0096: When The Government Can Pause An AI Model
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What happens when AI stops being “just an app” and starts feeling like a regulated utility? We dig into the Anthropic situation, where a new model gets pulled back fast, and then we follow the uncomfortable question that comes next: could AI access require you to prove citizenship or upload a driver’s license, passport, or even a Social Security number. We talk through why that kind of identity verification changes the privacy math overnight, and why the public might not notice until the wall is already up.
Then we pivot to a story that’s equal parts disturbing and revealing: a Taco Bell incident tied to a soda versus water-cup dispute, and how that connects to a growing trend of barcode or QR-controlled fountain drink machines. It sounds small, but it’s a real example of how companies respond to loss prevention with technology that can also increase tracking, data collection, and friction for everyone.
We also hit the week’s consumer tech and business headlines, including Snapchat’s smart glasses with a premium price tag, plus a quick check-in on SpaceX and the hype-versus-reality of tech valuations. And yes, we bring the culture too: a useful public speaking tool (WordToTime.org), a Netflix documentary recommendation, and a full-on Knicks celebration that turns into parade planning and big New York sports-story debates.
If you like tech news, AI regulation talk, and real-life examples of how technology changes daily behavior, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave us a review so more people can find the show.

AI Access And Citizenship Checks
SPEAKER_00How do y'all feel that if there's a requirement for you to report if you are a United States citizen or not, just to use AI?
SPEAKER_03That's crazy. Typical government shit.
SPEAKER_00This is this is a typical third quarter shit that you dealt with.
SPEAKER_02Doesn't surprise me one bit.
SPEAKER_00If you think about the battle that they had with Anthropic about, hey, they wanted to use fully autonomous system to use for military use, and Anthropic said, nah, don't do that. If Anthropic didn't say nah, don't do that, this administration would have already had that stuff implemented, right? Yeah. Like that's crazy.
SPEAKER_01These young ladies went to Taco Bell and they got the water cup and they ended up getting soda.
SPEAKER_00Uh huh.
SPEAKER_01The guy behind the counter that worked at Taco Bell took a gun out and shot at them. What? They ran out of the store. This is a true story. This happened two months ago.
Knicks Energy And What’s Ahead
SPEAKER_00Welcome, welcome, welcome. What up, D. Hustle? What's going on, man? How's everything? You got a big smile on your face. The show hasn't even started off yet, and I'm already seeing it, bro.
SPEAKER_04Showing the real love, right, Raymond?
SPEAKER_00He's over there crowned up from corner to corner, smiling. What's going on, Raymond? Don't call him Ready Ready.
SPEAKER_01Chillin' playing? Not as good as this guy here. Yeah, no. I saw you. What was that? A supermarket we were walking with your jersey or what? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Anthony Ridd. Ricky Right. Big and Red. Big and blue. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the next day too. I was at Walmart. I saw a couple people out with their jerseys.
SPEAKER_00If they didn't mention it before the season starts, these like I don't even know what to make.
SPEAKER_01Shout out to the real fans.
SPEAKER_04Me and Spike Lee need to get away.
SPEAKER_00This is gonna be the whole show today. So prepare yourself. If you didn't know, this is the Tech Hustle Podcast. We're at episode number 96. 96. Big shout outs to us as we're on our trek to 100. I am your host, Bobby D, and I got my guy D Hustle.
SPEAKER_04Let's go next.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, already, already. And then my cousin Raymond Donc, Ray Ray, holding it down. Um, and we got a really packed show for y'all today. Um, I I I should just have title this NYX, right?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's it. That's it. I mean, I don't want to talk about anything else but next.
SPEAKER_00So we're gonna get quickly through everything here. Raymond, you okay with that? Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I mean, hey, that'll get us, you know, some engagements.
SPEAKER_00All I know is I'm not giving no Kneeks fan, no heat, no nothing, bro. All smoke. All smoke. They are lit right now, so be prepared. But uh the show's gonna cover uh some tech current events. D's gonna be dropping for us. Some NYX. Uh you're gonna probably mention it a few times. Uh then we got Raven, don't call him Ray Ray with a conversation. Then more Nick Utility sites and movie. And NYX. It's a Nick movie, probably. That's probably it's a Nick's movie and documentary.
SPEAKER_0448 is in the milk.
SPEAKER_00Oh my gosh. And then we got um some tech insights I'm gonna be dropping about some government jumping in and um shutting down some AI stuff, which is crazy. And more next. Um, and then we'll have let's see if you queue up the music for uh the the sports scene, right? And then more next. And we're gonna be dropping more next.
SPEAKER_04So we're gonna do a fourth quarter just like the Knicks.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04And I'm gonna break down every fourth quarter how it was, okay?
SPEAKER_00Yo, I would tell you, every fourth quarter from the game itself was the quarter to watch, bro.
SPEAKER_04That's why I didn't watch too much.
SPEAKER_00That's why you didn't watch too much. Well, big round of falls for the Knicks. Um I think I think 53 years waiting for this moment, um, I seen people really uh come together as a community, as a state city. Y'all, y'all, y'all kind of uh different type of uh come together. Yeah, and right now and let me tell you, if you if you had a Spurs jersey in the city, bro, that was that was a death. That was a death pitch.
SPEAKER_04And I want to get that out the way. Um I I I'm gonna say that is the new Gen Z. Because back in the days when we went and stuff like that, that has never happened for us. So I'm gonna say that's gonna be the new X fans, new error. Yeah. Because I'm not out there hitting anybody. Yeah, that's um I mean if they start. Except for my son. But other than that, I'm driving.
SPEAKER_00Because he was talking some smack, but she was. Oh boy, oh boy.
SPEAKER_01Oh, it's the one thing I don't want to get too deep into it. Let's get into it. Well, the the hitting is one thing. What I don't like is like destroying like uh the property and stuff.
SPEAKER_00Oh come on, man. What's wrong with burning a car or two, bro?
SPEAKER_01They want to change 53 years. I saw tax dollars. Don't worry about it. Okay. Did you see the poor taxi man pleading, don't destroy my car? Ah, okay.
SPEAKER_00Well, I mean, probably it's not his car.
SPEAKER_04Okay, but he said it's coming out of his check. That's that's obviously he can be smart, people can be smart, and see that it's not him doing it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I I would actually say the mayor of New York will cover the payment. Definitely.
SPEAKER_01Stuff like that I don't like. All right, with the fights, whatever, you know.
SPEAKER_00But the the mayor is is is first in line to be like, he'll just write the check to square it away. So um I'm I'm excited to see uh the the parade happen. Um I'm I'm excited for for all Knicks fans. My wife's a Knicks fan too, so she she was uh very much running around the house rooting. Um and now my son, he he's also wearing blue. Oh he said he wants some Tims now. No way. Yeah, he said, yo, let me get the fitted. Um he's he's changing his whole style up, bro. I think the whole country's gonna be changing his whole style up. Uh let me ask you this. How much New York music have you been listening to as of late?
SPEAKER_04Besides I'm from New York?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like everything is freaking New York. Sinatra. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um I think Jairo, we just made Jairo popular again.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, we did. Yeah. And that Jada Kiss joint too be hitting. Um I think they're all really excited.
SPEAKER_04New Fab out. Check them out, people. New Fab.
SPEAKER_00We're dropping gems and and and um tracks and everything, huh? Yeah. This is where y'all tune into it. Uh, but before we jump into the tech current events, I want you to check out this ad real quick. Check this ad out.

SPEAKER_00Now we're back
Snapchat Smart Glasses Price Reality
SPEAKER_00from the ad. Now we got my guy D Hustle coming up with uh tech tech current events. Tech current events. Looks like you got a few plugs here. Got a few plugs. You want to give it, you wanna give us a switch switchboard? Like trigger trigger, like there, there, there we go. There we go. Now we're officially.
SPEAKER_04All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the tech hustle, ladies and gentlemen, where I go ahead and speak all about nothing but lovely tech news. But before I get into our special bulletin, let's go New York next 220 26th NBA champion of the United States of the world, Jalen Bronson, MVP, ladies and gentlemen. Let's get down to business.
SPEAKER_00Uh and look at what he's talking about. Some glasses. The commercials are all gonna start off like that.
SPEAKER_04So we're gonna start off finally after the talk. I talked about this a couple months back. Uh, but finally, Snapchat had started. Their Snapchat glasses is finally gonna be out. Um, pre-orders right now, June 16th, with a $200 refundable deposit. Now it's $2,195. It's not as much as the provision from Apple, just a little bit, but that's a lot of mullah for some glasses. Uh so people just like, yo, what's what's what's so what's so impressive about it? Well, this is what they said. It says specs are usually fairly normal for these beautiful glasses. Um they are slightly bulkier, that's red flag number one for me. Uh Google like peer, and extra bulk comes with a key design choice, like some competitors, but computing places or actual devices, which is conveniently lacks a puck or a tether. The spectrums two, not one, two snap dragon processors. Wow. Okay, which comes up to four hours continuous battery life with charging with extended 28 total hours. All right. Not least, it also has AI. Okay, you have two models the 47mm and then the 52mm. Right? It has uh specs follows meta leads with built-in LED lights that glows while the device is recording. Okay. The company says that this basically will control the data storage and sync or delete. Um I I don't even want to continue more because uh it's just not giving me what I'm looking for for 20. It's not giving me the ooh.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right. Right? I mean, we remember when did we go to um we went to a conference, we went to Nesby. Was it Nesby? Two years ago.
SPEAKER_04I think it's the same classes, right? I think what what we did was they were looking for critics. They were looking to say, what do you think about it? Now I love how we got next to each other, we was able to link and sync up. Yeah, yeah. Um, but it's very bulky. I it's it's like a Vision Pro, but really sleek.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04You can say.
SPEAKER_00But I don't I don't know about the price tag, and and like you said, it nothing's jumping out to me like I want to go run and buy it though.
SPEAKER_04Definitely not gonna be me. I'm not really gonna go buy it. So I'm gonna go.
SPEAKER_00Send me a refurbish one and I'll give you a good review.
SPEAKER_04Now, what I would go buy is some next classic ladies and gentlemen to get that done business real quick. So if this has some next logo on it, it's gonna be jumped on it. It's already bought. It'll probably been sold out. Wow. Uh to tell you the truth. But yeah, that's all I got for that situation. Um, and second of all, the next thing I just gotta give a nice little shout out, uh, ladies and gentlemen, to the one and only uh Jalen Brunson, uh being MVP, ladies and gentlemen, for here. No, I'm just joking. So I was waiting for the tech news. That's what I'm giving. Tech lesson. Let me give a shout out to your guy, Elon Musk, for finally being the two trillion dollar man. Yeah, all right. Yeah, two trillion space X Marks caps two trillion after Elon Musk shares, Rock's company gained at least 19% on their day bill. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um stock right now is $160.95 a share if you're trying to get down to it. Um it's a season high, a trace at $176.52. Big success launches, no doubt about it. That's what people are saying. Chief Market Strategy, letting you know that the plug demand is there. Good things they're saying. Good things will happen, but we will have to wait and see on the open price. I I don't know, man. Uh it's good for the shareholders, but I gotta see what's going on with Elon Musk.
SPEAKER_00Facts, facts. I think I think you just aligned very well uh uh with with me. I mean, at the end of the day, it's a big feat of getting SpaceX on the public market um and getting AI and then being the first one. And you remember when we were talking about a few weeks ago why he was suing um OpenAI and Sam Off? This is the reason why, to slow them down so he can go first, right? Now that he went first, uh he's already hit the two trillion dollar mark, so he's kind of gotten what he wanted out of it. My biggest thing is yeah, I gotta wait until they actually show some numbers and see how the the stock is performing rather than just all the hype around it. Um but yeah, man, at the end of the day, congratulations to him. Um he's on a different trajectory than all of us. Um but hey, um keep an eye out for it for sure.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then that note uh Spur wins the first quarter. Now we're jumping to the second quarter.
Taco Bell Shooting Sparks Debate
SPEAKER_00Second quarter. D uh D, thank you so much for the tech insights. And the commentation today is fire, bro. Right? We got my guy Raymond, don't call him Ray, Ray. What up? What's going on, players?
SPEAKER_01What's going on, gentlemen? All right, so yeah, I was debating on a couple of topics here. This one here, I was running at by Mr. Bobby D here. I'm gonna drop it in the chat. It's a little quick video that I dropped in for you guys. If you guys want to take a look at this video, and while you're doing that, or maybe before we do that, do you guys remember there was a story that happened here in our backyard in West Palm Beach? It happened about two months ago where a couple of young ladies went to Taco Bell and they got a drink. They got a soda drink. You know, like when you go to the restaurant, I know Bobby's notorious for this, where they give you the water cup, and then some people will get soda. I just get water, I don't go against soda. What do you mean I'm notorious for that? So I'm just saying, you know, Bobby's notorious for this. This happened about two months ago in our backyard. I don't know if you guys heard the story where these young ladies went to Taco Bell and they got the water cup and they ended up getting soda.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01The guy behind the counter that worked at Taco Bell took a gun out and shot at them. What? They ran out of the store. This is a true story. This happened two months ago. Ran out, they ran out of the store. He chased them and shot them because they took soda instead of water.
SPEAKER_00That is wild.
SPEAKER_01This happened three months ago. Look it up. Taco Bell? At Taco Bell. What's Taco Bell was the thing? With Taco Bell, right here in our backyard in West Palm Beach, stay away from if you go to well, they arrested him, but you should never get soda if they give you the water cooler.
SPEAKER_00Well, hold on, hold on. You should never shoot at somebody for a soda. That's true to the movie.
SPEAKER_01You know, that's true, but that is true, correct, Bobby. You should never shoot at someone, but you shouldn't be, you know, so so let's make some clarity on the records first.
SPEAKER_00Yes. I'm not notorious for getting water to go get soda.
SPEAKER_01Okay, my apologies.
SPEAKER_00I guess I'm definitely notorious for getting water rather than soda. Okay, my bad.
SPEAKER_01That was someone else then. My bad. Maybe that was my brother. I do shit like that. You do that to hustle. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I mean, yeah, it depends on the day. If I'm looking for some soda, I got a cup of water. Not I get some soda. That's technically stealing, isn't it? No. At the end of the day, it's at your leisure. You're going there to get water. They're thinking you're gonna get water. You gotta get hydrated, bro. Okay. Get some soda. I mean, you I'm assuming you don't do it because you follow the rules.
SPEAKER_00I mean, they give you a water cup, I'm getting water. But sometimes the cup, you can't really tell the difference if it's a soda or water cup. I mean, they give you a clear cup so they can see that you're clearly actually today they gave me a clear cup. But actually, the today they actually got the water and put it in the cup and then gave me the cup with water rather than have me go to the machine. Because I don't go and get soda, I really don't. I actually stay away from soda, so I prefer water.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Uh but um I don't think it warrants somebody to get shot at though.
SPEAKER_01I agree with you, but you should not be taking soda though. But yeah, they arrested this gentleman.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. So so what if uh I'll give you another reason something that I do. Sometime I go to let's say Chipotle or something like that, and I grab a few extra napkins. Should I get shot out for that? No, you should not. I went and got actually some extra hot sauce packets. Like I should get shot out for that. You should not. But for some soda?
SPEAKER_01Okay, then like I I agree with you, but you should not be, you're technically stealing. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04So I gotta put I gotta I gotta put Raymond on the spot. So when you go to any restaurant, yes, let's say what what burger restaurant do you go to? Just out of curiosity. Uh I love five guys. Okay, I I believe you.
SPEAKER_00You set yourself up.
SPEAKER_04So when you go and get five guys, you go there, you get, I'm assuming you get a burger and with some fries, I'm assuming, correct? Yes. Okay. How many catch up packets do you get? Because it's one per customer.
SPEAKER_01Well, at five guys, you gotta pump it into the little thing. So you pumping stuff with five guys, bro? But there is one per customer. What? Do you I mean do you get two? Well, you know, I get one for the fries, I get one for the burger.
SPEAKER_04It's one per customer. Okay, all right. So why do you get more than one? Yeah. Do you think you should be shot at? Yeah, I think so. No. Okay. That's wild. Okay. Because technically the rules is it's one per customer. One ketchup pack per customer. Okay, perfect example. I'm making a great example. I go to Chick-fil-A a lot. Yes. Chick-fil-A only gives you one Polynesian sauce. You have to ask for more. Yeah. Standard procedure for them is one sauce per meal. Now, back in the day, I don't know back in the days, in some locations, they charge you extra four pack. You guys never knew that, right? No, I know that. No.
SPEAKER_00So if you get more than four packs, they charge you extra? They charge you. Wow. I need to stop ordering that uh stuff.
SPEAKER_04They will charge you like 25 cents for like a uh a barbecue sauce or or it's it's weird out there because there's some places that charges you and some places don't even charge you at all. Like the one over here, you can get as much pond legion sauce as you want. But the place that I went to and like, well, we're gonna have to charge you actually, oh interesting. Now yeah, I can keep that. I don't need that, I don't need actually it ain't that serious. Yeah, yeah. Or a package. So it depends on where you go. Okay.
SPEAKER_01I mean, but if you go to this Taco Bell, you guys have to realize these drinks, what these companies make off of, what they charge you for these drinks, is a killing.
SPEAKER_00They're making a killing.
SPEAKER_01That's what I'm saying. So you're technically that's why they give you the water cup because they make so much off of these drinks, bro. Like, you go to Starbucks now, freaking coffee or whatever, it's like almost seven bucks. Five dollars. I went to McDonald's the other day, I got a I got a milkshake. It was like almost five bucks. Like a small milkshake.
SPEAKER_04I don't know the price there, but I'm at Starbucks all the time. You're looking at almost $4.85 for Grande Ice Latte with some extra almond milk on it. Whose order is that? That's mine. That's yours. That's my order. Ah, okay, okay. A venti ice, uh-huh, coffee with extra almond milk. No ice. My wife gets a grande ice latte, one roll sugar, you're looking at $4.95. Mine's $4.85 for 10 cents more. I don't know what it is for, but it's expensive. I'm paying almost $11 for two drinks. And if you get food, it's $22.
SPEAKER_00If y'all want to send De Hustle a Starbucks coffee, buy buy him a Starbucks cup of coffee. Send, send it here to the tech hustle. We'll definitely get them squared away. Yeah. But that that's crazy. $11? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's a big business. Like, look what they're doing with the refreshers now. McDonald's is doing refreshers.
SPEAKER_00Didn't you wasn't you telling me that now they're going to start doing like some barcoding
Barcode Cups And Soda Surveillance
SPEAKER_00thing?
SPEAKER_01Check out the video that I just put you. I want you guys to watch a few seconds of it or whatever.
SPEAKER_00So let's see. Uh uh D, turn up the volume with the one in the blue. Yeah, that one right there. Let's see if it comes through. I'm gonna watch it as well.
SPEAKER_06So this is just a standard fountain drink, it's not a refillable cup. You can see if I come up to the fountain and do that, it does nothing. Instead, I have to scan. Let's see. Well, there it goes, finally. You have 16 seconds, so then you can give us if you want ice and get your drink. And what you can also see there is it shows how much you've used and your remaining balance. So it's a few minutes later, and I need a bit of a refill. Let's see how that works. So I'm gonna scan my cup again.
SPEAKER_00Basically, you scan the barcode because the the the machine doesn't work until you actually scan the barcode. And then once the barcode is scanned, then you can select it, and then you get just the amount that's your cup size is.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Wow. So people like you have ruined it by getting the water cup, going in and getting soda all the time. So now they are implementing this. So and the guy and the young ladies at Taco Bell a few months ago with the guy shooting at them. That that was a little much. Because of this, uh stores are now implementing this, and I wanted to talk to you guys about it. Are they doing too much or what? Well, I I will say this.
SPEAKER_00Um, have you have you been on a cruise? I've never been on a cruise. Okay. You've obviously he's a cruiser before. He's a king cruise. You you've seen that cruise ships has the same thing too. Like, if you get a on a cruise ship, like you have to have a special like drink cup to actually get soda from the vending machine.
SPEAKER_04So, yes. So for the vending machines, you have to get this uh the souvenir cups uh that comes already uh prepaid for your drink package, and then from there, once it goes, you can go ahead and go with that. But there's a lot of ways around it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Do tell. Okay. I mean, you put one cup, the other cup, and then you you same thing. Or I've actually seen people destroy that souvenir cup and take the little uh whatever the chip is and then put it on a bigger cup or share it with other people. So there are ways around it, but man, they putting this now at the the the regular restaurants.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so this was McDonald's. I don't know if you saw the beginning of the video where the gentleman came in with a bunch of empty bottles and just filling them up. Yeah, yeah. So I mean the guy came in with like four empty soda bottles and he's at McDonald's uh filling them up at the machine.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, at this at this point, you're you're being your old Dean right now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um you're not like me just getting a cup of water.
SPEAKER_04Of water there, but this guy looks like on the video, like he's bringing his own Coca-Cola Pepsi and then filling it up. Yeah. As with it.
SPEAKER_00That's a little bit more obvious.
SPEAKER_04That's like we'd be beating up the Spurs when they dropped the jersey.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he's waiting for the next connection.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So you guys don't have a problem with this, it seems.
SPEAKER_00I I don't get soda like that anyway, so it don't matter to me.
SPEAKER_04At the end of the day, it's uh there's a way around it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay. What do you say to the people that say, hey, that soda only costs McDonald's three cents, and they're charging you two dollars a cup for it. They're saying McDonald's is not losing money.
SPEAKER_00So McDonald's is not losing money. When they go look at their books, they're looking like they're losing money. But technically they're not losing money. So let's say I used to buy five of these uh soda things, whatever that liquid is. Yes, because the syrup, right? And it's keep running out. And now I put this new thing, now I only got to buy two.
SPEAKER_04So from a guy who usually used to work at McDonald's, let me show you how it works. So what happens is they come in these little containers, these little um what's what's those propanes, like almost like a propane tank.
SPEAKER_00Oh, like a propane tank? Like a propane tank.
SPEAKER_04And what happens is they're they're big humongous propane tank, and they all fit right under that beautiful uh uh the dispenser thing. The dispenser thing. Or you go it goes under, or they have a spot that it goes here and it had this long humongous um tube or whatever the case may be, and it goes all the way back. So and then once you press on it, that's why you hear the tssst. Yeah, yeah. You know, so they're trying to get over there and they gotta make sure. So once it's already done, um that's why you know that when you're putting in and you see no more syrup, that's you know it's done, then you gotta refill it again. Nine times out of ten, even if you don't how you call it, even if you don't put your cup in there or whatever they stay doing, they put the cup in there and they some some stores, I've seen it when I'm in the drive too. They put the cup there, the water, the soda is running and it's overfilling.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_04Right? So they're losing money regardless, right? They're overfilling, and then next thing you know, here's the here's the fun part. They get the cup, it's overfilled, they're pouring. Pouring out some out, yeah, yeah, yeah. Regardless, and then they put the cap on. They're losing money regardless.
SPEAKER_00So why are they tripping and shooting the city?
SPEAKER_01Bobby D taking here and there. Hold on, hold on, but should not like be helped. That shouldn't they should not be putting the QR code. I see what you're saying, though.
SPEAKER_04I have a reputation to appeal here, and he's looking out of the bats.
SPEAKER_00Every time I go with them and I ask for water, I'm gonna get this dirty look from the cooker.
SPEAKER_04All right. That's that guy. That's Darwin. He must be with Bobby D in the corner over there. Okay. That is funny. That is funny. Oh, yeah. Oh man.
SPEAKER_00All right, my guy. Well, thank you for introducing some new validation technology that all the restaurants are gonna have, which are barcodes on your cup for it to dispense. And be careful in these streets because he ain't trying to get shot up just for getting some water. I'm gonna look that up. I'll talk about it. Yeah, look it up.
SPEAKER_01That's great. Three months ago, yeah. It was it made national news. So all right, my guy.
SPEAKER_00So, what else you got on your list, Play?
SPEAKER_01All right, so I got another utility here I'm gonna drop in
Word To Time Speech Calculator
SPEAKER_01here. I think uh this would be very useful for you, Bobby D. Wow, everything is useful for me. You know what? I think it would be useful for Darwin too, or anybody or D Hustle. But for example, it's called wordtottime.org. Word2Time.org. Check it out. So what it is is it's a pretty cool site. So, for example, what it does is let's just say, let's use d Hustle for an example. That let's just say your brother was gonna get married hypothetically, and he's like, hey, I'm getting married, bro. I want you to be my best man. Don't do it. Uh I want you to give a speech. And you could come into this website and you can go ahead and type in your speech. You could put the word in, and then it has these little settings in here. You could put, am I gonna read out loud? Am I gonna read in silence? For example, I have a speech that I wrote in Toastmasters, so I'm gonna copy it and I'm gonna put it in here, and I'm gonna put, I'm gonna read out loud. It's standard speech, five to seven minutes. I'm gonna paste it in, and then what you're gonna do is you're gonna calculate it and it's gonna tell you how long it will take you to read this wording. Uh whether it's a speech or whatever, it'll be like, hey, are you a fast reader? And it tells you, hey, this will take you about five and a half minutes. If you're a fast, a silent reader, etc., it tells you about how long it will take you to read this. So I thought it was pretty cool. It could be useful for anybody, for you, Bobby D being an aspiring public speaker. Aspiring, I'm already, bro. I'm global with it, bro. Or D hustle who wants to give a speech for a future wedding or anything like that. I think it was just like a neat site. Whatever your wording is, you put it in there and you pick the setting. If you're a fast reader, slow reader, and it tells you about how long it will take you to read the verbiage. All right. So it's called word to time.org.
SPEAKER_00I thought it was called Word to Time. I yeah, I'm I I actually don't really write down a lot of my speeches, um, but I have like um bullet points and things like that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, which is always difficult for me to mark exactly the timing. So I'd be doing the speech over and over and over and over trying to get the time right. Um, but I could basically take my audio recording and drop that in here, and then it'll tell me, you know, what what what type of uh timing I'm getting for it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you can use it for like any transcripts of like our YouTube videos. You can pick your section, you could put it in here, and it will like tell you how long it, you know, took you to speak and everything like that. Yeah, it's a pretty neat site.
SPEAKER_00For creatives, academics, and production teams. Yes, that's right up your ad. Word to time calculator. I'm sorry. Interesting. This is actually look real cool, man.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, anybody could use it, not just aspiring speakers, you know, regular people, anything.
SPEAKER_00They even have a chart here on average. Let's say that you have a thousand words, they say that's about a four-minute clip. And if you have two thousand words or two thousand five hundred words, then that's about ten minutes. Um, I mean, I'm not a very fast reader, so I I would have to like gauge it to take a look at it. I usually go a little bit slower.
SPEAKER_04It was in 45th Street. 45th? It was on 45th Street. Okay, 45th. West Palm. Makes a lot of sense. Okay, that does make sense, yes.
SPEAKER_00That is uh, you know, not the woman.
SPEAKER_04And he punched the two punched her two. $75,000 bond. Wow.
SPEAKER_01Okay, wow. So dope. Welcome to West Palm Beach, 45th. I commend you guys do not take soda when you're that the wrong 45th. No, that's not. That's West Palm. That's West Palm okay. Yeah, but that is not the best of neighborhoods, depending on where you it's yeah, it's 45th, like the hustle said. But yes, please, please, audience and Bobby D, stop getting soda. Come on, bro.
SPEAKER_00I'm just saying, like it's like I'm the biggest offender here. Bring your own drink, bring your own drink. Bobby, just stop bringing your empty bottles and filling them up at McDonald's. I don't remember the last time I went to McDonald's. That's wild. All right, my guy, thank you so much for this utility indeed. Continuing the investigation, coming back. Uh, big shout outs to 45th. Uh, yeah, be careful out there for sure, man.
SPEAKER_01All right, and then the last one here, guys.
Netflix Docs And Movie Plans
SPEAKER_01I've been like on a non-stop a documentary bench. I don't know when it was the last time I watched a movie outside of Mortal Kombat. I've just been watching documentaries like every day, all day. And I stumbled upon another one on Netflix, which I'm sure your wife, your lovely wife, has watched this, Bobby D.
SPEAKER_00It probably queued up for it. Is it you or is it your lady that watched this?
SPEAKER_01No, I watched this. Not my nah, like she hates documentaries. So, like, I've been I watch this. I know it seems crazy. Like, why would a man watch this? But look, I've been on a documentary thing, and this is good, guys. It's called maternal instinct, and there's a special place in hell for people who do bad things. Wow, this is one of those where I don't want to give it away, but very disturbing. I don't know if you've seen a dehustle. No, the wife was watching this. Oh, your wife was watching this? Okay, so yeah, see your wife has good taste.
SPEAKER_04Leslie has good taste. See what the button look like Leslie. She loves all that shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so why did you watch it with the lovely wife?
SPEAKER_04I kind of want to know.
SPEAKER_00The next is one. What about the Leslie?
SPEAKER_01Husband didn't think otherwise, but yeah, maternal instinct, very good. Uh-huh. So yeah, I recommend it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's uh people are stupid.
SPEAKER_01So try to watch that shit. Yeah, exactly. So Bobby D, mention it to your wife. I'm gonna check it out with Steve's on her game. Yeah, man. There's a special place in hell for people who do some stuff, man. This it's this is crazy, man.
SPEAKER_00It's you you've been on documentary benches lately, bro.
SPEAKER_01I've been bro, I've been like watching 10 the last two weeks. Like, I don't want to watch nothing else but a good doc. Not all of them have been good. I'm only recommending the good ones, but yeah, this one, yeah, man. Just check it out. Maternal Instinct is on Netflix. So that's what's up, man. All right, and don't ask me for my code if you don't got Netflix.
SPEAKER_00Actually, everybody's code. I mean, didn't they put that up so it blocks everybody now? Or like if you're not in the same house code?
SPEAKER_01I'm breaking down on that.
SPEAKER_00I mean, you come and holl at uh my VPN, I got you.
SPEAKER_04And in that case, uh, the next takes uh second quarter, ladies and gentlemen.
SPEAKER_00And the commentation continues. Uh there's this movie that I wanted to go see this weekend. I could not convince them to go, and I'm trying to get its name. Odyssey? No, it's an alien one. Oh, disclosure day. Disclosure day. They didn't want to go see that? They didn't want to go see it, bro. Who didn't? Uh the wifey of my son.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. I want to see that. Yeah, me too.
SPEAKER_00Did you hear about that movie? Disclosure? Yeah, it's still with Speedbird. Uh low-key, I heard some mixed reviews on it. I did too, but I still want to see it. I still want to go see it. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I couldn't get him out of the house on Sunday to go do it. That sucks. You should have called me. Yeah, next time I'm just gonna give you a call, bro. Shame. Freaking pee.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Raymond likes to go watch movies without his kids. I love going to the movies. Without his kids, right?
SPEAKER_00And then go back and tell them that they watched it. Which is crazy. That's fighting words. Yeah. All right, Raymond. Thank you so much for some um Raymond's nuggets, um, some really good insights, really cool website. Yes, um, and definitely uh be careful over there on 45th and um getting water. If you're getting water, just get water like I do. Um don't won't be messing around trying to slide with some soda on the side. But anyways, uh we're jumping right into tech insight. Cue up my music player. Let's see what we got. Oh, wrong one. There we go.
Anthropic Shutdown And AI Regulation
SPEAKER_00All right, fellas. Uh, as always, uh you y'all know during tech insights, I always like to be dropping some gems, some insights into uh what's going on in the world of tech. Uh it's been one of those crazy weeks out here, especially around AI. Um, if you're not familiar with this segment, this is where I talk about technology, engineering, and something more specifically to AI, which I've been talking about for the past year or so. Um and my laptop just made something that went crazy. So I did drop the link in there. Did y'all see the link drop in the Discord? Yes. All right, so uh the the story for uh this insight segment here is around um anthropics. Uh, if you're not familiar with anthropic, they are one of the really popping labs that are out there, AI labs, and you may have heard something called Claude. So if you heard Claude Code, Claude Work, or just Claude in general, this is the company that makes Claude. Um, and their company is called Anthropic. Uh, they're also lining up for an IPO, so keep an eye on them too. Um, and we have reported on how Anthropic has taken the lead on um open AI around you know utilizing uh LLMs in general. Um, and the conversation comes to mind today around um the US government getting involved and shutting down their latest version of the model. Um, y'all remember a few months ago or a few episodes ago, I reported by Matos. Yeah, y'all remember talking about Matos that Anthropic had you know created this uh AI that they were like, yo, we we can't even tell people about it because it has capabilities of doing some crazy stuff. So they eventually actually released that version to us to the public. But within five days, no more than about a week, the US government said, Y'all need to shut that down. Um, my question to y'all is how do y'all feel about the government being able to tell, you know, tech companies that they can't, you know, ship products or they can't release stuff. Y'all have any opinion about that?
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah, I didn't even know about this until UND Hustle mentioned it today. So I I remember a couple months ago about the Mitos, but this is crazy that they just shut this down. So yeah, that just seems yeah, no, it seems crazy that they can do that.
SPEAKER_04Typical America bullshit, man. Uh hey, always want to shut something down, they're trying to take control at the end of the day. Uh if it doesn't fall into the hand, or if they're not trying to, if they're not getting a cut out of it, shutting it down.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. This is actually the same company that I believe one of y'all had reported in your um either current events or Raymond's Nuggets that uh the US government had labeled this company like a a like they can't do any deals with them, like the the Department of War can't do anything with them because they they got on this, you know, um cannot be a vendor list. This is the same company that they are basically slapping their hand. So my question is, and Dee, I think you're leading on it, is do you think the US government is overreaching and doing more than what they're capable of? Definitely. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but if the money's not coming in for them, or if there any anything that they can go ahead and use is it they don't want it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I don't know if you remember, like they had a deal with the government earlier where they wanted um the AI to be able to control their weapons. Exactly. And Anthropic said no, you need to have a human get involved. And when the government said no, they cut the deal off with them, and then Trump's been bashing them ever since.
SPEAKER_00And now they have another way of just putting another stamp on it. Like uh one of the articles that I read was like Anthropic isn't willing to bend a knee like everybody else, right? Um, and we should we we as in consumers, but also uh them as a company should expect the United States to continue to have that same type of energy because you know they want all the smoke. They want to be able to say, and and the report is actually kind of crazy. They actually said, Hey, uh, we don't want foreign people utilizing this app, even if they work at Anthropics or anybody in the United States. So if you didn't notice, when we use these AIs, they don't know if we're in the United States or not, right? I mean, they kind of know we we're in the United States, but they don't know if it's in a United States citizen that's using it or not. So Anthropics says since we can't differentiate any of them, we have to shut everybody else down. But the thing that I also feel like is coming up is how do y'all feel that if there's a requirement for you to report if you are a United States citizen or not, just to use AI.
SPEAKER_03That's crazy.
SPEAKER_00So let's say you go to the login page, you say, Oh, I got a Gmail account, and then a box comes up and says, Hey, you need to verify if who you are, and it says, Hey, you need to upload, you need to give us your social security number, and you need to upload a driver's license or passport image before you can use it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's a bit much.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. How about you, D? How do you feel about it?
SPEAKER_03Typical government shit.
SPEAKER_02This is this is a typical third quarter shit that you dealt with. Doesn't surprise me one bit.
SPEAKER_01But not from what I've heard though, they're kind of doing this now. Like I've heard this. I haven't like done this myself, but like if you check out some certain sites here in Florida. What kind of sites are you talking about? You know, like some sites in Florida. Like if you go right now, it will come up asking for a box or something for you to verify your age. So like you can't launch certain sites here in Florida. It will ask you to prove your age. So they're kind of doing that now. Interesting.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Did you prove your age to those sites? This is not me. This is from people that this is people that I've heard done this. I haven't tried this out myself, but these are people that I've heard that are trying to do that. We haven't run into that wall, but no. That's funny. But yeah, they're kind of doing this now. But what do you guys think about that? I mean, I mean, I I don't know. Do you have an issue with that? Because that's safeguarding the kids. Because I think that's a good thing. Like if your son can't go into these certain sites here in Florida, you gotta prove your age. I think that's a good thing.
SPEAKER_00Uh, there's two sides to it, bro. What do you mean? Now now you're policing the internet, man.
SPEAKER_01But you don't want some kid launching that site and looking at this stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yes, but I think there's other controls that can be enabled rather than blocking it for everybody.
SPEAKER_01How are you gonna block it? It's the I mean, how are you gonna prove your age?
SPEAKER_00You have to put your ID in. The kid can't fake it. How do you know what you have to do to get by those walls? This is what I've heard.
SPEAKER_01This is what I've heard from people trying it. So not experienced by me. This is what I've heard.
SPEAKER_00Not experienced by you. No. I mean, because you probably your VPN has you coming from somewhere else anyway, so yeah, it doesn't even look like you're in Florida, which we're not trying to, you know, promote um notorious acts and affairs.
SPEAKER_01Tech also does not promote anything. We find follow the guidelines here. Yes, but if you need to, please contact Raymond on the loan.
SPEAKER_00Mr. VPN, he he knows he knows how to get around it. But I I don't know, I don't know how I feel about this. Um I I mean I got two different sides to it. One is I do understand the need to have parental control, um, especially for those sites. Yes, you don't want to expose the youth to that too early. Um, but also I don't think it should be known like, hey, um my email address went to this site. That's the part that I'm not like now. They have more data about who I am and what site I'm actually going to, um, and then they could use that against me in some form or fashion, or the the algorithm is actually gonna use it against me. Um the other thing here is is that now that we have this thing where AI companies might actually implement the same thing is is that um I don't like the fact that we're not being uh autonomous on utilizing these in um applications because now they tie the data even closer to who I am. And what I mean by that is you know how when they say hey um the algorithm knows who you are, the algorithm actually only knows what your email is. The algorithm doesn't know who I am as an individual, it only knows who my email is. Or I say, hey, I'm this age, like you you have to unrestrict those things and data. But now what they're saying is not only do I know who you are, but I know your social security number, I know your driver's license or your passport number. That that's a little much for me. Just to access uh uh a free and openly accessible LLM that's supposed to change the world and give us access to the next. Nah, I don't think I don't know about that regulation. Okay, I'm not feeling it.
SPEAKER_01Was it free to everyone or was it just for the paid people? What's that the uh the model that they took off?
SPEAKER_00Um I think I mean I think all of them gives at least a little bit of test for the um new newer models. Even with ChatGPT, you probably can use the latest version and then eventually it switches out. Okay. Anthropics probably does the same thing too, just to test it out, right? Um but I I just don't I I I don't know. I I I also don't know what the government's gonna be doing with this stuff. Like there there's there's there's like um some concerns that I have. Um I I'm not trying to, you know, impose any political advice, but I don't know if the ones that are in office right now are the right ones to lead this type of effort right now. Um because if you think about the battle that they had with Anthropic about hey, they wanted to use a fully autonomous system to use for military use, and Anthropic said, nah, don't do that. If Anthropic didn't say no, don't do that, this administrator would administration would have already had that stuff implemented, right? Yeah, like that's crazy.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I'm surprised. No one's like blowing up talking about this as much.
SPEAKER_00Oh, they they're definitely in in the AI circles. AI circles, but yeah. For the public, public don't really care as much. Yeah. Um, they're just using it to reply back to emails, I guess. Basically, yeah. Okay. All right. That is wild. But I guess the the real notion here or the real you know TLDR is uh keep your ears on these streets, keep you know, being mindful of what's going on and what you know regulations are coming into play so that you can you know get off some of these platforms if they don't align, or you know, uh really just be informed on on the changes that the government's introducing. Um but other than that, that's all that I got for the tech insights. As always, I appreciate the conversation, everybody. Um, and before we jump into our next segment, check out this ad real quick.
SPEAKER_04Hey, this is D Hustle from the Tech Hustle Podcast. Have you heard about Arrow? Most people roughly what they earn, but not exactly where it all goes. SPEAKER_04And after Bobby's introductions of Anthropics, uh the Spurs took game quarter third quarter. He took third quarter? He took third quarter.
SPEAKER_00The Spurs are showing play by play.
Sports Roundup And Knicks Parade Talk
SPEAKER_04Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Look at how look how big it is. Welcome to Tech Hustle Sports Center here, where I go into the fourth quarter and break down. The good the ugly.
SPEAKER_00My guy.
SPEAKER_04Let's get down to business, ladies and gentlemen. First of all, let's go down to NHL. NHL has finally finished, ladies and gentlemen. And I want to give a bad womp bomb to the Las Vegas Knights. They basically hurt my feelings. They lost to Carolina 4-2 in the series. Shout out to Carolina winning the series. Yeah. Man, I thought they were going to win it this week. I thought so too. I was rooting for them from a long, long, long time, but I guess they couldn't bite the bullets. At the end of the day, it is what it is. Everybody's a cancelling. Everybody can be a Nick at the end of the day. Unfortunately, I feel bad for you, Castle. So next one. Boxing. Boxing is next, ladies and gentlemen. Mayweather. We have some issues with Mayweather. They're facing charges for passing a bad check. I guess the money team is not the money team anymore. The money is looking a little one of those Corneg's freaking cars that you have or one of those houses or get rid of the jet that you have so you can have a good check. That's not looking good for you, champ. You gotta read this shit.
SPEAKER_00You got to. You gotta read this shit. Let me ask a question real quick. If you write a check that bounces, is that still the same? Or are you writing a check that you know is bad?
SPEAKER_04That you know is bad.
SPEAKER_00You know it's bad. Not that it bounced.
SPEAKER_04First of all, number one, let me get this out the way. Champ, if you flash your money every time I fucking see you, why are you writing a check? Facts. Fact number one.
SPEAKER_00You can count it out right there.
SPEAKER_04Number two, you have people around your money team. Why are they not paying for your shit? Number three, if you need somebody to freaking figure out your money and expenses, holler at your boy.
SPEAKER_00Applying for a job right here.
SPEAKER_04Holl at your boy, I can definitely manage the money. There's no such thing. Check shouldn't be coming out of your mouth. Check shouldn't be coming out of your pocket. Checks shouldn't even be mentioned anywhere in your organization. Especially when you're out there flossing these stacks of paper by your ears saying you have no money problems. Obviously, you have some money problems. You know who also has money problems? The Spurs. You know? Because they ain't checking. They ain't get it. They ain't get it. Other than that, that's all I got, ladies and gentlemen, for boxing. I mean, I can go on uh because uh my man Bam Rodriguez defeats Vargas to improve his records to 24-0. Congratulations to my man over there, and we go from there. Formula, ladies and gentlemen, shout out to fucking Lewis Hamilton finally winning for freaking Ferrari. Great, great, great win victory for you there, my guy. I just want to show you nothing but love, which is still in second place because Mercedes is still number one. So Kimmy is the one you have to worry about at the end of the day. But let's go down to business. Um, you're making the left turn, ladies and gentlemen. Kyle Bush, um Motorsports greatness completion. He was a great uh racer. Uh they're still showing him love after the his heaven passed. So we're going off from there. Uh MMA, ladies and gentlemen, MMA has passed. I don't know if you've seen that. The White House had an MMA fight in front of that.
SPEAKER_01Um did you guys watch it?
SPEAKER_04Uh no.
SPEAKER_00No, not even. Like that's a little bit disrespectful to me.
SPEAKER_04Uh I'm not doing anything. Did you see this guy talk all that shit about Michelle Obama?
SPEAKER_01That's crazy, bro. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Like, I I I don't get it.
SPEAKER_00Uh-uh, I you know, low-key, I was waiting for somebody to put something online showing Obama getting in the ring. Like, Obama should imagine they talking about my wife like that.
SPEAKER_04You're probably gonna see him going body slamming the guy and stuff like that. But at the end of the day, I mean, like, this guy had nothing else to fucking say. Nothing else.
SPEAKER_01Like, you won the match. Like, what does that do? Like, I don't get it.
SPEAKER_00A moment in history, maybe? I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, well, he had nothing else to say. Nothing else to say. Yeah. I mean, I better you said the mix fucking won. Yeah. You know, say something. Yeah, yeah. And how long have the Obamas been out of office? Oh, more than 10 years. What do they do to you? Like, what it gets That's crazy. He had nothing else to say. He couldn't figure out what to do. He was so excited, so emotional.
SPEAKER_00All I know is I can't wait until his next fight because whoever's gonna go in there better go swinging. Yeah, it was that is crazy.
SPEAKER_04Like like y'all, like they they hate them people that much.
SPEAKER_00Like they hate them.
SPEAKER_04They hate them. That's wild. What you need to be hating is your boy Trump. Because you over there celebrating with Trump situation, you figure out his inner how you be a freaking bad guy and still be in office. That's crazy. Answer me that. The greatest joker of all time. But if it was Obama in there, you guys would have had a hundred and a million ways to find a freaking, you know.
SPEAKER_00Don't don't even don't even let my guy wear a cream suit. Was it uh he he got almost impeached for wearing a cream suit at the podium?
SPEAKER_04He's still in uh uh in office. Let's let's get your priorities really. Please do, man.
SPEAKER_00And keep it speaks from respect on A man. Keep the name out of here.
SPEAKER_04All right, let's show you this shit out. All right, anyway, back to our original program, ladies and gentlemen. You're about to get a seated here. Right. WWE, ladies and gentlemen, WD's out, ladies and gentlemen, figuring out what's going on in Italy. It's still coming up, so hopefully your favorite wrestler is going to go ahead and make powerful moves. Uh Soccer, I'm not soccer, I apologize. Uh PGA Tour. Oh, PGA Tor. Uh June 18th to 21st, US Open is getting ready. Ladies and gentlemen, let me know who's your favorite golfer so we can go ahead and give them a shout out. Uh WMBA is on. If you're not watching WMBA is on, go to your regular ESPN or ESPN Plus or ESPN2, whichever one. And if you can't figure it out in English, doesn't worry, put it in espanol. Because we got us at the end of the day. You don't need to hear the commentary. If you can't speak Spanish, just watch the basketball. It is what it is. Minnesota Lynx are 11 and 3. Las Vegas Ace are 10 and 4, and New York Liberty or 10 and 4. Shout out to the champs on third place trying to figure out what's going on. Seems like New York is doing phenomenal. New York Liberty last year. It looks like my Knicks. Again, uh this year, uh Yankees are doing phenomenal and the fucking Mets. I mean, you can't have it all, bro. Listen, at the end of the day, let me know who's your favorite WMB team so I can go ahead and shout it out. FIFA, ladies and gentlemen, World Cup is what everybody's been looking at. A lot of games on, a lot of disappointment. Uh first of all, Haiti lost for those three uh bad calls that they have over there. Haiti should have at least uh fought that. Uh but at the end of the day, Haiti did lose that battle and did not win that. I I would have freaking figured something out or call if you want to freaking speak to James Dolan, maybe we can get you guys up and up and winning. But other than that, let's get you out um group A. Mexico is one and one, South Korea one and one. Group B, Switzerland one and O. Canada one and oh. Let's go to group C, Scotland one and one, and Morocco 1 and O. I can Brazil 1-0, which everybody's going on for Haiti 1-0. Let's try to figure out group D, United States 1-1. Uh they did well, no. I'm sorry about that. Yeah, they did well. Um Australia 1-0. Uh Turkey, zero. They're trying to figure out group E, Germany won. Uh Ecuador lost. Uh, Sweden won. Japan uh lost.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they lost too.
SPEAKER_04Uh listen, there's uh there's a whole bunch. I'm not gonna go through that. You figured I'd look it up there and let me know who's gonna be able to do it. Put your country flag inside the comments below. See what's going on. My country's not even in there.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's basically if it's baseball, I guess. But if it's a soccer, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04It is what it is. Uh NFL, ladies and gentlemen. NFL is getting ready uh to start, ladies and gentlemen. The preseason is getting almost ready. Let me know who is your favorite team so we can go ahead and show them some love and see what's going on over there. All right. Major League Baseball. Baseball is going on, ladies and gentlemen, like I was just saying. Uh the Yankees are 43 up, number one, Tampa Bay, uh, number two, and Central White Sox are number one, Cleveland, number two. And the West Side, we have Seattle Mariners, number one, A's, number two. And then let's go to the National League. Braves are doing fucking phenomenal shout out. Philadelphia, number two, the New York Mets all the way down in the bottom. It is what it is. Last night I was watching the game. Um Maggan Suarez did a home run in the second, and then the Grand Slam, man. Very disappointing game there, ladies and gentlemen. But at the end of the day, I don't know why you let the guy in commentation there. Uh I don't know why you let the guy in for three innings. You should have taken him out already in the second inning, but damn, I'm not a fucking coach, but whatever. Uh anyway, Central Brewers doing phenomenal. I got a feeling the Brewers are gonna do something special this year, but we'll see what happens. Don't don't quote me. But it is what is, and then Dodgers over there are just taking the fucking lead. They're already taking the A-training way up there. Uh, there's no catch into them. So shout out to the champs over there trying to figure out. All right, and then last but not least, uh-uh. Last but not least. We in the fourth court, ladies and gentlemen. And listen, there's no need because you got my main JB Mack and things over there, KAT handling business and showing love. Everybody showed their love, everybody showed their spirit, and I just want to say 2026 New York Knicks, NBA champs of the world. I waited 53 years. Actually, I waited 45 years for this shit. Your whole life, good my whole life waiting for it. I didn't know he was gonna make it, but we fucking finally did. I'm not gonna lie to you, I ain't going to the parade. Like I say, right now he's heading out. All right, I ain't leaving fucking tomorrow. All right, to go see this fucking parade and make sure this did I will be there. Yeah. All right. Um, if you're gonna be there with me, put some comments, let him know. Let me know if you're gonna be there so I can go meet up with you and we can celebrate together. Yeah. At the end of the day. Wow. All right. JB, uh MVP of the year, cat doing his thing. Uh by better being spikely of fucking ring, because now we're gonna have some problems. All right, he's been there, he does not go to the VIP entrance, he does he goes in regular entrance. Right in the front, right in the front because he wants to get the fucking experience. Yeah. At the end of the day, he doesn't get free tickets, he spends $300,000 a fucking year for season tickets uh just to be in the game. At the end of the day, if you don't give my man a fucking ring, the the even the wives are getting a ring. Okay? My man is part of the organization. Players came and left, but he's still there. Still there. I I am still here. You know? So at the end of the day, any comments, questions, concerns? How do you feel about the game?
SPEAKER_00I'm I'm I I I will tell you, this is by far one of the best series to watch um of in a long time. I think it had a very amazing comeback story. Um there was the biggest gap in terms of points in the next game. 29 points down came back and won the game. That is crazy. And then the style that y'all won him, um, I would really commend what that team has done. Y'all almost went undefeated. Almost. I I blame Trump for that one-on.
SPEAKER_04Damn right. I blame him for that.
SPEAKER_00I blame him for that one-one. Uh, but I also don't know how that city would have survived if y'all would have won on that day inside the city. That would have been amazing. Uh but overall, uh big shoutouts to him.
SPEAKER_04Um and uh losing every beginning of the quarter extremely every game. Yeah, he was down by 10, yeah, 15, yeah, came back and won.
SPEAKER_00And and OG almost won that one that y'all lost too. He he shot the three right at the end of the buzzer. Like it almost happened. Like almost. It was it's crazy. And then and then I mean, I don't know. My I also know that this game is gonna leave a mark on a lot of people, um, including my son. So now he's rocking Tim's and and I can die in peace now. And and Deacon finally he can rest. Gracial, like he's everything.
SPEAKER_04Uh, it is what it is. Uh so now we're gonna go enjoy this beautiful uh Brian Park, ladies and gentlemen. If you're not gonna be there, Brian Park is where it starts at at 10 o'clock in the morning, all the way up to City Hall. I'll be there. I'll be buying souvenirs, I'll be buying a lot of shit for myself. I'm gonna be going crazy. I don't know about you, uh, but I'll be there. That's awesome. Yeah, enjoy it.
SPEAKER_00And and I believe they're gonna give him a key to the city. So key to the city.
SPEAKER_04I'll be there again, keys to the city.
SPEAKER_00He was like, go ahead and night me. He's one knee. You know? So I'll then say Ray.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I got a question for D Hill. Would you say this is the best New York sports uh story over like you know, the subway series, over the catch that Tyreek did? What was it with the you know, some, you know, or is this like you know, like all of the great New York stories? Like I want to get your opinion on. Is this up there? Is this the best one? I mean, you know, the Giants beating the Patriots twice. I'm just gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_04Yes, so we're gonna add that to the resume.
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying. Uh you gotta pick one. Which is this the best or what?
SPEAKER_04I don't mean is this the best. Well, I mean you can't it's New York, I'm just saying. So New York, it's gotta be one of the best. Uh yes, let's do that. It's gonna be the best because it's been 53 years that we have. Yeah, 53 years.
SPEAKER_00That's over the catch?
SPEAKER_01I mean, catch the classical not plaxical, but um the other guy. Uh with on the helmet. Yes. Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04That was a great catch. That was a great guy. That's football. Yeah, we're talking about basketball. I'm saying New York sports stories. I mean, subway series don't count. We do that every year. Okay. Okay, subway series is always a meta. We're always gonna have a subway series. Uh Giants uh winning two Super Bowls uh 2007-2011 against both against uh the other. They were talking about so much back. Yes, 18-0. Uh that was a great break their record. Uh Patriots was 18-0. We finally gave them that one victory. I do appreciate that uh Eli win both MVPs. Oh my gosh, Eli. At the end of the day, uh that catch that Tyrese did was a phenomenal catch. Uh I can't hold it. Did I save our ass? Yes. Uh, but if not, I don't know what else to tell you. Okay. All right. Yeah, I just wanted to get your opinion. Especially down 29 points coming back, winning the game. That's that's gonna top the notch. I'm I'm just happy I got to see it. Okay. Yeah. But I'll let you know now, right now, Wemby, you try that fucking shit again. Um, I'm gonna go and swing at you, you know. I might get life, but as you at the end of the day, you get what you I understand you play overseas, you play dirty, I get it. But it doesn't roll like that over here. I I show you guys the clip of Wemby's all his uh dirty moves um that I send you guys on Instagram. So you guys see exactly me and I've just got a chance to see it over there. Yeah, but other than that, ladies and gentlemen, I just want to give a shout out to New York. Uh finally 53 years in the congratulations, congratulations. Thank you very much. At the end of the day, Thursday, don't call me, don't text me, don't even speak to me until the day is over. And that's all I got.
