Welcome to VOX SFX, a podcast which aims to explore the rich history and traditions of the Catholic Church over the last two thousand years. This podcast is designed to educate those who might not know much about the Church, and to those members of the faithful who may be unaware of the significance of our symbolism and ritual. E50 - Introducing Pope Leo XIV
1.4 billion voices lifted in joy on May 8th when the announcement rang out: Habemus Papam! Though his Papacy is only just taking form, we can see much of the character of Leo XIV in his Augustinian charism, his missionary work in the world, and his cardinalate. The name Leo also has great historic significance that gives us a vision of his hopes for our future. Fr Hightower joins us to give some opening analysis and impressions as we eagerly welcome our new Holy Father.
