Moving Through

Resolved in Hope

I Care Outreach Episode 37

The Christmas season is upon us, and we are about to enter a New Year.  This time of year is a special season of hope with expectation, as we reflect upon the Christmas story and the coming New Year.

This 37th Podcast in titled, “Resolved in Hope.” Our hope must be grounded firmly in God.  He provides the stimulus and motive to live as an authentic life-giver even in the face of difficulty, loss, and suffering, while bringing His gifts of peace and joy.

Rev. Howard Thurman, an American author, philosopher, theologian and educator who lived from 1899 to 1981 says it best, “THE WORK OF CHRISTMAS BEGINS” and continues year-round.  His writings on “The Work of Christmas” and “The Mood of Christmas expresses it very clearly in his poetry.

As we are “Moving Through” the Christmas season is an invitation that calls us to be challenged and changed by what is at the center of the Christmas story: the work and life of Christ.

His life matters!

Merry Christmas and Happy 2024 Year
