's a pleasant physical reaction that can release inner tensions and bring a sense of balance to life.
Neurophysiology indicates that laughter activates the ventromedial prefrontal cortex, leading to the production of endorphins, which are associated with rewarding activities.
Laughter is also noted for its ability to relieve stress and emotional pain, serve as a coping skill, and even help lift momentary depression. Historically and presently, it has been considered a form of "medicine" for healing and improving one's overall well-being.
This we can also see as we examine the Bible in respect to laughter, joy, and humor. We can assert that "the Joy of the Lord is your strength" and that divine joy brings balance and hope.
As also indicated in the scriptures, laughter is a "good medicine" for the soul.
We encourage you to take your medicine, even in challenging times. When life gets hard and you start to cry, instead, laugh about it.
