Coalition Corner is an interactive series of conversations being spearheaded by the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities, to help further the dialogue surrounding issues affecting the regional HIV response and human rights movement The show brings members of various stakeholder groups together, giving them the opportunity to talk in an open and frank way. In this episode we’re discussing the rollout of PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) in Jamaica and Guyana as a new and innovative tool in the HIV response. Dr. Sasha Blackwood from the Centre for HIV/AIDS Research and Education Services (CHARES) at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Jamaica and Joel Simpson from the Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination (SASOD) in Guyana joins us.
