What makes a carpet or rug cushion truly durable, resilient and “Unsquashable”?

In this episode of Commercial Construction Coffee Talk, host David Corson sits down with Larry Lane, President of LSI Flooring, to explore the technology and performance behind Unsquashable™ high-density urethane carpet and rug cushion.

First developed in 1984, Unsquashable Padding uses proprietary chemistry and advanced manufacturing technology to support residential, commercial and hospitality flooring applications.

Larry explains the two important measurements that help determine urethane cushion quality: density and Compression Force Deflection, or CFD. He discusses how higher density and stronger support factors can improve resistance to bottoming out, shock absorption, acoustical performance and long-term resiliency.
