📍  📍 Hey, hey, welcome. So today I've got some goodies for you because veterinary receptionist week is coming up, and I know you need post ideas. I've seen a lot of requests inside my Facebook group, so I wanna be sure that you are all set up for success. But before I do, I wanna share that this episode is sponsored by Vet Social Hub.

Vet Social Hub is a handpicked hub of templates, tools, resources, and strategy that I created to save veterinary professionals.  📍 Time, energy, and all the guesswork that can revolve around social media. 'cause I know you have lots of other things on your plate besides social media because you have a main role at the hospital that you need to be focused on and life to get to.

So check out Vet Social Hub, if you wanna save time managing your clinic. Social media details will be in the description below,

but now I wanna talk about some post ideas that you can implement starting today to get you going for veterinary receptionist week. So I have pulled six ideas for you and I've got more, more details on that later,, the first one I wanna share with you is something called Receptionist Awards.

And you can turn. This post idea or really any of the post ideas I'll be sharing with you into graphics or reels. But this one would be a fun way to use Canva to create some buzz around some of the awards that you create for your receptionist. So you can share these titles on a Canva graphic or in a video, but basically the idea is to.

Create some custom awards to recognize your receptionist special abilities and talents. So some ideas of that could be a phone call, MVP calmest under pressure. You get the idea. I want you to be creative and make these unique to your receptionist and help them to just feel special about all the great work that they do.

, the second post idea that I have here is called Gratitude Wall. And this can be again, a graphic or a reel. But basically this is creating some thank you messages for your receptionist and expressing it either in a graphic, taking photos of handwritten, sticky notes.

Or sharing a video of all of the wonderful messages that either team members have shared or clients have shared, and make this a really fun way to express gratitude to all of your receptionists bonus points if you can hide this from your receptionist team. But if you are the receptionist creating all these social media posts.

This might be a little bit harder for you to execute on, but either or, this is a great idea for you to show off all the gratitude that you have for your receptionist. So with that, these next two ideas are really great if you are the main receptionist managing social media. And it's either just you or you have a couple of others on your team.

So I hope these are helpful for you. But the second one. Wait a second. On the third one I'm calling receptionist playlist and this kind of mimics Spotify's wrapped tradition that they do every year where they pull all your favorite artists music and kind of share a synopsis of all of your listening habits.

But with that, this. What this post idea does, it pulls all of your favorite songs of your receptionist or songs that are on repeat just to get you in a good mood, get a good vibes going, or just bring a good feeling to the environment there. So take all of the favorite songs and put these into a Spotify esque style graphic.

You can even make a real playlist if you're savvy enough to do that and share that. But overall this could be a graphic. With the list of songs, or you could take a snapshot or screenshot of the songs in Spotify or your favorite music player. And mash those up into a reel and add the music to it.

But I love this idea so much,  so this fourth post idea I can't count today is something I'm calling before you even walk in. And I say, this one's a really easy one. If you're the only receptionist creating content for your hospital, or if there's just a handful of you this will basically highlight.

All of the work that you do to prepare for clients to even come into the clinic. So this could be you recording tasks of you getting prescriptions ready, appointments calling back appointments if they've canceled or there's a wait list or checking the schedule or returning any calls or anything of that nature that you guys do to prepare for the day.

Like I said, you could either take. Snapshots of you or like record a couple of second clips of you doing this or share the routine on a Canva graphic, something just to kind of express to clients. All that goes into everything before they actually come into the doors. This will kind of educate them that you're not just right there sitting on the phone or sitting at the computer waiting for them at their beck and call and all the things that clients can think of.

So. Hopefully those two ideas help. But with these last ideas that I have, this is a fun way to incorporate the whole team, I feel like, or to just bring a lighthearted feel to your social media posts. And I feel like these both will do well if you do these on video, on reels. But this next post you could easily do on a Canva graphic as well.

But this is what I'm calling what's in my desk drawer. You can easily adapt this to, a desk area if you guys don't have desk drawers for the receptionist. But with that. You can show what's in the desk drawer at the desk area there, or even in their purses and see who's got the silliest item.

Or the creepiest thing, depending on how dark your humor is and how your clients will be receptive to that. But yeah, this could just be a fun contest of like, okay, who's got the funniest or random thing in their. Area or in the burst. So this last idea that I have might  require a little bit more planning on your part, but I hope this idea inspires you and creates some fun.

But this is why I'm gonna call phone call Olympics and this would be best recorded. So if you're not quite comfortable with video, this might be the time for you to step into that, a little encouragement for you to try it out. But this could be you creating some Olympic style sports that are.

Themed around what receptionists do on a day-to-day basis. So if you still have phones you could try to balance a phone on your shoulder while trying to find a chart or keep the cat away from your coffee or, you know, something. Make it relevant to what. Is actually happening at your hospital, but you could do fun team sports with that.

Have everybody on the team try to go through all these exercises that are just really goofy. And then see how well the receptionist perform in those Olympic sports, so to speak. And just have some fun with it. So those are my six post ideas that I have that you could probably start using today and planning out for veterinary receptionist week.

But if you are wanting more ideas and the Canva templates that I mentioned to help make this easier to  implement then I've got 30 post ideas and 16 customizable Canva templates all free   for you to grab in the description.

And I hope that they inspire a lot of creativity for you and make your job easier in creating these post ideas. And while you are in the description box, I highly encourage you to check out the Northern American Association of Veterinary Receptionists or otherwise known as nr. It's the newest association. Built for veterinary receptionist. And I love everything that they're doing. They are doing amazing things and I would love for you to check it out if you haven't heard about them already, and sign up your receptionist, or if you are the receptionist watching this highly encourage you to sign up if you can.

I. They're, they're truly doing wonderful things and I'm really excited that you guys have this resource available for you. But with that, that's all I have for you today. Thank you so much for joining me. And if you are the receptionist at your clinic watching this, I just wanna thank you so much for everything you do.

I know how difficult your job is and everything that you do to keep the clinic running smoothly. And I just wanna say thank you. You are truly amazing. But with that, I wish you all the best  📍 and I will catch you later. Bye.
