SPEAKER_03Hello, friend. How are you?
SPEAKER_02We got on we got on beanies today, I see. Indeed.
SPEAKER_05Before we go any further, there's a mass announcement that needs to be made.
SPEAKER_03Why do you look like that?
SPEAKER_05Why do I look like what? You know. Mass announcement. So no. You know, because I don't have control over socials.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, it's right.
SPEAKER_05Jane's the oldest front club. You know, so it's it's great to have him among our numbers. So happy good.
SPEAKER_02I'm only 33.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Thanks. I appreciate that. But yeah, happy birthday. Thank you, sir. I really appreciate that. Um, yeah, thank you for all the birthday wishes and everything that has happened today. It's been a great day. Best birthday I've had in a good minute.
SPEAKER_05To put it in perspective, he goes, I got sad because Hank didn't put anything on our socials. And then he remembered, I have no control over our socials, so I couldn't do it even if I wanted to.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's okay. Because you know what has made my day that we get to do today?
SPEAKER_05What do we get to do?
SPEAKER_02We get to uh have some drinks because you know what time it is? Uh it's modello time, which means we have a special guest, Mr. OG Taco. Bam. Yay! Oh, there we go, it's on the second season. Yeah. The golf clap. Could you could do the Dumbledore clap where he's like all sophisticated? Right.
SPEAKER_01Hey, 33. That's like the golden, the golden uh age right there, because I'm 33. Hey, uh, alright.
SPEAKER_02Uh 33, the magic number. This dude over here is old as shit, dude. You're born in the wrong one, sir. Oh, that dude, right in the middle of the state.
SPEAKER_01That guy? Yeah. That guy. Yeah, 33. You're 19, so 1993 then?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, 93. What what uh what month were you bought?
SPEAKER_01Uh I'm born I'm 92, so I was born in in uh November.
SPEAKER_02November, okay. I was yeah, okay. That's not bad. You're November, baby, but that just means you're evil am I evil. Every villain and slaves. Otherwise known as Evil. What you drinking there, buddy?
SPEAKER_01Uh energy drinking Alani.
SPEAKER_02We're over here drinking like legitimately modello. We we We had to get in the spirit, man.
SPEAKER_05Not sponsored.
SPEAKER_01But we should be. Scorpio oh, Miss Gunn says she's a Scorpio. I'm an asparagus.
SPEAKER_02Okay, that's what I I'm an Apache helicopter.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's that's my hell white chocolate.
SPEAKER_01I identify as a rocket launcher.
SPEAKER_02Well, um, yeah, we have uh for most of you that don't know, he he does content as the modello guy. You know, he's uh he does modelo time. That's Motelo time.
SPEAKER_03Modelo time.
SPEAKER_02Anyway, y'all I would tag him in uh the little clips and y'all know who it is immediately. I promise you. And if you don't know who it is, look above. It's right there. OG Taco. It's easy. So we're here and we want to do a couple of uh questions and just kinda just kinda chill. So uh OG, what's been going on in your life, man?
SPEAKER_01Man, good stuff. Well we gotta be thankful for the good stuff. We're trying to we're trying to change it up, right? We're so easy we're so quick to go into like, uh I guess it's alright. But you know, I've just been trying to change my perspective there and how I answer. Definitely blessed, man. Blessed for sure. We just had some so a few setbacks, but nothing that we can't overcome. But I honestly, you know, I'm pretty thankful and pretty blessed for the opportunities that I do have. So like, you know, life life has been pretty beautiful and making connections and all that. So I say life is good, life is great.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, 100%. I I wish I could look at that in that kind of perspective with uh everything. Because nine times out of ten is that I'm I'm kind of like um how do I put it, negative Nancy? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And it's really easy, bro. It's really it's really easy to be negative. Um so what I've been telling people, man, and I mean granted, I went through that, all this traumatic stuff that you know we can talk about later on in this, but but uh you know, it's whatever, you know, spiritually, mentally, physically, right? It's whatever you get into. Um, but and man, it comes down to like what you're consuming, the people that you're around. Um, you know, just everybody's like, I don't know, like you could say their energy, you know, that like if you're around a person that's always negative, you're gonna be negative too. So um it just takes time to recognize, like uh, so I got help, right? I went, I I said enough is enough. I went I went to a psychiatrist and I went to therapist, and um, and it's kind of it and it's it helped me a lot, you know, when I you know, because it's like I would do the same, just be negative all the time. But it they helped me, they helped me a lot in the sense of um they're like you are very you're very wise and you're very you know you you know the answers to many things, right? But it's like you might not know how to, you know uh use them or react, you know, and then that's when you know we found out I have ADHD, I took all the tests and and it and then kind of explain everything. But it just came down to that is perspective and what we consume and what we're around. Um so I changed my algorithms on TikTok, on YouTube, on just everything to be more positive, right? Because it's like that's what you need to, if you want to be, you want to change and be different and think different, you that's what you need to attract, and that's how you need to like you need to consume, right? Because if you're if you're consuming negativity, if you're consuming bad things, right? It's like, man, look at all this hateful stuff on the on the internet. I was like, it doesn't always have to be like that, you know. You can say you're not interested and then you know change it up. So mine stuff is motivating, um, like deep, you know, critical thinking of how to challenge yourself, how to push yourself, right? I don't know if you guys saw my recent posts are all about um I recently started talking about my injury, recently started talking about uh what I went through and you know my help and how I shifted my perspective into because I I got tired of thinking that way when something bad goes wrong. When something bad goes wrong, I'd be like, what's next? Yeah, what's next? I was like, oh, here we go. When it rains, it pours. Or here we go, and I you know, we gotta fix, you know, especially as men, right? It's like the dryer goes out, the refrigerator goes out, you get a flat, and you're just like, oh damn, what else can go wrong, you know? And it's just like, you know, or the or the first thing you look is like, okay, what else? What else are you gonna throw at me? You know, go ahead, you know, take it. You know, you start getting into this dark time, you know, dark space, and it's just like, man, how do I keep from doing that? And just, you know, then I started like reading, consuming different content, watching other people, and and you know, there's somebody that you know, while I was like been on this journey, that somebody was like, Look, man, he's like, remember always remember that a smart man learns from his mistakes, but a wise man learns from the mistakes of others, you know. So pay attention to what other people, you know, if people give you advice and all that, like you take it, you know. You never know what you need to need to hear and and all that. So I was like, we can't we can't be negative, we gotta, you know, fight.
SPEAKER_02I agree. I agree. It's it's easier said than done. I I understand that. Yeah. But but you know, that's why we got people in our lives, like tanks, my person that, you know, or over here, I'm sorry. Over there, he's my person that, you know, if my wife's not around, because my wife is is my rock, so it's kind of like, you know, if she's not around and I'm being negative Nancy and we're going to a con, he'll be like, shut the fuck up. You know, just like yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01You got to, man. You gotta have you, you gotta have those friends, and I tell people, and and I get it a lot, you know. Some of my friends like, dude, you're an asshole, but it makes sense, bro. Like, you know, I was I'm gonna give you a moment to, you know, you know, I I I have a friend that he's going through a lot of things right now in life, and I just I get onto him, and I get onto him pretty rough, you know, and I'll be like, shut the fuck up, you know, quit being a little bitch, you know. And and he's like, gosh, bro.
SPEAKER_00I was like, why are you cussing at me? And then we'll go at it, you know. I was like, bro, you don't understand. No, I do understand. You're being a little bitch.
SPEAKER_01I was like, he's like, get a hold of yourselves and like let's get this shit done. He's like, all right, go, let's go, you know, and he and like, and once you give him time, you know, hopefully, I was like, I want you to kind of reflect on that, bro, and then come back. And I was like, Alright, bro, I'm sorry. I was tripping. I figured I we could do this instead. I was like, there we go, you know, and then you he always, you know, like just last slide, he was like, Man, I appreciate you for like, you know, always being 100. I was like, bro, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna feed you what you want to hear, right? I'm gonna give, you know, I'm gonna give you what you need, bro. Like, that's how we keep ourselves accountable. You know, accountability, I think, you know, is a is a good thing. Yeah, at the end of the day, it's accountability. Like keep keeping taper brick said, my fault, not you full. I'll just shake you down.
SPEAKER_02No, and it and it and it comes to a point to where you're and I don't know if this is this is you in general, but you know, everybody knows you as OG Tago, and everybody knows you know, you're the happy-go-lucky guy on TikTok, Facebook, all this other stuff. But what people don't know that in a darker sense, when you turn off that camera, you have problems just like anybody else. You have like, you know, with me and Tank, we both uh have mental problems, you know. I have severe depression and bipolar, he has depression, etc. And that's why we do that's why we raise money for mental health. So, like behind that camera, you know, you do these funny things, and I'm not saying, you know, because I don't know, I'm not saying this you in general, but you probably do a funny video, and as soon as you press stop, you're like, Man, now I gotta edit this, and I really don't want to. Like that, I I cannot tell you how many days that has happened. Like, me and him have been in the same room. Hey guys, what's up, man? This is Jay and Tank at the hesitation station, and then I'll stop and I'll be like, Man, I really don't want to edit this. Like, I just you know, so that's how I feel, and people don't see that, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, that's uh uh uh uh Eric said. He said, you know, we all go through things no one sees, you know, love this topic, and that's what it is, man. And and I said it in a video recently. I was like, I was like, look, guys, you know, my real name's Ivan. Uh here, here's a little bit, here's a couple things about my life. I don't let you guys see everything, right? I was like, I keep I keep my life a little private. It's like you keep the blinds and the and the uh drapes close, you know, the curtains closed in your home, and I do the same thing with my life. You know, so here's here's a little bit more about me. And you know, you're right. When I turn off the camera, man, I was like, it's I'll sit there and stare at my phone for hours trying to find, you know, I I'll I'll pick at it and pick at it. I was like, I don't like the way this edit, this is not, you know, and I'm really, really bad at going, like, oh, this ain't gonna go viral, or they and it's just that that perspective, once again, man, it's trying to change it. Like, all right, this video's gonna do well. And you know, and for some, you know, and recently they haven't been going, you know, they haven't been performing well, and I think it's just a shift, right? It's just a shift that I'm leaning more towards the I'm not being the funny modelo time guy. I'm trying to be more the vulnerable Ivan, you know. I was like, all right, I'll I just introduced y'all to Ivan. So I think there's gonna be, you know, I'm already like writing stuff, we're coming up with ideas of uh Ivan versus OG Taco, right? We're gonna go Marsh Eminem versus Marshall Mathers, you know, Mathers. You know, it's gonna be stuff like that. So um, but no, bro, you you you exactly you nailed it. You definitely nailed it, especially you know, depression and everything. I think that's a thing. Like I appreciate you guys for what you do, you know, raise raise money, do everything for uh for help, mental mental health, because it's something that we you know we don't talk about in everyone, bro. It's and it's everyone's being affected by it. Um because we don't we don't we choose not to talk about it uh because you know we might be afraid of what other people think, or you hear those talks uh of like between people like oh see, now you're saying, you know, I I heard it all the time, right? Or be like, man, I don't feel good. Uh you know, I'm this or it's like, oh you want us to throw you a pity party, or you, you know, you just want it, you're doing this for attention, or was like, what's so bad about your life? You know, you got this and you got that, you know, you need to be thankful, you know. And those are those it and it gets kind of rough, and it gets rough, you know, and like that's stuff you you don't really want to hear. So a lot of us preachers choose to fight our battles alone. Um, and that's that I think that's where the problem is. I think you know, depression is definitely a battle that's not meant to be fought alone. Yeah, and you know, I think it's something that we should be able to talk about, keep everybody, you know, have provide provide a safe space. So I think that's what I've been trying to, you know, live stream game and uh create a uh community, because you know, you know, you never know what somebody's going through, and they can come into a live and everybody's interacting with each other, having fun, and you know, for those couple hours that you're streaming, they forgot all about it, right? So it's like he's like, Man, what if you become a big big time streamer? And I'm like, uh, I was like, uh honestly, I was like, that'd be cool, but I'd rather not. I'd rather like have you know 50 to 100 people and all of them talk to to each other, you know, and have a have a community, build a community. People often human uh dehumanize us based off our public vulnerabilities, public or people are scared of their own. Oh, yeah, yeah. People are scared of their yeah, yeah, yeah. So I see where he's going with it.
SPEAKER_02Just for context, everybody. Uh Taco is doing live streams, so when he's not talking to us, he's talking to his chat. Just to clarify that.
SPEAKER_01I know that like questions pop up over here, or you know, people like, oh man, I feel that. You know, this is this is a good a good way to interact with live viewers too on a podcast. I kind of like that.
SPEAKER_02It's yeah, cool. Well, we only had like one person, and that was Tank's wife, and the chat. So I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna go over to OG's live and watch it. Even though I'm doing it, like how much surprise they would. But no, no, absolutely. Um, you know, and another thing about it is we we kind of want the exact same things. That that's the crazy part, is we want the exact same thing. Me and Tank have talked about this numerous times about having, you know, if somebody was to come up to our booth and say, you know, I'm not feeling well, I'm having a super high anxiety attack, blah blah blah. We're not gonna be like, oh well, no, you're not, you're not having an anxiety attack. No, we're gonna be like, sit down, calm down, everything's good because we want you to feel safe at cons. Because sometimes it's not always safe over there, unfortunately. But you know, and that's kind of what we want. That's why Tank does Twitch. He he does it, and and I get mad, I get mad about it because there's only like four, four people, maybe five, and most of them are our wives and our buddies. And I'm like, man, we can't get anybody in here. And he's like, dude, it's that's how we build communities, that's how we do.
SPEAKER_01You know, well, Eric said people often dehumanize us based off our public vulnerabilities. People are scared of their own uh of their own. It's a humans fear what they don't understand. I get that. I get that. It says, and then is it Adonna? Odani. I understand where taco's coming from. I'm on the same boat. And send in Mrs. Gun said, sending all the yes hugs. We appreciate that, man. Thank you. And we've we've we've uh we discussed I've discussed it with so many people, especially recently. Like I just said it um last week in a live that I was like, everybody's like, how are you doing? And I was like, man, I'm I'm a little lost. You know, you know, I told him I was like straight up, I was like, I'm a little lost, but I always find my way back. You know, it's okay for me to get lost a little bit, and and I'll find you know, find my way back. You know, I always I always figure it out. There's always a way, you know, and that's what I the try to tell people whenever we're we're going going through things and we're in a dark, dark time. Because it's like if you know we get it a lot. I have some friends that's like, man, I'd rather just go through it alone because I feel like nobody understands. I was like, we do understand, man. It's like we we do, you know, if anything, like I don't like it's like I don't like to compare myself and say I went through it worse. I think that's the the worst thing you can do when somebody's gone through it, right? But it's like so it's like so I like that's why I share my story instead. So it's like let me show you my story of of what happened to me, you know. I was like, I was in the hospital for 45 days total, right? So it's like damn, so so it's really it's like I I can't even tell you, like, I can still remember a lot of things, um, because it's still pretty fresh. I mean, it was a traumatizing time. So when you go through through so much, you can kind of remember every single day, you know what I mean. And so uh I was just I was gonna edit, I was before I jumped in, I was going through like videos. I used to like document what I was going through, and uh, and I thought about maybe I'm I'll probably split these up and kind of throw like a little bit up there what I was going through when I was in the hospital. But man, I can't tell you guys how much I got tested there. I I was for sure. Uh, because I mean uh not only was there a lot of pain involved, like physically, but your that mental strength, right? To uh at the end of the day, everybody has to go home. There's nobody there but yourself, right? Nobody can just, you know, there's there's not gonna be somebody at the hospital with you 24-7. You know what I mean? Everybody has to go home, everybody has, you know, they got jobs, they gotta go to their jobs, you know. So it's like at the end of the day, I'm just I'm just uh awake. I'd stay awake for for 48 hours sometimes, just because I couldn't, you know, I couldn't get comfortable, uh, pain was high. So I went through a lot of trial and errors for sure in in there. And and that's why I came out a different person, that's for sure. I came out a way different person, and and uh I think that just kind of changed my perspective in a lot of things. Because it's just like man, uh, you know, it could be worse. So let's be thankful for the things that we do have, right?
SPEAKER_02It's right.
SPEAKER_01Um you know, I got I got tested there, and you know, losing the ability to feel your legs. That's not cool, man. Not cool. Like we we take we take so much for granted, you know. We we take so much for granted that we don't ever uh we don't even ever think about these things, but uh just to you know. Sitting there in silence, you know, in a dark room and in the hospital, you just kind of like, damn bro, I really can't feel my legs. You know, I can't, my legs are really asleep right now. Like, you know, what's what you know, it's like tomorrow is like you're and you're just sitting there like, man, tomorrow's not promised. Or the doctor is like, uh, we're gonna give it a couple more weeks, and they're giving you answers you don't want to hear. So then you start getting mad at them, and and they would they would actually send counselors in and uh try to make sure I wasn't gonna try to jump off uh jump out a window or something, you know. Yeah, they they actually do, yeah. They come and they ask, you know, he's like, when's the last time you slept? I was like, I don't know. I was like, okay, are you having any feelings of heart? I was like, I was like, no, no, no, no, no. You know, no, absolutely not. No, you know, um it sounds like it's come a long way, man. Uh yeah, yeah. That's what my my homie Travis are here. He's been uh a follower since 2019, since I first started, and he said, I'm proud of you, you came a long way, man. Much love. I was like, I appreciate it. You know, there's a lot of people that have been rocking with me since I started in 2019, and I appreciate them a lot. They've they've watched me in a way grow, you know, kind of grow up to, you know, change and become who I am today. And I tell people, man, I'm not perfect, man. I still mess up every day, but I'm still I'm still learning and I'm still trying to overcome, you know, so many obstacles within myself and all these battles that I still fight every single day. Um now am I well equipped with some good armor? Yeah, I just you know, where I'm in a I'm in a dungeon and there's a lot of lot of sliced open demons, and I'm you know, they're like, damn, we gotta fight this guy. We still gotta fight this guy, bro. You know. So it's it's definitely definitely been, you know, a test for sure.
SPEAKER_02Tank, uh you've been quiet, so I'm gonna let you go.
SPEAKER_05You're good. Man, I mean, it's it's like you said, you know, it's and a lot of people overlook it. It's often the little things, you know, for guys, well, really anybody, you know, at some point it's the small stuff that stacks up. And when you're going through it at first, nobody really thinks about it, especially in this day and age. It's 2026 and everybody's up in arms about this, that, and the other. But and I hate to say it, but in my opinion, on the from the outside looking in, we've lost all camaraderie. Um and I say that because this day and age, it's like everybody is at everybody's root for one reason or another. You know, and I I get you know everybody wants to be included, and we need to be more understanding and accepting. And I am one million percent down with people being who they are, 100%. As long as it doesn't cause any like actual harm to somebody, do you dog. You know, if you want to I don't know, help start a bubble tea shop in the middle of the Sahara Desert, go for it. You know, just just don't try to bring people down because like you said, everybody's dealing with their own stuff, and you never know what's going on in somebody's mind. And like I said, it's all small stuff that stacks up over time, and at some point it's gonna be too much, and that dam's gonna break. So it helps when you have friends beside your family, or you know, therapists, or you know, whatever you need to get it out. It's one of the things that we tell everybody when we go to cons, when we work events. I'm like if you just see me on the streets, a lot of people think big, scary, metalhead, biker-looking guy, and all rippy head off. I'm a nice dude. He's a teddy bear. Yeah, I don't know what people go through, so I try my best not to judge people just on what I see. Yeah, yeah, no, exactly. And I mean, you know, we try and make our table a safe spot for anybody. If you have a problem and you want to talk, talk, I'm all ears. I've seen a lot over the years, I've done a lot, I've been through a lot of trauma, I've rebuilt from a lot of trauma, and I've helped others, and others have helped me. And in this day and age, I think that's the perfect way to go about it. Yeah, you know, I still have the problem where I try to deal with a lot of stuff on my own, but at the end of the day, that's not always possible. So, I mean, like, it's it's great to have a team behind you, whether it's your family, your friends, coworkers, whoever. And that's one thing that Jay and I talk about on almost every episode we do. You know, hit us up. We've got TikTok, we've got Facebook, we answer. If you got a problem and you don't think anybody in your family, your friends can help, talk to us. We may not be the smartest in the bunch, but we're gonna help you.
SPEAKER_02Yes. I mean, and we're not like it's not like our Instagram stuff is flooded with messages. We we will answer you. We are we will make time for you. Even if it was flooded, even if it was, and we were like some big TikTokers, we wouldn't or big content creators, we would make time.
SPEAKER_05We don't have all the answers for all the problems. But we have an ear. We can listen. You know, we got shoulders if you need to cry. You know, and I mean, like uh like I told you earlier, like we were like, are we gonna cry together? I was like, dude, if that's what helps you get better. You know, fuck it. Let's go. I don't care. It's 2026. If you gotta cry, cry.
SPEAKER_02I cry with you. I ain't yeah, I ain't judging you. I mean, if it makes you feel any better, uh, Taco, um I cried over that's a lie. Bitch. If it makes you feel any better, I cried over a uh 3D printed orc skull. So there's that.
SPEAKER_05To put it in perspective, he was inebriated at the time, but it was hilarious.
SPEAKER_02Uh you know those 3D printed uh dice towers? Like I don't maybe for like Dungeons and Dragons? Yeah. Oh, okay, okay, okay, yeah, yeah, probably. And you could like put your dice through it, right? And it was an orc skull. And I looked at it, I was I was inebriated as I don't know what. And I'm looking at this skull, and I'm like, we killed this skull to we killed this orc to get its skull where we could print it on the 3D printer. And I'm just bawling my eyes out, and then I finally hit a realization that this is not a real orc. Okay, fine, you know, wipe my eyes off, blah blah blah. And then my asshole of a wife was like, but Jay, how did they get the how did they get the idea? How did they get the files from it? And I'm like, oh yeah, I do I do, I just sobbed over this one 3D printed tower, and I was just like, yeah, not my finest moment, but I've cried about it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, I think, yeah, I think my my problem, the thing that I struggle with, man, is I don't I don't like to cry. And I don't uh I don't either. Yeah, I I try I I I still don't. I still don't. And I like I get choked up and I'm just like, bitch.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and then one movie where the dude's guys like you get back up in there. Get back in there, tier. Flip lockwood.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, uh Cloudy with a chance of meatball. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's that, yeah, man, that's me. I don't I don't I I'll get emotional and I uh I you know and I get emotional all the time and I think because uh I think it's just past trauma. You know, I was always a sensitive, sensitive kid, and anything could make me uh anything could make me cry, and it could be like happy things, sad things, it could be a song, it could be um leaving my grandparents' house or something, or my cousins having to leave, and I I would cry and people would make fun of me, and now it's like, you know, I'm like, uh, yeah, I don't want to cry, you know. But a lot of people say it's healthy, it's healthy for you. You gotta let it out, you know. I was just like, I don't want to let it out, you know. I was like, I was like, I'm a man. I'm a man.
SPEAKER_05It's amazing. It's funny because talking about all this reminded me, one of the shows that I used to watch. Um I didn't like at the time it didn't click with me, but growing, like becoming an adult and seeing everything, uh you don't really like on your first watch, you don't really understand the life lessons that you learned from Uncle Iron on Avatar The Last Airbender. But then you go back and you re-watch it and you like one of the quotes is one of the ones that I love. It's if you look for the light, you can often find it, but if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see. Yeah, that's you even that's a perspective thing, I can even when things are horrible. You just find that, even if it's a small light, you can find it.
SPEAKER_02I I love how what Travis says, taco homies only cry in secret.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. What's up, Joker? Yeah, it it's uh that's what I was telling. Like, you know, that's the perspective, bro. Perspective. It's like it's all about look focus on the positive. You keep focusing on the positive, you're always gonna look at the potential, the positivity, and all the good that comes from it, right? It's like if something doesn't go your way, look at the positives of what of not of things not going your way. If this if this job didn't take you, you know, it's for a reason. If this job, if you got fired, you know, I got fired from good a good job, man. I I was I was uh pretty much lead, I was uh like manager, I don't know. There wasn't really a title, they just kind of threw me in, but I was overseeing a lot of departments in a way, and I was making good money. They started me, I think it was like 22 an hour starting off, right? So I was like, ah, badass, you know, maybe in a couple like three to four years, I'll be making a lot more, right? I lasted like six months and then they got rid of me. Um and so it's just kind of like uh, you know, but I I you know, I remember crying, calling my dad, and it's just like right after that, man, it's like, man, it was I was meant to go, you know, I was meant to get fired. I was not supposed to be there, you know. Whether, you know, whether what it is that you believe in. If it if you think I was like, no, God was telling me I didn't need to do that, or the universe is telling me not to do that. You know, whatever, whatever you believe in, you know, just look at it that look at it in that perspective, right? It's that's what I keep telling people, like change your perspective. Uh, you know, my my therapist, she was like, you like just go off of the you know the fame the famous quote, right? Uh and the way I don't I don't know how the quote exactly goes, but there's two dogs in you, right? They're within you.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah, that negative. You got two wolves inside. You got two wolves inside of you. Whichever one you feed.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. So if if if you're feeding, if you're feeding this wolf negativity all the time, you know, that's he's the one that's eating the most. That's the one that's gonna win the negative wolf uh compared to the positive wolf. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_05So that's what like you that's something I try to tell him all the time.
SPEAKER_02Well my defense, my therapist told me to go do LSD. So Which threw me off when he told me that. Yeah, dude. I swear, I swear to you. She's like, have you ever I told her my problems, and she's like, have you ever tried LSD? Like, have you ever like straight up ask me? And she's like, it might be good for you. And I'm like, No.
SPEAKER_01I think you have to be in a very open mind to try, yeah. Uh try psychedelics. Uh, you also have to have a group of people that are that if you start having a bad trip, they can help you uh navigate it. But I I think it does in a way open trying to say what's your therapist number.
SPEAKER_02Classified. No, I'm just kidding. I lost their number a long time ago. Redacted. Redacted do drugs. Do or not, there is no try.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it it's uh but that's that's the thing, man. It's I think you know, if you're gonna do stuff like that, um, you gotta go in it with an open mind. I think it does open uh a lot of people have said that after they went on that trip, it just kind of like they viewed life differently because they they viewed, they got to see life in different uh waves and stuff like that. So it was like energy and and all that. But it's like I think you you gotta be really, really clear and really strong up here if you want to take that trip, you know? I'm not. Yeah, and that's what I told him. I was like, hey, I'm not that guy.
SPEAKER_02I'm not that guy, you're not that guy, bro.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you're not that guy, pal. You're not that guy. Yeah, I'm just like, yeah, I gotta be careful with that, you know. Because, you know, I've had people like, man, try some psychedelics, bro. You know, we can walk you through microdows. I'm like, same.
SPEAKER_05What works for one person may not work for somebody else.
SPEAKER_01That's what I'm saying. That's everybody, everybody's different, everyone's body is different, everybody, you know, goes through things differently, right? Not everybody, not every single person is gonna go through the same exact thing. They might go through their own versions of it that's pretty similar, but it's not they're not gonna go through the same exact thing.
SPEAKER_05I draw so well. I mean, it's like we were talking earlier, you know, how you know I can't do half the stuff I did when I was younger. You know, everybody's built different, you know. I mean, one person could do seven hits of ass and go to work and have a great day. Yeah. But the next person could do seven hits of it and be in the hospital.
SPEAKER_02Y'all guys are heathens. I'm just gonna sit here and drink my apple juice and silently judge.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you enjoy your apple juice, sir. We know what time it is.
SPEAKER_02So, kind of kinda switching over a little bit. I I thoroughly enjoyed uh our talk about mental health and how we are, but I'm gonna switch it over a little bit to a little bit of lightheartedness if that's all right.
SPEAKER_05I think this has been the deepest episode we've had so far.
SPEAKER_02And I'm I'm totally fine with it. I absolutely enjoyed it. But there's something like most people are like, here's the questions done. Okay, bye. You know, that's that's what most people do on here, which is fine. I mean, I'm happy with any time that we're given. Um but one thing that about OG, you know what? No, one thing about Ivan that I just found out uh that he too is somebody that likes Power Rangers. Oh yeah. So we are as y'all guys know, we we love Power Rangers.
SPEAKER_05Um, not not not at all.
SPEAKER_02No, not at all. I don't have as much as Tank, okay? And uh Yeah, there's more over there. Yeah, there's way more. And we got a we got a glimpse. Well, I I say we mainly tank got a glimpse, and Tank showed me a glimpse of your of your collection. My god, dude. I thought tank was bad.
SPEAKER_05Most of mine focuses on like mighty morphine. I mean, I've got bits and pieces of other stuff, but no, he's I I want his.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, he's got a lot. Like that. I think I've seen some samurai there, something like that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there's uh there is that it's definitely Zordon, everything's Zordon uh era. So this is like probably around 2000, oh up to 2000, maybe. So it's uh so for me, our like I kind of vaguely remember uh Mighty Morphin as a kid. Uh I remember the movie. Uh I remember seeing the movie and being obsessed with Ivan Ooze because it was a villain named Ivan Ooze.
SPEAKER_05That pop right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Except mine's still in the box.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like uh Ivan Ooze, yeah. Uh remember the movie? My mom worked at a movie store in West Dallas at the time, and uh, you know, she'd come home with the movie or uh the game for the Sega. I remember uh they got a Sega from Redna Center that year. Um so I was obsessed with the Mighty Morphin, but I uh you know I remember waking up and watching the new episodes of uh Space in Space, Power Rangers in Space. So that that was a season that you know I was older and I remember hardcore. It was it went uh in space, lost galaxy, uh, and life speed rescue were like my top dogs.
SPEAKER_02See, I hated light speed and rescue. Really? I didn't I it's nothing against it, I just never got into it. It was not my forte. Another one I really didn't like was um Time Force. I think it's time force. Is it time force?
SPEAKER_01Oh man, I'm gonna text Jason. I'm gonna I'm gonna text him and be like, come into this live.
SPEAKER_05You tell you tell Mr. Font that I thoroughly enjoyed his work. Oh, I love Jason.
SPEAKER_02Don't get me wrong. Hold up now. I love the actor. He was good, I just didn't like Time Force. Okay, speaking of, speaking of, let me show you this real quick while I can show you real fast. Look at all. Oh, you got his signature avenues. I I when I saw him, I told him, uh, you scared the hell out of me as a kid. Because I mean, think about it, man. Like, this was like the first like villain that actually was kind of like humanoid in a sense. Like he had the goatee and everything like that. And he was like way more intelligent than Rita and uh Zed, I believe. Because Zed was just like Power Rangers, I kill you, and that was it. And then Rita's like, monster grow, and then that was it. No, Ivan had everything planned out, he was able to transform, and then he was able to do his plan accordingly. The only reason it didn't work was because the Power Rangers were in town. So I'm just saying, that's why he was.
SPEAKER_01That's all it was. So he corrupted how did you come up with that? That's what it was. I think I had a conversation with his like, you know, he was just a hippie, right? He's just a hippie that smoked pot and got the adults to smoke pot and turned the kids against him, you know?
SPEAKER_02Travic, you're gonna have to tone it down with with with the uh comments. He he's hitting every single comment perfectly. Like, you're like, oh yeah, he was just a hippie that smoked pot. Travic goes, my kind of guy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. He's like, if you think about it, was he really a bad guy? I mean, he really like, you know, he told you, hey man, smoke pot. Tell your parents about it, you know. But except it was ooze or goo.
SPEAKER_02What was it? Yeah, it was ooze.
SPEAKER_00Now they're like just take it to your parents' face. It's just kind of like he was teaching teenagers how to rebel against their parents. That's it. Yeah. Teenagers with an attitude. Yeah, there you go. It's the 90s, bro.
SPEAKER_01This was the rebel, the the uh the grunge era, you know, everybody was rebelling and going to Woodstock and tearing up tearing up stages and listening to Lip Biscuit and watching WWE telling teachers to suck it, you know? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Now, one thing that I'm very proud of, which I don't ever this is for you, OG, okay? This is for you. I don't ever take this down, but this is like a prize possession of mine.
SPEAKER_05So I wonder what this is.
SPEAKER_02I oh, I wonder. My kind of guy. He's okay, okay. I'm done now.
SPEAKER_03Okay, let's see.
SPEAKER_01This is look at that. Oh, you got uh you got the white by JDS.
SPEAKER_02Autographed my guy. That's dope. Yep, I got that autographed and uh the Morpher as well autographed bomb. But this one I really I really want to find like a good display case for it. Yeah, but I I don't want to spend like $99 on the beach.
SPEAKER_01Hey, uh well, I got a uh I got a little I'm working with a little ad with um Timu right now, and they sent me a glass. display case so I might be you know might be able to get you a hundred dollars off on a 99 display case you you just let me know bro yeah it was like use code AD45 something you know and get a get uh some money off uh yeah I need to make that video and that's one thing I've been slacking is making this uh brand deal stuff that stuff gets that's a that's another conversation but yeah the uh um I have his Saba from my buddy Gary gifted me the Saba saber the uh from the legacy collection which is like metal and talks so it this is the one that actually has the animatronics on it.
SPEAKER_02Oh okay and it's uh same one you got it it's I I'm over here oh it it's like mine but his is better you got his green ranger helmet hey Travis fuck you wait a minute behind the helmet and the Funko but mine like it it moves and everything it it just doesn't talk.
SPEAKER_05It has the option but there was some corrosion in the battery compartment so if I want it to work I'm gonna have to get it fixed. Ah yeah but it's it's the original 1994 one and I don't know if I want to do that.
SPEAKER_01You just gotta find somebody that's really good with vintage toys to fix him.
SPEAKER_02They're they're around here but not in Mississippi man.
SPEAKER_01Yeah not in Mississippi nope you know my thing you know his hold on hold on I have to let my wife in okay his is uh obviously Power Rangers mine if you can see it right here you can see it all over here mine is mine is not so case I was gonna say like I I never got into uh anime and stuff like that because mainly you know growing up in a Hispanic household uh you know my grand you know our grandparents my grandparents are always old school and they watch TV and they watch the news and they believe the propaganda that Dragon Ball Z was the devil because that's what they were saying back in the day in the 90s that don't let your kids play Mortal Kombat it's violent. Don't let your kids watch Dragon Ball Z because it worships the devil you know and play Pokemon.
SPEAKER_02Yeah don't play Pokemon yeah so they always don't play Magic the Gathering yeah the it was your your open up portal son yeah so yeah I went through this I didn't get to watch anime so I still don't like watch it like that but I know my buddy Gary uh he's been he tells he he tells like bro uh Naruto got me through some tough times man because if you really sit there and watch it it was like it's got some deep stuff so he's like you know like One Piece uh Naruto Naruto really like gives you lessons like you said avatars like I haven't never watched any of those um you know I just I was like I don't know man just was just life experiences that got me through it there's that's or wrestling that's what uh got me through a lot of my stuff um was Naruto I was the kid that got bullied I also kind of was asked to be bullied because I would be the kid in school going you know stuff like that. Uh yeah yeah we definitely would have picked on you yeah yeah 100% so I guess I get that but at the same time like I would go home all sad after being like you know shoved in lockers and stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yeah well now now it's different now these a lot of the kids are into it you know yeah and it's stupid because now it's like it no it's stupid because it's like now it's edgy and cool to be in an anime now all the girls are in it and I'm like oh my gosh she loves anime bro I gotta date her you know like you're uncool if you don't watch it yeah how does that make sense you don't watch anime you're lame what a lame loser wait a minute what are you into man is like I don't know cars and chicks ugh I'm into anime close by itself who know I think the I think the girl the ghosts no I think the girls are home oh yeah just no chocolate that's a ghost before we go any further Travis I need that green ranger helmet dog yeah it would go great up there with my Green Ranger stuff actually Travis I don't want it I got the white he's the he's the green I'm the white uh I personally would like the Lord Draken one because Lord Draken Yeah Lord Dragon in the comic books is is uh Tommy if he never went into uh if he never became uh good and stayed evil and he pretty much took over the the world and took over the universe because he was powerful enough to uh kick everyone's ass.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. It's crazy because in the s uh in the comics uh for Lord Dragon it was gonna be Jason was gonna be the White Ranger.
SPEAKER_02But then Tommy was like and like the cool thing is is that I actually asked for that uh ironically asked for that helmet a couple birthdays ago and I never got it because it I I kid you overnight dude overnight my wife was like yeah I'll get it for you it was like $99 something like that not too shabby this is like two years ago so she went to go get it on Amazon so she goes babe come here and I'm like okay look down she's showing me the Lord Dragon helmet the thing went up from $99 in two nights because she went to buy it two nights later for me it went up to $199.95 I was like dude what happened and this is before he passed it's before he passed it just shot up into price so now I I don't think I'm ever gonna get that bitch away you just gotta send OG taco on a toy hunt.
SPEAKER_01Yeah okay go on a toy hunt and don't tell me let me know I'll I'll cash app you the money like I'll I'll go on I was like bet that that's the problem though see like I found Lord Draken for $15 at the action figure and I was like eh nobody's into it same thing and I was like eighty dollars you know surprise yeah and I was like damn they got yeah uh actually the other day I found uh and I vlogged it I found the Cycle Rangers uh on a set which was an Amazon set and I think it was I think it was probably a hundred dollar set well there's six figures so it might have been 150 ish because you know they charge like 20 bucks per figure or whatever yeah 2025 and um I went to uh Isle nine colle uh aisle nine collectibles I believe down in Brownsville Texas so shout out to them uh I've I met him a couple times made some videos in there and I was like I was literally filming the vlog and like caught it when I was like looking at my camera and staring around myself I caught it that it was behind me and I was like oh what's that you know and I think I cut it and I was just like guys I think I just seen something and you know like record myself is like no way like he's got the Cycle Ranger uh lightning collection figures that I've been looking for uh but I could I just couldn't pull the plug on 350 bucks and I was and I was like I just paid off my credit card and I never seen it in person and it's here I might have to get it you know I was like I might have to get it I might have to get it and uh did you nah man awesome dude uh like he's you know awesome guy we're you know we were talking and you know I had other there was another creator with me and and uh I had like a whole bunch of stuff and he threw me a price and I was like what he's like yeah man just like for you always coming in I'm proud of you and always showing me love and I was like and I was like I don't want to cry here over some toys bro but I will I will freaking I'll I'll do it I'll break down right now you know I was like I'll break down for these like he's like yeah man you know just keeping it real with you and uh pretty I pretty much didn't didn't have to come out of pocket for them that was that was insane uh an insane deal we got done then so big shout out to Sergio out of IL9 uh it's called aisle nine I'll I'll yeah yeah uh so you want to shout out your socials where everybody can follow you yeah it's uh OG Taco everywhere except Instagram on Instagram is Zero G Taco but if you uh if you still can't find me just OG Taco modello time fool and you might find me you might see a guy with a beanie well we all wear beanie so which one are they gonna find?
