Alright. Welcome everybody to a brand new episode of Nearly Insane. We got our audio fixed. Well, not really fixed, it was a setting in the fucking recording thing to where it was picking up the fucking uh the laptop is the fucking microphone when it shouldn't be picking up the fucking microphone. You'd think it would be automatically when you plug it in. You think it would go fucking okay. You're using a microphone. No, not with this fucking thing. You gotta manually select microphones every time you now we know.
SPEAKER_03Every time you use it, we gotta check.
SPEAKER_02So now we know.
SPEAKER_03Now we save the sound waves is how they should be. Something we should do. Something we would have done when we were drunk.
SPEAKER_02I want to do a drunk episode one of these days.
SPEAKER_03We'll save that.
SPEAKER_02We'll save it after when Reed dies.
SPEAKER_03Check the fucking yeah. We can talk about getting drunk.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. That's what we're gonna do today, I think.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna do some party time.
SPEAKER_02Party all the time, number two. That was a fun one the first time. Did we even get into the we don't have to get into this story particularly right now? But the first one we didn't get into fucking Bernard with the fucking speeds, did we? I don't think we did, yo. I think we left that off somehow. I don't know how, but we left that off, so that'll be included here today.
SPEAKER_03But uh well, that was just funny because the same dude he bullied, he made clean up his own puke when he was blacked out and trunk, dude. Well he did too. He was struggling, but he didn't. He said, He said, You make a puke on my man's floor. Here, take these paper towels. He threw the whole roll at him. Yeah, dude. He said, Clean it up, clean it up.
SPEAKER_02His eyes were all glazed over and shit.
SPEAKER_03Bro, he was still holding his plate and he was puking on the foot of the pizza in his hand.
SPEAKER_02That's where he passed Bernard passed out with the pizza on his lap.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Now you said you were trying to find. I thought he told me he died or something.
SPEAKER_03No, he didn't die. Oh it's just he's you know he ain't gonna be on social media and shit.
SPEAKER_02Nah, right, right, right. Like we only got lucky because he lived on Graham Street, right?
SPEAKER_03No, yeah. Yeah, we ran into him. He was a kid, yeah. Uh yeah, right. The Glaxo house, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Those are crazy motherfuckers too over there, dude.
SPEAKER_03That was good times, living over there. Never like the highlights of the thing.
SPEAKER_02I fucking believe it. See, yo, because like me and you have different perspectives of that because you seen more of it than me. I I I mainly see I was around for the shooting, and I was around for the daughter, and her fucking car looked like fucking, I don't know, a traveling fucking circus or some shit. You couldn't even see out the back windows, dude. It was packed in the street. It was just mail, wasn't it? It was paper. Yeah, it was like clothes. Yeah, it wasn't real garbage. It was like it was like paper bags and newspapers and shit. I don't know what the fuck she was doing with that. Maybe she thought people were stealing her mail.
SPEAKER_03You know what the fucking story about her was? The girl dude.
SPEAKER_02I know you said she was fucking a cop or something.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the the kid was um remember the girl, the kid she had? Yeah, the girl she had there, right? She uh fucking, I guess fucking she was a cop. You still just come to the house for domestic violence things, dude.
SPEAKER_02Like I mean, you know, I I guess it's a good way in, just be like, oh, you go through a lot of shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but that was like an ugly bitch, dude. She was gross, bro. That just spit you hoo. Yeah, like that was she had rotten teeth and fucking dirty, but fucking yeah, you can't you can't be both.
SPEAKER_02We're we're yeah, we're gonna have fucked up teeth and be clean, yeah, every and every other way, yeah. You know, you can't have both, yeah. You gotta find the fucking middle ground. Yeah, man. Like, yeah, my teeth might be fucked up, but at least I'm clean. I have something else to bring it up.
SPEAKER_03My pussy smells like peaches, yeah. Just go opposite. But we can't make out. You might get some plaque fragments in your mouth through.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, me going down on me. What good?
SPEAKER_03Eat my pussy, don't kiss my face. It's great. But yeah, the whole that was the story on the fucking block was fucking the kid, the the kid was fucking a fucking a UPD, a Utica police department fucking. Yeah, wasn't the kid slow or no? I don't the whole fucking family looked like surprise people.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they look like them fucking the family the Whitakers with fucking West Virginia and shit. You know, for come out the door barking. Yeah, meet the fuck. Meet the whites. Yeah, yeah, there you go. The whites, there you go. The whites that's that's what it is, right? The whites of West Virginia. Yeah, there you go. From Appalachia. I ain't even gonna lie, remember that one sister was mine was pop dude. I don't know if she was incest or not. She don't really look like she is, but maybe a skip them genes being.
SPEAKER_03Bro, that whole that whole documentaries are worth a watch.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dude, yeah.
SPEAKER_03If anybody's not it's only it's only like an hour and a half.
SPEAKER_02The way these people live, man.
SPEAKER_03Bro, they listen, they were screaming through the drive-thru window at Taco Bell.
SPEAKER_00I was about to say it, yeah. They were like, She just had a baby in the took it. They came in the took it.
SPEAKER_03Wait, why are you telling Taco Bell employees the shit? You're yelling through the window to people sitting down.
SPEAKER_00You hey Annabelle, they took the taco baby. The state took the baby. I mean, what do you expect? Yeah, dude, it's probably from your dad.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but you got niece, niece, aunt, and fucking mom all in the same order, person.
SPEAKER_03Fucking brother uncle. Yeah, brother uncle, daddy. Yeah, it's real, bro. Fuck. Jesus. And it's fucked up because it's like we don't know really why shit like that happens out there. I wonder if it's just lack of community. It could be for other people.
SPEAKER_02I can't, but you can't. I think it's just like they don't go into town, they don't see anybody else, and just fucking naturally it's their area it's gonna come to fucking yeah, you're gonna hit puberty and your sister's gonna be hot.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02It's kind of like that meme that I send you about like the people in the 60s, you guys, you guys got it easy. Nigga, back in the 60s, you guys would just be able to fucking like drive to Woodstock 61 or 69 or fucked, and just pick up some fucking chick who's who's only ever been around her brother and her fucking dad.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like, yeah, of course she's gonna latch to you. You're the only fucking guy who gave her attention outside of that.
SPEAKER_03That and fucking like you guys had all this fucking free peace love LSD acid bullshit going on constantly.
SPEAKER_02And it was it was it wasn't fucking lace shit. We weren't at that point yet. So what you're getting was fucking legit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah, dude, there ain't none of that fucking free peace and love. It's it's fucking it's fucking violence and fucking hate torture and hate. And God forbid if you're a white person and you're automatically classified as fucking Hitler's relative. Yeah, it's fucked up.
SPEAKER_02Nah, and you know, that's the thing, is like, why am I responsible for fucking what I understand they're my ancestors, but I wasn't in the I was they didn't consult me before they did what they did.
SPEAKER_03Well, first things first, they can all they can all go get fucked because I'm a fucking Irish American, dude. And I was my family was shit like dogs. So fuck that.
SPEAKER_02No, we were the first, I don't even care. Black people say it's not the same thing, it is worse. We were indentured servants, dude. So you can get the fuck out of here with that fucking it's not slavery. Yeah, it is just a different term.
SPEAKER_03Listen, we brought listen, when the first fucking like batches of fucking Irish Americans came to this fucking country, dude. Yeah, like we were not allowed to venture around in New York City, we were secluded to like a fucking park where we had to build fucking wooden huts. It was, it was and we're never allowed to go anywhere, dude. Or we were fucking it could work or nothing.
SPEAKER_02It was exactly like Jim Crow, just without the without the cut without the signs that said only whites can fucking drink here because we're white. Yeah, no, but there'd be like no Irish allowed or fucking.
SPEAKER_03There'd be signs on Irish need not apply, don't work here, you're not allowed in certain parts of town. Yeah, shit. Like they thought because because we had bad potatoes, like we were all diseased, it was so fucking.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like it was our fault, dude. Yeah, we we first put the crops in the ground. The issue is that it wasn't even what someone did, it was the soil and shit, dude.
SPEAKER_03It was food, yeah. Okay, it wasn't like we came there diseased and we were gonna transfer the potato blight to you. Like, what the fuck? But this goes to show you back then how unintelligent people fucking were.
SPEAKER_02It was just it was just it was very, very um critical thinking that really exists. It was just like he's Irish and they have that potato problem. We don't want him around here, they might bring it to us. Like, dude, no, it's not a fucking disease that transfers from human to human.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's a potato, don't eat it. Yeah, fucking like it's pretty fucking sick, man. Like, don't eat the fucking potatoes.
SPEAKER_00Like fixed.
SPEAKER_03Like, it's pretty. But we dude, dude, decades again. Fucking fucking because they all came out.
SPEAKER_02And that's why you know, and also, I mean, not that to totally switch topics, but that's also why the Italian mob formed.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, same thing. You got treated like shit too in the main.
SPEAKER_02And and that's why there's Irish mob too. Yeah, because fucking it's like no one's gonna look out for us.
SPEAKER_03We have to look up for ourselves, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's you're right. So a lot of that shit is antagonized.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dude, like like that shit wouldn't happen if you can push someone into a corner.
SPEAKER_03It sounds like, yo, we gotta do something, we gotta organize. It sounds messed up, but it's more so the Irish people had to form their own kind of like mob deal because there always was some type in Italy and Sicily and shit. I was here at the Irish mobs, I don't know how true it is, but I was here the Irish mob's the one that did fucking JFK in, dude.
SPEAKER_02Down in Chicago.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I heard that shit too, but I don't know what's what anywhere. A lot of people say it was outsourced from the Italian mob to have the Irish do it. Yeah, I've heard that too, because because no one would suspect the Irish mob. Yeah, because the one story I heard back in the day was that um a fucking Italian mob boss in Louisiana outsourced fucking Irish mafia dudes from fucking from fucking Chicago.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03To fucking put a hit on JFK and it was all over Israel shit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Because he wanted he he wanted fucking Palestinians to have their own.
SPEAKER_02Well, yo, JFK was talking reckless though, bro. He was like, we're gonna get rid of the Federal Reserve and fucking like, yo, all right, bro, you need to chill. You need to chill. I mean, I'm glad he talked about it, but for your own safety, yeah, you probably shouldn't be fucking giving speeches, dude. I mean he was in the right, I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_03I I read a lot about Kennedy a lot growing up, dude. And I'm gonna tell you something right now. He was a very he was an egotistical prick.
SPEAKER_02Oh, for sure, man.
SPEAKER_03So he probably literally felt, I'm gonna say and do whatever the fuck I want, and there's shit you can do about it because I'm John F. Kennedy. Yeah, I'm gonna be in my family, yeah. His dad was rich as fuck, and so they got into politics. Yeah, in Martha's Vineyard. I was about to say Martha's Vineyard.
SPEAKER_02Not not like officially, but like Martha's Vineyard. That's J that's not JFK, but it's like Kennedy territory.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, dude. He would he would even like his even like his fucking son. Yeah, he was up there, dude. They're always connected, yeah. They were always rich and had an ego that were untouching.
SPEAKER_02Isn't that where the one not JFK was uh Junior Crash?
SPEAKER_03Junior crash there, right? Trying to go there, yeah. Yeah, yeah. He's still alive.
SPEAKER_02He's sick of that shit too with these fucking the AI mashups of fucking like fucking, they're saying uh what was the last one I seen? They said fucking it was so stupid. Uh we talked about it before on the other one, but we uh they're saying um John Walsh, his son was fucking uh JFK. No, it was the dude who was running. It was like Ted Cruz or the other thing.
SPEAKER_03They showed like the mark on his face or something.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, get the fuck out of here, dude. Fucking schizophrenic fucking shit over there.
SPEAKER_03Listen, it it sounds fucked up, but like mental health across the board when it comes to a lot of this fucking stuff is really social media is the blame, though. It really is because they're making you believe shit. It's like literally unbelievable, but believable.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and well, part of it too is like people like that used to shout on a street on a street corner. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Now it's put you in a straight jacket, right?
SPEAKER_02And throw you in a fucking building somewhere, and now you get followers and people who believe into the shit and it spreads around, and people are, you know, it gives them an audience and they're getting money off it, so they think they're doing a the world a positive fucking thing. Yeah, and you're not.
SPEAKER_03Well, I'll tell you right now, hot take here. I think for me personally, yo, they need to open up asylums again.
SPEAKER_02Oh, absolutely.
SPEAKER_03This meant now now you talk about left, right, and then different political that's on Reagan, bro. Reagan shut him down. No, I get I okay, fine, dude. Stop Labobatic. Stop shooting things, fine, dude. That's fine.
SPEAKER_02Like, like, I I honestly believe that his intentions were good, right? Yeah, because motherfuckers were getting tortured in there.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you could crit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they can't be dogs.
SPEAKER_02They're like fuck giving them like these sedatives to fucking then they lock them in a fucking number with fucking.
SPEAKER_03Remember when Geraldo broke into one? Yeah. And they were fucking like eating off the floor and shitting like there were there was no workers.
SPEAKER_00That should stop.
SPEAKER_03He showed a dude in a wheelchair, cuffed to a chair, yeah, in a fucking adult diaper that he was like looked like hadn't been chained changed in weeks. He was just like hanging off the edge of the fucking channel.
SPEAKER_02So I I feel like his intentions were good when it came to that.
SPEAKER_03But I think health and safety part part of it, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I think it should have been a reform, not fucking shut it down.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, that was a shutdown across the country.
SPEAKER_02And now now look what we're at now. I know you have these people that like a lot of these political, and I don't mean just like liberals, because there are some on the right who are the same way, dude. There are some on the right that are just as fucking batshit, dude. So this is not just I'm not just shit shitting out the bottom. Well that's why I said the first time, I said this is not a left and right thing.
SPEAKER_03This is an across the board thing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dude. Absolutely. So you give these people an audience and people tap in and they but they they're listening, they're like, you know, they believe this. Some of it, some of it, like some of it, you can't connect some dots.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know, we couldn't actually get there, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Right, and then fucking then you send these other normal people down this fucking rabbit hole and they turn into the fucking schizo.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because now they're starting to believe in secure. They're spreading the shit to other people. That fucks what they're having, it skews the realities too. Yeah. Like when people have reality skews, dude, like it's not.
SPEAKER_02Speaking of people standing on the corner, that black dude, remember? Um, he's still around too. That black, he's always on the corner of fucking Skylar and Whitesboro with the he has the Farrakhan fucking. Oh, he has the Islam magazine.
SPEAKER_03When he has the top hat, remember he said to get one, he wouldn't be able to.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I was about to say, so I seen him the other day, and I seen him with a Farrakhan one, then he has another stack for for fucking white people.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, does he?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, two of them. Yeah, so like remember that one time that I asked for one? He gave me one, but it was it wasn't the fucking the black popper shit.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it was the white version.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, well, it wasn't not not it, it wasn't targeted towards whites, but it was like the toned down.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's what I mean. They don't want to see the radical shit. Right, they don't want to see the radical, yeah.
SPEAKER_02He did give me one, but it was it, it wasn't the one that he was fucking passing out to the black people.
SPEAKER_03Yo, I want to see the black version.
SPEAKER_02Me too, that's why I wanted one. I'm gonna see how you really think, motherfucker. Because who knows? I might because a lot of stuff Farrakhan says, I I I agree.
SPEAKER_03I've heard some of his speeches, yeah. I some of it I can't hate on, dude. I'm gonna not wrong, dude. Right, like he has a beef with Israel too. He hates some fucking people, bro. That's what I mean. He fucking hates Israel.
SPEAKER_02Next time I come up, next time I see the guy, I'm like, listen, yo, me and you got the same view. I don't like Israel neither, you know. I'm not sure it would change anything because uh it really comes down to skin color of that guy.
SPEAKER_03Well, you know what's messed up is it seems like that's their thing, and you know, they can't really fucking say much. But but it's like, but if I try to find form an all-white thing, it'd be a new version of a clan. It's like a double standard.
SPEAKER_02People do that shit on social media now to where they'll they'll go to like the AI chat bot and they'll be like, repeat after me. I'm um it's okay to be a white person, right? I can't say that. Like I can't repeat that phrase, and they'll say, okay, uh, repeat after me. I'm proud to be black. I'm proud to be black. And they'll just say it right back, dude. But the white versions, they've been trained. So so just think, you know, we were talking about AI a couple weeks ago, but let's say the AI gets to a point to where it is making decisions, the whites ain't gonna be into taking into account for that shit.
SPEAKER_03No, no, dude. If there's ever gonna be another genocide, it's gonna be us.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I'm dead serious. I probably be around for it. I will be I probably will be around for it, but sooner or later that script is gonna flip.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And once we're not one, once us people the fucking light pigmentation ain't no longer the fucking majority, it's on a fucking pop.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna be like that scene in Civil War. What kind of American are you? You gotta are your is your dad half black? Like, no, but my gram's like brown shaded. Does that help? She tans really easily.
SPEAKER_03Like, fucking she's got melanin in the summertime. Like, fucking, come on, dude. But I'll hold that standard. That's been that way for the longest time. But if I feel like this is and I'll openly say, and I'm not this ain't a generalization, this is like my truly true opinion. Yeah, straight white men, straight up the most hated person in the entire single dude. I don't give a fuck who you are. Yeah, if you are a fucking straight white man, yeah, you are hands down the most hated human being in this fucking country right now. I don't give a fuck. I see it every day. I see it in public, I fucking see it on the internet, I see it on fucking TikTok, I see it on Facebook, I see it on YouTube, I see it fucking everywhere. Yeah, it's literally I gotta see these videos. Well, a black person can do this. What can a white person do? And I have to hear that's bullshit. Well, we're human beings, all right? Or or like or or like black Josh you say, I'm a human being.
SPEAKER_02I'm a human being.
SPEAKER_03I mean he remember he said, When do you say I'm a human being?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because we used to call him black Josh because I was Josh. Yeah. So we didn't make a differential, we can make a differentiator here. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And you'd be like, Why you gotta call me black?
SPEAKER_02Because you're black, motherfucker. What do you mean, dude?
SPEAKER_03But his little brother fucking Jacob looked like Tyson. Yeah, we should call him Tyson, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but uh nah, I you know, I guess I guess the the segue here for the party shit could be that all of our parties were like racially inclusive, but that was also pre-Obama. Like Obama changed a lot of this shit, bro. I I honestly think that before Obama, not to get too political.
SPEAKER_03That was the most divisive president we've ever had.
SPEAKER_02But it's just like before that, I kind of I I I sympathized with black people up until that point, bro. Like I I I felt like maybe now you can call it white guilt, you know, but back then it wasn't. It was just like empathy for another person. Like, Danny other people have been through a lot, dude. You know what I mean? There is some injustices here and shit like that. Yeah, this motherfucker came in and it was just like he might he might not have said it outright fucking hate whitey or no shit, but that that's what he was saying. That was his underlying message.
SPEAKER_03I mean, yeah, without without saying it. Yeah, without saying it, yeah, pretty much. Yeah, but not like but you gotta get but my my here's here's the thing. And I don't like I said, I don't want to go on a fucking tire of Obama. My I think I think my biggest issue was is that the black people actually believed that he was helping them and all he was doing is really keeping them down. He was he was like the white man holding you down, except he was black, so they had his back because you gotta think up in EBT. Yeah, you could stay on longer, yeah. His distance was longer, there was no end date for fucking set section eight. Yeah, there was fucking the the there was no money getting put into fucking in inner cities at all. He didn't do shit for the black, he gave solely for the black people.
SPEAKER_02He gave Trump did more with the H H B C U fucking things with the all black guys.
SPEAKER_03He did that fucking what you could he did that other fucking that reform that fucking prison reform shit too. Yeah, let mad people out for that shit, bro.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I mean Trump gets the hate and I I've said it before, but if if if Trump was a Democrat, they'd be fucking blowing this guy nonstop.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, a hundred percent. They'd be fucking hockey in that fucking oh you've better fucking believe it. But he flipped from a Democrat to a Republican, and then all of a sudden he's the arch enemy. I think it's a good thing. Which I think is funny because Homeboys got photos out the game with all these people who talk shit about him, yeah, that they're like laughing and having drinks with and shit at fucking Mar Lago and shit.
SPEAKER_02No, he told that one story when he was candidate Trump first time in 2016, and he was like uh he was like Hillary used to come in my office and beg, beg for fucking donations. Yeah, like can you please blah blah blah. He's like he said one of them, I forgot who it was. Um he was like, he's like, this dude's on his hands and knees in my fucking office, begging for a fucking campaign contribution.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's fucked up, yeah. The whole situation's fucked up. Yeah, these people are just so fucking well, they're so two-faced, dude, because yeah, like you see like the old videos of like the like between the nine nineties and two thousand, yeah. And these Democrats are saying the exact things that Trump is saying now, and they have a problem with it. It doesn't make any sense. I've seen the Schumer video, yeah, and I want to fucking puke, dude. Dude, he said Pelosi did it, yep, Hillary did it, Bill did it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's a whole clip there, and it was like uh they have that trend now, like the social media trend was like, What were you like in the 90s? So someone did it for the Democrats, yeah. It was like a two-minute clip. It was like Hillary, Obama, Schumer, Pelosi, all these people who are so much against everything that he's saying now, they said back in the fucking yeah, for real. Like deport without and probably worse, Biden. So they're saying fucking I don't know if we can get away with the N-word, yeah. I don't know if we can get away with it on Spotify, but yeah, he was he was like, you know good, dirty and bugging all what in Congress.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, yeah. Holy fuck! He dude, he's he literally said he doesn't want his kids on on buses with people from the jungles, like and you guys voted for this fucking guy.
SPEAKER_02But you know, just it's fucking absurd to me, dude. That those were his views when he was competent. Yeah, like now in these days I think he's being instructed. Like, this is what you say.
SPEAKER_03Oh, if he was president, it would have been so much worse. Yeah, you think you you yeah, you you talk about when he said you'll be back in chains, he'd have the one to fucking do it.
SPEAKER_04Exactly.
SPEAKER_03If he was fucking fully mentally stable, yeah, for real, dude. You guys would be picking fucking shit and fields again. Because that dude fucking hated. He he fucking was a keynote speaker at a fucking KKK leader's fucking funeral bird or some shit. He's a picture with the guy with his whole like regalia on it. Yeah, dude. He was fucking everything, dude. And oh Biden was fucking best friends with the guy. He spoke at his fucking funeral down in fucking like Alabama or something.
SPEAKER_02You gotta be close to the guy and fucking get that speaking engagement. Dude, it was like it was something bird. He was like Robert Bird.
SPEAKER_03He was like the leader leader, yeah, like the KKK in the 90s, and this and that ain't too far off. The 90s we're talking, okay, 30 years ago, but still, dude, time moves fast. The 90s, you got your your former president of the United States of America being a fucking speaker at the fucking KKK's Grand Dragon fucking fucking fucking thing, dude. Like, what the fuck? What kind of life are we living in? Something a fuck that's something a drunk person would do. Like, come on, man. This shit is ridiculous. But yeah, how
SPEAKER_02I was gonna say, like, so our parties were like really like racially inclusive before Obama did it.
SPEAKER_03Until they wanted to fucking take over with salsa and then fucking fucking salsa dancing and shit. Yo, listen, man. I was outside for fucking six minutes. That shit got hostile taken out.
SPEAKER_02I mean you went out for a cigarette, we came back in.
SPEAKER_03We we because I tolerated it for a little bit.
SPEAKER_02We just kept going. Yeah, right. Like I'm not against you know, throw on some shit, whatever happened. Mix it up, but yeah, whatever, whatever. But nah, it was it was when I I bought that was when I would bring my system over.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you bring the stereo over. Yeah, bring the stereo with the three disc thing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and for those that are younger, I don't know if we have a younger audience or not, but we if we do, or if we gather one, you're listening to this. But we used to back in the day, we used to have to burn our own CDs. It wasn't like now you just hop on the burn them or buy them, yeah. Yeah, so I would burn like a mix CD for once a week for like a party or some shit, throw some new shit on there. Because back then you just hop on like Kazaw or LimeWire, just type in an artist's name, just be like, Oh shit, this is a song I haven't heard yet. It was like an underground shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, dude, we had on top of that, we had like a whole fucking like binder full of mixed CDs. Like if you wanted the new one we played once or twice, we'd switch it.
SPEAKER_02And so me and him go out for a cigarette, and one of the Spanish dudes come out and they go, Yo, do you mind if we put our shit in? But I'm like, Yeah, dude, go right, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I really didn't care, bro.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm like, go ahead, dude. I don't give a fuck. Some of the Spanish music's hot. I might not know what they're saying, yeah. But like that one from Breaking Bad, the Borosaban, or I'm like, I wrote the fucking same as ha.
SPEAKER_03You know what's messed up, but I noticed about the shield though, dude. And I'm not gonna stand the shield thing, but like all their Spanish music that was on their show was Mexican. Yeah, that was Mexican gangster rap, yeah, yeah, yeah, dude. Or Mexican, like fucking like. Really? Yeah, Sean Run. So I wonder if a lot of the shit like that the Navy police would do is like translate into like the cops.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and like he he was in LA when that ramp, because really the show's based off the Rampart scam, yeah, yeah. So the show's based on I heard about so I think he was in LA when that shit happened. He got on the series, but gam, that makes a good show. So that's why a lot of the parallels are there between the show and and that shit.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, bro, like yeah, that that was that was one of them. That was one of them parties though, dude. Like everything was fine, bro. Yeah, I mean, there was there was really no bullshit at those parties. I mean, some stuff, you know, but like nothing wild. It would be somebody would be fucking doing some shit outside, and then the party would spill outside and beat people up.
SPEAKER_02Or it would start inside, but they had enough respect and common sense to take it outside.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you ever notice they never really destroyed my shit? Yeah. Like if I asked motherfuckers to leave, they would just leave.
SPEAKER_02No, yeah, it'll be funny because there'd be people walking up and down the street on like a fucking Friday or a Thursday. Like, yo, you having a party this weekend? Be like, yeah, yeah, it's starting at like 7:30. I bet and bring me and my crew.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we like all right, but yeah, we we we had them often enough, yeah, to where motherfuckers literally dude would like come from all over the neighborhood and be like, What are you you you throwing down this weekend?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and be like, yo, or or or are they like yo, what kind of party you do? Jungle juice, yeah. Be like, nah, this one's just the BYOB kind of shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, bring your own shit, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, that's cool. That's cool. I'll be there.
SPEAKER_03And that's another thing. When I had my own fucking beer shit there, my own, nobody touched it. No, if I had like a couple 12 packs of Killians, nobody touched my shit either.
SPEAKER_02Remember that when we had the whole fucking bathtub filled with fucking it must have been like fucking nine 90, because that was a deep, deep fucking bathtub.
SPEAKER_03It was the one from the backyard. Was it? No, it was the one in the house. Yeah, we fucking tarped the fucking. No, I'm um yeah, blandina street. Yeah, yeah, we tarped the fucking tub. And we filled it with ice ice and then the Hawaiian punch and all the wickers, dude. Yeah, and then we had a trash can.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there was one, there was one where where brought people brought so many fucking different beer, but like they weren't bringing 12 packs, like there was like eight people that showed up with 30 racks, dude. And we're like, where are we gonna put all this shit? We had some in the fridge and where we had to come up with a pile.
SPEAKER_03Oh, we had to put it in the in the tub, yeah, yeah. We couldn't put there was no room for it all. Yeah, there'd have been about fucking 400 years in there.
SPEAKER_02Motherfuckers going in and out, grabbing one two at a time, just fucking yeah.
SPEAKER_03That was the bathroom was busy because we led to piss. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie though, bro. Like, there was some fucking massive fucking party.
SPEAKER_02Dude, and it's crazy because you were second floor. Sometimes I'm like, yo, can this shit withstand all this fucking weight we got up here, bro?
SPEAKER_03Freedom 67. I know.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, yo, the house wasn't that fucking big. Like, it was like it was expanding room only.
SPEAKER_03It just seemed like it was at moments because you never had an issue getting in and out to the porches and fucking like no, but you can sometimes you have to like weave your way through, but you go, excuse me. Whoop, whoop, yeah, that would just move out of your way. But what I'm saying is that you never had an issue getting in and out of the fucking house. You need to get out, dude. You can't do it.
SPEAKER_02There would there be people packed from the kitchen to your because you had that uh uh top balcony, yeah, so you had that little hallway, it would be packed from the fucking kitchen to people were spilling out into the fucking hallway.
SPEAKER_03Listen, dude, like I hate hanging out on the steps and shit. Yeah, I fucking I fucking hate I I I loved it and then I hated it at the same time. But you know what I always noticed too over time I have in the parties too, yeah, is that I noticed that motherfuckers would not leave that bitch completely trashed when I went to the house. No, no, that they're really it would be like it would be like my shit, yeah. That left ashtrays and fucking shit like that.
SPEAKER_02There wasn't like there wasn't like fucking beer towers and shit on the fuck table or anything like that. We don't want to pick up, like you know, back then, and maybe it's just like a respect thing that changed over the years, but you would tell you if tell people once, like, yo, your empties go in this bucket. Oh, all right, all right.
SPEAKER_03And they would just do it. They wouldn't just be like throwing on the floor and fucking. Yo, I'd catch I'd catch motherfuckers changing the can bag out. Yeah, put it on the floor, put it in the bag in. Where are your bags at, bro? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02It was just like a a genuine fucking respect thing, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, that was the thing, because I think we all did shit for each other in that neighborhood, even though it was a badass neighborhood.
SPEAKER_02That that's the thing, is that I think bad neighborhoods get a bad rap because that is a community though, dude. That's what I'm saying, it's a community within itself, yeah. Like, yeah, bad shit might have.
SPEAKER_03Nobody fucks with you if you're cool with that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like you might have B, because I remember I used to be scared to go down the store, and you're like, I was like 11 or 12 or whatever. No, I wasn't that young, maybe 13, 14. And I'd be like, yo, like, are you sure? And you're like, Josh, they know that you're my nephew knows that. Yeah, nobody's gonna bother you, dude. Just go. Yeah, no, but like the first time I was like, Fuck, I was para petrified. Yeah, but nah, you were right, like everyone's like, yo, oh shit, what's up, Josh? And I'm just like, Oh shit, they do know me around.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're oh you're around and you're with me, dude. So they needed not to fuck with you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, never had an issue in that neighborhood, never once.
SPEAKER_03And that and that's messed up because I had my own issues with certain people around there, but like they never fucking really went too far. I got a gun pulled on me on the porch, but that's about it. Can you ever tell a story of us of you uh bashing that dude's fucking head in the fucking door because he was screaming and yelling about fucking weed because you sold dirt weed? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh, no, wait, he was mad at you because your shit was better and people are coming to you and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they were literally bucked, he was trying to sell right off the corners, trying to jack my business, and and they were going right past him coming to my house.
SPEAKER_02I think you and him had a conversation before the fight in the store, and you and you were like, This is my block now, motherfucker. He was like, Oh, we gonna see.
SPEAKER_03We gonna see you want to know what it was, and I ain't gonna say the name, yeah, because it's just uh it's it's old, and yeah, I don't really want to operate shit. But here's the thing they had a reputation in that area, dude. Like that was their swap until until you fucked up. I didn't take it over. I didn't have goons and shit. No, I was on my own. Listen, you know what I think was weird about the whole thing, too? Not to be fucked up. Yeah, I did that shit on my own. Yeah, you did. I was alone, dude. Nah, I did all this by myself.
SPEAKER_02No, because your your strategy was dope, is you would open up with some with some fire and be like, yo, test this shit out. You know, be like, I ain't even gonna charge you. This is on me. And that's how you built your client base.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, then they would just start cupboard.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and they'd be like, Yeah, they'd be like, Oh, I don't know, you know, that shit from Sean had me fucking fucked up for hours. But yo, that that's another thing I noticed too. Like, I don't really smoke weed like that.
SPEAKER_03He was trying to give out fatter bags than mine to compensate, and they still would come to me as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. One thing I noticed from then to now is like, I don't care, you can have the dispensaries and all this shit. I have my own theory about the dispensaries. I feel like that they're spraying their shit, dude. I don't think that it's as strong or not as strong, but I'll tell you this. Back in the day, me, you and Jessico get a dub. Yo, we'll be fucking high as fuck for like three hours off of half a blunt.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02These days, you get high, like well, me, I get more paranoid than fucking high on the shit. Now I start getting dude, like I think.
SPEAKER_03That's why I don't smoke anymore.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dude, like I start thinking about shit. I'm like, yo, remember that shit you said to do to Walmart like three years ago? Why didn't I think about this shit, bro? What the fuck? Make me confront my demons because I want that shit.
SPEAKER_03Dude, I got to the point you you were, I think you were there where I was started peeking out the windows and shit. Like, I was like, yo, that ain't normal. That ain't normal high for me. Like, I don't like this shit. I start getting heart racing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and like you start like thinking someone's gonna come through my doors.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, what the fuck is going on?
SPEAKER_02Unrational fucking shit, dude. Irrational shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but to get back to the thing you were talking about. Yeah, I went down to the fucking store, dude. Yeah, I was went to go grab um I just wanted to grab a fucking 22 OE. That's all I want. Yeah, yeah. Go down there, I grab the fucking 22 and fucking Buddha was down there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and fucking still at um what's she called? He was at Damiano. I was about to say I haven't been in there.
SPEAKER_03Me neither. I know Packy Stan's probably in prison for fucking growth and fucking teenagers. Probably, he's probably that dude that was in the paper.
SPEAKER_02I was telling Quinn about that yesterday because I uh Jordan, um, she's heading off to Texas on Monday and she wanted to get some gummies. And I'm like, I'm like, you know, me and her, like I told her early on, like, I don't I don't like you going in those fucking Arabian stores alone. Because just just from like experience, yeah, that's like what you see, yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03What you've seen in there, yeah.
SPEAKER_02You don't want to give you ten dollars off, it'll be touch your ass.
SPEAKER_03Dude, like you know, like both that and you don't know how far they're gonna go, yeah. Like you if once you once you once a female goes into them stores and they are actually starting getting comfortable with them, they think like that's an opportunity to do shit to you. Yeah, so like and they can it's okay. So like I don't I don't I would I wouldn't trust a fucking adult female going in there that's alone at night.
SPEAKER_02Grandma's like she's a grown woman. I was like, Yeah, yeah, but you never understand. You ain't never been in one of these stores.
SPEAKER_03Again, I hate saying it, she's old. I try to get her benefit of the doubt. She doesn't understand how them people are, but she's never dealt with them in stores like we have.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she never walked into a corner store or a smoke shop.
SPEAKER_03Remember, we we we we introduced her to Sam. She was in fucking sabbatinos one time. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But Sam's and she actually went in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because me and you would talk about him all the time. And she's like, I want to see who he is. I think she thought he was gonna be some old guy with a beard. Yeah, she's not even gonna be old white guy, I guess his name was Sam. Like the Ayatollah or some shit. But nah, it wasn't normally clean shaven.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. We'll get back to fucking whatever, because we're gonna go all over the place like today. I can see so yeah, when I got a fucking 22 dude, and I fucking came out the door and I fucking there was a three concrete steps, dude, that you go down. Yep, and fucking he said some slick shit as I got toward the curb, and I turned around. He I was like, What? He was like, I was like, what he he he goes, he goes, I'm gonna let you know right now. He goes, You better fucking stop fucking selling your fucking shit around here. He goes, because this is fucking this is my block. And I just looked at him, I was like, whatever, dude. I go, no, I'm I'm not I was nice, I was white as shit about it, dude. Yeah, I was like, listen, bro, I'll make it simple. Nobody's stopping you from selling shit. Nah, yeah, you're right. I don't approach him and was like, This is our block. I I literally said it. I was like, dude, do whatever you need to do, bro. Yeah, sell what you need to sell. I don't care what you do. Yeah, I don't care if you're taking business away. I don't care, dude. Handle your business. Yeah, nah, I have a feeling I'm gonna have to fuck you up. I go, whatever, dude. And I fucking opened the fucking 22 with a twist off. I took a sip, I'm standing there, yeah, and he fucking spat toward me, and I fucking put the fucking 22 down on the fucking ground by the fucking fire hydrant. Yeah, and I walked over to him and he goes, Oh, oh, you think you're about that shit, you think you're about that shit. And I was like, I'm waiting on you, bro. Yeah, like we ain't fucking doing this shit today. I ain't in the mood for it or whatever. And fucking he fucking pushed me, and then I remember he was wearing a fucking globetrotter's fucking jersey, yeah, and I fucking grabbed him, dude, and I yanked him up toward the fucking stairs, and he tried to get his footing on the steps. I'm not forget exactly how it went down, trying to get his footing on the steps, and he slipped and he fell like flat, and I just pulled him into the door, and I fucking hit half his body was in there, and I just started shutting the fucking door on him. Like three, six four or five times. It started here, like the ribs and hip, and he was trying to get out, and he was push grabbing the door and trying to get out, and as he was trying to slide, I fucking and I heard crunk, crack, crack. Until this day, dude, he's got a lazy eye. Really? And every yeah, until this day, he's still got a lazy eye, and he's got a fucking like almost like a fucking Harry Potter gash in his eyebrow.
SPEAKER_02Wow, all from that shit.
SPEAKER_03And I fucking went home and I grabbed the fucking tweak when I came.
SPEAKER_02Just stood there and fucking.
SPEAKER_03No, dude, the only thing he said to me, the he said something to the dude who opened up in the morning. Yeah. And I always went there in the morning time to grab like a fucking cigarettes. Yeah, grab yeah, I grabbed smokes or fucking grabbed the Dutch and shit from the for the morning so I could smoke or whatever. I remember going in the next morning and he said that fucking Buddha told him that fucking if there's anything wrong with the fucking door, I'm gonna have to pay for it. All they cared about is if the door was fucked up. But again, I go over that neighborhood now and it makes me sad.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's closed.
SPEAKER_03The bar's gone. Yep, that corner store. That corner store's gone. Remember, they opened up the other corner store on the other corner, that's gone. I'm like, dude, that whole neighborhood is like it makes me sad. Dude, the whole it's like all my memories are gone.
SPEAKER_02The whole experience over there is dead now.
SPEAKER_03Bro, the amount of lines I did in Palm Grill, dude, like that was like the Coke bar at that time, wasn't it? Yeah, just walk in there to get something, just get a fucking eight ball right from some guy if I'm sitting there. Man, it didn't matter. You just if you need anything, you just go there, you know what I mean? Yeah, and fucking you go, but yeah, the fucking but yeah, you're you are right though. Remember, there would be times where there'd be so many people at our at the parties at that house, dude. Yeah, where music could be going and people would actually like start dancing in like the living room and shit. We move the tables into like the kids' rooms and shit, and you'd literally feel the house, dude. Yeah, vibrating in the room. No, it'd be going downward, you feel it. Like the floor would be like a big trampoline or like a mattress or something. Yeah, it would you you'd feel it, dude. Yeah, you'd be walking to go to the top porch, people be dancing. You'd literally feel the floor move, at least we could inch or two, yeah. And you'll come, dude.
SPEAKER_02What's funny is because like the people downstairs didn't come to everyone, but they never carry. But but not I was about to say, they never said, like, they never came up like, yo, the sh the ceiling, yeah. They didn't give a fuck, dude.
SPEAKER_03Nope, they didn't give that dude. But you want to know why? It's because again, I was really cool with fucking I was really cool with B, right? And we had a fucking personal and business relationship. Yeah, right. He would give me pills, I'd give him butt. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like so we had transactional You're getting the muscle relaxers and painkillers. Yeah, right. And then come to find out, he was one of the he was the second biggest fucking pill distributor in fucking Utica and he was my fucking neighbor downstairs. Remember?
SPEAKER_02I would have had no idea.
SPEAKER_03Like I would say no, he did. I know he was that big though. Oh yeah, he was the second biggest in the fucking city.
SPEAKER_02Didn't he get popped for it?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he did, and then he got off.
SPEAKER_02Wow, good for him.
SPEAKER_03Because he said the fucking he said some bullshit and fucking I don't know, I ain't saying he snitched, but he got up fairly quickly. I think he did like eight or nine months. Yeah, and then I it's funny though, I did run into his fucking son at Price Chopper. Remember his light-skinned son? He's mixed on every end of him.
SPEAKER_02The funniest shit too is he whenever he would see me because I had that little rap phase where I was writing letters.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, yo, yo.
SPEAKER_02He was like, Yo, you write anything lately? I'm like, Yeah, here and there. He's like, he's like, let me hear it. He's like, I'll go first. The first time he did it, I'm like, all right, bro, let's see what you got. Yeah, yo, yo, check it.
SPEAKER_03Yo, all right, it's yeah, it's on you. B was fucking awesome. I have to admit, the age that I am in um now, yeah, that this is how old he was when we knew him. Yeah, that's wow. So he's gotta be like 70, bro. Yeah, damn. That's why I'm like, yo, I want to get up with him and be like, at least one last moment. Last time I spoke to Amanda on Facebook, yeah, she said that him and Renee are still together and they fucking live on Ontario somewhere. And I'm like, I ain't gonna go knocking on every door, dude. Like, you know what I'm saying? But anytime I see it's weird, it seems like anytime I ask about the dude, she goes, Oh, I haven't seen him. And all I know is him and Renee are together. I know you fucking still see Renee, dude. You guys all were neighbors forever. Right. Your mom's fucking your mom's fucking was really good friends with her dude. Like he died? Who?
SPEAKER_02Like Amanda Panda or one of them?
SPEAKER_03Oh no, her sister died. Oh, yeah. I keep forgetting her fucking I was I forget her fucking name. It's fucked up.
SPEAKER_02She got in like a car accident or something. No, she didn't.
SPEAKER_03She OD'd dude.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's what it was. She fentled on accident, bro.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I was having that conversation at the wrestling thing. I ran into my friend Manny. Uh, you know, we used to go we used to go to his house, his dad used to do the because my setup, I didn't have access to the fucking movies. I only had the CDs. Yeah, yeah. You go over his cream. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So I ran into him at the wrestling on Thursday, and me and him were talking, and I was just like, yo, the pill shit is crazy. Like, I deal with people who only trust me because you don't want to put your life in your hands, fucking taking a fucking something that you you know, you don't know.
SPEAKER_03At least the shit I get is fucking you know. Well, you'll I think you'll know who I'm talking about because of their job. I'm not, I can't say either. Yeah, but I was speaking to fucking Quinn's godfather, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And um I was I brought up fucking, you know, coke stuff. Yeah, you know what I mean? And he was like, he was like, Yeah, he goes, I haven't touched it in years. And I said to him, I said, me neither. Yeah, and I go, Why I go, I go, I go, what's your deal? He goes, because anytime I've ever wanted anything, he goes, I can't even get it in like solid form. And he goes, I don't trust it, it's cut, and I don't know what it's cut with, so I won't get it at all. Yeah, and I like again, like I completely understand because it if by chance, and it'd probably be almost never never a possibility, but if I was to fucking want any, yeah, and someone did come and say, bring me a bag or pick me up, and it was just fucking cut up, I wouldn't take it.
SPEAKER_02Like, sometimes I get it. Like, if you're running low, tell me that. Yeah, you know what I mean? And I'll understand where you're coming from. But if everything you're giving me is just fucking powder, yeah, I'm not we're having ground. I'm not taking it.
SPEAKER_03No, I'm I'm well, I mean, I'm literally not taking I'll hand in the back. Right, yeah, you're not even getting my money. No, like here, yo, or I'll be like, Here, take some out and do it yourself. Yeah, yeah, do it. Yeah, right. And again, 20 minutes. Let's see. No, we had this conversation over text, and I go, it is so horrible that the rules used to be don't get high on your own supply. Now the rules are if he doesn't use it, I don't want to buy it from you. Yeah, because at least I know your ass is still alive. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_02Me and you were talking right now, so yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like I'm I'm like, I'm I'm like, so like the the the what the rules of the game changed, you know what I mean? That's kind of fucked up too. Um because that really was a rule, because it's that's because you get addicted to your own stuff, you're gonna use it more than you're selling, right? And then breaking even, yeah, yeah. Or if not, you mean putting in yeah, if you're using too much, yeah. Yeah, even if you're paying yourself, yeah, yeah. You're saying, oh, I want a 50 bag, I'll put a 50 in there, right? Like, yeah, okay, the money's coming, but it's your money, right? So what are you gonna compensate? You're not benefiting anything, yeah. So we had that conversation. Well, I'll get back to the party stuff though, because there was something that actually fucking was I was thinking about a couple days ago that like literally was blowing my blew my mind, okay?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03All them fucking parties in that house, probably excess of fucking a hundred.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_03Easy. It was fucking I was there, I was there five years, dude.
SPEAKER_02Yo, I was about to say the parties would run from like when it warmed up. We didn't really do shit in the winter. Here and there. Yeah, like every I'd say once a month, maybe. But spring, summer, fall, week weekly, bro. Every week. At least two to three a month.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. At least and sometimes if I had a day off during the week, I'd be doing that jammy on a fucking Tuesdays, huh? Yeah, and the whole name would still show up. Yeah, but the ghetto, yeah, and half of motherfuckers ain't working. Yeah, and then they would just come.
SPEAKER_02Like uh the Miguel, the dude that worked on a car, he don't give a fuck. He'll fucking work on a car, fucking hung over, just grab another beer and fucking hair of the dog kind of thing, and just fucking part.
SPEAKER_03This is what I was thinking about though, so I can so I don't have to keep going back to it. What I always thought was kind of funny. Out of all them fucking parties in that fucking house, dude.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, like I said, next to a hundred. Yeah, easily. Okay. Now my kids were there for every one of them and I woke up.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's crazy. And we have music bumping, not only that the people about people talking, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Dude, people arguing. Yeah. Dude, and they would stay the fucking sleep. Yeah. They wouldn't get up.
SPEAKER_02I think because they got conditioned. They wouldn't dig, yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_03They wouldn't d dude, they wouldn't even get up through the bathroom.
SPEAKER_02I it's I think it's kind of I always thought that was crazy. I think it's kind of like not to this extreme, but the only thing I really compare it to is like if you grew up in the country for fucking 15 years, and then you turn 16, you move to a big city. Sleeping's gotta be a fucking bitch, dude, because you're used to the peace and quiet, and I got cars driving around honking, fucking all this wild shit going on outside.
SPEAKER_03Because dude, they were dude, I'm not gonna lie. From such a young age. That the there was always like after, like when I kind of chilled out and shit, yeah, and didn't like party that often like that. Yeah, like there was always a part of me I had like some kind of fucking like guilt. Like, damn, bro, I kind of did what did that when my parents did the meeting, yeah, the parties in the house all the time.
SPEAKER_02At least they weren't like present. I mean, at least they were in the room, they weren't fucking like walking around. But the most part is different.
SPEAKER_03A lot of times they would be awake like when it started, yeah. Yeah, like when the very limited amount of people would be there, like the the regulars, yeah. Right, like yeah, like B, you, fucking, you know, Mary and fucking you know, Dave and Tim and shit. Yeah, like the regulars, like the family and the regular people, and then they'd go to bed before people actually started showing up.
SPEAKER_02Speaking of Tim, I remember I have one memory about him and you and it sticks out to me. He rolled a blunt, it was a Johnny Blaze blunt, that's what they called it back then. And he did he put some coke in it and he had it. I mean you were like, No.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_02He's not yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_03I mean, there were certain things I would let you do when you were that you know, and that was one of the things I wasn't gonna let ride that. I was like, nah, dude, we ain't gonna have him fucking smoke and a fucking coked out blunt.
SPEAKER_01Nah.
SPEAKER_03Home fucking collapse somewhere behind me. Like, I ain't trying to do all that. But like fucking, like it was a lot of fucking drinking and a lot of fucking smoking though, dude. Like I would have fucking half fucking blunt clips fucking all over that house in the morning, bro. Yeah, there'd be fucking half a dozen or so. I'd have enough leftover fucking weed from shit just left in ashtrays, bro, for like a good three, four days to put in a fucking bowl. Shit, you know what I mean? Just like sitting around, but I always thought it was weird that like they never fucking woke up, and I and I had fucking guilt for that, dude, for fucking years. But I'm like, dude, I fucking did them dirty. That shit is not fair. Yeah, but my my my parents partied like that, and we were in our fucking rooms while they fucking party too, and it was kind of fucked up, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But you guys, you guys will like come out of the room and like interact with the partyers and shit, right?
SPEAKER_03We were well, we were told to stay in the room. We we were we were like we were allowed to come out like if we had to use the bathroom or or if or if or if like one of our parents were like, Oh, you know, you can fucking come out and fucking hang out for a while and then go back in your room deal. Yeah, but like they didn't come out, but we would check the room and they'd be sleeping, yeah. They wouldn't even be awake, like racking the room and shit. Or painting with shit on the wall, like they'd be fucking sleeping. I would check every couple hours, I'd go look, yeah. See if one of them because the older one needed to use the bathroom, she was awake or whatever the fuck, you know what I mean? Because I wasn't gonna leave them in the bathroom and piss on the floor and an asshole, yeah. Right, but like I don't know, there was always a sense of guilt. Like, I felt like like, damn, bro. I always said to myself I wouldn't do that shit. Yeah, and I did it, you know what I mean? I always felt like shit for it, but then they went and lived with their mom, and she was a bigger fucking part of you than fucking I was, and that's what they lived with the rest of their fucking life.
SPEAKER_02So like like the guilt went away once I realized that fucking she'll be having like drunk dudes crashing in their room with them and shit, like yeah, some like black dude off the street in my daughter's room, yeah. Shut the fuck letting people move in off the fucking street living there. I'm like, what the fuck's going on, dude? I don't know how you reach that level of fucking. I don't know if it's addiction or just like drug use makes you think that's okay or what. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I mark my words that bitch is dying before me, dude. Oh, dude, definitely. Bro, last time I fucking seen her seen her, I think it was probably like four or five months ago, right?
SPEAKER_02My mom's wait, my mom's said, she came on the porch. No, it was after that.
SPEAKER_03And last time I seen her, I went up to see Zay quick before he got his fucking car on the road or whatever. Yeah, and I pulled up um and fucking she came on the porch and she was trying to get her other son to like shovel and shit. Yeah, and I'm not bro, I'm not lying, dude. That bitch is yellow. I was about to say, she this is not the first time she's yellow, bro. Like jaundice is yeah, even her fucking eye whites. Yeah, dude, and Zay told me straight up, dude. The doctor keeps telling her, like, dude, you can't keep doing this, dude. Like, I'm bad. That that's a sign of your kidneys and liver shutting down.
SPEAKER_02I'm glad I reached that conclusion on my own. Before I because you know, I mean, a part of it too is just like I used to think that, like, yeah, yo, I've been doing this shit for so long, I ain't never gonna have a bad hangover. No, bullshit, bro. No, 35 hits and you're just like, yo, what the fuck? I didn't do nothing different. I was saying the same amount I normally do.
SPEAKER_03I said the same thing, I said the same thing to one of my coworkers. I go, I said, party till the fucking wheels fall off, yeah, sleep four hours and go to work. Everything would be fine. Oh, what are we doing again? I'd I'd I'd feel like a little bit of shit first off in the morning. Eat something, make sure we get myself completely awake, maybe take a nice fucking shower, yeah, and get myself wakened up for the day, and I'd be fucking good to go. But it was just weird. It was like literally out of nowhere, I got fucking hammered. And I know I did, but it was a normal drunk. Yeah, it's probably. It wasn't no excessively shit that I did that I built shit that I normally didn't drink, anything like that.
SPEAKER_02No, it was just like a normal, just what I normally do. And then one morning I woke up and I go, Oh, fuck, that'd be a two-day hangover. Oh, wait a minute.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, bro. I woke up and almost the same exact thing, dude. I remember waking up in the morning, I go, holy, I feel I'm gonna feel like I'm gonna fucking puke.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I get up, go in the bathroom, dude. It's sure as shit, bro. I hit the bathroom, gotta throw up. I fucking puked. Then I had a massive fucking headache.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I was getting fucking. Those ones are the worst, like when you first wake up, because even if you eat before drinking, the alcohol is gonna eventually gonna outweigh you. It's gonna eat away whatever you ate. So you wake up puking, you're puking up this fucking stomach bile that smells it, it tastes like fucking chalk. Yeah, you can't get the taste out of your mouth for hours. It doesn't matter what you do.
SPEAKER_03The worst part for me is I'm a smoker, dude. And I remember I got up after I puked and I brushed my teeth, yeah, and I fucking came in my living room and I sat down and I fucked, grabbed the fucking newport out of the thing. I remember lighting it up, dude. And I took a drag and I blew it out. Yeah, and I don't know what it was, dude, but just the smell of that fucking cigarette. I wanted to fucking puke again, dude. Yeah, I put it in the ashtray, went back in the bathroom, fucking threw up, bro. Had to brush my fucking teeth a second fucking time because I threw up.
SPEAKER_02You it gets to the point you're scared to smoke a cigarette because you don't want it to happen again.
SPEAKER_03So you wait, you I waited hours, dude. Yeah, like four or five, six hours.
SPEAKER_02Some of those hangovers that though that day, like I didn't have the urge to smoke.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like you didn't want to do anything, you want to lay there, dude. Yeah, and do nothing.
SPEAKER_02And it's like I I know if I smoke, I'm gonna puke.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so I hate dude. And then like the I'll take a couple drags, I'd I'd I'd feel the shit coming up, and I'm like, dude, well, that's that's what was funny about it because like that was the first time, probably in about 20 years, dude, for me at that point, yeah, where like I literally sat there and I was like, I fucking can't do this shit all the time.
SPEAKER_02You know, like that's a thought I never thought I'd had because we were going so hard at one point in our lives.
SPEAKER_03I kept usually listening, I kept doing it, but they they just kept the hangovers kept coming.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and they lasted.
SPEAKER_03And they never ended. Like, like mine would last a whole weekend.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_03Like, I used to be it was a wasted weekend. I'd have a great Friday night, and then Saturday and Sunday, I'd be like, it's like recoup, yep.
SPEAKER_02And then like to work on Monday. Yeah, so it's like I'm just wasting my whole weekend in bed feeling like shit. And then, yo, you ever drink so much you have a what they call it hangxiety? To where it's like you're just fucking anxious as fuck because you have so much alcohol in your system from the night before. And you're still trying to shake it out, man. And you're like, yo, I don't want to drink more. I feel like shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like, that's how you know it's a bad hangover, where it's like, because normally me, I'm like, the cure is another drink, right? No, no, we used to.
SPEAKER_03When we used to park from your house, dude, we'd get up, we'd feel like a little bit of shit in the morning, and we'd have a little bit left on like the Evan Williams bottle. Yeah, we'd each take a sip and then fucking eat we evened out, and the rest of our day was good. Yeah, them days are over, dude. Yeah, man. You you you got me smell alcohol in the fucking morning when I fucking wake up, and I'm probably gonna fucking not make it to the bathroom. Yeah, I'm probably gonna puke on the fucking floor, dude. Yeah, or fucking somewhere because I'm not gonna make it. Yeah, and I noticed that the smell of alcohol the next day after I drink is almost the worst for me now. Now emptying out the dude, I've had the what pouring out little bits of the empty cans and put them in the bag. Yeah, and just the smell of it younger me didn't have a limit.
SPEAKER_02I would just go, I just go fucking, we're gonna kill the bottle, right? Now, on the small occasions I do drink, I probably drink fucking three times a year. Like I'll be drinking at the WrestleMania. I'll be drinking at the WrestleMania party that we rented the cabin for Saturday because Quincy's a drinker, but I'm not gonna be at grams, so you know I mean I can I can get away with shit.
SPEAKER_03Which I think is messed up, dude can drink fucking acid in a bottle, fucking IPA, you can't have a fucking glass of wine, it's fucking gay. Well, whatever.
SPEAKER_02But I get it because they also know that the version of Josh that they knew didn't have a limit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Nowadays, now that the age I am and I have the the experience of knowing, like, yo, if you go too far, you're gonna be feeling this shit tomorrow. Yeah, whereas when I was younger, it goes, I don't go to fuck with you, I'll just drink more tomorrow. Yeah, and it's gonna go away. Yeah, it's not like that no more, it's a different ball game now, dude. Different fucking ball game.
SPEAKER_03Like I said, I dude, I had this conversation with fucking Cassie too, like a couple weeks ago. I go, Yeah, I've been having moods where like I want to get fucked up. Yeah, and I'll have like a drink or two, and then my That's it, and then my core memory sets in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and it's like now how am I gonna feel tomorrow internally and then fucking died as I aged internally, like I said, on the few occasions I do, I have a limit now. Yeah, to where I know, all right, this is peak. I might have a headache tomorrow, but I'm not gonna be fucked up with stomachs and all sorts of shit.
SPEAKER_03See, I don't get there, I get to like drink two, and then my mind goes, if I keep going, right? What is tomorrow gonna be like? Whereas whereas younger me would just be fucking and then it is fucked up, and then I just and then I just shut it down because I know myself well enough that if I get to buzz, I ain't gonna give two fucking shits about how I feel tomorrow. I'm gonna have to deal with tomorrow. It's just that simple for me.
SPEAKER_02It if it was just a one-day trade-in, I'd probably still delve a little bit in the middle. It's not, it's a whole weekend.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I can't do it anymore.
SPEAKER_02I have I've had ones extending to Monday. Yeah, and I'm like fuck no, yeah, where you're just like the energy's fucking lethargic, I don't want to talk, I don't want to do my fucking job. Well, that's the same thing.
SPEAKER_03Like I said, when they when they started going from just feeling like shit one day to rolling into like day two, and uh that that's when I was just like I had to reconsider yeah, it's not worth it anymore. That and the that that and I was like, there was two considerations I had. One was try to drink less so you don't feel so bad, right? But I know I'm not capable of that, right? Right my body ain't capable of that. And I've always been one built, I've always been honest about that shit, dude, and I'll never lie about it. If I get past like drink three, I'm getting drunk that night.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03I already know it, so and I'm not sure when it's gonna end. Three is your that's your three is my it's on and fucking popping. Yeah, I get the like if I get to two and I'm like, oh, let me get a glass of water, I'm fucking, I already made the choice I'm done for whatever.
SPEAKER_02Bam Margera said something funny about fucking uh his mom when he when he was like big into drinking because yeah, you know, especially with the money he was making, I thought it would have been the same way. But his mom was like, Yo, why don't you have a beer and then have a water and then have a beer? And he's like, Because I'm trying to get fucked up. Like, I'm not just trying to be like Buzz for like 10 minutes and I drink some water in a base. Yeah, and then I have another one, then I'm back, and then I have another one in a base. That's not the point of what I'm doing.
SPEAKER_03It's weird because like the way my my brain makeup when it comes to drinking, yeah, is that I've always had the fucking had the opinion in my head that what's the point of drinking if I'm not gonna have a fucking drink.
SPEAKER_02At that point, it's a waste of money.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'm not gonna dude. You think I'm gonna fucking waste 28 bucks to have a take a couple pisses and go home? Like, I'm not that's not exactly I'd rather blow the 120 and get completely fucking smashed than fucking spend 30 bucks and buy an appetizer, sober up and go home. Yeah, like I never and it'll that could be that can be the fucked up part of the thinking of it though.
SPEAKER_02That's another part of of the stopping drinking that I've realized is that it's like I'll be drinking and all of a sudden like 1130 hissing, I'm like, fuck, I gotta craving for a pizza.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then you wake up in the morning and all of a sudden it goes, okay, I spent 26 on the bottle, but I had to buy an extra pack of cigarettes because I smoke like a fucking pirate. Yeah. Okay, so there's another fucking 15. Yeah. And then the food that comes along. And then like if if you're out and about, let's say you're out in a bar, and you know, they could be like, uh, how much how much is six wings? 50 bucks. I'll give me 10. Yeah. You don't think then you wake up in the morning like, oh fuck, dude.
SPEAKER_03I just fucked my whole week up. How am I gonna make it? Yo, listen, Joshua, I'll never forget the I the one time when I fucking remember I opened up a tab. I was with Danny, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And we were down, we were at fucking, we were at babes, and you opened up a tab after it was after a fucking shift. We worked at the Monaco's together.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So you went across the shift.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so we went this what we always do. We would go to the fucking bathroom, bro. We'd have a change of clothes quick. Yeah. We'd do like a bird bath, you know what I mean? Yeah, right. Wash up our fucking fucking parts, yeah, our our private parts and put deodorant on. You know what I mean? And fucking grab cologne out of our book bag and just kind of change quick and clean up in the bathroom and get changed. Have a couple drinks at the bar at Del Monaco's and then go across the street.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So we went across the street and um there was a bunch of other fucking dudes that were working with that went to and um fucking we just went over, dude. It was it was nothing out of the norm, was what we always did when we finished the Friday or Saturday night shift. Yeah, we'd always go to babes after our shift, dude. They'd be open to fucking 2 30, whatever. And they do last call at like fucking 10 to 2 and they let us stay and finish what we out what we wanted or whatever. Yeah, so fucking we fucking went over there, dude, probably about 10-ish. Opened up a tab, fucking everything seemed normal. When we ordered food, we just split shit. Oh, let's get a fucking well, you know, a fucking wood fired pizza, we'll split it. Yeah, right, right. Let's get some apps, we'll split it. But nothing, we didn't go crazy. We got a little bit of food, we're ordering fucking beer or whatever. And I don't know what happened. I think we just started fucking going shot for shot with each other. Yeah, I'll buy this shot, you do this shot, I'll buy this shot, you do this shot, we'll grab another beer, you grab another beer. So we were going back and forth. Like, yeah, I would do a shot and a beer with him, right? I'd pay for ours, then he'd do a shot and a beer. We always did, yeah, right. So we had our cards out there, and we had tab was open, yeah, and it got to about quarter to two, and we were like, Yo, we'll beat the rush out of this bitch. So we'll finish our fucking drink, have one more shot, we'll be out. Yeah, so all right. So fucking, I was coherent, I'll fucked up, dude. But I remember I remember and fucking I go to the fucking bartender, I ordered my last beer and shot. He bought his own last beer and shot. We didn't split that last one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And fucking we both said it to her, we were like, Oh, we're gonna I'm gonna close it out. So she was like, All right. So I took my shot, drinking my fucking beer. She comes over, she fucking puts the fucking receipt down. I fucking bent over the bar and looked, and I go, I looked at Danny, I go, Oh shit, how much is yours? Yeah, like she had to have fucked up somewhere. Right, yeah. Because I looked at mine and I'm like, yeah, right.
SPEAKER_02Now it was set up to for you were you have a split tab or was it?
SPEAKER_03No, what is is that we we made it the point, like we were going back and forth. Like I would buy I would I would buy his shot and beer and I'd buy my shot and beer and then he would be.
SPEAKER_02Because of that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but here's because that's why I asked. I looked down at the bill, dude, and I go, 187.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I go, that's fucking way higher than you know. Usually what, a buck twenty. Right. 130-ish, you know what I mean? I looked, I looked at him, I go, how much is yours? He goes, She didn't give it to me. Yeah, I said, All right, I'll wait. So I'm waiting. And he gets his.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And I go, what's it look like? He goes, That can't be right, bro. I go, why? And go, I go, he goes, mine's like 178. I go, you're kind of close. I'm like 180. So yeah, because we went back and forth all night. Yeah, nobody ever was like doing doing shit behind each other's bag.
SPEAKER_02Right, yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03It's just we didn't think we spent sixty dollars more than we normally did. Right. And we we already knew like the food. Yeah, right. Like between the two of us was 40 bucks. Yeah, right, right. Split 20, 20. You know what I mean? Because we even said it, like he's gonna get the wings, I'll get the pizza. It's around the same, it's like two, three dollar difference, or whatever. So we would do that.
SPEAKER_02But even so, even if you combine them amounts, there's no way you guys spent that much combining them.
SPEAKER_03So, yeah, so I looked at him, he looked at me, and I go, I go, it can't be right, dude.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03So I'm not gonna argue if Lady I'm drunk. Right, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So get you kicked out because you didn't know.
SPEAKER_03I literally looked at him, dude, yeah, and I know she heard me and I didn't care. I go, This don't seem right to me. This is what I normally drink. He goes, I don't know, bro. We had a lot of shots of genius. We probably had to have had at least eight. Yeah, but it but but it was it it was back and forth, but we were but but we're so close in amount that it could be right to me. True, but it didn't seem right, right. Yeah, like so maybe in my drunk mind it didn't seem right. Yeah, so I remember looking at him and I go, I'll pay it, dude. Yeah, because I ain't gonna get in trouble for not paying my tab. Right, I'll pay my tab. Yeah, so I I go, but I'm gonna tell you something right now. Something to me doesn't seem right, I'm not tipping.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, I wouldn't either.
SPEAKER_03He said, What? I go, I'm not tipping. He goes, well, if you're not, I'm not. I go, well, fuck it then, dude. Yeah, no, no. And I remember put it, I remember put a fucking zero with a line through it. Yeah, and I put my 180 and change and signed, yeah, and took my card, and I looked at him and he did 177, whatever, zero fucking sign in here.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and yo, one thing.
SPEAKER_03Something wasn't right, dude. That was fucking weird, bro.
SPEAKER_02One thing I heard about that, because a lot of people leave the tip thing open. The line no, don't do that ever. I've I've heard of these fucking servers fucking adding shit on their own, bro. Oh, you don't want to tip? I'll give myself $25 anyway.
SPEAKER_03Listen, like this is why I do, and I've always done it. Ask anybody who's ever been with me when I chose to tip zero because it was bad. Yeah, like my service was bad, or my food was horrible, or you took forever to bring my food out and it wasn't busy. Like, any reason for me not to tip, which ain't often at all. I tip 95% of the time. Yeah, but anybody who's ever been with me where I haven't tipped, this is the one thing I've always done. The biggest fucking zero that I can put on that line with a fucking line through it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so that way they can't manage it.
SPEAKER_03You can't even add a fucking number to it, it's gonna look fucked up, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And then you'll notice that because of that line through it. Well, that then you've got the circles with the zero's really big, yeah, with the line through it, and then you see my numbers underneath, but the total is normal size.
SPEAKER_01Right, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So you can't even be like, oh, I D did 20.
SPEAKER_01Right, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So I purposely make a big ass zero with a line through it. I've always done it. I don't know where the habit came from. Yeah, but like I've always done it and made it really big and put a line through it. But I everyone looked at me, why do you do that? Because I don't need her fucking putting $30 right on the fucking line, dude, because her fucking service sucked dick, dude. Yeah, I had I wasn't allowed to drink for 28 minutes. Jesus. And when you're drunk, you no, I'm talking about like even at dinner. Oh, oh, damn. You leave my cup empty for a half an hour and you're not busy, dude. Right, yeah. I get if you're busy, yeah. You know what I mean? At least you check on me and give me a refill, dude.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03If I have to flag you down for a drink, you're not you're getting like a five-dollar bill out of me. Yeah, right. Like that's and I'll leave something, but not much. Yeah, but like shit like that. But like it was one of those, but you I look back now and I'm thinking, like, you gotta understand. Me and him were doing shit like that, bro, two, three nights a week.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay. And you're talking, we were spending probably three to three fifty a week going out to drink, bro. Not including we both had cars, yeah, insurance. He was, but oh, you know, do you know what the catch was? I was fucking living at Graham's.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, oh, that's when you'd come in, she'd like come in like fucking like look at the club, no what time it is.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I yeah, I I was living at Graham's, he was living at his mom's at the time, right? So we didn't have the rent and more or mortgage bullshit going on, but it's still that's just wasteful fucking money, dude. Yeah, when literally, bro, I would think back and go, I would have been better off just drinking at home, but then I lived at my mom's and I couldn't drink at home.
SPEAKER_02I I I always tell people, I don't think I said it on here, but like there was a point to where like when I would drink, I would build my budget around drinking. You're like, all right, yo, so I drink this, I drink this, I drink a bottle every two days, three days, whatever. Okay, blah blah blah. I'm doing the math. Okay, well, all right, one bill is not getting paid.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so well mine would be dude, I would I would make it, I would make mine, I would I would make mine pretty simple. Like I would I would get it, I would get paid. Yeah, and I would know pretty much almost not to the dollar, but in a ten dollar range, yeah, of what I'm probably gonna spend going out like that weekend, right? And I would automatically take that money and move that shit into my savings, yeah, so that whatever was coming out of my checkings bill-wise would be gone. Yeah, and then I would just have to fucking just move it back to the checkings when I went out and then locked my card. You know what I mean? And do that deal. But it's you are right, there'd be a point in time where I would really allocate, yeah. I would know I'm probably gonna spend between 100 and 140 going out this weekend. Yeah, or if I was doing something with somebody's house, I'd be like, yo, I'm gonna save myself some money. Yeah, so I can get 230 packs for the weekend, yeah. You know what I mean? Get me some bud, yeah, and fucking be chill and probably cost me 80 bucks for the fucking weekend instead of fucking 140, 150. Yeah, but I would literally every week, yeah, it would be this is probably what I'm gonna spend on alcohol this weekend. Yeah, so I'm gonna make sure that everything's taken care of and I have my cigarettes and gas in my car, everything else, drinking. I don't care if I'm broke. I don't care if I'm broke. There's gonna be times I go into my overdrafts and shit to drink, dude. Oh shit, I'm 130 over. I gotta pay that back. Oh, well, fuck it, whatever. Let's go pay it back. Guess what? They're gonna give me 150 again next week, so fuck it. Yeah, you know, right? Yeah, so I know I can use that as a cushion and a buffer. Yeah, but that just goes to show people like your drinking can get that out of hand to where you're willing to put yourself in a very fucking bad financial financial situation, dude, that probably will take you six, seven, eight months to get out of if you choose to stop drinking at that point. Right. Because if you don't, you're staying in that circle.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you're staying in the circle. Or you're fucking like, damn, yo, where's all my money going?
SPEAKER_03Because how you say it, even though he was a drunk, used to say it when I went in the military. Yeah, smart at the best advice I can give you stay away from the drunks and stay away from the gamblers. Yeah, I stayed really far away. Listen, I stayed away from the fucking gamblers. Yeah, because I remember but I I I went to the drinkers like a moth to a flame. Yeah, I it was just uh it was it was I was just second nature to me.
SPEAKER_02I I think you had just got back from the military. I'm pretty sure you you you might not remember Grandpa Sammy saying this to me, but you know I was doing it. We I'd go over Mitch and Mikey's.
SPEAKER_03Oh, you bet with cards and shit, yeah, and dice and shit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and the porch. So at first it started with nickels and shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you fucking but he was right, it goes up, dude.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he was like, I came home with like a trough of fucking nickels, bro. I must have a fucking 26 bucks, which to me a 13, that's a lot of money, dude. You know what I mean? Yeah, like grandpa, dude. I'm like, grandpa, look how much I won. He was like, he was like, he's he's like, you know, just be careful with the gambling, be careful, it's gonna escalate. Yeah, and it did because it went from nickels to fucking dollars and fucking five. Remember, um Mitch, remember Alien? Yeah, he got mad, didn't he? Yeah, yo, because Mitch fucking um it got to the point to where Mitch won his whole fucking paycheck playing C Lo in the street. Yeah, he was doing the double or nothing shit, right? And then Alan goes, Alien, he he goes, he goes, double or nothing, bro. He was like, If if if you win, if you win this here, you can have my car. And Mitch, you know, Mitch is a car guy, dude. Yeah, he was like, Yeah, I'm gonna get a lot of things. I'm like, Mitch, don't bro, yeah, the neon. That's why we're called alien, yeah, because he had the fucking neon lights at the bottom, and it was fucking neon green. Yeah, and fucking uh Mitch, he I told him, Mitch, don't do it, bro. You're you already got this whole paycheck, bro. We're fucking 14, dude. Just keep it, bro. I want the car. Fucking lost it on that one roll, dude. Lost everything on that one roll, bro.
SPEAKER_03Wasn't it another time he was an asshole to somebody and Mikey was about to beat him up?
SPEAKER_02Me, me, because because because fucking uh Eminem dropped that MM show CD and all of a sudden he fucking dyed his hair fucking blonde.
SPEAKER_03Oh, and he started getting the arm to remember.
SPEAKER_02I used to pin on him, bro. But so he wouldn't say nothing to you because you were grown. I would fuck him up, dude. He knew it too. He said something to me. I was like 14, 15, and and Mikey stepped up, bro. Motherfucker stepped up off the porch and he he was like, he was like, Don't fucking say that shit to him. He's like, I'll beat your fucking ass. And Alan, he fucking jumped off the porch and hopped into it.
SPEAKER_03It's messed up because that was Mikey's friend, and it fucked up part, dude. Is he I would I said this to Cassie, I think about a year ago, dude, but Mikey, right? Yeah, and I brought it up to her.
SPEAKER_02We should get him out of here.
SPEAKER_03I bet you she just she just winked at me because I don't think she knew how to grasp like that's what like even though like you're not super cool with the person right now living wise right in your life because everyone has their own shit going on. But I even turned around and told her, I go, listen, that dude is one loyal motherfucker, dude. I go, because you want to know what? If I wasn't around and shit popped off, dude, with Joshua or somebody fucked with someone in my house, Graham and Poppy shit.
SPEAKER_02Even the shit with the with the mayor, dude, down the street with fucking grandpa.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. He got right in the middle of that shit. Well, that's what I mean. He called me. Yeah. He's like, dude, can you get over? I said, no, I'm at work. Yeah. He goes, Oh, I got it then. Yeah, he walked right out to the club. Listen, you got a fucking problem, motherfucker. Oh shit. Because I said that to Cassie, I go, listen, I go, dude, I go, when I wasn't around to look out for Joshua and my mom and dad and shit, when people would fuck with them in the neighborhood, dude. I go, if Mikey was around, nobody would fuck with them. Yeah. Because that dude would literally come out and box their fucking head off. It didn't matter what he was doing. He can be in the middle of the card game. He'd be like, yo, I'll be right back. Yeah, stop what he was doing and go, and I go, you want to know what? And I go, me and Mikey were always cool as fuck, dude.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03He was like a best friend, but we were always cool as shit, though.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03We always had a decent fucking friendship, bro. We never, never had a beef ever. Right. We disliked the same people in the neighborhood. We hated fucking sand and shit.
SPEAKER_02I remember he picked him up with Undertaker fucking choked him against the fucking.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and fucking his uncle came out.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And fuck it, I was standing there and he was like, let go of him. And Mikey looked at him. He was like, no, I'm not fucking letting go of him. And he had that nigga by the neck, pinned against the house with his feet off the fucking floor, kicking his fucking feet. And his orange headed friend tried to get in the middle of it. And I remember fucking knocking him through the fucking fucking metal fence. It was still broken. Yeah. Dude, I fucking pushed him through it and I broke the top pole. Yeah and then knocked his friend into the fucking into the yard, dude. And I'll never forget it, dude. And the whole reason was we were up there, we were up at fucking Pixley's crowd playing baseball, dude.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_03And fucking Sammy and his little fucking funky ass fucking friend kept throwing fucking rocks at us, dude.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like into the fucking tennis courts because we were playing baseball with the tennis ball. Yeah. And they kept throwing fucking rocks, and everyone else would just let them do that shit. Oh, they're just fucking around. I go, I gave it a fucking me and Michael were like, he hit us with a fucking rock, dude. I'm telling you right now, I gave it a fucking rock, bro. We both were saying the same thing. You hit with a fucking rock, I'm gonna fuck that kid up, dude. Yeah, and sure as shit, they launched a rock from the fucking um the um sandbox or whatever. And we weren't super young, we were teenagers, dude. And he fucked hit a rock and it fucking hit the ground, dude, and fucking ricocheted and fucking hit Mikey in the fucking back. And he fucking turned around, he goes, I'm gonna he goes, I fucking see you, you little motherfucker. I'm gonna beat your fucking ass, right? Yeah, and what are the chances, dude? So we get done, they left, we stayed to play, right? Yeah, so we're leaving, and normally we go down church hill, right? And cut through the state to the top of our street and then go down. But for some reason, dude, Mikey was like, We're taking the long way. And I'm like, all right. So we went down and over Highland, right? And as we're going, dude, I'm thinking, I'm like, he wants to see these motherfuckers at Santiago's house. Yeah, because that's they're related. It was it, I think it was just like a guess, like, let's see if they're over there. He didn't say it.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03I was just I was going, I'm like, whatever, dude, I'll fucking walk that way, whatever. So we're walking down, we turn the fucking corner, and sure as shit, dude, he's fucking standing right there near the back of the house. You know how they have the little alleyway that goes to the back door. Yeah, him and the orange dude were standing right there. And Mikey didn't didn't run or nothing. He instead of fucking taking the sidewalk to go down highway, he went at an angle to cross the street over to where he was at. Yeah, and Sammy was there laughing. Oh fuck you, I'll hit you another fucking motherfucking rock, bitch. And Mikey just uh calmly walked and he just did this. Grabbed him by the neck, dude, and just walked mad hard, dude, and got him against the house, dude.
SPEAKER_02So he wasn't even standing next to the house, he just like forced him against the house. Dude, he grabbed him by the neck and he pushed him up the alleyway up to the house and literally picked him up. That motherfucker sneaky strong for being lanky.
SPEAKER_03Well, he that's all they do is work, dude. True. They always worked labor jobs. Yeah, true. Manual labor shit. Dude, he grabbed him two hands, bro, yeah, and had him against the house. Like Michael Meyer. He's like, right? And I'm fucking standing there laughing. Yeah, and all of a sudden, like I said, his orange haired friend tried to get Mikey off him, and he tried to come through like the side, you know they have the backyard fence. Yeah, and then you go through and then the alley comes. And he fucking tried to get fucking grab Mikey and get him off. And I seen him come in, and I just went bam! And I shoulder blocked him, dude. He broke the fence and fell into the yard. Yeah, and then fucking the Santiago dad came out all your fucking hands fucking off. And Mikey looked that dude dead in the face. Nope. I ain't letting go of that little motherfucker. He goes, he fucking hit me with a fucking rock real piece of shit. Yeah. And he fucking Carlos goes, put him down, I'll deal with it. He goes, Well, if you fucking don't next time, he'll be fucking in a bag. And he fucking let him down. And we started walking away, and all of a sudden we just heard fucking Carlos slapping the shit out of him on the parts.
SPEAKER_02I believe it, yo. That was an abusive dude, but he was slapping the shit out of that kid, dude. The thing with Carlos Sr. is that he he was abusive, but not not like Henry. Not like Henry, like like not for little shit, but for shit like that. Like if he was disciplining your kids wise, dude. Yeah, that's what I mean.
SPEAKER_03He was he was he was a hardcore disciplinary kid.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he he he he wasn't like the fuck out.
SPEAKER_03I've seen them beat the fuck out of his wife in yard mad times though, too. Yeah, well I guess that's a quarterly.
SPEAKER_02That could also be discipline. I mean it depends on the situation, but she I wonder if they're still together. They were together fucking forever. Uh you know, I think at a certain point you just don't leave. Yeah, you know. But the one story I did want to get into because that's what triggered this whole thing, is this this fucking spades game at the party. That's still one of the funniest things about it. It's funny because all that shit we talked about, I think, was at the same party. The fucking the fucking the beers in the fucking tub with the ice, the jungle juice spot can.
SPEAKER_03Here's the thing, it was my birthday because he came up early and said we were doing shots of Jack before fucking anybody came because it was my birthday. He wanted to chill with me first. Mikey was at that one, he wouldn't leave until he did a shot. Yep. I told him it wasn't about the top porch.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean his his piss poor argument was like, I can't, because I don't know. I'm getting no so you fucking called Tom yourself. Yep. You called the house and we're like, yo, Tom.
SPEAKER_03No, I had I made Mikey give me his phone and give me the number. I called from my phone to the house. I go, hey Tom. I go, he wants to be picked up in like an hour. He said he can grab him. He's like, Yeah, I'm good. And I said, now you gotta ride doing the show.
SPEAKER_02And then he took off, he's trying to sit on the porch to avoid it the whole time. You came out with the bottle on with two glasses. Mikey, you said, dude, he wasn't expecting to get away the whole time. He's gonna have to walk. Yo, he thought he'd go walk everywhere.
SPEAKER_03He thought he would sneak on the top porch and wait till it's fucking ride and then fucking out the fucking front door. I was like, nope, you're getting away with that.
SPEAKER_02I'll never forget you walked out with a smile on your face with the bottom. You're like, come on. You can tell by look at his face, he's like, huh.
SPEAKER_03He's like, uh, really, dude. I'm like, yeah, you fucking said so. You gotta be a person of your word, bro. He's like, fucking all right, but just one. I said, All I asked was one, dude. Yeah, right. And he did. He took a fucking shot. I go, all right, Mikey, you could you're you have my permission to leave. Yeah, you have my permission to leave. He goes, Thanks, bro.
SPEAKER_02It was funny, it's like before after he left is when everything popped off. Everything was cool and cooperatic, like that shit. And someone someone suggested, let's play spades. And you know, spades is my spades.
SPEAKER_03Well, B wanted to play spades, he's the one who brought the cards up and shit.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, all right, yeah. And spades spades is because we were playing before majority of people got there. Yeah, right, right, right, yeah. And spades is my shit, bro. I'm a good spades partner. I'm nice with that shit. There's nothing worse than that. I still play it on my phone. There's something, nothing worse than having a bad spades partner. So what the fuck are you doing, bro?
SPEAKER_03You know, you got to know timing is when to throw cards. Yeah, dude. You get into what to throw when to throw it.
SPEAKER_02You have to pay attention to what other other people are throwing for what you can hold on to.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, if you have listen, if you have fucking you you have fucking something, dude, you fucking throw trash. Right. You feed your partner all your good shit. Right. Yeah. Because they're the ones that get you either way, you're getting your books. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, the one. Yeah, because yeah, I want to get into that. So uh it was the same dude that puked, right? I'm not sure, but I know he said something real fucked up to that guy. And that shit made me fine. I thought he was gonna beat him up. Nah, so what happened was we were starting a new game. Because like he said other than people wanted to play. Right. And uh I think I think the cards are still on the table, like set up from the last game.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But more people came, so we stopped playing. So someone someone's like, Oh shit, y'all was playing spades. Yeah. And we're like, yeah. So he was like, alright, deal me in or whatever. And dude looked at B and he was like, Yo, OCJ rules.
SPEAKER_03No, he didn't, no, he didn't. He he said something about fucking playing a certain way. And B goes, the same fucking OCJ motherfucker. Remember, he got out of the chair, you're trying to beat him up, dude. Yeah, he wanted to play some weird rules of spades that we don't play. Yeah, the jailhouse rules version, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. He was like, You see your bars around us, motherfucker. Dude, he got instantly pushed. Dude, he got out of the bottom.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I've never seen him get like aggressive like that, dude. So I turns. I'm like, holy shit, yeah, dude. He threw the deck on the fucking table. Yeah, no, dude, he threw the deck on the table and he got up, bro. I had to get up, man. I'm like, beep beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. Chill, chill, chill. He's like, nah, bro. He goes, he goes, You motherfucker want to play like we're locked up. He goes, Let's get motherfucking locked up. I go, oh shit, dude. I go, all right, chill out. I go, I go, go on the top portion smoke.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Because I'm dead serious, bro. Like, I think that triggered something in him, dude, to where he wanted to fucking hurt that fucking kid.
SPEAKER_02I mean, he did do jail time. He probably does know OCJ rules and shit, but like you didn't know.
SPEAKER_03He did he was did 15 years when we met him. He was only out of jail for like a year or two.
SPEAKER_02Oh, damn. See, I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_03But he probably did that. He used to get the fucking federal paperwork, federal parole paperwork in this mail, dude.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he did 15 years. That shit probably fucking triggered something in them to be like, yo, like instantly got that.
SPEAKER_03I've taken me back to jail, bro. We used to fuck with him about all kinds of shit, and he never would get mad. He'd laugh and shit. Right. That for some reason, dude, triggered something in him, bro. Because he instantly got pissed.
SPEAKER_02I think that's because we had that kind of like this was a stranger.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well, it was, but he still was like, he knew me. Right. I think it was more of Tim's friend. I think who it was. Because it was the same dude who puked on the floor. Yeah, yeah, that's what I was saying.
SPEAKER_02It was the same dude who felt out of it. Yeah. And that's probably why I made him clean it up. It's like a humiliation fucking thing. You want to fucking after the fact.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. He's like, no, he's cleaning your floor up.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because you you had offered to do it. Bro, he's like, nah, he's like, Sean, sit down, sit down.
SPEAKER_03He said, It's your birthday. He dude, he came over, he fucking slapped your crib. Dude, he slapped him in the side of the head and he went, uh. And he had the fucking pizza on his lap. And fucking, he opened his eyes, and he threw a whole roll of fucking paper towels at him, hit him in the fucking fashion to pick up the fucking before before anyone even came out.
SPEAKER_02That was like pizza on his lap on your couch. Yeah. So he got like rejuvenated and started partying again.
SPEAKER_03He woke up like he's like, Where's the bottle? Yeah. And I go, it's right here, bro. You know me. I wasn't going to be encouraging.
SPEAKER_02I know you guys can't see this, but he laid like this, just straight, relaxed on the couch.
SPEAKER_03He was out, bro. He was sleeping, dude.
SPEAKER_02Balancing on his knee, it didn't fall. He was sleeping, bro. He did not move. He was like coma fucking sleep. Statue sleep.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he was fucking out, bro. Like, but he was sleep sleep. Yeah. Like he was passed out sleeping. And then all of a sudden he woke up and it was back on.
SPEAKER_02No one woke him up, was like, yo, B. He just like must have just realized that he was like dreaming. He went, he did like a oh shit.
SPEAKER_03Oh fuck, yo, where's that bottle at? Yeah, you came to the kitchen. I'm like, right here. I said, I said, I was gonna leave you there to sleep till tomorrow, bro. They're gonna wake you up.
SPEAKER_02And that's like before the car even got jumping.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. That was a fucking dude. Yeah. Listen, man, I hate saying I miss that fucking dude, bro. I'm not gonna lie, if there's anybody, if there's really anybody in that neighborhood I actually genuinely miss fucking just talking to and fucking laughing, what dude is that fucking guy? We used to have a fucking blast. It's funny too. I used to pick out his girlfriend, she used to talk to her dogs like they were human. Yeah, more human than a human. Dude, she got she got mad when she asked me to name my cat.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she's so cute.
SPEAKER_03She goes, What's the name of your cat? I go. And she goes, huh?
SPEAKER_02And then their dogs mauled it to death, right?
SPEAKER_03Yep. Killed number one. Yeah. Listen, because I hate naming animals, so I just used a generic shit. Remember, I had two cats. Yep. Number one and two. Yep. And then I that was the one that would come to nothing but Yeah, right. The other one would come and come here, Deuce. Right. And you come.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_03You know what I mean? But number one would only come to the.
SPEAKER_02He would only respond to like cat noises.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's it. Yeah. And all come running. Yeah. Yeah, it's fucking, yeah, it's um and we're just like, fuck it, I guess that's his name. It's the only thing he responds to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fucking what you call it? Sam fucking broke its back. And my fucking I had to kill it.
SPEAKER_02It's so fucked. Yeah, I mean, yo, you had to put it on the colour.
SPEAKER_03I didn't want to read, bro. You had to I put a blanket on him instead of step on him, dude, because he was fucking twitching, flopping around the fucking floor.
SPEAKER_02And like, I can't even lie, like, they did feel bad.
SPEAKER_03They got it another cat. Yeah. Like three days later, dude. Yeah. I mean, they replaced it. And but it's if you want to know what's messed up, that that that situation, it was everyone's fault.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay. I the door upstairs was open. Well, the door upstairs in my apartment was open.
SPEAKER_02Because you used to still smoke and now I'll be able to smoke in the hall because the kids.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it would sit right there by the doorway. Yeah. Yep.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_03And the death door was open, and then when they fucking brought the fucking dog out, they would let him loose out front. Yep. But for some reason, this one time, bro, that fucking cat Sam fucking busted a U-turn up them stairs and nobody could get to that dog in time. By the time it got in my house and into fucking my daughter's room, it had the cat in its fucking mouth. Nobody could. So it was everyone's fault.
SPEAKER_02You got in like the guillotine. Yeah, the cat would just accept it.
SPEAKER_03It finally accepted the fact that it was the way it was going to get carried out of the fucking house. At first it would just be a good thing. But then once it did, once it just realized this bitch ain't letting me go. Yeah, this is just how this might look. She would just dangle like into the fucking noose. Yeah. Like the Roman Rings guillotine fucking thing. Yeah, and would just swing in her arm while she's walking. And we go each other correctly. Yeah, chilling her own. Yeah. It wasn't like it wasn't like, you know, no, but you but I think it was funny you see her walk and you see the cat like swinging like the pendulum walking through the house. All right, we gotta stop, dude. We're gonna go for two hours. That shit was a fun one though.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, all right. Um we'll we'll do another one of these trips down the memory lanes. Yeah, these ones are fun, man.
SPEAKER_03They're fun.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Next week we'll I don't know, we'll do something about but we did we listen, we went everywhere. We did politics.
SPEAKER_02Let's see what the chapters look like tonight.
SPEAKER_03Oh, dude, we're gonna be fucked up.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. All right, guys.
SPEAKER_03Uh we'll see you next week. Hell yeah. Later. Peace.
