Recorded in January 2024, John McCalla Lacey is the Head of Global Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) at KPMG International and Head of ESG at KPMG in the UK. He is responsible for embedding ESG practices into the Global and UK firm’s strategy and for leading the delivery of ESG solutions, products and services to clients. He has held a number of senior UK, ASPAC region and global leadership positions at KPMG over the last 21 years. Prior to KPMG, John was a fashion designer for Benetton in Italy and a consultant where he discusses making the transition from the creative industry to professional services.
