Speaker 1:

Sadnam, welcome back to the portal Portals of Bloom. This is episode four. Here we go.

Speaker 2:

Way to go.

Speaker 1:

So we thought, we made it, we're still here. So we thought we would dive into 2024, this episode being our fourth episode and just kind of reflecting on the year's past, and talk about how we're going to handle this year. What do you think?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know I mean we're riding still the waves of the new moon, so it's just perfect to set intentions for new beginnings and how we want to kind of lean into what 2024 may look like.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, 2024. So two plus two is four. And then you got the four, so 2024. Is eight.

Speaker 2:

So eight is infinity, so infinite possibilities are available.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

You know, and yesterday on the new moon, we had a really beautiful 1212 code and that's just a portal of positivity, abundance, clarity. And then you reduce that to one plus two is three, three, three, three is just. Again you kind of pull in that trinity aspect and then it's a derivative of 33, which is 33 spinal columns, or no. So you know, vertebrae is down the spinal column, so it's just, it's a good, it's a good moment to be on the roller coaster.

Speaker 1:

So, with that in mind, you know we want this to be short episodes that are super impactful for people, and so we wanted to share how we are, strategically and with our hearts, taking on 24 or stepping into the new year. And you know, the thing that's really fascinating with a new year is, you know, you have all this like New Year resolution extravaganza. It's a very interesting moment. It's like a birthday, christmas, thanksgiving, new Year's and then New Year's resolutions, right?

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm, but your soul says all of these things.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, all these things. So the cool thing about all of these things that we just spoke about and why Myro is obsessed with the moon cycle, for example, is because each moon cycle represents a fresh start, and fresh starts in our minds are like landmarks. They literally feel like landmarks in our minds. So, for example, like a new year, new year, right, you get the New Year's resolution and people ideally try to have a better level of performance than they normally do, and they do for a little bit. The other fascinating thing if you look at other fresh starts, like, did you know that?

Speaker 2:

You sound like hero. Did you know that? Did you know?

Speaker 1:

So the age, you know the ages where people join marathons for the first time is 29, 39, 49, a lot in the 39, 49 ages like turning 39, going to 40 or, you know, 49 going to 50. Those are the years where people actually do really wild things.

Speaker 2:

Yeah well, it's almost like a new fresh, a new lease on life.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, and so, knowing that this is how we operate, we use the new moon and the full moon as these landmarks that are in alignment with nature, that give us fresh starts, especially the new moon, and quite often we can also have that experience on the full moon.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, with a combination to reflect and to also kind of clear, clean. We call it cleaning because you get to clean kind of a little bit of like parts of ourselves that made decisions under pressure or circumstances or the idea of shootings and then you get to kind of like oh actually no. What do I need for me for the sake of the people around me? So you get to kind of clear that out.

Speaker 1:

So, knowing that there's this like magic and fresh starts, we wanted to really take advantage of that this year and looking at, I guess, even just the numerology of 2024, and also like just thinking about like how fast did this year go by?

Speaker 2:

It's like a blink of an eye, but it was also a very pressured year, so sometimes when we go through trauma, we speed through it. So a lot of people, I mean at least reflecting, I just can't least reflecting. I just came off from the tip of the mountain leading an amazing, incredible retreat with like 13 magical women well, including myself and my mentor we call it.

Speaker 2:

So it was just like a lot of the reflections of the year were like it was difficult, it was lots of pressure and even for us just reflecting on a personal note just we were we were maybe over ambitious.

Speaker 1:

We've done a lot of big things, like you know building a new shop. Moving, we moved twice. We're about to move again three times this year. Not that we wanted to, but it's just, you know, post pandemic and the way Bali's happening, so we had to move a few times.

Speaker 2:

We went to Japan for a month with toddlers not the best idea.

Speaker 1:

But it was a good idea. It was ambitious, though, and then we went on a huge trip to another island called Sumba, here in Bali, and that was also ambitious because it was so long.

Speaker 1:

So, going into 2024, we realized, we learned you know this is a lot about yourself and when you start planning the year, it's like, okay, what did I learn in 2023? What were the key themes? What don't I want to do again? What do I want to do again? And just kind of getting clear, that is that Pareto's love, like identifying what. Those 20%. It's the 80 20 rule, right. So they said 80, 20, 80% of your actions. Give you 20% of your actions, give you 80% of your results, or even the, you know, 20% of your actions give you 80% of your happiness, your joy.

Speaker 1:

What are those 20% of things you could do in life to actually really enjoy your life, even through the most difficult of times like kind of what we're feeling right now.

Speaker 1:

It is intense, it's traumatic, you know thinking about, you know what's happening in the Middle East, and but yet we're focusing on the little things that actually keep us sane and happy. You know, we're going to the beach, we're. We're watching the sunset, we're taking our kids for walks, we're. You know, we're doing all the little things right now that kind of actually keep us in a very good space.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, what was that thing? That we were practicing like 2% each day.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're just going for small percentage improvements, right. So we're trying to be consistent in different things. You know. So you know, as we get into the new year, right, so everyone's gonna be super stoked New year's, new year's resolutions, right. And here's the problem is that we all know there's new year's, new year's day, and then, like you had, Christmas, but it's not so much of a problem, it's more of like the challenge.

Speaker 2:

This is the challenge.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, the challenge is that there's all this hype and then, but everyone's still in vacation mode like halfway through January. No one really gets going, or maybe some people do, but the new year's resolution kind of like plays itself out and then you get some motivation and some of you know how to do it and make it through and are super high performers. But, being like me and maybe even you, we're very feeling people and we're very I'm a very sensitive soul and I feel things and I sort of go through these rollercoasters of things. So I personally need to set things in place so that I can keep my performance at a certain level and at even just a normal level. And so what we've been taught to do is think of years. Like in business, we think of what we do an annual review, right, for example. So even like now, we look back at the year and actually we're pretty proud of wow, we did these two or three very big things and we're quite proud of it.

Speaker 2:

That also didn't go without sacrifice.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, a lot of.

Speaker 2:

And we get sometimes if I'm you know, if you allow me sometimes when we do these, you know big leaps of faith or leaps of, you know, stretching our container. We get kind of trapped in the sacrifices that need to be made in order to get the results that we're leaning towards experiencing more of. And if we can consider for a moment that what you gain, like what your ROI, what your return on that investment is, it'll also generate kind of a long-term legacy of what you wanna bring in life and what your destiny, what your fulfillment is in life. So don't be afraid to sacrifice, don't be afraid to be in the discomfort, but also I love where you're going, cause, yeah, go there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we have two keywords for 2024. One is alignment, which is you know, once you get to know me, at the very least, I am obsessed with alignment. I live alignment, I teach alignment, it's everything about my life is about alignment and we'll talk about that more and more as we get deeper into the podcast and the other word is grace. So we got alignment and grace.

Speaker 2:

Which I'm obsessed with. Yeah, that's a much obsessed with, but it's kind of my, my touchdown. You know, how do I do this with more grace, how do I embody more grace, how can I be more graceful, especially as a parent, as a mother, you know, and be able to hold that archetype, and also as a business leader and as an entrepreneur and as a head of, you know, amazing hungry staff, and by hungry I mean like inspired. They're, like they can't wait to like hear the next. You know inspiration and, yeah, developments, growth.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So you know, alignment is like what direction are you going, you know, and is that the right direction for you? Right, and looking back at 2023, for us, we realized, wow, we actually maybe took on. We were very ambitious and we took on a few too many big projects, which led to a lot of stress for us. So this year we're simplifying, we're going deeper, not wider. We're gonna focus on implementing things and we're gonna take instead of looking at it.

Speaker 1:

You know again, what I was talking about just a few seconds ago was the problem, the opportunity, if you wanna rephrase it, with the whole New Year's resolution piece, the conversation that happens is that there's like all this excitement to fresh start and then reality kicks in and you're just not be able.

Speaker 1:

You know, there's this like expectation of like high performance with New Year's resolutions, where it's more like maybe we're in first gear in January, right, maybe it's like we're not in fifth gear yet, you know, and but then even that is a little bit faulty because we don't wanna take till April, may, to get into fifth gear. You know, we don't want that either, but we wanna kind of condense what we experience and we've been obsessed with this 12 year, 12 week year concept and you know, basically that takes four weeks per month times three months to give you 12 weeks in a so-called year, and so all of us experiencing time speeding up. You know, it's like a blink of an eye it's a new year, whoa, you know. So what we're gonna try to do is kind of break the year into these 12 week cycles and so basically three months times four, so we're gonna have four New Year's this year, you know, and this is how we're gonna forex.

Speaker 2:

It's a celebration too.

Speaker 1:

yeah, in theory this is how we're gonna forex everything we do. We're gonna forex meaning do everything four times better. You know I'm gonna be four times stronger this year. I'm gonna be a four times a better husband this year, may, four times a better father this year. I'm gonna improve my business by four times because every three months we're gonna take all areas of our life and just focus on it. And the cool thing is we're gonna have a party, a New Year's Eve party at the end of every third month.

Speaker 1:

You know, and our staff are gonna look forward to it we're gonna take I think it's gonna be super exciting we're gonna take our staff every at the end of every third month on a staff trip.

Speaker 2:

Day trip, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Do like a retreat for them and for us. We're gonna just kind of get the kids involved. It kind of works with the kids, even because their school cycle falls into this kind of way. All the semesters are in these cycles of three months. So it's kind of a cool thing. There's Montessori already kind of knew that, I guess and yeah, there's this major energy in January and if we don't plan, we plan to fail.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And so this 12 week year, you know the question. Like you know, a year from now you'll wish you had started today If I asked you that. You know there's probably a handful of things that you wish you had started, maybe earlier this year. I don't wanna have that at the end of next year. I wanna have each of these little cycles kind of in a little bit more order more I guess that's a really good word for it order and alignment. It goes right back to that so ordering your life in these things, if you can even see that these seasons are changing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and it also alleviates the pressure too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

You know you're less hard on yourself, trying to get to, you know, one point to the next, and then you get the opportunity to begin again, refreshed, with a clearer intention, and also reflect on. You know how things didn't work three months ago. You know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we can do things a lot quicker, you know. So we kind of underestimate what we can do in a year, but then underestimate what we can do in these like little three, three, three month cycles. So we're in the bloom portal. We're gonna be doing mastermind calls and we're gonna kind of try to work with a group together to kind of usher ourselves through this, to be accountable to ourselves, and kind of have these kind of weekly jam sessions about. Okay, here's what we're doing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's one thing that our teacher likes to say, guru Jai. Some of you may know her. She teaches out of Rama TV and she's got an amazing band by the name of white son. Just an incredible woman, she's just so. She's like the epitome of grace, and she says this thing about like you have your practice and then you have your communal practice, and those two are separate from each other, but they're just so important and they're so palpable and they're so you can't put a price to them, because that energy that you generate from your own personal practice, well, just expand your own personal you know level to Attain where you want to get to. And then the communal practice, like these communal masterminds putting yourself in community.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just multiplies it. So I mean, talk about prosperity and 2024. Yes, it's, you know, the, just the year alone, reduces to eight. Eight is Infinity, it's infinite possibilities. It's, you know, the end, if you can, you know, flip eight onto its side. It's that, you know, symbolic infinity sign. But it's just, it's the only number that you can write out where you don't have to lift the pin off the paper, and it's just continual, you know. So you have opportunities to begin again, to begin again and to begin again.

Speaker 1:

So to live in infinity and Three months in three months. Yeah, because that's what it does, because you know you like you get every three months to start Again imagine how powerful be if somebody Be meaning us, somebody, somebody over there, you or us or all of us took on a Kriya or took on a very specific Meditation Kriya. In Kundalini yoga we call it a Kriya Meditation for three months. We've seen profound changes when someone does a Kriya for Consistently for that period of time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean we were I was just, like I mentioned earlier, just leading retreat and we were just on this really beautiful aspect with the planet Jupiter creating a nice aspect with Venus, and we've kind of taken that on and I've shared it on my private teaching account on Instagram called moving into grace, and we're starting this 40-day Hust, kriya Hast, if you want to Google it and you could just jump on board, but it's just taking the index finger, which is the representation of the Jupiter Planet, and you're just bringing earth to heaven. So from earth, you touch the finger to the floor and then you bring your fingers to touch above that crown of the head To heaven. So, and you're just in this kind of really beautiful Kriya, this really beautiful sound current for 22 minutes and that's.

Speaker 1:

Incredible. You know our friend Melissa, she, you gave her Subha Kriya. And this woman, she's a very dedicated ashtangi yoga. She does it every day, for like ever beautiful woman.

Speaker 2:

She's like the manifestation of aphrodite on earth.

Speaker 1:

If you're watching hello.

Speaker 2:

But, she.

Speaker 1:

She took on Subha Kriya and she was barely making it. She was living in Bali. She was just kind of you know teaching a lot. Magical being in that everything always somehow worked for her. But she started doing Subha Kriya consistently non-stop and now she's in very abundant like very abundant. And she lives a life that she really loves right now and it's beautiful to see and she's doing it non-stop still and it's like wow.

Speaker 1:

And she's just radiating and just beautiful yeah you do these kriyas that we're gonna work with you on, if you join us in the bloom portal, which will have more details for her and soon We'll be able to.

Speaker 2:

Support you and like consolidate that and contain that together. I think that's also the what's lacking on the planet is just, you know, this usher ship. You know Not to call it mentorship, but just this usher ship like, yes, let me just usher you into kind of the direction, but also giving you the leverage or the wherewithal that, like it's you within you at the end of the day, because no one's gonna do it for you. So we want to kind of incept that, just ushering you to your destiny.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and so you know, looking at and again we're looking at 2024 as a year and we're talking about altering our relationship to time and to the year itself and dividing it into four parts and saying and to space, to time and space.

Speaker 2:

How are you gonna fill the space you know and being super clear on what you value in your space and and you know, it does feel like time is speeding up Technology.

Speaker 1:

Definitely, the evolution of, say, technology is speeding up so much right now that Even we're coming up with more inventions in a week that that humanity used to come out in years. We're also absorbing more information in a day than maybe we used to have in an entire year. So that's why this time thing is being really Our relationship to it is changing and so let's, let's be proactive and change our relationship with it. You know, we live in Bali and there's this thing called island time. It's a real deal.

Speaker 2:

You're also Indian, so Indian time.

Speaker 1:

Indian time, bali time, island time it's a good time but it's slow, it's slow and it really. Everything happens at its own pace you know, if you think it's gonna take two months, it actually is gonna take four months or six months or maybe even a year.

Speaker 2:

But even sometimes, if you look at the trajectory, like sometimes even taking those three months to just reflect, you know to just do nothing, to be in the empty vessel, in the empty container, so that that Moment of, say, space of silence and I know some of us don't have the luxury to do that but in just little, small increments, you know you can make space for it if you want to. It all depends on your choice and that will reveal, you know, how to fill it, how to fill your three months that are coming up with the intentions, with the mindset, with the body.

Speaker 1:

You know, body set, emotion set what I see coming up a lot for me, and I assume maybe for you or for other people, is I mean again, being an Indian man seek Punjabi dude there. Wow, well, in my culture there's a lot of shame and I also in Mexican culture there's a lot of shaming.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean and so it shows up for me as me shaming myself about, hey, you didn't take your time on certain things, or you didn't utilize your time better, right, and so time, you know, going into this year, where I am and we are going to improve our relationship with time, we want to honor time. We want to. You know, take this what we're learning from Bali. In, you know, it's like everything happens at its own time and it's perfect every time.

Speaker 2:

Somehow it is. Can we just talk about that a little bit? So, again, I'm a cosmology. I just I love astrology. So, now that you're speaking about time, time is Saturn, right it's. It's Kronos it's, and right now it's creating a really beautiful aspect, also with Jupiter. So you know, we're we're expanding our capacity to see how we navigate with time and space and what we value and how we fill it. So, again, this is another opportunity to reflect on what am I doing with my time. You know how long have I been on my phone? You know how long have I been spending time with my children, if you have any? How long have I been spending time actually making love, which I know some couples deviate from that and it's part of our natural nature to do that. You know, it's how we fill up, it's how we clean, it's how we can actually make space for new inspiration and creativity.

Speaker 1:

So just to share on that kind of connection which is prominent right now and so something that we don't really share anywhere in newsletters or blog posts or Instagram is, is how we work with time and how do we create a relationship with time. And one thing we've been doing lately is focusing on and this was almost happened because, by force nature, this is what happens, if, anyways I'll explain this in a second so we're collapsing timelines that no longer serve. So you had this idea, you had this expectation of okay, this year I wanted to do this. Didn't happen in that time and if it didn't, instead of being shameful or having the guilt or having whatever, collapsed that timeline. Understand that time is happening on, it is perfect, you know.

Speaker 1:

And so collapsing timelines that no longer serve, we're going to start doing that during the new moon, right, so new moon is now, and so we're all these expectations of where we should have been or where we could have been this year, this cycle, all of that collapsing that. You know, we just arrived in Bali, like four years ago. Right, there's people here that have been here 20 years and you see them so far ahead and it's like, well, collapse your timeline, right, it's like you are, you, you're perfectly where you're supposed to be, and so that's one thing to definitely do in December, right now.

Speaker 2:

Can you elaborate on what it looks like to collapse time?

Speaker 1:

Well, you have to look at all the expectations that you had of when we're in your. This is all about like developing a relationship with time, right, and so in that, looking at what are all the deadlines, that are where all the goals, and then if they didn't work, instead of kind of letting them just kind of run and maybe like somewhere subconsciously you're, it's like oh, it didn't happen, so I'm not good at this, right.

Speaker 1:

You collapse them. You say, okay, this timeline, I'm moving it to there and I'm going to put it in this quarter or that quarter, you know, and collapse them so that they're not running in your subconscious over and over again. Right, so we want to collapse, like, for example, for us, like our expectation of when we were going to build our new shop. You know we were hoping for it to be ready six months ago. It's not quite ready yet, it's almost ready. And collapsing the timeline you know, over the last two months has really helped me on the day to day of like it's going to happen. When it happens, I'm going to do what I can do today to make it happen fast as possible, but just collapsing our expectations. So, looking, writing down, here's all the expectations I have around time and I'm going to collapse them. And then you create new timelines that match your frequency, that where you want to go right so.

Speaker 1:

I collapse these past timelines. I make note of them all and I make and I notice my relationship to them. So you write them all down, you clear it out, you know and then you create a new. I choose to believe that our home will be designed in the perfect time. I choose to believe that 2024, in the first three months, we'll be able to really gain traction. I choose to believe in 2024, in the first three months, we will really gain traction, specifically in taking care of our bodies and taking care of our kitchen and taking care of our home and getting our kids to school and getting our business in alignment. You know what I mean. And just taking it deeper and deeper. You know there's this quote all my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see it should have been more specific. So when you're planning 2024, go from somebody to specific. So take these three-month sections of the year and just be real specific and maybe don't do as much. Have a weekly plan and in that plan, just this is my goal this week.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to do it because it's going to give me this kind of traction and just kind of work on that in that way. Yeah so we collapse timelines, we create new timelines. We create new expectations for time. I choose to believe that this project will be done even faster than I expected. Now we're creating a positive radiant, so we're radiating out a more positive energy, because most people are frustrated with time, yeah, and relationship, more positive relationship with time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So we need to create a positive relationship with time. We do that by writing down all of the reasons that we're frustrated with time, and then we choose to believe new things about time this or better, this or faster. I choose to believe it's going to happen this or better, or, even better, even faster. So, as entrepreneurs, our job is to constantly be designers, and most businesses, most business owners, end up being doers. We're working in the business, on the business, and I remember when I was in school this showed up a lot. If I didn't have an exam, if I didn't have homework, I wouldn't do anything. I would be day trading in the basement of the school. You know what I mean. If for real, like if there was an exam on Friday, if they put this thing in my environment if you insert something in your environment like a deadline, then all of a sudden your performance changes completely.

Speaker 2:

Right.

Speaker 1:

Right, and so, as entrepreneurs, we need to put these deadlines in. So every Friday, you have a deadline of something For us. We have this now. This is a new energetic container, us developing and working on this podcast together, and it's been very fulfilling. And so that's another part of the.

Speaker 2:

You've been so creative.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so there's two gems there for you. One is collapsing your timelines, creating new timelines. And then number two is creating new energetic containers that fulfill you that are nourishing for you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

You know. So in your week, have something, a new energetic container, like I'm going to go to the beach and go for a walk every morning right after I drop the kids, or whatever you do. I'm going to go to the ravine near my home and go for a walk, or whatever it is Doing, those nourishing things.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and those nourishing things are always kind of in tune and in allyship with nature, you know, because nature she's honest, and she just renews you instantly. If you, you know, let her see you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. So this is all about being super intentional with 2024. When we spoke about alignment and grace right, allowing your direction to go, yogi bear famous Yogi.

Speaker 2:

The OG Yogi.

Speaker 1:

As he said, if you don't know where you're going, you'll end up someplace else, right, and? That's 2024 for you Be real, specific this year you know, and be real specific within your every three months. In three months, this is where we're going to be. It's hard to say in January where I'm going to be in December. It's hard to say in February where I'm going to be in November, but it's a you have a good shot at it from between January and March. I can accomplish this.

Speaker 1:

Yes, you know and also what happens is in January, February, if you don't like perform, if you don't have like, if you're not kind, if you didn't get it going, you still have like 10 more months to go and then all of a sudden, December is Christmas time and November some try something crazy happened and so we lose all this time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and we're also kind of waiting till, like, we get this thing in order and then we get these ducks in order and this duck in order, yes, but, like you know, maybe not 12 ducks, you know maybe three, you know, get like some three ducks in some order, in some alignment, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

We're constantly trying to put order to our lives. This is the. This is nature, you know in nature you see order as a beautiful orchestra, right you have the sunset you have the sunrise, you have the stars at the night. The sacred geometrical, all the shapes, the wind, the weather, how the wind blows, the seeds, and it's just a beautiful orchestra and somewhere along the way we lost connection to like. Actually, we're a part of nature, you know, and there is a divine order if we allow it to flow through. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So one week at a time we're going to have a week weekly plan and on the daily we're going to block time for the most important thing that you're gonna accomplish that day. So 30 minutes, one hour, whatever it takes for you, if there's one big power move that you're gonna accomplish today.

Speaker 1:

what's the most powerful thing I can do today? What's the most loving thing I can do today? What's the most kind thing I can do today? Those are three questions. If you ask yourself that every day, what's the most powerful thing I can do to move the needle in my business, Great, what's the most kind thing I can do to bring light to someone else? For me, I've been just checking in on all my friends. I've been texting all my friends all over, just annoying everybody with like.

Speaker 1:

He's good about that, yes, With emoticons and just checking in.

Speaker 2:

To the point where they all refer to him as Papa Rabindra.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they all call me Papa, but checking in on your friends on the daily, not like on the yearly. Let's bring this in.

Speaker 2:

Which is such so sadly the norm. Yeah, and it's also the idea of out of sight, out of mind, but yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, let's reconnect. Every we all need each other right now. Yeah, so we're blocking time for 30 minute window, for, okay, I'm connecting with friends. It's important, it's so important. I connected with another friend the other day and all of a sudden, he's the key to unlocking a part of a puzzle that I didn't know that I had even.

Speaker 2:

Right.

Speaker 1:

And so staying connected. Nature, does that the be hive the tribe like the?

Speaker 2:

wolf pack.

Speaker 1:

We're somewhere in nature. We just lost it into these individualized families, but we are one human family. We are together in this. We have one earth, one planet.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know if you some of you remember, but one of our biggest I mean not slogan, but mantra was together we bloom, and it still is. It's still a vibatory resonance in our being. Yeah together we bloom and also finding those people and they don't have to be like minded Cause sometimes that could be very boring, but just some kind of inspirational where you can come and consult with and to each other yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So magic of fresh starts. Use them. Full moon, new moon, use it. Four week cycles or 12 week year, try it. Give it a shot. Give it just January to March. End of March. See what happens. It's better than January to December. See what happens at the end of December. You know what I mean. Like at least like you have time to fail in those first three months. You know what I mean. That's the thing. Like I'm learning as I get older, as an entrepreneur, as as a father, I'm just getting better at losing. But at the same time you know you have to experiment and lose. You're not going to always win but you stumble upon wins.

Speaker 2:

You gain so much in loss, gain so much awareness, so much course correcting.

Speaker 1:

you know yeah, when an airplane flies from Dampasar to Thailand or wherever you know, let's, where do we want to go? We want to go to Spain, so we want to fly. Plane flying, okay, yeah, okay, flies from here to Taiwan. There's no straight line, no way. The airplane goes, and then there's wind, there's headwinds, like we're all facing right now.

Speaker 2:

Headwinds like oh my.

Speaker 1:

God, this challenge, that challenge, and then the pilot is making an adjustment.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

An adjustment, an adjustment. The pilot probably makes a thousand adjustments.

Speaker 2:

And they're micro, micro adjustments. It's not like they're big, huge pivots, but just give yourself permission to do these micro adjustments.

Speaker 1:

And that's what we need to pull in Micro adjustments daily. So, instead of reaching for the phone, putting it down writing notes getting your mind out here. You know, the phone and computer are useful things. If you have blocked time for certain things, okay, I'm gonna go to Instagram, make an Instagram post about this specific thing. I've already planned my content. Or I'm gonna use my computer and I'm gonna do this, this, and that you know If we can be more intentional. With our time blocks, we're gonna be so much further ahead in 2024.

Speaker 1:

And ultimately in 2024,. We want it to be a more peaceful year.

Speaker 2:

We want it to be a more grounding year. Yeah, less emotional, more intentional.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and we're doing that by giving first of all, we're giving our children the space that they need, right Like we're putting them in a really good school. We're living really close to the school and that's been like the pillar, and from there we're building everything around it. You know our business, our life, everything.

Speaker 2:

Well, that's always kind of been the forefront. We just let them lead, we just allowed our children to lead. We follow suit.

Speaker 1:

Cool. Anything else you wanna talk about for 2024?

Speaker 2:

I mean, I feel like we've, I feel like it's a lot so.

Speaker 1:

Alignment and grace, yeah. 12-week year.

Speaker 2:

Sit with it, reflect it, revisit this video if you need to, but it's a lot to kind of. It's a big bite that we just took, yeah yeah. And even though it's very subtle, there's some deep teachings in them and lots of revelations in these practices. Lots of solutions come out of these deep revelations and if you give yourself the ability to apply them, it'll just they will work for you.

Speaker 1:

Perfect. Lastly, the next big energetic container that we're creating. It's called the Portal to Bloom. It's gonna be an online membership portal website where we're gonna be sharing. So far, we have three courses already in there. It's Moving into Grace Series One, which is about it's a prenatal program that Myra designed for women who are pregnant.

Speaker 2:

It's basically the beginning of life, you know, and how to kind of carry yourself, and tools that I personally applied in my own pregnancies and in pregnancies here in Bali. So yeah.

Speaker 1:

So it's like a week by week, follow along and do these exercises.

Speaker 1:

It's like a lot of talks and conversations that Myra wished she had when she was pregnant and practices, and then we have a postpartum moving into grace and then we have the Bloom Into Abundance, led by myself and Myra.

Speaker 1:

Myra's gonna be doing the Kundalini Yoga part of it, but basically I took, you know, 20 some years of consulting and brought it together. And then Myra and I was like oh wow, this actually goes really well with Kundalini and we started implementing it in our own lives and we saw an explosive growth in our business, in our lives, and we saw we came to Bali with like less than $2,000. And four years later we're way above and beyond that and we use these tools on ourselves instead of consulting and giving it all out. We just brought it all in and now we're ready to share it again and it's a program that has built billion dollar companies and we're super excited to kind of bring that forward. Then we're gonna have monthly Q and as and talks and we're gonna kind of like set themes. We just wanna kind of give people that ushering, that momentum of here's what we're doing.

Speaker 1:

Let's go. There'll be full moon, human classes in there. It's gonna be a lot of value. It's gonna be jam packed.

Speaker 2:

And just kind of a way for us to kind of give back. It's not like we can keep this and hold on to it doesn't do much right.

Speaker 1:

So share it, pay it forward and we'd love to hear the stories of how it evolved. We're just trying to find new ways to connect. We find like just trying to connect over. Instagram or email. We used to have our festival, but it's just not possible for us to do right now.

Speaker 2:

But also maybe I mean, I'm just on this high from this retreat, which was more of a surprise than anything else. So, yeah, maybe we start to do some physical interactions and then there might be some retreats in 2024, for sure with.

Speaker 1:

Myra, and maybe with myself as well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there'll be one for sure in February, with women, local and, of course, open to those who are, so we'll share about that very soon.

Speaker 1:

Thank you for joining us for the part of the Bloom Podcast. This is episode four.

Speaker 2:

To be continued.

Speaker 1:

To be continued, satnam, thank you.
