A Bit About Christian

Christian Ray Flores grew up amid some of the world’s most dramatic upheavals. At just five years old, he found himself in Chile during a military coup, living among refugees. Later, his family relocated to Mozambique, where he experienced the turbulence of civil war firsthand.

As a young man, Christian was in the Soviet Union completing his college studies when the country collapsed, witnessing yet another attempted coup. Despite—or perhaps because of—being surrounded by civil unrest throughout his formative years, Christian’s journey forged in him resilience and a unique perspective, shaping his personal qualities and career path in profound ways.
