~Walking In The Light~
In this podcast, Elders Randall & DeBorrah K. Ogans share biblically based insight, guidance, and advice on Life & Living, Marriage & Relationships, Family & Parenting, Faith & Belief, Church & Religion, Spiritual Health, and more.
Weekly episodes encourage listeners to live life out loud, walking/living in the light, doing what the Lord requires of us in every area of life. What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.
Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".
To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.
Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

Jesus Christ – His Life, Crucifixion, Burial, and Resurrection - Easter is "Resurrection Sunday"

Jesus Christ—His life, crucifixion, and eventual resurrection—stands as a cornerstone of global culture and the foundational pillar of the Christian faith. Easter is “Resurrection Sunday”.
For many, the details of "Resurrection Sunday" are so familiar that they risk becoming routine. We recognize the broad strokes of sacrifice and victory, yet the sheer historical and spiritual weight of the events leading to the empty tomb often remains obscured by that very familiarity.
To truly grasp the "Good News," we must revisit the specific accounts preserved in the Synoptic Gospels. By examining the detailed records of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John through a historical lens, we uncover a narrative that is not merely a religious tradition, but a profound sequence marked by internal betrayal, miraculous restraint, and cosmic witnesses.
“Resurrection Sunday” represents the ultimate victory over the principalities and powers of darkness, sin, and the grave. By fulfilling the law and submitting to the Father's will, Jesus Christ provided a way for humanity to be redeemed from a "bleak future" of eternal separation.
The resurrection stands as an immovable foundation, a testament that the truth of the Gospel remains the only source of light for those whose spiritual eyes have been opened to receive it.
Listen as we explore the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Also, enjoy the instrumental hymn at the end of this episode, "There Is a Fountain". As you listen, reflect on the words of this hymn:
"There is A Fountain
Filled with Blood
Drawn From Immanuel's veins
Sinners plunge beneath the flood, and lose all their guilt
and stains, wash all their sins away, and be saved to sin no more."
